Birdie - Satoru Gojo | Chapter 21
words: 3,9k
summary:While everyone adored him, you stood apart in your feelings. It wouldn't be accurate to say you hated him, as " hate " was a strong word, rather, you harbored a profound dislike towards him. The problem was he knew that and his irritating presence seemed to persistently cling to you whenever he crossed your paths. Now, you found yourself paired with him for your semester project, and the thought made you wish to hurl yourself out of the third-floor window. Three months of working alongside him loomed ahead. Adding to the discomfort, you were currently under the scrutiny of hundreds of eyes, each gaze feeling like a murder attempt. It seemed everyone coveted the opportunity to collaborate with Gojo Satoru, except for you.
warning this chapter: injuries, hospital, abusive behavior
tags:modern au, college au, fem!reader, academic rivals, he fell first, fluff, old money Gojo Satoru, abusive parents, slight slow burn, Satoru is a softy, secondary couple (Geto Suguru x oc), a bit of angst, no use of y/n, hurt/comfort, eventual smut, Gojo plays basketball, Gojo needs a hug
notes: hi, I’m even embarrassed of posting after so long but I’m sooooo busy and I don’t find time to write. Also I said Birdie was going to last till chapter 30 but tbh I think it will reach at least chapter 25, we are in the final part of the story for Satoru and Birdie. The final part of this chapter and the next one are going to be somehow the breaking point for the story. I don’t want to extend the story bc it would feel repetitive and I don’t want to add drama to this story bc it was never my intention with this one, this one was more like a college romcom.

“So are you sure you won’t be able to go?” Kyoko asked you.
“Yeah…” You said leaving the books on the table. “Haibara’s sister can’t go, she is getting ready for her college exams and Haibara has the match.” You shrugged. “I told Satoru and even though he is a bit sad, he says that once the summer breaks begins he will make sure to spend time together.”
“Is he taking you somewhere?” Kyoko smiled.
“He doesn’t want to tell me, but I think he is planning something with Suguru…” You looked at her, closing your eyes a little bit. “So tell me… what do you know?”
“I don’t know much, but I saw on Suguru’s phone something about Okinawa.” She smiled. “Have you been to Okinawa?”
“No, but it’s beautiful, right?”
“So beautiful.” She smiled. “Ah! If they are taking us there I might actually pass away, this would be our first trip together as couples.”
“And also for the two of us together.” You pointed out.
“It’s true! I’m so excited!” She said with a big smile. “I’m so happy for us.” She said in a nostalgic tone. “I’m so happy to see you opening more, and to see this romantic side of you.” She said.
You rolled your eyes. “You are just exaggerating things.”
“Not at all.” She smiled. “And I will see it right now, look who is coming.”
Your head turned and you saw Satoru coming to where you two were.
“There is…” Kyoko said. “That light that you get when you see him.”
“Kyoko shhh…” You said embarrassed.
Satoru then sat next to you, leaving a soft kiss on your cheek, making you flushed.
“So cute.” Kyoko said with a mocking tone.
“Enough!” You said back.
“But she is right, you are so cute.” Satoru said. “Suguru is not…”
“I know, he is busy. But it’s okay because I’m enjoying seeing my best friend all embarrassed.”
You rolled your eyes as you shook your head. “And why are we still best friends?”
“Whatever…now Satoru why don’t you tell us about Okinawa?” Kyoko narrowed her eyes as she looked closely to Satoru.
“What about Okinawa?!” His voice came out a bit pitchy, it was clear he knew.
“Yeah…” This time you spoke. “Tell us.”
“I don’t know what you two are talking about!” He stood up. “Let’s go, you need to work.” He said leaving both our you there laughing.
“We will have to look out for bikinis.” Kyoko joked.
“I will see you at home.” You waved at her goodbye as you started to walk towards Satoru.
As usual the ride to your work was filled with laughter and new conversations between the both of you, sometimes you wished those rides could last longer because you wanted to know more about Satoru, hear him laugh all the time. Just simply spend time with him.
Maybe Kyoko was right, maybe you were losing it due to how in love you were.
“Thank you for taking me to work.” You said taking your bag.
“You are my girlfriend, it’s what I should do.” He said.
“Yeah, but there is no need ‘Toru…” You responded.
“Whatever, I know tomorrow you won’t be there.” He looked to the back seats, searching for something. “And it makes me sad, because I wanted to see you with this and I wanted everyone to see you wearing it, but here you have it.” He gave you a bag.
“What is this?” You said with a small smile on your lips and looking at him. “Oh! Satoru!”
“It has my name on it.” He smiled proudly.
“But I won’t be there.” You said, with a sad smile and touching his name on the shirt.
“It doesn’t matter, I want you to have it.” He said. “You can always wear it while you are working. That way everyone knows who is your favorite player.”
You smiled, ready to tease him. “Then, you got the wrong name.”
“Huh?”
“It should say Nanami here.” You tried not to burst into laughter as you watched his expression.
“Oh birdie, don’t tease me or else, you will be late for work.” He grabbed your chin and looked at you with desire.
You smiled and kissed his cheek. “Thank you. I will make sure to wear it.”
“Okay.” He then kissed your lips. “I will see you.” You hummed in response. “Love you.”
“I love you too.” You said leaving the car and waving at him goodbye.
You watched as Satoru disappeared in his car down that street. Tomorrow was a big day for him and the entire team. You couldn't be there to support him physically, but you hoped that wearing his shirt during the game while you worked would serve as a lucky charm.
Satoru Gojo POV
Satoru moved his arms as he warmed up. There were about 15 minutes left before the match started. Normally he didn't get nervous, but at that moment Satoru felt something strange. Something that had been bothering him since that morning.
His phone vibrated on his pocket, making him drop his arms to the side and taking the phone out.
A smile appeared on Satoru’s face as soon as he read the notification that popped out on his screen.
It was just two words and one emoji, but it was enough to make him happy and for that strange sensation to disappear from his check.
“Good luck 🫶”
He stayed staring at that screen for quite some time, finally your classes were ending next week. The project he fight so much to get paired with you, was due on Wednesday and after that you were both free from your classes until the next course, the last one.
You still needed to work during the summer, but Satoru had everything planned, he was going to make sure that was the best summer for both of you.
With his blue eyes still locked on the screen he started typing: I wish you were here—
“How cute, the captain all flustered by someone.” Satoru stopped typing as soon as he heard that voice.
“Sukuna…” He said looking at his ex colleague standing in the door. “This is not your team’s room, leave.”
“Why? Can’t I say hi to my dear captain?” He said with a smirk. “I heard you got a girlfriend and that she is not coming today.”
“That’s none of your business.” Satoru turned around, breaking the eye contact with Sukuna.
“I hope that’s not a distraction for you.” He kept on talking. “I won’t hold myself up.”
“Sukuna leave…” Satoru said between his teeth. “Or you want what happened last year to happen again?”
“Don’t play silly Gojo.” Sukuna walked towards Satoru. “And don’t threaten me, I won’t be nice today.”
“Ryomen, what are you doing here?” Yaga appeared on the door.
“Oh coach!” Sukuna acted surprised. “Just wishing Gojo good luck for today’s match.” He smiled, as if he was innocent. “Anyways, I will leave you alone, see you in a few minutes Gojo.”
With that Sukuna disappeared from the room, leaving Satoru and Yaga alone. “Gojo…”
“Nothing, you know Sukuna, he only came here to bother me.” Satoru said. “He is still mad about what happened last year.”
“You know it was not your fault Sukuna was kicked out right?” Yaga said, approaching him.
“Doesn’t matter anymore, now there is a match to win. It’s the end of the season, remember coach?” He smiled passing by Yaga’s side.
Before Satoru knew it, the clock had started ticking and the sound of shoes, hair and the screams of the fans filled his ears.
Satoru moved fluidly around the court, leading his teammates and setting up plays with precision. His blue eyes always following the ball. The pace of the game was intense, each possession feeling like a battle as the score went up point by point.
But Sukuna was relentless. Every time Satoru touched the ball, Sukuna was there, pressing hard on defense, Satoru had noticed how his eyes sparkled with mischief and some darkness in them. But Satoru remained composed and continued with the game, keeping his cool even as Sukuna’s taunts echoed around him.
“Are you sure you’re focused, captain?” Sukuna taunted as they collided mid-game, their shoulders colliding with a force that made the crowd gasp. “Or are you too distracted thinking about your kitty?” Sukuna laughed mockingly.
Satoru didn’t answer, instead he headed for the basket, evading Sukuna and scoring a perfect shot. The crowd erupted into an uproar and his teammates cheered, clapping him on the back, but he could still feel Sukuna’s gaze on him. Satoru couldn’t hide his anger, his fists and jaw clenched, as he remembered how Sukuna had referred to you.
During a timeout, Suguru pulled Satoru aside, his voice low but firm. “Don’t let it go to your head. This is just another game. Focus on your game plan, not Sukuna.”
Satoru nodded and took a deep breath. “I’m fine, Suguru…” But he wasn’t, he could feel the familiar spark of rivalry growing. A part of him knew that Sukuna was trying to distract him, but another part, one he couldn't ignore, was determined to show Sukuna that he couldn't be defeated.
As the final quarter began, the game was very evenly matched. Both teams were racing with adrenaline from one side to the other, exhaustion taking over as each second passed.
But then everything shifted.
Satoru had the ball in his hand when he felt how Sukuna came running to him. Sukuna launched himself at him from the side, his shoulders slamming hard into Satoru’s ribs.
The force of the blow was intense, unexpected, and he immediately felt blinding pain shoot through Satoru’s body. He staggered, his vision blurred, and within seconds he collapsed to the court, overcome with pain. His head hit the ground, and Satoru started to feel how everything around him began to darken and his name was being called in the distance.
