favorite series of all time: fullmetal alchemist

brotherhood, if we’re talking anime, but the manga is still the superior version no matter what. best art, best story, best characters, best fight scenes, best EVERYTHING: the pinnacle of what shonen should be. fma made me want to pursue visual storytelling and quite honestly changed the course of my life. could talk about it forever. cannot recommend it enough. riza hawkeye best character forever and ever.

second favorite series ever: ouran highschool host club

once again, the anime is decent but the manga is where it’s at. ohshc subverts classic shojo tropes while also playing into them and i love love love it for that. i recently reread it and was delighted to find that it still holds up for the most part. makes me scream with laughter and i cannot choose a favorite character (mouri best host tho). it was also just super ahead of its time. hilarious while also being heartfelt and genuine. greatest love confession scene in the history of the world.

maomao MAKES👏THIS👏SERIES, i love her SO MUCH. this series has taken over my life. i watched the anime over and over and when i got tired of that, i read the manga over and over, and when i ran out of that, i began READING THE LIGHT NOVELS which i NEVER DO. i read nearly all of the light novels over the course of a week while i was super sick and coughing my lungs inside out, but it was a good time. i still actively read the english translations of the light novel chapters they come out and it honestly makes me week every time. also gaoshun is my favorite character and i would marry him SO fast.

if i had to describe this series in one word, it would be nostalgia. that may be because it was the second series i ever read as a kid, but it also just FEELS like blurry summer days and childhood friends you’ve nearly forgotten about. also manga natsume is way more fine that anime natsume. i can’t believe they changed his hair color >:(

detective conan

…or “case closed” as they call it in the united states. i have a lot of contempt for series that drag on for forever in the sake of making money but lemme tell you, early conan was GOOD. it was gory and dark and sometimes kinda scary but it was also a little goofy and cheesy. throwback to the early volumes when conan rode a large dog to rescue a kidnapped girl and also held the hand of a dying woman covered in blood as he told her his true name. you don’t get stuff like that anymore because the show’s demographic is getting younger. but i miss the days when people were getting decapitated via roller coaster. i stick with it for sentimental reasons because i’ve watched/read it since i was a tween. i also own the first 80 volumes of the english manga and named my cat Osaka aftwd heiji hattori. also kaito kid sucks and i hate him.

ANYWAY, i have a LOT of anime/manga opinions but i don’t feel like getting into them rn. here is but a taste of them.

also, the first series i ever saw was called “hikaru no go” and i just think it’s funny that i’ve never met another soul who has heard of it and yet my childhood library in the middle of nowhere had the entire series. i think i own two of the volumes because i lost them, paid a fine, and then found them again. good time.

Okay so recently I got back into OHSHC (Ouran High School Host Club) bc my bsf mentioned it and I hadn’t watched it in a long time, so I’ve been rewatching the series, and have a weird Tamaki Suoh attachment. HE IS NOT MY TYPE WHATSOEVER IDK WHAT IT IS ABOUT HIM THATS JUST SO MWAH MWAH MWAH PRINCESS BABYGIRL LEMME SPOIL YOU

I MEAN LOOK AT HIM, LOOK AT THIS BLONDE TWINK WHO’S 97% JUST HIS LONG-ASS LEGS.

But anyways, I was like, why not make a silly OC without trauma for once, just so he can go cure Tamaki’s internalized homophobia with a nice long makeout session?

SO HERE ARE HIS DETAILS SO FAR!!

His name is Cho Tae-yoon (Taeyoon Cho) and he’s an international student at Ouran Academy from South Korea. (I apologize if his name sounds weird, he is my first Korean OC.)

Honey-senpai probably calls him something like Tae-Chan, TaeTae, ETC.

Usually just goes by Tae unless its a super formal occasion.

6 feet and 2 inches tall, 2 inches taller than Tamaki.

He got rich by pursuing an acting career as a child and into his teens, and his parents were already pretty well off in the medical and law industries, so they have a LOT of money. He dropped acting for a bit to go to Ouran Academy, and everyone there knows him, as he’s a celebrity.

Super casual about it tho, doesnt really get the concept of idolizing people, and has normal conversations with the students. He’s a bit of an airhead and spaces out a lot.

He’s a second year, 16 years old.

He has heterochromia, I just haven’t figured out what colors.

He’s known for being in romance and slice of life shows/movies, but his appeal in the host club is that he doesnt suck up to the girls like he would while acting, but has normal conversation and memorizes things about each individual, which makes them happy, and him, in turn, popular.

