I would just like to add that in most cases, Japanese actors use these tokusatsu shows as a springboard to start up their career. It is a case on what is known as the "I knew them before they were famous"

A good example here is the guy who plays Roronoa Zorro from Netflix's One Piece, Mackenyu. He was in the tokusatsu movie, Kamen Rider Drive: Surprise Future, where he played the main role's "son".

Another example is the actor who plays Kurama in Netflix's Yuyu Hakusho, Jun Shison/ He was the red sentai of the tokusatsu show Ressha Sentai ToQger.

Most notable are Rorouni Kenshin's Kenshin Himura, Takeru Satoh who plays the lead of the tokusatsu show Kamen Rider Den-O.

Girls' Frontline TV Anime Brings January 2022 Premiere, More Cast, Staff, New Visual, Trailer to the Battlefield

  The Girls' Frontline TV anime is set to roll out onto Japanese TV screens on January 2022, Warner Bros. Japan announced today. Alongside the date, a new trailer and visual was released for the series as well as more cast and staff and the ending theme artist and song.

      Joining the already announced cast members are:

  Hitomi Nabatame as Agent

  Kaya Okuno as Scarecrow

  Shizuka Ito as Executioner

  Previously, Shigeru Ueda was confirmed to be directing Girls' Frontline at Asahi Production with Hideyuki Kurata writing the scripts, Masaki Yamada designing the characters for animation, and Takashi Watanabe composing music for the series. The opening theme was previously announced to be yukaDD(;´∀｀) singing "BAD CANDY," with today, revealing that TEAM SHACHI will be performing the ending theme song "HORIZON" for the TV anime series. This is kind of fun to do lmao... So what happens when the Riders meet their double (a.k.a actor)... I assume chaos ensues...?

In general, a lot of screaming, confusion, bewilderment and yes, chaos

Specifically:

Shoutaro & Renn Kiriyama- I think that after the initial shock, they’d be pretty cool with meeting each other. Then Shoutaro brings up the UST between him and “Gentaro” in Laughing Under the Clouds...

Philip & Masaki Suda: Philip would go rambling on and on about all the things he looked up about Masaki, who is just bemused and wondering if this was what his co-stars felt when they did a scene like this

Eiji & Shu Watanabe- Eiji would demand to know what the hell is going on between him and “Ankh”. Shu of course would say that they’re just good friends... making Eiji rather jealous of their closeness

Gentaro & Sota Fukushi- I think these two would get along pretty well. Sota would think that maybe Gentaro was a bit too energetic and loud, but would otherwise like him a lot

Haruto & Shun’ya Shiraishi- They’d try to be a little aloof about it, hiding the fact that they’re actually quite jealous of the other- Haruto because Shun’ya has a “normal” life, Shun’ya because Haruto actually has fucking magic

Kouta & Gaku Sano- The minute Gaku tells him about Yutaka Kobayashi being a sweets-baking dorkass, Kouta would be all “USO!!!” So Gaku takes him to Yutaka, who bakes this for them, and Kouta reacts like Peko’s actor did

Shinnosuke & Ryoma Takeuchi- “So... ‘The Nation’s Boyfriend’ huh?” “Yeah, though people say that might change to ‘The World’s Boyfriend’ now that I’m Red from Pokemon” “Excuse me you were who from what now?!” 

Takeru & Shun Nishime- As two cinnamon rolls who are too good for this sinful world, they will get along well after the shock passes. Shun won’t be so pleased about how everyone still thinks of Takeru as a child, though...

Emu & Hiroki Iijima- Emu would grill Hiroki about his video game knowledge, which would be limited for obvious reasons.. also Emu would ask Hiroki why he wasn’t the one in Detective Pikachu instead of Ryoma

Sento & Atsuhiro Inukai- They’d bond over the fact that they’re both complete nerds, lol. Then Sento asks about something from an interview he saw for Eiji Akaso... “So, are you and Banjou’s actor dating?” -cue spittake from Acchan-

Sougo & Sou Okuno- Sougo would baffle Sou by asking if he similarly wants to be a king like him. Sou would shock Sougo with his ballet training

Set after the Meiji Restoration in Otsu, Shiga Prefecture, Japan.

Orochi is a giant snake with enormous power. The giant snake revives once every 300 years and brings disaster to the people. This year is the year of Orochi’s revival.

The Kumo family, who succeeds the Kumo shrine, have 3 sons. The eldest son is Tenka ( Sota Fukushi), the second is Soramaru and the youngest Chutaro. The 3 brothers attempt to block the power of Orochi. Meanwhile, special forces Yamainu try to seal again the power of Orochi to bring peace to Japan, but the ninja group “Anyaku” from the Fuma clan begin their move to gain the power of Orochi to overthrow the government.

Surrounding the Orochi's revival a three-way battle takes place between the brothers, special forces Yamainu and ninja group Anyaku from Fuma clan.