Your POV
You look at the clock that was on the wall as you waited for the lady to give you the money. The match was probably over by know.
You were anxious to know the result and excited to see Satoru’s smiling face telling you they won.
Your eyes were again on the old lady who was in front of you and who carefully was counting each penny she had on her hands to give you the payment.
“Here you go.” The old woman said with a smile.
You offered her a polite smile and gave her her bag with what she bought. “Thank you for coming.”
The store was once again empty, it was just you and the sound of the machines that store the food as a distant sound. You pulled your phone out from your pocket, expecting excited messages from Satoru and from Kyoko. But you were met with a black screen, your old phone was dead, it ran out of battery without you noticing it.
A sighed escaped from your lips as you went to the employee’s room and searched for the cable to charge your phone.
Leaving aside the present you were going to give Satoru once he was there you carefully connected the phone and left it on the side when you heard the noise of the door opening.
Maybe it was him. He came?
You stepped outside the room, expecting to see the white hair of Satoru shining brightly under the lights of the store. But your smile quickly dropped when you saw Haibara and Nanami’s face.
Normally you would be excited but the look on their faces was telling you otherwise.
Before you could speak, Nanami spoke. “Something happened.”
Something cold run through yourself as Nanami’s words sank on your chest. “What…?”
Haibara called out your name as he approached you. “You need to leave with Kento. I will stay here don’t worry.”
Your mind was raising, confused and with thousand of questions popping. Nanami took your arm and without a word he guide you to his car.
“Wait…” You said before entering. “What happened? What’s going on?”
“Hayashi didn’t send you a message?” Nanami asked.
“My phone died, it ran out of battery… doesn’t matter! Why did Kyoko send me a message? What is going on?” You exploded.
“It’s Gojo.” You knew you were losing your strength. “He had an accident during the match.”
An accident? What?
“He is at the hospital right now…” He continued, but you could only hear him far away from you. Until he called you back. “Geto and Hayashi are there and our coach is also there. But Haibara and I came to pick you.”
“Is he… is he okay?” You trembled, scared of knowing the answer.
“I don’t know, he didn’t look good when they took him out of the match.” The air that was on your lugs once again disappeared as you listened to Nanami’s words.
“But how…? How did it happened?”
“It was a player from another team, he had problems in the past with Gojo and… he took it out today with Gojo.” Nanami explained. “He was unconscious when they took him, Geto asked as to come here for you and take you straight to the hospital.”
You nodded, shaking as every word started to process one by one in your mind. “Yeah… we should get going.”
The car ride was silent, your leg moved up and down as you felt how the suffocating knot that had formed in your stomach now settled in your body, practically leaving you without breathing. You had too many questions, but none of them came out of your lips, it was almost as if you didn't have enough strength to articulate a word.
The ride seemed endless, each second felt longer than the last. Every breath felt shallow and your mind was racing, like you were one of those Formula 1 cars, you were terrified to know its condition and completely angry towards the person who had done this to Satoru.
You felt Nanami’s eyes staring at you and then his voice echoed in the car. “We will be there soon… Captain Gojo is strong…” He whispered the last part as if he was a reminder for himself too.
You slightly nodded, still anxious and distressed.
When you arrived you didn’t even wait for the car to stop before exiting and running towards the entrance of the emergency room. Nanami’s voice called your name but you didn’t pay attention to him, you searched for some familiar faces, you needed to know his state. See him.
The pulse in your heart went straight to your ears when you saw Kyoko and Suguru’s silhouette not far from where you were. You were afraid of getting closer and hearing what they knew.
“Oh…” Kyoko gasped when she saw you. “You are here!” She hugged you. “I tried calling you but it said it was off.”
“My phone, it ran out of battery…” You whispered against her. “Kyoko, what…”
“He is stable now…” Suguru spoke this time, his voice was shaky. “They gave him painkillers for his rib and the contusion on the head was not serious. He will be okay.”
You nodded. “How did it happened?” You asked Suguru.
“It was an ex-team member… he… he got in a fight with Satoru last year and after that he got kicked out of the team.” Suguru explained. “And today…”
“Is he crazy?” You said. “Hurting someone over a…”
“It’s okay…” Kyoko tried to calm you down.
“You can go in.” Suguru said. “I’m sure that he will be glad to see you once he wakes up.”
As you followed Suguru’s steps to the room where Satoru was, Kyoko never once let your hand go. Giving you the support you desperately need it. As you stood in front of the door, you opened with shaky hands and entered it. It was completely quiet and Satoru was in the hospital bed, sleep.
You felt the sensation in your stomach growing bigger as you got closer to the bed. Studying his face, you noticed how it was paler than usual, you felt a pang of sadness as you noticed that.
Satoru was always smiling, cheerful, radiant and now… he was there, in a hospital bed, unconscious.
Your trembling fingers touched his white snowy hair. “Satoru…” You gently whispered, hoping for your nickname you used to hate so much to come out of his mouth.
But nothing happened, the only sound in the room was the monitors tracking his heart rate. You held his hand and sat next to him.
Minutes started to pass as you kept on waiting for him to come back to you. You leaned forward, resting your head on the edge of his bed and closing your eyes to breathe in his familiar scent, calming your nerves. Despite the worry that was gnawing at you, the steady beat of his heart brought you a small comfort, a reminder that he was still there.
Last time you were in a hospital was when your grandma was about to pass away. You never liked hospitals, those white walls reminded you of back when you were little after the accident with your mother. Now you knew what happened and that dislike was only bigger.
It was like you were always in a position where you had to see your loved ones suffering. Suguru said he was going to be okay, but despite that you were scared, scared of the possibility of losing him.
You knew that your love was going fast but for some reason you felt like it was meant to be, that it was the type of love you would find in books, in films, in songs.
“Satoru…” You whispered once again, squishing his hand. “Please come back, come back to me.”
Your eyes began to grow heavy as the door softly opened, a man and a woman entering the room. Their expressions were neither warm nor eager, but reserved, almost cold. You swallowed hard as their gazes fell on you, you felt like they were analyzing you completely with those looks, they were almost telling you that you didn't deserve to be in that place. You didn't hesitate for a second to know who they were, they were Satoru's parents, but unlike Satoru, the gaze of those two people lacked warmth. Their gazes moved to stop at your hand that held Satoru's.
The woman's eyes narrowed slightly and her lips pressed into a thin line as she watched you at her side.
"Are you... Satoru's friend?" His mother finally asked, with a sharp tone that almost froze your blood. She barely waited for your nod before pressing her lips together even more. “I didn’t expect my son to have *guests*,” she continued, a subtle disdain in her voice. “Especially considering the kind of company he usually keeps.”
Her husband nodded slightly, giving you a subtle look. “I’m sure you’re… worried about him.” He said. “But this is a family matter. You’d better leave.”
The disdain was clear in his words, and the pain of it cut deep. Satoru’s parents clearly saw you as an outsider, someone who didn’t deserve to be here during such a crucial time. You hesitated, looking back at Satoru, unsure if you should let go of his hand.
But the sight of him lying there, pale and vulnerable, hardened something inside you. Satoru had been there for you when you needed him most, you weren’t about to leave now, especially not when you knew of the abusive behaviors of those two people towards Satoru.
With a calm breath, you looked up and met the icy gaze of his mother. “With all due respect, I’m not leaving. Satoru means a lot to me and I’ll be here when he wakes up.”
You held his hand a little tighter, feeling both protective and defiant. You would stay, no matter what they thought. Satoru was there because of someone else's cruelty, and you were determined to be there when he opened his eyes, to be the face that reminded him that he was loved, even if his own parents couldn't see the strength of the bond you shared.
His father laughed slightly, a laugh that could be straight from a villain. “Don’t tell me you are the real reason why our son is refusing to leave that stupid degree…”
You blinked slowly, as your mouth parted trying to talk. “What…?”
This time Satoru’s mother moved closer to you, with her arms crossed in her chest and her lips still in a thin line. “We told Satoru he should focus on the family business, think about what the family needs and he still refused and acted like a little kid. But apparently he prefers to throw that away for…” She took a lock of your hair and looked at you with those cold eyes, which although in color resembled Satoru's, everything else was completely unknown. “For someone like you.”
You felt how you were getting slapped across the face with those sharp words. “I’m sorry, but with all the respect. Satoru is his own person, who is capable of making his decisions and chooses what makes him happy. If you pay attention to him you would know he…”
Satoru’s father's laugh cut you off, leaving you muted as that laugh filled the room. “You are playing with fire, you know? Satoru has the potential to be one of the best lawyers and own the market within a few years, and position our family at the top. But you appeared and as stubborn he is now suddenly he is not listening to us. And look at him, here laying down in a hospital bed because he was probably too distracted thinking about you to pay attention to the game.”
The blood on your veins started to boil as those words hit you. “Satoru is doing what he wants, which makes him truly happy. He is not someone to bow for someone else's desires.”
“People could never understand what it means to be part of a family like ours.” This time his mother spoke.
Your heart pounded with anger on your chest, you didn’t want to show them any weakness but it was becoming harder with each passing moment.
“You came to the party with our son right?” His mother spoke once again. “It was not difficult for us to track you down…” Your eyes narrowed. “No family, works in a grocery store and you are on scholarship.”
“I have a family…”
“Dead…”
If you could describe what you were seeing at that moment it was red, just red. Your whole self was full of anger, your heart was racing on your chest, while you were trying to calm yourself down.
This time Satoru’s time spoke. “You think he will thank you for this someday? For being the reason why he is wasting his potential.”