Part of this is due to the fact that he’s never had any interest in women and even had a kindergarten “boyfriend” which got QUICKLY shut down by his parents.

One of his celebrity trademarks is that he always has his nails painted, no matter what. They come in a variety of colors, but theyre never blank.

The thing with Tamaki is that Tae has always been the guy that girls swoon over on TV and Tamaki is always just like “Tch. I could do better…” but then he meets this guy in person and becomes absolutely WHIPPED for him.

He hides it as jealousy and competitiveness, but Tae is just so oblivious to both. Like, Tamaki could straight up KISS HIM and it still wouldn’t register with him that Tamaki would ever feel anything for him.

He does have light feelings for Tamaki, that he just hasn’t really discovered himself.

anyways i am equally as obsessed with Taemaki as with Chosoako (yes, Taemaki is what we’re calling them, I’ve decided.)

Not As Beautiful As You- Tamaki/Kyoya OHSHC Oneshot

“We’re going camping!”

Tamaki’s excited cry was met with the faintest ripple of acknowledgement. Seven glances were shot his way, but nobody stopped what they were doing or even praised- or more likely, disapproved the idea. Not even Honey paused eating his cake, just blinked and looked up at Mori with an eyerow raised.

The prince scowled at the blank room.

“I said, we’re going camping!”

Haruhi wearily turned towards him, raising her head out of her book. “Senpai, yesterday you said we’d go to the zoo. The day before that, it was paintballing. And last week, you were going on and on about… what was it again?”

“The Bahamas,” Kyoya chimed in, his glasses reflecting the light in a chilling fashion as he looked up. “Where you expect some of our members to get the funding for that is beyond me.” Haruhi winced at the pointed statement. Tamaki took zero notice.

“Oh please, this time is different! See, Kyoya’s family has just bought an acre of land, a forest with a simply beautiful lake flowing through it to build a campsite! Ah, it is most lovely there, almost as gorgeous as me!” Tamaki spun around, producing a rose from his lapel, just to embellish his point.

“We could even do it the way the commoners do! In a tent, with sleeping bags, as an homage to our own commoner!”

He looked around again, expecting some kind of a reaction, before sighing at the blank looks, and slumping to the ground to begin growing mushrooms. Kyoya stared disdainfully at him for a second, praying the idea would be dropped for not wanting to bother hs father by using the not-yet-opened facilities.

No sooner had he fell, however, a grinding of gears and a familiar, shrieking laugh pierced the air. Renge appeared from under the floor in a bright pink, glittery parka and canary wellington boots, clutching a tent bag and sitting on a camping chair. Haruhi did a double take, still not entirely used to the stunts that the club somehow found a way to both fund and pull off without failure.

“Ahahahaha! How foolish you all are for not heeding this idiot’s words! He’s usually a totally terrible excuse of a leader, but he’s onto something with this plan!” She brandished an umbrella from inside her parka, and pointed it at Kyoya. “Kyoya-Senpai! Don’t you see this could be a brilliant marketing scheme? All the outdoor photo shoots and camping brands you could be promoting in exchange for club funding?”

She was right- even Kyoya couldn’t shoot this down. The twins had already started to jump on the idea, joining Renge on her pedestal. Somehow, they were both already in hiking boots and waterproof trousers.

“She’s right.”

From the back of the room, even Mori had put in his twopence. Kyoya couldn’t deny it- it was a perfect way to generate some funding for the club. He gave a tired smile, and made some quick notes down on his clipboard. The whole room was looking towards him now, waiting for approval from the man. Kyoya drew in a long breath. “Fine, you lot. I’ll work my father and make him come around to the plan.”

His statement was met with cheers from the members. Haruhi glanced at everyone, still dumbfounded by how quickly situations at the club could change. How was the place even real, with this level of madness? She was lost in thought when she felt Kyoya’s breath on her cheek.

“Not to worry, Haruhi. I’ll add your expenses to your debt.” She rolled her eyes. He was never going to let that debt go.

The issue of tent-mates had occurred almost as soon as the group of loveable idiots arrived at the Ootori family’s luxury campsite. The twins had attempted to purloin Haruhi into their tent, insisting that they “definitely had space for all 3!”, much to Tamaki’s disdain. Haruhi had taken none of this, and stated calmly that she and Renge had already agreed to share together.

Really, Haruh enjoyed the twins’ antics and knew nothing bad would ever come of hanging out with them, but if Ranka had caught wind that her sweet daughter was camping out with filthy boys Haruhi would never hear the end of it.

