#ok we knew episode 2 was the edwin having gay panic about the cat king episode#but i think this is the most unequivocal 'edwin does actually want the cat king too' we get#it's very interesting to me that he is aware at least on some level about how he's attracted to men even this early on#it's not that he doesn't realise how he feels. he just believes it is wrong#dead boy detectives#edwin payne#edwin paine#the cat king#edwin x the cat king#<- i don't actively ship it but i need the reach#im much more fascinated by the internal workings of edwin and how he interacts with people + himself than i am by shipping him with anyone