It was one after the other, one punch after another. You always felt you were a strong person, who didn’t let yourself bow down for anyone, but at that moment you were feeling like they threw you at the lions and there was nothing you could do.
You strongly closed your eyes, trying to stop any tear that was trying to come out.
“Leave…” A voice sounded in the room and you felt how your heart started to warm again, as if was coming back to life.

— Pinnacle [ tsukishima kei university au series ]
— and when i felt like i was an old cardigan ; tsukishima doesn’t know why he’s been thinking about you, about the time you got scolded by your mom at the parking lot—to be exact.
author’s notes : no mention of (y/n), written in second person pov, semi alternative universe, timeskip!tsukishima, college life, not proofread, english is not my first language
[ masterlist ] | [ ask daleelah go to box box 🐭 ]
The early morning chill was biting as Tsukishima and Yamaguchi started their practice. The university volleyball team had an intense session scheduled today, beginning with a few laps around campus as part of their physical strengthening routine. Tsukishima’s breath came out in visible puffs as he kept a steady pace, Yamaguchi running beside him.
“Have you sent her a message?” Yamaguchi asked, breaking the silence. Tsukishima didn’t need to ask who he was referring to.
“I told you, she said she’s on a holiday trip with her family,” Tsukishima replied, his mind flashing back to the conversation you had at the infirmary, where you adamantly refused to let the doctor give you permission to miss the exam because your mom has already planned a trip for your holiday.
Yamaguchi frowned, clearly not satisfied with that answer. “Yeah, but after seeing how her mother treated her, I bet she’s not enjoying any bit of that holiday.”
“That’s not for anyone to judge, Yamaguchi,” Tsukishima said, though his tone lacked conviction.
The two fell into silence again. It had been two weeks since the day he saw your mother scolding you in the parking lot. The memory of you forcing yourself to drink six sachets of ginseng tonic just to satisfy her still haunted him. Despite the cold air, a wave of warmth and worry spread through his chest. He wanted to ask you if it was necessary, if you were having a good time on your holiday, if you were really okay—but he didn’t. He swallowed those worries, not wanting to intrude on something so personal.
Yamaguchi slowed his pace, glancing at his friend. “It’s for you to decide, but I know you’ve been worried about her since that day, Tsukki.”
Tsukishima’s pace faltered, his steps slowing as Yamaguchi continued ahead, leaving him standing still on the track. His heart thudded in his chest—not from the exertion, but from the flood of emotions he had been keeping at bay. He didn’t want to admit it, but Yamaguchi was right. The image of you, standing in the parking lot, looking so defeated, had been stuck in his mind. And the way your mother treated you… it reminded him too much of how he had treated you in the lab—demanding, critical, never satisfied. It made him feel guilty, like he had contributed to your burden.
He exhaled deeply, watching the breath escape from his lips in a puff of white. The morning practice was far from over, but Tsukishima felt as if he was running in circles, stuck between wanting to reach out to you and the fear of making things worse.
As he resumed his run, his mind kept drifting back to you, and he couldn’t shake the feeling that maybe—just maybe—Yamaguchi was right. Maybe he should send that message after all.
After practice, Tsukishima and Yamaguchi walked together to get smoothies from Yamaguchi’s favorite store. The conversation was lighter now, shifting to the upcoming winter camp.
“The coach said we’ll have a nice winter camp in Okinawa in two days,” Yamaguchi said excitedly. “Can you believe it? Training on the beach, team bonding—it's going to be awesome.”
Tsukishima nodded, though his mind was elsewhere. “Yeah,”
They continued chatting as they waited in line, talking about the drills they’d do on the beach and the matches they might play against other teams during the camp. The excitement in Yamaguchi’s voice was contagious, and even Tsukishima felt a spark of anticipation for the camp.
When they finally took their orders and turned to leave the store, they stopped short—there you were, standing right behind them in line. You looked surprised and flustered to see them, and there was a brief moment of awkward silence.
“Hey, I didn’t know you were back from your holiday,” Yamaguchi said, breaking the silence with a cheerful grin.
Tsukishima’s eyes met yours, and he felt a rush of questions rise to his lips. He wanted to ask if you were okay, how the holiday had really been, if your mother had eased up on you—but he held back, simply watching you instead.
You smiled awkwardly and bowed your head politely to greet them as your seniors. “My holiday trip just ended two days ago, and I decided to come back to the dorm as fast as I could.”
“Why? Did you not enjoy it?” Yamaguchi asked innocently, his curiosity genuine. But before you could answer, Tsukishima discreetly stepped on Yamaguchi’s foot, silently urging him to stop pushing further. Yamaguchi winced but got the message, quickly falling silent.
You let out a small, forced chuckle, trying to mask your true feelings. “No, it was fine. It’s just that my parents want me to join the winter class with Professor Regenstein,” you explained, your eyes flickering to Tsukishima’s, searching for a reaction.
At this, Tsukishima’s gaze sharpened. “Professor Regenstein from the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology department?”
You nodded. “Yes, that’s the one.”
Tsukishima’s expression softened slightly, impressed. “He’s a great professor. You’ll get a lot of insight from his class.”
You nodded, though your smile didn’t quite reach your eyes. “Yeah, that’s what my parents said.”
There was a brief silence, the air between you filled with unspoken words. Tsukishima could see the exhaustion in your eyes, the weight you were carrying from your holiday. He wanted to say something—anything—that might ease that burden, but he didn’t know where to start.
Yamaguchi, sensing the tension, jumped in again, this time with a lighter tone. “Well, it’s good to see you back! Maybe we can all grab lunch before we leave for winter camp.”
You blinked in confusion, tilting your head slightly. “Winter camp? What do you mean?”
Yamaguchi smiled, nodding enthusiastically. “Yeah, the volleyball team is heading to Okinawa for winter camp in two days. It’s going to be great—training on the beach, team bonding, all that fun stuff.”
Your smile faltered, a slight drop in your expression as his words sank in. “Oh, I see… that sounds… exciting.”
Tsukishima noticed the subtle shift in your demeanor, his own expression softening. He could see the disappointment you were trying to hide, the way your shoulders tensed slightly at the news.
Yamaguchi, still oblivious, continued with a grin, “Yeah, it’ll be a nice change of pace. But hey, how about we grab lunch tomorrow around noon before we leave?”
You forced a smile, nodding even though your mind was elsewhere. “Yeah, sure. Noon sounds good.”
Tsukishima watched you closely, feeling a pang of guilt that he couldn’t quite place. “Don’t worry, I’ll text you the time and place later.” He wanted to say something to reassure you, but the words caught in his throat. Instead, he just offered you a small, understanding smile as they began to leave the shop.
As they walked out, Tsukishima couldn’t shake the feeling that he should have said more. He felt conflicted, torn between wanting to keep his distance and wanting to be there for you. The memory of your strained expression lingered in his mind, and he knew he wouldn’t be able to stop thinking about it anytime soon.

synopsis: you and ritsu have had a strange friendship/acquaintanceship for years. you invited her to take a two-week getaway with you, as you had planned to go with a different friend, but they bailed on you unexpectedly. you didn’t want to go by yourself so you decided to invite your childhood friend ritsu sohma.
(a/n: this is some pure self indulgent, tooth-rotting fluff. i love ritsu so much, she’s so underrated. also yes, in this au ritsu is trans femme and uses she/her pronouns. enjoy! ♡)

“Thank you so much for taking my dear Ritsu to Okinawa. I’m sure she’ll enjoy her time there.” Okami said to you with a bow.
“Of course, Okami. Any time.” You responded with a smile.
Ritsu stood off to the side while you spoke with her mother, festering in her discomfort that she's going to have to share a confined space with you for over 40 hours and have to endure the awkward tension that you two mutually shared. But it wasn’t just the road trip there to Okinawa, oh no; you two were bound to spend an entire two weeks together in a shared space.
(flashback) “Ritsu! Come here, Y/n is on the phone!” Her mother called from the front hall of their home. Ritsu rushed down quicker than she'd like to admit. “Yes? What is it?” “Y/n is wondering if you would like to join them on a little trip tomorrow!” Okami beamed. “O-of course I would!” Ritsu chirped enthusiastically. “Splendid! You hear that, Y/n? She said yes!” She nearly squealed into the speaker. “All right. I'll give you to her now. It was nice catching up with you!” Okami says to you before handing Ritsu the phone. “H-hello?” Ritsu stuttered into the phone. “Hi, Ritsu~” You greeted her in a playful flirting manner. “Hey, how are you?” Ritsu asked. “Exhausted from packing. What about you, Riichan?” You inquired back to her. “Oh, I’m good now that I’m talking to you.” She said with a smile you could almost hear through your receiver. “So, tonight your task is to pack two weeks' worth of clothes. Got that, Ritsu?” It was at that moment Ritsu’s eyes enlarged to be akin to the size of bottle caps. She could hear a pin drop. “Ritsu, are you there? Ritsu!” You call out over the receiver worriedly. “Huh? Oh, I’m so sorry! I didn’t mean to go quiet on you!” She apologised frantically. You could only laugh softly over the phone. “It’s okay. Did your mother not… tell you the duration of the trip?” “No, she just asked me if I wanted to go; nothing about the duration of it!” She nearly shouted. “Huh… well, I understand if you don’t want to go. Take your time in making this decision, Ritsu. I’ll be by your place tomorrow morning at 11.” You tell her calmly. “Alright. I’ll talk with my mother then.” Ritsu said. “Goodnight, Y/n-san.” She bid. “Goodnight, Riichan.” You chuckled before she hung up. Ritsu placed the phone on its holder before immediately zooming down the hall to find her mother. She found Okami in her bedroom and slammed the door open with a scream of, “MOTHER!!!” The older woman whipped around quickly with a hand to her chest like she almost had a heart attack. “For god’s sake Ritsu! What on earth was that about?!” She questioned, her voice raised. “You never told me how long Y/n’s trip to Okinawa was going to be!” She shrieked. “Well, it’s too late to turn back now. Y/n has no one else to spend these two weeks with. Their friend bailed on them at the last minute, and they already paid for two people to do activities with them.” Okami explained. “But—“ Ritsu began. “No buts, except yours in your room, packing your suitcase.” Okami tutted. “Ohhhh!” Ritsu wailed, stomping her way to her room, though accidentally bumping into someone along the way and apologising to them profusely. Ritsu hardly slept a wink that night, for the thought of spending the next few weeks with you disallowed her from falling asleep. (end of flashback)
“Ritsu, come on honey it’s time for you to go now.” Okami beckons for her daughter to get in the car you now closed the trunk too, once you and her bags were loaded into it.