After squabbling for a half hour, it was decided that the twins would stay in one tent, Haruhi and Renge in another, Mori and Honey would steal the luxury camper that Kyoya had planned on using alone, and he would be left in the last and smallest tent with Tamaki.

It wasn’t the worst arrangement, and it was only for a night. Kyoya couldn’t help feeling slightly bitter about his campervan, but it would be better for him to stay with Tamaki, however cramped, rather than incur the wrath of a sleepy Honey-Senpai.

It took them a further 3 hours to set up the tents, while Honey and Mori watched them all struggle from the comfort of the van. Tamaki had refused to use the pre-set-up tents that the Ootori family staff would provide, saying that he “needed the full commoner experience”. It went without saying that he would come to regret this immensely, having multiple temper tantrums when the flimsy tent material wouldn’t bend to his will. Renge and Haruhi were a surprisingly nimble and efficient tem when it came to the construction of their tent, and they ended up begrudgingly setting up Kyoya and Tamaki’s after a flood of begging and crocodile tears from the boss. Kyoya had refused to help with any of the tent-building process, under the grounds that it wasn’t his job after he had managed to wrangle the whole campsite for them to roam for pratically no fee. By no fee, he meant affordable for all club members besides Haruhi, for whom it was an unspeakable amount.

During the tent session, Honey and Mori had dug a pit and had started collecting firewood for a campfire. Rather, Mori collected wood, and Honey found sticks that were the perfect size for roasting marshmallows- “A total essential for the outdoors!” -and organised the snacks he’d stashed in his bag for that evening. By the time the tents were set up in a neat semicircle, there was a roaring fire and even wide logs for them to sit on around it that had been dragged around the woods by Mori.

Their campsite overlooked the still lake, and the moon reflected high in the sky above the friends. Fireflies buzzed around and glowed gold in the night, hovering just above the fire’s smoke, their light bouncing off the group’s faces. Their cheeks and noses were pink with cold and they were huddled under layers upon layers of blankets. Tamaki was sittig next to Kyoya, squashed against him penguin style, sharing the blanket and body heat. Kyoya couldn’t help but note Tamaki’s familiar vanilla cookie smell over the green, clear scent of the woods.

He inhaled before he could help himself, feeling a familiar swell in his chest. There was something about Tamaki, there always had been, from the moment they met and every minute since. He would never admit it- he hardly even let himself entertain his thoughts- but Tamaki was a beautiful, shining beacon radiating warmth and love for his friends, his family, the world. Kyoya privately wished he too could exude this kind of emotion, but more than that he wanted to absorb it from the blond boy. He wanted to soak in every part of Tamaki and then more. There was an unnameable emotion swelling within Kyoya with every glance at his friend, and he knew he wouldn’t be able to hide it for much longer.

He stood abruptly, shedding the blanket onto Tamaki. The feeling in his chest was too much; he couldn’t remain so close to the boy he was trying so desperately to ignore his love for.

“Excuse me- I think I may have to take my leave, everyone. Lots of budgetng to do.” He brandished his clipboard and gave a wan smile. Tamaki looked heartbroken.

“But Kyoya! We haven’t even finished the marshmallows, you can’t possibly pass up smores for work!” The blond boy protested. He knew how to get round anyone but Kyoya knew he wouldn’t be able to stand another minute by his side, feeling his warmth just centimetres away from his heartbeat.

“No, no. Please enjoy the sweets without me. Somebody has to take care of business in this club after all.” He scurried into the tent before anyone could try to stop him, leaving behind the chattering group and the glow of the fire.

Kyoya tossed and turned in his too-short sleeping bag for hours, listening to the crackling fire and sleepy laughter of his friends. What was he going to do? Why couldn’t he love some noble’s daugher and make his family proud? Why was he cursed to love those he would never be able to have?

These thoughts plagued him long into the night, and angry tears escaped from his eyes. He was a failure, a terrible son and an even worse friend to Tamaki for having such terrible feeligs towards him. Eventually, with his mind spitting thoughts that ricocheted round his head like bullets, Kyoya fell into a restless sleep.

“Okay everyone! I’m off to bed. Hopefully Mommy won’t snore!” Tamaki rose from his space on the log after swallowing down his sixth smore.

Honey was leaning against Mori, breathing deeply and clutching at Usa-chan, dreaming of sweets. Haruhi had long gone to bed, and Renge soon followed. The twins were soaked through, having thought it would be hilarious to throw each other into the lake fully clothed. They hadn’t brought towels, the unprepared idiots, so now they had to dry off next to the campfire before they were able to crawl into bed.

