Getting real tired of these faux-progressive thinkpieces about TLJ from (white) liberals

They all conveniently ignore the fact that the movie shortchanged their PoC characters in favour of white feminism and focusing more on infantilizing a white mass murderer.

They also had said mass murderer hijack their female protagonist’s characterization where she is reaped of agency in how her development is supplemental to realizing the depths of his manpain.

I agree with the misfire of Luke’s characterization in TLJ, but honestly that’s the least of my problems with this movie.

Honestly, Rian Johnson can take his R*ylo fanfic and jack off into the moon. This franchise DESPERATELY needs WoC writers.

Okay. I’m officially done now. Fandom with Star Wars put on hiatus until 2019.