Ritsu begrudgingly gets into the passenger seat of your car, and soon you were off on your way to Okinawa.
For a long while, you both remained silent. No one says a single word and Ritsu stares out of her window.
Finally, you find yourself fed up with the silence and decide to at least play some music so there's some different sound besides the whirring of your car’s tires along the road and the wind howling around your car. You decide to hook up your music streaming service from your phone to the car’s radio, and the first song that plays is “we fell in love in october” by girl in red.
Ritsu’s head picks up and she turns to look at you with a look of awe. “I love girl in red!” She giggled, which was a delightful sound that you adored. Whilst you couldn't really look at her, as you had to concentrate on driving, you could imagine her sweet smile. Soon she started singing the song playing. She was no singer, but damn it all you would still listen to her tone-deaf voice forever if you could.
A few girl in red (as well as Taylor Swift and some songs from artists you enjoy) later, Ritsu exhausted her voice and fell asleep.
You didn't notice it until you'd stopped at a gas station. You looked over at her slumbering form to your left.
Her glossy lips were parted slightly, and her strawberry-blonde hair glowed in the golden rays of the sunset. Her head was leaning against the car window and tilted down slightly.
You then realised you were staring. You got out of the car and did what needed to be done, before coming back into the car.
Ritsu had woken up, and she was rubbing her eyes with her knuckles sleepily. “Sorry, I fell asleep.” She mumbled.
“It’s alright. We’ll be stopping for the night soon.” You tell her, looking at the GPS which is telling that you are near a 24-hour rest stop in Nagaokakyo, just outside of Kyoto.
“Wait, so… we’re- sleeping in the car?” Ritsu stammered after peeking at the GPS.
“Yeah. I got a futon and pillows back there. I'll roll ‘em out before bedtime once we have stopped.” You explained. “We can change and brush our teeth and stuff in the bathrooms there. We'll have dinner once we arrive.”
Ritsu looked out the window with an uneasy expression.
“What’s wrong?” You asked, taking a glance at her through the rearview mirror.
“What? I-It's nothing! I'm sorry for worrying you! It’s just-“ She tried coming up with an excuse but you spoke before she could come up with something.
“It’s just for three nights. Then afterward, you’ll be in your own bed. Okay?” You reassure her. “I did this because hotels are expensive, and I wanted to be able to do more activities than blow all my money on hotel expenses. Besides, we can get on the road faster and we’re not risking losing valuables.” You pointed out to her.
“Mmm… I guess you're right about that…” Ritsu mumbled admittedly.
After dinner (rice balls with a filling you had premade, while watching the sunset from the roof of your van), you go to the restrooms of the stop, put on your pajamas, and do whatever else you need to get ready for bed. When you get back to the van, you find Ritsu wearing the cutest little strawberry pajama set, and her long and light auburn locks are tied up in a bun held by a scrunchie. “I love your pajamas, Riichan!” You compliment her.
Her cheeks dusted a sweet rosy pink. “Really? Th-Thank you, Y/n-san…” She stuttered, rubbing her forearm.
“Mhm! You look so cute in them!” You grinned, unbeknownst to the effect it would have on your friend.
Her blush grew more intense. One hand came up to make a pitiful attempt at hiding it. A sheepish smile appeared on her delicate lips and she gripped the hem of her top with her other hand.
You catch yourself staring again, and you look off to the side. “Alright, let's just uh- let's just get the futon set up.” You murmur in suggestion.
“Yeah, yeah. That's a good idea.” She giggled.
“Yeah?” You said.
“Yeah.” She responded.
“Okay?”
“Okay.”
(random middle-of-story a/n: i have the fault in our stars brainrot ok sue me-)
After—whatever the hell that was—you had a laugh and got to work setting up the back of your car so you could both sleep for the night.
You unrolled the futon and Ritsu put the pillows and blanket on it. You crawl onto the futon after Ritsu.
Once you’d both gotten in the van, Ritsu slipped her shoes off, then collapsed face first in your shared bed. She was zonked basically the moment her head collided with the cool pillow.
It was a quite hilarious sight for you. After your little moment of mentally chortling at the predicament, you joined Ritsu in bed, facing away from the middle of the bed just as she was, almost like you were in an awkward relationship with her—oh that's right; that's exactly what was going on here.
(another random a/n: the author was feeling like a salty, cranky, crabby little oscar the grouch, who thought it was necessary to add a bit of snark into this segment. now back to our regularly scheduled programming.)
“Alright, goodnight, Riichan.” You said to her before closing the trunk so no bugs, weirdos, or critters could get in.
(time skip to your first morning at the hotel since the author is too lazy to write the rest of the drive. But, to put it simple and clean, the same thing that happened above happened the next two days of the drive; you sit in silence and occasionally turn on some music, Ritsu takes a nap, and you sleep in the car at a truck stop and have some homemade rice balls and you sleep on the futon in the car.)
Ritsu walked out onto the engawa at the back of the inn, the early morning sky gazing back at her. She shed her robe so she was stark naked.
The cool air of the early autumn caused goosebumps to sprout all along her body like daisies in the meadow after winter.
Your voice came from behind her suddenly, startling her. “I'm sorry?” She said.
“I was admiring the view.” You said.
“Oh, yeah. It's a nice sunrise. The sky is so pretty—” She began before you cut her off.
“I don't mean just the sunrise. You are the quite spectacle yourself.” You chuckled.
She whipped around with a face full of shock. “Eh?!” She sounded in confusion.
“You’re beautiful, Riichan.” You put it bluntly.
“I…” She mumbled, her sage green eyes wide with amazement.
“Come on, let's get in the water.” You suggest, changing the subject and waving your hand in a ‘follow me’ motion.
She lingered reluctantly on the engawa while you got settled in the hot water. You then look back at her.
“What's the matter?” You asked.
“You… meant that?” Ritsu questioned hushedly, tears welled up at the corners of her eyes.
Ah, she was feeling insecure. “Of course I do, Riichan. Now, come on. You must be cold just standing there naked.” You reassured her with a smile.
“R-right. Sorry.” She apologized, promptly stepping into the steaming water of the hot spring.
You hold out your hand to help her in, wanting to be chivalrous to her.
She took your hand reluctantly as she wobbily sat herself down on a rock in the water. After a minute, you noticed she had a far-off look in her eyes.
“Something on your mind?” You inquired her with genuine curiosity.
“Huh? Oh! I'm sorry! Was I spacing out? Am I really that bad of a travel companion that I'm spacing out on you?” She asked worriedly.
“No, I just wanna know… are you okay?” You questioned.
“I'm sorry! I'm sorry I'm making you waste your time worrying about me—” Ritsu shrieked, but you cut her off by placing a hand on her mouth. It was early in the morning and the last thing you needed was Ritsu shrieking and waking up the other guests at the hotel. Ritsu looked down at your hand on her mouth with wide eyes.
Once you've deemed her calm enough to remain quiet for you to say what you want to say, you take your hand away from her mouth. “Ritsu, you've been excellent company for me. Don't worry that pretty head of yours so much, okay?” You reassured her.
Her face changed from gobsmacked to a tearful smile. “This is why I love you. You're always so kind to me. Even though really, I don't deserve such kindness from someone like you.” She sniveled.
“What do you mean? Of course you deserve to be treated kindly! Don't you say such self-deprecating things about yourself because damn it all—!” You scolded as quietly as you could before finally realising what she said. “Wait… you love me? Like… in the more-than-friends kind of love me?” You questioned.
“Yes… I do. I always have.” She admitted sheepishly. You had an unreadable expression of either thought or revolt on your face—it was the latter, according to Ritsu, at least—“I'm sorry! You must not like me back in that way! If that's the case, I'll never mention it again! We can even cut con—” She babbled on before you cut her off with a kiss.
“I hope that answers your question.” You panted after pulling away. Unfortunately for you, it didn't. “I've… also liked you in that way for a long time. I've just… never found the right time or words or actions to tell you how I feel. I didn't even think you would like me like that.” You confessed, looking down at your bare thighs, the view of them distorted and abstracted by the ripples of the springwater.
“Y/n-san...” Ritsu whispered, cupping your cheek with a delicate hand of hers, having your head lift back up to look her in the eye. “I mean it; I love you.” She persisted with a pout on her face, her brows scrunched together.
You chortle at the adorable expression. “My stubborn girl.” (translation: ”I love you too.”) You leaned forward in your spot to push her long locks behind her ear and kiss her cheek. Yeah, you thought to yourself, the rest of this trip is gonna be great with her by my side. girl in red was right; we fell in love in October. And she is my girl now.