A sleepy chorus of “goodnight” echoed around the fire from the remaining group members as Tamaki slowly unzipped the door to his tent, trying his hardest for once to be quiet as to not wake Kyoya up. He’d acted kind of strange earlier, and Tamaki couldn’t help but wonder what could be going on for his oldest and dearest friend. Tamaki was hesitant to give time to the thought, but he was finding himself having different kinds of feelings towards Kyoya recently, just here and there. At first, it was just that he notced a little more than usual when Kyoya had cut or styled his hair differently, then it was that he was almost hyper-aware of Kyoya’s features and how beautiful he was- he looked chiseled, like a marble statue with his clear, glassy skin.

Tamaki shook his head to rid himself of the emotion filling his mind. Not the time or place, he thought to himself, especially given that he would soon be lying right next to Kyoya. As quietly and quickly as he could, the blond boy clambered into the tent, trying hard to fit his long legs and arms neatly into his sleeping bag. He lay his head down onto the pillow and tried his hardest to fall asleep, not wanting his head to buzz with what he didn’t want to admit was love.

Tamaki awoke with a start. There was a rumbling noise, and in his sleepy stupor he couldn’t work out what the sound could possibly be coming from… Ah. After a minute of frantically whipping his head around trying to find the sure, he realised it was his friend snoring. Wow, Tamaki thought. Kyoya snores like a pig. Maybe that would be grounds to try and detatch his feelings! He couldn’t possibly fall for someone so loud- nevermind, it was no use trying to persuade himself of feeling anything other than a swell of happiness whenever he was around Kyoya.

He glanced over at the black haired boy. He was beautiful- his face was softened by sleep, making him appear vulnerable and young, almost like a baby bird who can’t yet fly. The slight tightness in Kyoya’s brow that usually marked his face was dissipated and relaxed, and he no longer showed a air of uptight snootiness. Tamaki wanted to reach out and stroke the smooth skin of his cheek, run his hands through Kyoya’s silky hair. He resisted.

Unzipping the door, Tamaki softly padded outdoors. The sun wasn’t up yet, but it was definitely too light to be the dead of night anymore. He sighed, knowing that he wouldn’t be getting any more sleep that night. No matter, he would nap when he got home.

Tamaki wandered down to the lake’s edge, to where the water lapped at his toes and brushed his heels. It was cool and comforting, softly spashing at his feet. He considered for a second before stripping down to his underwear, the early morning half-light illuminating his toned shoulders and reflecting a shade of orange onto his chest. Tamaki stepped into the water, letting it swell around his knees and thighs for a second before dipping his shoulders under the golden water. He swam with a strong stroke into the centre of the lake, treading the water and watching the sky streak with pink, yellow and gold.

Back in the tent, Kyoya had stirred from his dead slumber. He could see that the door was flapped open, letting a breeze flow into the sleeping pod. He sighed and rolled out of his sleeping bag, pushing aside the door and following the footsteps down to the lake, twigs crunching underneath his bare feet. The coals in the firepit were still faintly glowing, and he stopped a minute to re-stock the fire and get the flames going again for when the others woke up. Once it was quietly crackling once again, he walked down to the lake’s shore, looking out across the woodlands. He could see Tamaki in the middle of the lake, his bare shoulders shining with water. No sooner had he arrived at the edge did Tamaki turn around and smile, yelling something that Kyoya didn’t quite catch across the water. When he didn’t respond, Tamaki made a wide beckoning gesture with his arms.

Kyoya hesitated a second, but reluctantly took his pyjamas off and wading into the lake. It wasn’t as chilly as he’d expected, just a still coolness that slipped over his skin as he swam to his friend. As he got closer, Tamaki sliced through the water towards him, grinning.

“Hey! I didn’t know you snore, I wouldn’t have shared a bedroom with you if I’d known! You totally woke me up” he raised an eybrow and smirked a little before falling into peals of laughter, unable to take himself seriously enough to smirk. Kyoya felt his cheeks redden.

“I do not snore, Suoh. Don’t project your faults onto me.” He deadpanned before smiling to show Tamaki he didn’t really mind the dig.

Tamaki suddenly looked past Kyoya, eyes shining. “Look! The sun’s rising! Isn’t it stunning?”

Kyoya turned. He was right- it was beautiful. The streaked sky was punctuated by the shimmering sparkle of the rising sun, a giant glowing full stop. He felt a hand on his shoulder, quickly followed by Tamaki’s chest resting on his back, chin on his shoulder.

Kyoya reddened again, but this time he felt bolder.

“It’s not as beautiful as you.”

