Narcissistic
you have little to no respect for others. you believe that other people are invalid and you are superior to them in each and every way. you probably talk a lot about yourself, or think highly of yourself. you need to learn that the world does not revolve around you, there is 8 billion other people out there, and not everything has to go your way
Violent
when something makes you upset, it could even be the tiniest most petty reason ever, you yell, rage, and possibly throw stuff in anger. your actions think quicker than your mind, and it could probably not even be intentional but the next thing you'll realize is that you've hurt someone
Manipulative
you're probably a passive aggressive person. you frequently lie, and gaslight to get your way. you never want to be held responsible for your actions so you avoid situations by either victimizing yourself, belittling others concerns, hiding the truth, and using threats to harm yourself or others
Stubborn
you don't recognize the opinions and beliefs of others, either that or you don't care about them. you stick strongly to what you were raised to doing, and don't realize that the world can change. you have extremely strong beliefs, and you think that if another's beliefs aren't the exact same as yours, they're wrong and you automatically hate them. you also might be political and close minded

well since i already mentioned it and i love them, hereâs the azad kids
SOLA AMI AZAD â
sola is zephyr brigham & maliq azadâs first born child, the oldest of the azad children, and like i mentioned earlier the only responsible adult in this entire household. also, she was born on january 1st so sheâs super cool!!!
so boom, she is/was a very easy-going baby and prbly the sweetest and smartest person youâll ever meet. obviously inherited her motherâs troll gene bc she wouldnât repeat animal sounds until her mother bought a cow costume and made a song abt it.
sheâs also a half witch..............inherited some of those good genes from her dad but prbly wonât figure it out until sheâs in middle school. honestly she prbly knew before maliq even did. unfortunately she also inherited his gift of being a cornball so thatâs nice
due to being the most Responsible one with witch in her genetics, sola is super smart with a freaky high IQ. took all honors courses in school and actually graduated from high school early. but because her parents always found themselves being arrested, sola eventually grows up and attends college to study law in hopes of becoming a defense attorney.
although sheâs p calm, collected, and quiet, that doesnât mean sheâs a doormat. she will fuck literally anybody up, especially over her sister, and gets this behavior from her mother.
being that sheâs part witch, the gift of knowledge ainât her only ability! she can also see auras, so fuck niggas beware â sheâll expose you.
actually she might be bisexual cause apparently in the sims she grows up hella gay so weâll go with that. fuck niggas AND fuck girls beware!
literally doesnât age so thatâs cool too i guess
SINEAD LUNA AZAD â
the baby! the youngest of the azad children! the absolute clumsy clown!!!
so her name is sinead (sin-EED) but being that sheâs a super emo baby and extremely accident prone, and also gave zephyr hell for ten months, her nickname is needy.
i mean her first steps prbly resulted in a fall that left a scar or smthn
needyâs a cancer, so sheâs also a big ass cry baby. gets very emotional about things and ppl kinda make fun of her for that, but itâs okay bc sola and her mother can beat literally anybody ass so thereâs that
so....she wasnât blessed with a high IQ or anything like that. BUT she is super creative just like her daddy! her talent comes in art, and would much rather paint for the rest of her life than do anything else
jordyn may have gotten rid of her gap, but sinead has not. she loves her teeth, and if anyone says otherwise, sola will fight you.
also has a permanent baby face just like her sister so do the azad children ever even age??? weâll find out in 50 years
while sola is more of the social butterfly and easygoing in conversations, needy is super shy. also a huge daddyâs girl so again, would much rather be painting or hiding behind her dad
although the azads are slowly gaining fame due to maliq doing whatever it is that he does and zephyr being a social media troll, the kids were like Not raised up on any of that. dollar pizza every night for dinner just like the good ol days!
but really, both sisters have a rather large following on social media and things, pretty popular & cool as people, and prbly have done a few magazine features once theyâre older. both girls are super down to earth and spiritually ghetto so who wouldnât want to see this family get their own reality show???? ugh iâd die for these kids good night

Ahhh I canât tell you how good it feels to be typing away at a blog post again! I donât think youâre able to truly appreciate something until you have to leave it behind for a while. For those of you that thought I left the book community for good, I donât blame you! I went virtually dark on here and on my bookstagram. The only place you mightâve seen me lurking for the last month is Twitter. But hopefully Iâm here to stay for a long while!