Snake Wines and Beer Steins*: An Anthropology of West Rukongai
* I learned this morning that is not a stein, but I’m keeping it for the assonance!
Really down the rabbithole with this episode and cannot put it down, but this cap is such a completely fascinating glimpse at potential Rukongai cultures and trade routes!
The first thing that caught my eye, naturally, was the snake, which when this scene first came up I thought was just a completely undressed snake on a plate. But when I went to take the cap, no! It’s a snake in liquid! Which led me to believe it was a pickled snake.
But then my co-blogger brought up snake wine, which it definitely is. According to Wikipedia, the liquid part of habushu, snake sake from the Ryukyu Islands (Okinawa), is mixed with herbs and honey, which is why it has a yellow tint. The Habu snake is a pit viper viewed as both a menace (it can launch itself and bite you from pretty far away) and as a god, bestowing health and virility. (Contemporary Ryukyuan/Okinawan literature sometimes includes habu snakes as an anti-colonial metaphor, such as Medoruma Shun’s 1999 short story, “Hope.”)
1. Increased Importance of Medicinal Food vs. Sustenance Food in Rukongai
Makes all the sense in the world to me that Rukongai would have virility wine. If you don’t need to eat to survive, I imagine the value of virility wine is quite high. ...I mean, what else is there to do out there?
2. Climate Profiles Suggest Far-Reaching Trade Networks
Because the Gate Guardian who shows up in this episode is Jidanbou, this means the village Oomaeda encounters is in West Rukongai somewhere—probably close to the gates, since Soi Fon expected him back after a day trip. (But per the Bount arc, Renji can apparently run to the ass-end of Rukongai to the Seireitei and back in a few hours, so there’s some wiggle room here.)
Nothing we’ve seen from West Rukongai suggests it’s climatologically similar to the Ryukyu Islands (or to southeast Asia, where similar pit vipers live), which are subtropical. Soul Society always gives the impression of being fairly temperate. At least, it snows in the Seireitei without mountain elevations being involved (Winter Fireworks chapter). West Rukongai is where Hokutan is, the mountains where Kaien and Rukia trained, which gave the impression of being pretty temperate. West Rukongai is also where Junrinan is—where Hitsugaya and Hinamori are from. Judging by Hitsugaya’s behavior in the Beach Episode, if Junrinan was anything like the Ryukyu Islands, he’d have perished long ago.
So… DID THEY TRADE FOR IT. DID THEY GET THE SNAKE WINE FROM ELSEWHERE. How far away is that elsewhere? How many different owners’ hands did it pass through to make it to this village, to this feast? Snake wine is intended to age fairly substantially, which in Rukongai could mean quite a bit of time. How old is this snake wine? What is its provenance?? Potential evidence of complex and far-reaching patterns of trade and shared ascriptions of value, is what I’m saying. snake wine snake wine snake wine
In my mind, I’ve mostly transposed Japan over Soul Society and imagine North Rukongai as northern Japan, West Rukongai as western Japan, etc. Except in my mind sometimes south is southern Japan and sometimes it’s northern New Mexico lol. East Rukongai in my mind is "idk, New Jersey?" Maybe the snake wine is from the version of southern Rukongai where Pirate AU Soi Fon lives, dominating the high seas…
3. Evidence of Glassworking and Alcohol Production Characteristic of the late 19th/early 20th Centuries
[For reference, Soul Society is typically described as being similar to the Edo Period of Japanese history, which spanned the 17th-19th centuries.]
The second standout beverage here is the beer stein, which I called a stein and then learned that the original beer steins came from the Bubonic Plague era and had tops, for plague reasons, and were made out of wood and leather and then pewter. What do I know, I don’t drink, LOL.
That is more technically a ten-sided handled glass pint, which became popular in the early half of the 20th century in England, though some sources place it in Austria a few decades earlier. Drinking beer out of various forms of glass predates that, and there was a whole period of ceramic drinkware and trade with China and Japan thrown in the centuries between, blah blah. But two things are probably true if there’s a glass beer mug:
1. Glassworking has developed enough to make this workable/not a holy pain, production-wise. But again, this is Rukongai—maybe this is the one mug in all existence in West Rukongai and not something intended for mass production. They’re toasting the once-in-a-lifetime event of a Gotei captain slumming it with them, after all. Heck, maybe they got it from the Seireitei, which definitely has more than one of these, though after a cursory look at two places I thought they’d appear, neither does. LOL. Welp.
2. Beer production has developed enough that it’s filtered and there’s not unseemly gunk floating around in it (made obvious by the fact that you’re drinking it out of a clear glass mug). This could mean Rukongai is pretty with the times with is alcohol production.
Not that that begins to touch why ten-sided handled glass pints from late 19th/early 20th century England and/or Austria are in West Rukongai, a place less likely to have them than the Seireitei, where weird anachronistic stuff seems like it would come into circulation with more regularity.
I love the idea that even if souls don’t remember their previous lives, there’s still imprints and rogue dreams and strange images floating around in their heads, their muscle memories. But like, specifically the version where sometimes the rogue dream is just a gigantic, bomb-ass cup that Some Guy then proceeds to spend his entire afterlife re-developing. He is a VISIONARY. A GENIUS. A rare mind inventing something the likes of which have never been seen is this world but that exist in his mind so clearly it is as though he has seen it in his hands before!!
#shinigamiology#this isn't even shinigamiology because it's not about shinigami but same vibe (i'm sure rukongai LOVES that attitude lololol)#rukongai#bleach worldbuilding#bleach anime#bleach filler#no brain just bleach

August 2006
“Suguru, are you sure about this?” You ask, worried about the well-being of your lover as he packs his belongings in his suitcase.
It had been a month since your first time with him, and ever since then, you two have been inseparable. Even with his special mission given to him by his superior -- a man named Yaga-- he still managed to find time for you in the chaos. He didn’t go into much detail about his mission--only that he and Gojo had to watch over some young girl for a while until the time was right. He mentioned it was a dangerous task but he assured you that everything was going to be fine in the end.
He was packing for an unexpected trip to Okinawa, slightly in a rush as he said it was important that they make it there as soon as possible. You didn’t want him to go, but you understood this was necessary and crucial to his own philosophy of helping others. You didn’t want to get in the way of his values. It was one of the many things you loved about him.
“I’ll only be gone for about a day or so, sweetheart.” He shuts his suitcase and zips it up, moving off the bed, “I don’t want to leave you behind but I’ll be safe. I promise.”
He sets the case by the front door and turns back to you, studying you closely. He could tell you were anxious about him leaving. You had discussed a myriad of things with him in the last few months. The two of you talked about moving in together and taking your relationship to the next level. He was excited about taking the next step with you. He knew deep down you were his one and only. Part of him didn’t want to leave, but this was his duty. It’ll just be a day, he told himself.
“I’ll call you when we land, okay?”
You cross your arms and nod. You had an off feeling about this whole situation but you kept it inside, not wanting to deter him from doing what he wants to do. Silently, Suguru steps close and wraps his arms around you, pulling you into a warm embrace. He holds you as if he’s never going to see you again and you make your heart twist. You wanted to cry, but you couldn’t bring yourself to do it in front of him. Not like this. Instead, you press your face into his chest and take in the scent of that eucalyptus cologne you’ve grown to love so much.
Cradling your head close, he sighs, “Don’t worry about me too much, alright? Gojo and I are a good team. We’ll handle this situation and return as soon as possible.”
“Okay, Sugu. Just, be safe.” You whisper, clutching his shirt tightly.
He smiles softly, “I will. I gotta get going now.”
He presses a final kiss to your lips before slowly releasing you much to your dismay. He then grabs his bag and opens the door in front of him to take his leave. He steps out into the hallway and you lean against the door frame, watching as he starts to make his way towards the elevator. He stops in front of it and you hear the familiar ding of the doors sliding open. For a moment, he turns to you and gives you a brisk wave, a large grin plastered over his face.
“See ya later, (y/n)! I love you.”
Part of you was screaming to run to the elevator, to stop him from ever getting on that plane, and to beg him to stay with you. A sense of dread hung in the air ever since he told you about this mission and you couldn’t quite explain why you felt this way. Maybe you were overthinking again like you always do. You trusted Suguru and with Gojo by his side, everything was bound to go their way. Shoving these distraught thoughts in your subconscious, you smile back to hide the pain.
“Love you too, Sugu. Be careful.”
“Always, baby.”
Suguru gives you one last wave and steps out of your vision into the elevator. As the doors slide shut, you silently step back into your own little box and close the door behind you.
That was the last time you ever saw him.
---------
August 2016
It had been nine years since Suguru left behind the heinous world of Jujutsu sorcery and embraced the dark path of being a curse user. He hadn’t seen the people he called ‘friends’ then in years. His last encounter with Gojo was permanently etched into his memory. He tried hard to forget about that time in his life, as it was what he considered one of his worst. Instead, he decided to focus on the present and his chosen family he’d come to care for. Being a father of two adopted girls wasn’t easy after all.
The two dragged him everywhere and he happily follows along, granting their every wish. Today, they begged him to visit Tokyo and he couldn’t say no. Visiting his old stomping grounds wasn’t such a bad idea. While the girls shopped around Shinjuku, Suguru took it upon himself to enjoy today’s weather at the park he visited long ago. It was a beautiful summer’s day and he needed a stroll to clear his mind, as he was becoming irritated with the sheer amount of people out and about today.
He loathed these people. If he had the choice, he would’ve stayed back at the temple but he didn’t want to keep Mimiko and Nanako from having a good summer. They were teenagers and he felt it was best they received a childhood that he didn’t get to experience around this age. After walking through the grassy pathways of the busy garden, Suguru takes a break at a nearby bench. He got a few glances from people due to his Buddhist attire but he ignored them, not wanting to ruin his and his daughters’ day with his temper.