Tamaki pulled away abruptly, and his stomach tied in a tangled knot of regret. Shit. Maybe he was too bold, thought Kyoya. He bowed his head and turned in the water, slightly raising his head to look at Tamaki’s face. The boy was wide eyed and pink cheeked, staring at Kyoya with his mouth slightly ajar.

“Tamaki, I-” Kyoya began to apologise. He was cut off by Tamaki’s tackled embrace, almost knocking him backwards into the lake. He could feel his friend’s- no, his love’s- hands gripping his back before rising to his jaw. Tamaki’s eyes were hazy and dark. He was beautiful.

“Kyoya,” His voice was barely above a whisper. “I’ve wanted you to say that for so long.”

He leant forwards. Kyoya could hardly believe what was happening, and leant into the kiss that he’d waited for forever.

It was perfect. The sun was high now, and the lake was still and crystal, and Tamaki’s lips were so soft, and his hands so gentle. Kyoya didn’t know how this would pan out after this moent had ended… But he’d cross that bridge when he got to it.

my first impressions on suga were: what a kind and supportive senpai, he’s cute and i love his smile

my impressions on suga now: WHAT A KIND AND SUPPORTIVE SENPAI, HE’S CUTE AND I LOVE HIS SMILE BUT ALSO WHAT A BEAUTIFUL SOUL???

I ALREADY SAW HE WAS BEAUTIFUL ON THE OUTSIDE BUT INSIDE TOO, HE’S BEAUTIFUL???? i could list so many of his qualities, ie: he’s kind, supportive, caring, understanding, refreshing, hard working, diligent, clever, sincere and so on bUT HE ALSO HAS A VERY CUNNING SIDE???

and can be manipulative bUT MANIPULATIVE IN A GOOD WAY??? he manipulates in order to make someone better, like, a CHAOTIC GOOD. remember when he cheered up yamaguchi in the novel by just saying the truth??? he told and did just enough to make yamaguchi gains confidence again but it wasn’t gratuitous at all and he was just being sincere and straight forward. He knows the impact of his words on someone as anxious as yamaguchi and used his “influence” for good. to take my friend anna’s words: “ ITS LIKE EVEN WHEN SUGA IS BEING KIND OF BAD HES DOING IT FOR GOOD LIKE I DON'T THINK THIS BOYS EVER BEEN BAD FOR REAL IN HIS LIFE”. sugawara koushi is not just sunshine and rainbow.... HE FEELS NEGATIVE EMOTIONS TOO, and he doesn’t try to run away from them, he takes time to think abt it, tries to find solution by himself

he’s also not just a parental figure/senpai material, he’s so very childish and i love this!! so much... i love how much of a little shit he is?????? openly making fun of his closest friends??? of his kouhai?????? I LOVE SUGAWARA KOUSHI WITH ALL MY BEING Y’ALL

yes, i think about sugawara koushi a lot.

I platonically and romantically ship him with Daichi the most and I like him with Yaku too (but the lack of content for this ship is kind of discouraging ;;)

My reason to ship Daisuga: i shipped daisuge before even getting into haikyuu cuz i thought they looked like a married couple together haha but now that i saw/read haikyuu, i can say that’s it’s more than that! together they support the team and have this parent/senior role but they are also very supportive and proud of each other and are able to read the other, to tell when they don’t feel okay. like, suga always puts on a brave face in front of the team but when he’s with daichi, he is comfortable enough with him to drop the smile and admits something bothers him when daichi asks. or how suga just sees straight through daichi’s true feelings and makes sure he knows it (when daichi talked abt quitting the club, suga confronted him and asked him if it really was what he wanted. he didn’t try to convince him to stay or ask him why, he just helped daichi to be honest with himself). I also love how suga is the only one who can get away with lecturing and punching daichi, who can tease him or makes fun of him :’) 

My reason to ship Sugayaku: they bonded so fast on their first meeting as they more or less have the same caretaker role in their team, they are honest, sassy, hard working and just, similar on many more points but, here comes the huge difference between them: they have very different way of dealing with their feelings and with people. and i think it’d be truly interesting to see how they’d work together as a couple. 

Suga is a very sincere character, he’s aware of his strong points but also of his flaws. This is why he thought it was best for Kageyama to be the official setter while he stays on the sidelines. On the other hand, Yaku is honest and straight forward, he doesn’t have time for small talk or hesitations but he also seems to be in denial of what’s affecting him directly (pretending to be mad at lev for blocking his sight on the court, only to look sheepish when kuroo calls him out on his “demon senpai” act, pretending he can still play when he’s injured, casually shouting encouragement to anything his teammates do, even if it’s not extraordinary, but getting mad when someone else mocks them). Yaku is just a tad bit, tsun. 