The break I tookâthough for somewhat grueling purposesâwas completely necessary. Iâm in the deepest, darkest depths of my senior year of high school, and to all the people that told me it would be my best year yet, youâre a bunch of liars. College apps are, frankly, the absolute worst. I practically have my entire transcript memorized Iâve filled in my grades so many times. Iâm also really sick of writing all about my Dreams and Goals and Hopes For the Big Bright Future Ahead of Me. (That all being said, Iâm truly grateful for the opportunity to go to college, but I need a little venting space because the application process is rough). Finally, Iâm just really tired of school. Iâm tired of homework. Iâm tired of getting up every morning at 6:30 am. Senioritis has got me bad, you guys. Adjusting to this year has been much harder on me than normal, so I needed time to figure out how blogging fits into my schedule. But I finally got an entire week off for Thanksgiving, and I knew I had to make this blog a priority.
Now, as I write this post, I think that taking a hiatus also made me realize something else. Though blogging is tons of work, I need it now more than ever. When Iâm feeling overwhelmed by how much schoolwork I have, or all the impending exams I have to take, blogging is a great place to relax and talk about something fun. Which I really need at the moment.
Anyways, now that youâre all caught up on why I was gone, hereâs a look at what Iâve been doing in my bookish life!
Recently Read
Just a few days ago I finished Batman: Nightwalker by Marie Lu (thanks to my mom for snagging an ARC at YALLFest, more on that later)! Although I donât know a ton about Batman, I have to say this book was quite captivating. I loved the way Marie describes Gotham City, and how the book feels like a crime thriller. Iâll be posting a full review in the next few weeks, so keep an eye out!
I also read one of my most anticipated 2017 reads, The Language of Thorns, a few weeks ago! Itâs too bad that I read this absolutely stunning book during my hiatus, I wouldâve loved to fangirl with everyone about it (please, if youâve read this, FANGIRL WITH ME ABOUT IT)! As always, Queen Leigh managed to reach my soul with her gorgeous writing and storytelling. I think my favorite story would have to be When Water Sang Fire, though I adore them all!
Currently Reading
Okay, this probably seems pretty random. But believe it or not, I am one of the rare people on this planet that has yet to read this series. Iâve had the first book on my shelf since it came out in 2014 or some insanely old year (my TBR problem is really a catastrophe, I know). After attending a panel with Victoria Aveyard on Royal Politics and Schemery at YALLFest, I got the sudden itch to finally read this book! So hence why out of nowhere Iâm picking up this YA âclassic.â So far Iâm enjoying it, but I canât tell if itâs dystopia or fantasy? The mix of genres threw me for a loop, so if anyone wants to explain it to me, be my guest!
YALLFest 2017
Prepare yourselves bookworms, because I have pictures to share! About two weeks ago, I attended YALLFest in Charleston with my bestie @ Jordz the Bibliophile. It was actually my second time at the festival, so this time I went in with a lot more knowledge and an extensively planned scheduleâwell, an extensively planned schedule of giveaways, I should say. I got to meet several amazing authors and go to a couple panels/speeches, but the thing Iâm most proud of is my haul. So Iâll save it for last. Hereâs me with the authors I got to meet!
The authors from left to right: Laini Taylor (her line started two hours early!!), Becky Albertalli (sweetest person on the planet), Rhoda Belleza, Jeff Zentner, Sarah Nicole Lemon, Scott Reintgen (I may have gotten a sneak peek at the cover and title of Nyxia #2, thatâs all Iâm sayinâ), Tomi Adeyemi (funniest. person. ever.), Dhonielle Clayton & Sona Charaipotra, aaaaand Jordyn being a goofball with me at the Penguin Red Carpet event!
Now for *drum roll please* THE HAUL:
I wonât be so obnoxious as to list everything out, but in the left photo are all the books I got, plus some tote bags. On the right are the posters, bookmarks, and other swag I collected throughout the day! I wonât lie and say I got all this stuff without even trying. During the week or so before the event, I scoured Twitter and Instagram for all the publisher announcements of ARC giveaways. Then I made an Excel spreadsheet and listed out all the potential giveaways I would wait in line for. At the event, I had my handy squadron of friends and family to jump between lines. It was an absolutely INSANE day, and now I have some serious reading cut out for me!
Now that you know what Iâve been up to, I want to hear from you all! What did I miss while I was gone? What is everyone currently reading? Did anyone else attend YALLFest this year?
Find me on:Â Instagram | Twitter | Tumblr | Goodreads | Bloglovin
Iâm Back! And With More Books to Read Than Ever Ahhh I can't tell you how good it feels to be typing away at a blog post again!