To take his mind off the bubbling anger in his chest, he looks over at the adjacent playground to observe the small children in the area. Their laughs of joy carried in the breeze and Suguru felt at peace as he studied them. Seeing them like this brought him back to a more peaceful time--August of 2006 with Satoru, Kuroi, and Riko.
He shakes his head at the thought, not wanting to dwell on it for too long. Silently, he people-watches, letting his sharp eyes scan around the large play area as if he were searching for something. Something to distract him and take his mind off that summer. His eyes dart from the jungle gym to the monkey bars before landing on the swings. Before he could turn his attention elsewhere, he freezes as if he’s seen a being more terrifying than any curse in the world.
I’ve seen this woman before. A long time ago…
It takes him a moment before he realizes who he’s laid eyes on but when he does, his heart sinks into his chest -- It’s you . There you were, after all this time, standing right in front of him by the swing set. The last time he saw you was the day he left for Okinawa and after that, he dropped all contact with you. The memories he had buried deep in his mind of you came flooding back in an instant -- the death of the Star Plasma vessel, the downward spiral, the worried texts, and calls, the unexpected visits to the Tokyo campus in search of him, the disregarded voicemails of you crying for him--all came back in a matter of seconds.
Before he could think, Suguru jumped out of his seat, fully prepared to approach you and pull you into a long overdue embrace--but once again, he was motionless. For a second, he completely forgot about every atrocity he’d committed up to this very moment. He’s not who he was before and he has a different set of views now. He despised people like you--at least that’s what he told himself. He’s the worst curse user to grace Jujutsu society in years.
He was starting to question himself. Did he really hate all non-curse users? Did he hate you? Was everything he’s done up to this point even worth it if you were able to make him falter like this? He sits back down and buries his face in his palms, these cursed thoughts of self-doubt making his blood boil.
He hated non-sorcerers. He hated you . He hated every person who couldn’t fit into his perfect world. You were no exception to this and the fact that you’re making him hesitant about his own ethics infuriated him. He needed to handle you now before you deviated him off the path he’s paved for himself. If his own parents weren’t exempt from his wrath, why should you be?
His mind flicks between the idea of putting an end to you and the time he’s spent with you when you were both young and careless. He reminisces deeply about the sugary sweet kisses you shared, your heavenly smile that made his heart skip a beat, the bashful exchanges of ‘I love you’ that he craved to hear, and finally, the passionate night he made love to you for the very first time. He couldn’t stand that you still had this effect on him after all this time.
“Mommy!”
Suguru lifts his head some at the call to see you still standing by the swings but this time, with a small child. You effortlessly lift them in your arms and twirl them around excitedly, holding them close as you speak to them.
“Yes, honey?”
“Is daddy cooking tonight? I want soba!” The child whines, playing with your hair gently.
You giggle and nod, patting their back, “He is! I’ll call him and let him know his little baby wants soba tonight, okay?”
Suguru bites his lower lip harshly at the sight and shoots up out of his seat, heading off in the opposite direction to avoid seeing anymore. He needed to get far from here before he loses himself pondering on what could’ve been had he reached out to you--to anyone--that summer. He couldn’t afford to stray away from his mission, not when he was so close to achieving that perfect world he’d set his mind on creating.
He would have to handle you another time.

yo! hope you're having ana awesome day
can i ask about your favorite Shinomitsu headcanons?
Hii, I hope you’re having an awesome day too! 🫶
Ohmygod I have so many;; Most of these will probably be related to one of my main modern/reincarnation AUs for them!! I hope that’s ok! 🙇
-
• Mitsuri loves to draw Shinobu! She thinks she’s the most wonderful and beautiful girl and quickly grows a habit of doodling her.
• Shinobu likes to stick to Mitsuri’s side during big social gatherings because she knows Mitsuri can get very overwhelmed.
• It took Shinobu a while to get used to Mitsuri’s physical affection, but she quickly grew to love her hugs and cuddling up with her. (Shinobu big spoon, I will take no criticism)
• When Mitsuri decided to confess her feelings to Shinobu (despite having told her she loves her the most on multiple occasions) she went to Obanai and Kyojuro for advice- it all ended up being kind of a mess.
• Shinobu’s crush on Mitsuri was incredibly obvious, to the point where even Giyuu caught onto it and pointed it out. Mitsuri was oblivious to the entire thing.
• Their first meeting was when Shinobu and her family went on a trip to Okinawa, Shinobu only asked her for directions but somehow Shinobu took up a semipermanent residence in Mitsuri’s mind. She talked about “the pretty girl from Tokyo” for quite a while.
• Shinobu is a med student and she often stays up late to study and work on things, Mitsuri makes sure she sleeps enough and cooks for her sometimes as Shinobu can forget to make herself food when she’s absorbed in her work.
• Shinobu is surprisingly good at crane games and has gotten Mitsuri a lot of cute plushies through them.
• Mitsuri has given Shinobu countless love letters, Shinobu isn’t very good at writing that sort of thing but she has given a few in return. Mitsuri cherishes them.
• Mitsuri talks a lot and Shinobu gladly listens, she loves listening to Mitsuri ramble about whatever is on her mind.
• Shinobu actually likes to call Mitsuri “love” and “darling”, but only when they’re alone. It always makes Mitsuri flustered and her heart skips a beat.
• Mitsuri sends Shinobu EVERY cat video she finds, Shinobu thinks they’re silly but enjoys them nonetheless.
• Mitsuri: *showing Shinobu a picture of two cats* “they’re in love” Shinobu: “us, lol” Mitsuri: “Shinobu! So bold!!”
• Shinobu has frequent nightmares that keep her up at night, Mitsuri will hug her and help her calm down. They usually end up falling asleep cuddling. (Rare instance of Mitsuri big spoon)
-
Ok I gotta stop myself there or I’ll go on forever haha! Anyway I hope you enjoyed reading through some of my favourite silly HCs (even is some of them are incredibly me specific) <3

I've been letting Lillie and Buson age in Faraway Place but I just realized if I let little Trip grow older too, so he'll soon be another ten year old Trip... but he'd be an odd AU of himself because he'd stay as expressive and open, if still rather shy and more of a loner, as his younger self aaaand probably end up as naive and well-meaning as the average Ulternian. He needs one streetwise friend (Gold or Shamus) at all times, probably.
This would be a Trip who grew up in a very laid-back tropical island with virtually no crime and not even a single evil organization. It's a good thing they go back right to the time they were pulled from either way...
The pattern of his kariyushi is based on one from the Okinawa Pokemon Center! I referenced it from the Kariyushi Wear Pikachu plushie, fff.
#FarawayPlace#PokeAni#trainer Trip#Shuuti#Shootie#Pikachu#Pokemon#kariyushi#my colour art#my doodle#Trip#DWRP#Buson does not announce things like his birthdays both because his identity's supposed to be secret and he's not looking forward to#being called uncle by kids—don't make him feel old :T

no quirks au, soulmates, fluff
Izuku is no stranger to being described as plain and boring.
It's true enough—he's no runway model with his face full of freckles and unkempt bird's nest hair, and his hobbies tend toward nerdy things like comic books and behavioral psychology. He doesn't like overly spicy food, and he prefers the comfort of familiarity over spontaneity. He's also short and never without a t-shirt with a lame slogan on it, so he gets it.
What most people don't know, however, is that his plain boring-ness is a conscious choice on his part, due almost entirely to the words scrawled over his hipbone in neat, precise handwriting.
Don't worry—I like a little vanilla, too.
They'd been a pleasant surprise to wake up to on his thirteenth birthday—a couple years later than most people got them, but they were there—and he was excited to start being on the lookout for his destined other half.
Currently, at seventeen and enjoying the last week of summer break between terms, Izuku lightly traces his words as he stands in line with Shouto and Ochako waiting to buy ice cream. This summer has been a hot one, so they took a trip to Okinawa to enjoy the beach atmosphere. It's absolutely sweltering, though, so cold treats are their main objective before they hit the water.
"What kind are you guys getting?" Ochako asks, reading the offered flavors menu.
"I think I'm getting the strawberry shortcake pop," Shouto says.
"Ooh, that sounds yummy!" Izuku agrees. "You'll have to tell me how it is."
"You could get one too, you know." Shouto gives him the judgmental side eye. "You're not bound by soulmate law to only like vanilla, you know."
Izuku sticks his tongue out. "There's nothing wrong with liking vanilla!"
"But do you really like it?" Ochako asks, not for the first time. "Or are you just settling because your soulmate likes it?"
"You never try anything else, though!" she protests. "Maybe you'll find something you like even more if you just gave it the chance!"
"I do like it!"
"So it's okay for Shouto to dye his hair because his words say 'Nice dye job' but I can't like vanilla for the same reason?" Izuku raises his eyebrows at them pointedly, daring them to argue. To his satisfaction, both of his friends huff but give no further objections, and it's finally their turn to order.
Two guys are manning the stall, and Izuku finds his gaze stuck on the scowling blond one glaring into the distance like he would literally rather be anywhere else.
He looks young, not much older than Izuku—this is probably just his summer job while school is out—and Izuku isn't sure if that's better or worse than him being a hot college student out of his league.
He is decidedly not plain, with artfully styled spikes and a handful of piercings in each of his ears, and overall looking like he just came from a photo shoot. His admittedly impressive biceps bulge very nicely with his arms crossed over his chest like that, and Izuku has to swallow a couple times to make sure he isn't visibly drooling.