And this is where SugaYaku would be very interesting: suga would make yaku face his true feelings, help him being more sincere with himself and yaku would give suga a good kick in the butt when he feels like he’s not good enough, telling him the truth when he is hesitating/moping. 

They’re both good at taking care of people, Suga by gently showing them the way, if it makes sense. He doesn’t force people to do anything, he subtly tells them what they need to hear always with great sincerity cuz he’s very observant of his friends but he also tends to put other before him. Yaku takes care of his friends the harsher way? He speaks the rawest truth, regardless of the other. Despite this, he keeps the team’s troublemakers in line, he worries abt kenma the moment he sneezes, . Suga is playful (remember when daichi asked ennoshita to keep an eye on the team cuz suga always gets carried away) while Yaku is more strict (but it doesn’t stop him from stealing food directly from his kouhai haha). They’re kind of complementary and would try their best to bring out the best out of another, imo

As for Asahi: even if suga makes fun of asahi a lot, he really cares abt him and encourages him when he needs to (in the asahi-centered chapter from the novels, suga sees asahi is anxious abt a lot of things, to the point of praying and making an offering at the shrine. and what good soul suga does, he comes to pray with asahi and talk to him abt his worries). after 3 years playing together, they trust each other on the court and have this special setter/ace bond c:

What movie are you guilty of watching over and over?

Spirit.... i watched this one 3 times last year.... listen, james baxter’s animation is just so good and the soundtrack is A+++++ my inner horse girl still love this movie despite everything.... Crazy Stupid Love is another one..... i just associate very good memories with this one and it always makes me laugh

I’ll pick sky: picture the top of snowy mountains, the sun is setting upon them and the lighting becomes pinkish, in an alpenglow effect??? The sky behind the mountains are in this nice shades of sunset: orange, pink with a dash of blue, it brings out the whiteness of the snow

What is your comfort food?

Black sesame tāngyuán soup, with dried sweet osmanthus ;_____; 

it brings back so many good memories... my grandma used to make them for my brother and I, now I have to stick with industrial ones and eat them w/o my brother :/ arghfjhfjhdh this wasn’t supposed to be sad! my grandma and my brother are okay, dw!

it’s just soul healing, the warmness and flavor of the soup just makes me feel so so good, even just for a moment 

i don’t have them often so an actual comfort food would be any kind of chocolate, as long as it’s not extra sweet or too bitter

ohshc only comes to my mind atm... i read all the manga volumes 4 times I think? and saw the anime at least as many time cuz this series makes me feel so good

haruhi is amazing and a role model, i love the characterization of the main cast, the relationship they all have with one another, how funny the gags are, the seiyuu cast was perfect... oh man i still want to see a s2 ;__; or a reboot....! with the same cast, please

Do you liked being bundled up in winter clothes or, loose, simple, and freeee–in regards to fashion. 

ahhhhhggg difficult question.... i like being free of my movements so i love wearing loose and light clothing like shirt, skirt, dress, shorts but wearing lot of layers to keep myself warm is very nice too awwww =w= but that’s not the point fhjfjfdjd IN REGARDS TO FASHION, i’d say winter clothes... you can match lot of clothes in one outfit? like a shirt underneath a sweater, a big cardigan over a shirt (yes, i really like shirts, regardless of the season), a long skirt with a pair of tights, nice boots with really anything?? lot of possibilities *nods nods*

Have you ever wanted a manga because of its amazing covers or spines? If so, which ones?

I’m not sure I’ve ever started a manga solely based on it’s covers/spines, but I have definitely bought random volumes of manga I like just because I love the covers haha... ^^” I absolutely LOVE the Noragami volume covers (they’re probably my favourite manga covers ever) and I also love the Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle ones! <3 I bought a random volume of Tsubasa before just because I loved the cover actually... (Volume 9 in case anyone's curious...! ^^”)

I have certainly started series just because I liked the art style though... actually, Magi is probably my main one in that regard, I absolutely love the character designs! <3

As for spines, I love the One Piece ones (I love the covers too), they’re sooo colourful, I’d love to have a couple of volumes for my bookshelf!

Your top favourite on-going 'new’ anime/manga at the moment?

Most of my favourite on-going anime/manga aren’t new (One Piece, Hunter x Hunter, Akatsuki no Yona, etc.), and we’re between seasons making this question a little difficult to answer but... I guess out of the new ones airing Boku no Hero Academia is probably my favourite! <3 

A manga/anime you’ve read/watched even though it is not your favourite genre, and why?

