Also bored as hell so here's Invincible fic recommendations because I can, in no particular order. This fandom's weirdly small (from what I can see) but there are people making fics and I will treasure and cherish them until the sun explodes. His mother did save his father when they first met, but she hadn't used spells. She was an alien. She was a superhero. And one day, Mark would be too.

i am a connoisseur of ✨fitzier hatesex✨ and there's surprisingly not that many of those compared to fics where they're all lovey-dovey with each other (which. dont get me wrong. i also enjoy from time to time). so i'll give you some that have truly stuck with me. it's mostly pwp sorry not sorry.

everyone give it up for erectile dysfunction! hip-hip hurray! the author sums it up well with the James Fitzjames’s Tragically Unmet Praise Kink tag. this one is a little more on the sad side, Francis is being a goddamn gremlin and James is at his most needy and pathetic. nothing hotter to me personally than sucking someone's limp dick and crying about it. i find myself thinking about this fic an ungodly amount. i love it so much. again, best of the best of the best.

yes, yes, this is technically an HBO Rome fic but each chapter deals with a different time period - the third is dedicated to The Terror and can totally be read on its own. it's some truly excellent Sir John/Fitzjames with a sprimkle of some delightful Fitzconte tomfoolery. It's really, really good.

please noted that until this year, i hadn't read any peterick fic since 2017 so there's a lot im probably missing but im gonna try and recommend some newer fic (to me at least lol) here;

The High Way to Hell Series by @holytrohmanempire - ok this series is not new and everyone probably already read it BUT it's still ongoing and it's epically long and so so damn good, like fall out boy meet supernatural but better, the band dynamic is amazing, the characterization is on point, the episodic format is delightful, AND the peterick slowburn and the payoff in infinity on high installment is wonderful, i would need a whole new post to rave about this fic so i will stop now

Crooked Love - oh man i am OBSESSED with this fic ive been saying this for months, it's just a perfect disastrous romcom, it's funny, it's got my anxiety rising, it's hot, it's romantic, it's featuring finance bro patrick being a human dumpster fire, i love it to death. the author also write other amazing fics, id recommend silver screen dream, between the sheets, and i've forgiven jesus (the last two were co-written and ive forgiven jesus was pretty damn harrowing, but oh so fucking GOOD)

you may have already heard of this one, but if you havent you HAVE to read it it's so good. it's an SBI modern au that is so good and very angst heavy, but in the best way possible. it's got poet!tommy with some awesome writing and really cool poetry! i dont feel like this summary is doing it justice, just go read it please it's beautiful (~42k, unfinished)

this is an SBI superhero fic! well, more like supervillain fic. tommy is an ex-vigilante who was betrayed by villain!SBI and now spends his time in the sky and doesn't talk to anyone. this changes, however, when wilbur falls sick and tommy is the only one who can heal him, so the rest of SBI work to find tommy and convince him to heal wilbur. angsty, but very cool character dynamics. check warnings tho, it's tagged Dark SBI (~50k, unfinished)

ok this one is kind of hard to summarize but its so good and i think everyone should read it (it's by the same author as Rewind) and the basic plot premise is that there's an "ARG" being held on twitch that details the lives and times of Dr Underscore, a fictional scientist living in a really intricate fantasy world. the "ARG" picks up steam pretty fast and gets popular (and is watched by dteam + wilbur) because of how well done and realistic looking everything is. unbeknownst to all the viewers, the ARG isn't actually an ARG, and instead it's livestreams of a real fantasy world, and all the characters are real people who don't know about the livestreams. it's so good and intriguing and i like it a lot! (~54k, unfinished)

there's also some fics that i feel like are ones that most people who read mcrp fic have read (passerine, tumoasd, etc) so you might wanna also read those if you're just now getting into it! hope this helps anon :D