The other guy has dark hair and a wide grin as he greets them with a cheerful, "Heya! What can we getcha?"
"Um—" Izuku pulls his eyes away from Tall, Blond, and Fuck Me Daddy with a sheepish smile, hoping his cheeks aren't as red as they feel. "We'd like a strawberry shortcake pop, a bubblegum birthday cake swirl pop, and a vanilla cone, please!"
The blond turns to get their ice creams as the dark-haired guy rings them up, his grin turning wry.
"All these flavors and you go with vanilla?" he asks, eyeing Izuku. "Are you sure about that?"
Izuku pouts. Even strangers are on his case today! What's up with that?
"I am being attacked," he insists while Ochako and Shouto give him I Told You So looks.
"You sound like Kats over here," the guy laughs. He turns to his coworker as the blond brings over their ice cream. "Finally someone as boring as you, man! Maybe he's your soulmate."
Red eyes widen at his words, and Izuku blinks as he holds out the vanilla cone, his smirk softening.
The blond gives Izuku a slow once-over, red eyes dragging over him from bottom to top and finally meeting his gaze. His mouth curls up at the corner and Izuku wonders when he swallowed so many butterflies.
"It's a good flavor," he tells the hot blond pathetically, but he stands by it, darn it!
"Don't worry—I like a little vanilla, too."
There's a beat before his friends realize what just happened and start yelling at him, but Izuku barely hears them. He just lets a smile take over as he takes his ice cream from his soulmate.
"I'm Izuku," he says, uncaring of the blush he knows is obvious.
"Katsuki," his soulmate replies. The cocky smirk returns as he asks, "Wanna ditch these losers and share that cone on the boardwalk?"
"Get it, Izu!" Ochako screeches in his ear, shaking him. "We'll meet you later to head back. Be safe and don't do anything I wouldn't do!"
"Man, what kind of luck is this?" the dark-haired guy says. "Second day on the job and you meet your soulmate? Unfair!"
"He's got a friend," Katsuki says as he exits the stall, immediately taking Izuku's hand. He gestures to Shouto, who blinks. "Try your luck with him."
The dark-haired guy turns to Shouto, giving him his own once over before grinning again. "Nice dye job."
Shouto's eyes widen and Izuku covers his mouth to smother his laugh, sharing a look with Ochako because no way.
"This is karma getting back at me for making fun of vanilla ice cream, isn't it," he says, staring at his soulmate, and Izuku does laugh then at the flabbergasted look the dark-haired guy gives him.
"Told ya," Katsuki says, smug, and drags Izuku off toward the beach. Izuku's giggles trail off and he presses close to Katsuki's side, giddy when Katsuki's hand slips around his waist.
"So," he starts, looking up at his soulmate. "Who's your favorite superhero?"

Paper Planes & Letters
Based off this list: 50 date idea
"I'm jealous of the rain," you read the letter you just received aloud. You turn it over after noticing the letter was written on the back
"I'm jealous of the rain," you read the letter you just received aloud. Shaking your head smiling amused, you turn it over after noticing the letter was written on the back—the paper was from one of the jazz albums you shared with the sender. “At least he remembered,” you murmur folding the message back up. Grabbing the nearest camera off the shelf before picking up the keys off the table by your front door, you head out to interview an old friend at a Parisian cafe. Elsewhere, a rather bright-eyed Argentine athlete waits for you with a hot cafe au lait. It’s been a few years since you last saw him on the beach courts of Rio. An acquaintance of yours, Hinata Shoyo, introduced you too. Honestly both of them were surprised you spoke some, not a lot, but some Japanese. You spoke to the briefly about how your neighbor growing up was of Japanese decent and though Portuguese was spoken outside the home, they spoke primarily Japanese inside. Regardless, after receiving the invitation to a cafe au lait with said Argentinian Olympian, you chose to show up in jeans and an old familiar ivory jersey he let you keep once. “Hello Tooru,” you greet with a smile, pulling aside the chair next to him. Your camera is placed on the table. “How have you been?” “I’ve been well, glad you got my letter,” he smiles. “I was surprised you remembered my address,” you chuckle. “So, are you excited to be representing team Argentina?” “Excited is an understatement,” he answers. Then he glances at the camera. “Are you here on assignment?” “I am,” you begin. “But I’m ok with catching up with an old friend, well.. we were…” “A little more than that back then, no?” You hum and nod. “Those were fun days. Now you’re a professional for sure. I’m still a photojournalist set to capture the Olympics biggest moments.” …in a few days, you do exactly that. Okinawa Tooru, 28 years old now, stands on the medal podium with the rest of his team. He spots you in the media crowd when his new country’s anthem plays. Your camera never leaves his gaze and the images of him both setting the match point and the one of him pressing a palm over his heart surprises you in terms of popularity amongst the fans. The night before the closing ceremonies, you’re called by him to join him for some desserts in the Olympic Village. After passing through security, you see he waits for you there, walking side by side with you to a communal kitchen. “Proud of you Oikawa-san,” you smile when he hands you a chocolate glazed croissant. He smirks saying it was not a big deal, “but having you there watching me? YN, that was the best moment for me.” You allow his words to sink in and you take a bite of your croissant. “I think a long over-due trip to Buenos Aires is in my future. Maybe you won’t be jealous of the rain next time.” Okinawa blinks and his cheeks are a slightly pink color as he mutters, “I missed you too.”

Riku Mido
Part 13 of Universe 1 of my Swap AU. Please read that post before progressing!
Riku Mido - The spoiled rotten youngest son of the Mido family, Riku has never been expected to do anything of particular greatness in his life aside from simply existing. His older brothers both excelled past anything Riku could manage, and besides, with as much wealth and power as he was given at birth, he would never have to try to live an easy and simple life. It was something he was told explicitly from the moment he could understand spoken words, and Riku completely bought into it. Practically anything he wanted, he could have, and so after reading a few books, he requested to accompany his parents and brothers on trips to their various hotel locations around the world. His love for literature, adventure stories especially, drew him in, and he wanted to see the entire world and more. He was restricted to hotel property, of course, and everyone there was still held to the Mido family standards, but it was still seeing the world, wasn't it? He could go on specially monitored and curated "adventures" where nothing would ever happen to him and it would basically be the same as adventuring in the books, wouldn't it?
Initially, he thought as much, but as he grew older and saw more of the same things over and over, his love for adventure and travel died little by little. There was no magic to life, no passion in what he did, and no goals. He loved his family and all that they did for him, and they would always make time for him if he wanted them to, but it did nothing. He was just empty. Aimless. And what do rich people do when they're bored? They party, they socialize, and they do whatever seems like it can give them temporary satisfaction before the inanity of their life snatches it back. Riku did just that, growing into the superficiality of that world so well that after a while, it felt like that's truly all life ever could be.
But then he, by complete accident, was introduced to the world of idols. It was something some of the girls that hung around him liked to talk about (and they liked to talk about other things too, like how handsome he was or how irresistible his eyes were, though, strangely, they never seemed just satisfied when he thanked them for the compliments and moved on), and he thought it would be fun to attend one of those concerts. If he liked it, then maybe he could find something to entertain him. If he didn't, it was just a few hours put to waste in good company. He could hardly even consider that a waste.
The concert was for a group named TRIGGER, hot as the sun and standing before an entire concert hall filled to the brim with fans. Torao Kujo, Haruka Yaotome, and Tamaki Tsunashi, three of the handsomest men in Japan with the perfect voices to match. Riku settled into his seat, watched, and...well. He was entranced. He'd never been to a concert before, and watching these three dance in front of him, singing their hearts out, ignited a new love in him. He decided to become a fan of TRIGGER's overnight, to soak in who the performers were to see how they were able to smile so effortlessly, and…
He discovered that none of them valued family.
Haruka was recorded several times on blogs talking poorly about his father, the one funding his entire career. Torao was apparently adopted from a family that is completely fine, and he was adopted by choice. Tamaki abandoned his poor family in Okinawa and, to add salt to the wound, pretended they weren't even his family. He claimed that he was close to the richer, prettier part of his family.
After all that his family had done for him, and with how important Riku thought family was, he couldn't let it slide. He couldn't let TRIGGER keep taking advantage of their families so callously with such carefree smiles. And when Ryo Tsukumo came by, smiling with an offer that he could personally help in knocking down TRIGGER a few pegs while also enjoying life as an idol himself, he couldn't say no.

i literally only know kazumaji from this list so i've got:
honeymoon by ohnoitsobasan - oneshot sickfic, silly banter (majima gets quite out of it haha)
home or: how i learned to stop worrying and love the children by oredatte - a spin on yakuza 3 where none of the plot actually happens, rather majima takes a trip down to live with kiryu and the kids in okinawa and they figure some things out
the secret room by bluephoenix101 - kiryu and majima get trapped together in a magical room and to get out they have to let out their feelings ooooo~
a not so regular family by jaunie - taking a hard left into the parental AUs again, where none of the games' plots really happen... at all? instead it's just kiryu and majima raising their kids haruka and daigo! *wait my brain blanked i forgot you said finished LMAO this one is still ongoing but, each chapter is a standalone "episode" so it's not like you're left with huge cliffhangers.
knock out by itsybitsylemonsqueezy - another oneshot sickfic, with majima (and a bit of haruka hehe) caring for kiryu. it's just really sweet and still a top tier pick when i'm feeling crummy <3
uhh i have like a ton of bookmarks on my actual ao3 (squishylemonbubbles) and i don't mind anyone taking a peek 'cause it's all out there public HAH but i will say, mind the smut, that makes up a large chunk of my bookmarks at the moment whoopsie. if you do go poking you might want to filter out the explicit.
i'm also still only in yakuza 3 at the moment so i don't have much featuring characters and events from past that point. (a little bit of why there's so much smut - it's not often tied down to the timeline :P)
Does anyone have some good finished baroaso, ushioi, oikage, bokuroo, kurotsukki, gladnis, kazumaji, vashwood, aokise, or todobaku fics to rec where the main ship is mostly healthy/functional or at least gets better as the story goes?