Hahaha, okay so... I’m not really a huge fan of Mecha in theory (as in, I don’t really care for giant robots battling it out and what not... at all), BUT some shows I consider some of my favourites just so happen to be Mecha... >.< So I feel like I’m kind of a hypocrite haha... 

Some of my faves in the genre include: Code Geass (one of my all time fave anime tbh), Full Metal Panic! (which is a fantastic show that I don’t talk about nearly enough lol), and Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann (made by some folks at Gainax who later went on to form Studio Trigger - hence the art style being similar to Kill la Kill, etc.) Aldnoah.zero is also very good, although I’ve only seen season 1!

For all of them the reason I started them was that they seemed super popular, and the reason I liked them was because of the fantastic characters and/or compelling plots... so the mechs didn’t bother me in the slightest in the end! ^^”

Which anime/manga world would you like to live in and who do you want to be in it?

I was only saying this to my brother the other day actually, and I’d honestly love to live in One Piece, it would be such a blast! (He disagreed, said it would be too dangerous hahaha) I’m kinda afraid of boats though so that wouldn’t be ideal haha... but I reckon I could put that aside if I was travelling around with the Straw Hats or something, just sailing the seas... not having to worry about anything trivial that I’d ordinarily be anxious about... Also, there’s so much like... culture in the One Piece world, so many cool islands like Dressrosa (ehhh... for... the most part... and also I guess you could argue I could just go to Spain lol), Sabaody Archipelago, Fishman Island, etc... I just think travelling around and visiting all the places would be SUPER fun and interesting! <3 

I don’t think I’d want to be anyone in it though, I was trying to think of someone without a tragic backstory and I don’t think there is anyone hahaha... but if I ignore that detail hmm... maybe either Tashigi (cause as much as I dislike the marines in general, I love Smoker and G5 are kind of a bunch of dorks deep down lol), or Koala (because I think the Revolutionary Army are cool and I love Sabo lol <3)! Also, neither of them are devil fruit users, which is good because I’m not sure I’d like to be one, I like being able to swim haha... (although admittedly it would be cool, especially something like Law’s power!)

If I could just be myself in the world though, I’d love to join the Straw Hats or maybe the Heart Pirates (and that’s totally not because I love Zoro and Law... definitely not... :P). Also, on a more realistic note, with either of those crews I could potentially help out Chopper or Law with the medical side of things... I suppose! 

Which anime has a special place in your heart? What is it and why?

I’ve gotta go with my childhood anime here, so it’s gotta be Pokemon and probably Yu-gi-oh as well! <3 I still remember rushing home from school to catch the new episodes haha :’) They were just such a huge part of my childhood, I’ll never forget them and I’ll always have fond memories of them! <3 Also, Naruto and Inuyasha since they were the first anime I watched knowingly and so they have a huge nostalgia factor! <3

Some more recent (-ish lol) honorable mentions that have had a huge impact on me include: FMA, Code Geass, Ao no Exorcist, One Piece, Hunter x Hunter, KnB, Yuri on Ice, OHSHC, Noragami, Rurouni Kenshin and Free! To name a few... ^^”

Okay so this is my very first request ever lolz. I actually wanted to ask for a continuation from one from the wishing well chapters? OHSHC Mori/Kyoya arc both rivaling for Kagome's attention && who will be the first to go out on a date with her. Of course Tamaki inviting her to Ouran and seeing them have their assignations complicates everything or if you can think of something else I just simply loooooooove looooove all your work so I look forward to what you put up ^·^~^·^!

Okay, so this is a little… I’ll just let you read it and decide how you feel about this. Hope you enjoy it!

Her lips pursed at the sight before her, not what she was expecting, at all, when she received an invitation to visit Ouran High School. The only reason she decided to go was because both Mori and Kyoya had been showing up at random points in her life and she thought turn about was fair play.

A brow ticked at not only what she was seeing, but hearing as well. The coos, laughter, sighs, and squeals were off-putting to be the least. Inhaling deeply and steeling her resolve to turn about and leave, she cringed when an excited voice called out her name. The effect was instantaneous, all attention was on her as she tried to slink back out of the room.

“Kagome-chan! You accepted my invitation, wonderful!” the calls were quickly followed by her being dragged deeper into the room by an enthusiastic young man.

“Who- who are you?” the room spun as she was forced to dance to the obviously crazy boy’s tune. “And let me go!”

The room continued to spin, even after she was rescued. One hand clenched the fabric her face was buried in while the other pressed to her brow. A large hand, one she vaguely recognized, smoothed down her back. “Kagome-chan?”

“Mori?” her eyes squinted up at him, the spinning had stopped but her stomach was still tight and slightly queasy. “Ugh.”

She pulled away with a shake of her head, having seen him as well as Kyoya entertaining a group of girls each. She had gone through an unsure relationship with Inuyasha, she was not about to go through whatever… this was. “I’m sorry, I’m going to go.”

Her exit only got so far as Kyoya stepped in front of her, effectively blocking her path. Lips pursed as she watched him push his glasses up higher on his nose as he looked down at her. “This is unexpected.

“Yes, well so was the sudden invite and limo waiting for me.” she tossed a look at the suddenly cowering boy that had dragged her into this room. “And as wonderful as your school is, I’ve seen enough and will be taking my leave. Good-bye.”

Now both Mori and Kyoya were blocking her exit, forcing Kagome to release a harsh breath. “Is there a reason the two of you are not letting me leave?”

“Why do you feel the need to leave so quickly after arriving?” Kyoya stared down at her, brows furrowed, hand tightening on his tablet. “There is more that I’m sure you haven’t seen, and we’d be willing to give you a tour.”

There was a cry; it was a mix of whines, denials, and even a few hisses directed at her. Kagome shook her head. “I’m pretty sure it’s all the same. Big, sparkly with the aroma of roses in the air.” she waved a hand to dismiss the free offer, stunning the girls that were all now avidly watching. “So, if you’ll excuse me, I have to get home and start on my duties.”

She squeezed past the two of them after wishing them yet another farewell. Her exit was thwarted after yet another few steps when a new figure appeared. “So you’re the one, Mori has been distracted!”

Kagome reeled back at the tiny, excited blond. He bounced before her, looking more like a child than an actual high school student.”Uh… I’m sorry?” Mori, distracted? She didn’t think it was possible, at least as far as she knew him. Which was turning out to be not that much apparently, for Kyoya as well.

He latched onto her hands, jumping up and down as he smiled up at her. “Mori talks about you all the time! It’s easy to see he really, really likes you!”

Mori, talking? She could hardly get complete sentences out of him, yet she was being told he spoke of her constantly? Looking around, she didn’t feel that he’d be doing so here. “Um…” what was she supposed to say to that?

“Stay! We have cake.” he dragged her down a bit to be more at his level to whisper to her. “I especially like the ones with strawberries!”

Kagome smiled in return, his happiness infectious. “That sounds wonderful, but I really do have to go back home. The drive here was unexpectedly longer than I thought it would be, and I have to help with the shrine.”

“A shrine?” his eyes got even bigger, Kagome smile growing with it. “Do you do festivals? A big tree? How about Tori gates?”

Chuckling, Kagome nodded her head. “Yes, yes, and yes. And while our shrine isn’t big, there’s still much to do.” she pulled back up to her proper height, ruffling his hair.

Her next attempt to leave was thwarted in the most bizarre way possible. It had her eyes widening as she spun about and her heart, well, she wasn’t sure if it was beating far too fast or just stopped altogether. A large board decorated with hearts and glitter with bold printed letters. “Win a date with a miko?!” she stumbled back into one of the posh sofas and whipped her head about to face the boy that dragged her into the room. “What is that!?”

“That, lovely holy one, is the contest between Mori and Kyoya to see which one of them will win a date, with, you!” his movements were all done with a flourish as if he was a host presenting game show prizes.

“What? I never-!” releasing a harsh sigh, her head dropped back as she tried to control herself. “That’s it, I’m leaving. Everyone, I wish all, a pleasant day.” with a mock salute, Kagome spun about and was sure in displaying that she was leaving.

It was with this attempt, that both Mori and Kyoya helped escort her out, practically dragging her out, to be honest. Once they were out in the hallway, and Mori made sure that the door was firmly closed behind them, Kyoya was the one to start talking.

“Kagome, is there something wrong?” while he seemed unchanging, there was a slight furrowing of his brows and concern touching his tone.

“Well, there are a few things, but the fact that you both are hosts is a touch upsetting.” she pinched the bridge of her nose. “Especially since you both know of my recent breakup with my ex. Not that any of this should matter since I hardly know the both of you well enough to get truly upset.”

Both of them watched her upset expression, not understanding why she was so upset. They figured there wouldn’t be a problem since they were both attempting to win her favor. Their affections for her were real, while what they did during club hours was, basically, all a show. They all knew that, right?

They didn’t get a word in as Kagome shuffled away with a quiet farewell, leaving Mori and Kyoya much to think about.