It doesn't need to follow canon closely, and I'll read pretty much anything as long as it's not very ooc and doesn't have a bad or sad ending. Thanks!! 🖤
#squishytalk#kazumaji#just keeping this list simple and fluffy hehe#there's a lot more that i love dearly#but a fair few of them get heavy and also often have sex scenes which idk if you're looking for

🌁Escape from the city and follow the sun ☀️
( part 2 of Okinawa trip AU)
.......
She knew her Dad planned the vacation to give her a break but she knew deep down he just wanted a new scenery just for a little bit . When he offered she instantly accepted , maybe they would make some good memories for her to look back in the future .
She was excited to tell the rest of her friends about the trip , and she wasn't expecting Robby having an interest of Okinawa . Guessing her father and Robby had that connection of the Myagi Do History . It was cute how he was rambling telling her and Demetri fun facts .
And When Robby had stayed for dinner he wanted tell Sam more of what he had learned . She was more than happy when Dad had asked Robby if he wanted come .
..... .....
" Robby would you like to come with us ? "
He knew his mouth was hanging open , the question surprised him . He wanted to say yes but he also knew that the trip was only for Mr. LaRusso and Sam .
" That would be awesome but I don't want to intrude and Mr. LaRusso you planned it for you and Sam . "
" Well I want you to go with us and I know Sam wouldn't mind . Your part of the family Robby, you know that . And Don't worry about Johnny, I will talk to him . So what do you say ? "
His heart always felt warmed when Mr.Larusso would remind him , He was like another Dad . He knew there was times he had to catch himself to not call him Dad . It Didn't help now that Mr . LaRusso and his actual dad were dating . Looking at Sam smiling at him encouraging him to accept , he gives them both a smile .
" I would love to , Thank you . "
And if he hugged Mr.Larusso longer than he intended and thought he could live with two dads for all his life nobody needed to know .
...... ..... ...... ...... ..
They were all at the dojo taking a break from class . He was in the middle of Sam and Miguel while Demetri was sitting in front of him . All were talking about the lesson but they noticed Demetri wasn't talking . And they all knew he constantly talked . Robby noticed that hawk was with the other students , usually he was with Demetri .
Turning to look if Sam and Miguel noticed but guessing by looks that Sam was glaring at hawk and Miguel concerned look . He guessed he wasn't the only one .
" Demetri did you and Hawk fight ? "
He asked him , Sam and Miguel begin to questioned also .
" Did he hurt you !? "
" I don't think Hawk would hurt Demetri , Sam."
" Wouldn't be the first time , Miguel ! "
" But Hawk changed and I know he wouldn't do it again . "
He interrupts them before anyone would notice their little argument .
" Guys , let Demetri tell us . Let's not jump into conclusions , I'm not big fan of Hawk but let's give him the benefit of the doubt . "
All three watched their friend to answer patiently . They sometimes forget that Demetri didn't react well to being rushed. They had to be patient with him .
" He didn't do anything , I just i-i-i. I'm having problems at home but it's fine .
The three watch him stand up as his Dad calls them to fall in and break was over . And he knew he wasn't the only one of the three worried and by the looks of Hawk he was also worried.
...... ...... ..
Running up to catch Demetri she ask him if he can come over to her house to help her pack . Smiling as he agrees she discreetly turns around to give Miguel and Robby a thumbs up. Giggling went Demetri waves a goodbye , and Miguel and Robby try to act discreetly as if they unaware of Sam's idea
.It was cute , she was glad that both Robby and Miguel got along now . Realising they have stuff in common decideding to have a truce , Now they were friends . Both were big softies , funny and loyal the plus side they were Hot .
The three agreed Sam would be the one to talk to Demetri . Knowing her and Demetri was more closer , He was the one who helped her deal with her panic attacks . She helped him with his feelings for a certain Mohawk boy , although she didn't understand why him . But she guessed know one would be good enough for her Demetri . She loved him like a brother.
Don't get her wrong she loved her little brother but her and Demetri understood each other. Thats why she had to get the bottom of the problem .
" Is it cold in Okinawa ? , just in case take a couple sweaters and coats . Better safe than sorry right . "
As Demetri pulled out her clothes , she decided it was the right time to ask .
" Dem , you know you can tell me anything right , even if it's bad . Im ... We are worried about you and its not just today that we noticed . I just want you to know that i got your back "
" I know , I just ... I been having problems with my mother . She doesn't understand why I forgived Hawk , so I tried to not bring up anything around her . She's usually not around , so I invited Hawk over , we were playing video games and catching up . Guess who decided to show up at the moment Eli tries to kiss me "
Her heart broke watching her friend struggle , he paces around the room and she knows Demetri is trying not to break down . She goes up to him and hold his hand .
" It was so embarrising , she threw a fit saying I was ruining my life . kicked out Eli , wouldn't be surprised he didn't want talk to me again . Said pretty much I'm a disgrace to keep it short . I'm sorry "
She hugs him as tight as she could , she got teary eyed hearing Demetri cry . She was so thankful for having her parents , it wasn't fair people had to go through .
" You don't have to be sorry ok , She's wrong she doesn't know you the way we do . You can stay with us today , and if hawk doesn't speak to you I know Robby and Miguel will knock some sense into him . "
Later that night her Dad tells her about including Demetri to the vacation . She tells him he's the best dad ever . She goes to bed listening to Demetri talk about Hawk message and the plans to the trip .
..... ...... ....
At first it was confusing and hard to adjust to her parents being divorce but once realise she realised they were both happier with other people . She came to terms with it , she got to talk to Miguel and Robby about their parent dating each other .
Miguel was glad her mom was happy with someone that knew how to cherish her the way she deserved . Robby wasn't mad or bothered that his dad and her dad were now dated . He just didn't like how he would constantly see his dad flirt with her dad .
When Johnny had accidently called his father Bambi in front of the class , he saw the way the blonde tried to get her father to forgive him all day . She thought Mr . Lawrence wasn't bad after all.
Carmen and Johnny was a nice addition to the family , she gets to spend time more with Robby and Miguel .
...... .......
Miguel was excited to wake up as 4 : 00 in the morning and wait for sensei to pick him up . He never thought he would ever go to the trip with Mr. LaRusso . His mom was also going with them , the best part he was going with his friends too .
Saying Goodbye one last time to YaYa , he climbs inside the car saying hi to everyone . Falling asleep while sensei drives hoping they wouldn't crash .
" Were here , Everybody out ! Let's go ! . "
Walking up to the airport , as everyone follows their Sensei guiding them and telling them to keep an eye out for Mr LaRusso . Turning to Hawk , he was surprised that his friend had managed to have energy to do his hair .
" This is going be fucking awesome dude , only sucks that we have to wake this early . "
" Yeah , we should thank Mr.LaRusso for inviting us and try not to start any fights with anyone meaning Sam or Robby . I know you dude . "
" Right , and I'm not the only that starts them , Who you crushing on now , pretty boy or the princess , or both "
Pushing hawk , as he says his comment with a smirk , He can't remember why he was friends with him now .
" Shut up , I don't know what your talking about . "
" Yeah and that why your blushing "
It only seemed right to flip him off and maybe push him to the floor if he didn't had found Mr. LaRusso and him mom .
" Sensei their over there , Oh My mom arrived to " He told Sensei , pointing at the opposite direction , they all decided to run towards them .
....... ....... .......
He think no one would ever get used to seeing both Senseis making out . They all showed their disagreement of the PDA even Amanda and Carmen were laughing for their childish behavior . Seeing as his dad signaling to the store the class showed their excitement as they cheered remembering Mr. LaRusso promise .
Robby didn't know what to decide on , the rest of the class had money their parents had given them . And he didn't want to ask Mr . LaRusso for money he had already bought him the ticket and clothes and not to include his suitcase .
" we can share something if you want , my Yaya gave me extra money . "
Turning to look at Miguel and Sam , He wanted to reject the idea but he guessed it wouldn't hurt .
" Hey pup get anything LaRusso is paying , goes for you to Miguel . Keep an eye out on them little LaRusso . "
God his dad always had to embarrass him , he didn't mind him calling him that but in public was big No . And by the giggling of both Miguel and Sam they could tell he was blushing . He totally deserved some Oreos for this .
...... ..... ...
Everyone was vibrating with excitement as they got off the plane . Phone filled with selfies on the plane , Laughing along the random ideas to do in Okinawa . They couldn't wait for their adventure to start .
But then they lost Mr . LaRusso who was the only one that knew the place after they all got distracted because it seemed Hawks stupid products weren't here .
" Dude calm down , I think you could get some gel or whatever you use here too . "
" Miguel , I love you bro but right now I'm trying to find my shit . Hey ! What are you all laughing about ! "
Once sensei had enough of the bickering , he told them to fall in line to find their missing Sensei that was once spotted outside with two other people .
Waiting for a big cab for everyone to fit wasn't the best but as they were driven to their location . They were all memorized by the beauty , it seem like no picture can capture the beauty of it . Well not to Sensei apparently he rather look at the beauty of Mr . LaRusso.
He had to admit that was the best line he had heard from his Sensei . He liked how everyone was smiling and Laughing . He also totally noticed the blush on Hawk and Demetri as they both were sitting to close . He was totally going to tease hawk as payback .
