YES
And yes to your tags.
All of yeses + sad Manwë the best Manwë (sorry i just can't relate to a character who has no evil nor grief nor strong crazy, I love them but). Sad Manwë my brainrot, braiding his hair asking Ingwë to show him how the Vanyar braid their hair for mourning and then cutting them after Morgoth is thrown out, but with how the Ainur are it doesn't really cut anything and why dos he still feel so much and i really should go write stuff for my event, but Manwë braiding his hair in the mourning pattern by brainrot (and yes, he did get over it, he did get those feelings gone eventually) I'm not gonna spam you with too edgy brainrots but even so, sad Manwë :(
[also, sad about Feanor, in part because simply what Feanor did to himself and others, in part because of the similarities between Feanor and Melkor, in part because Feanor ending like that…. making Valinor and inviting the Elves did contribute to this and Manwë is sorry, he is always sorry when he made a slightest mistake or was unable to do something, I'm sorry if this is too much imperfect-Valar for you, I tried to moderate]
And everyone (ok not everyone but many) blame Manwë for being "a bad king" and indecisive and what not when they were supposed to work in tandem but. but.
Now he has to do 200% of the work (half of which he is very much not suited to) and also counter Morgoth as much as he can
Making myself sad about Manwë right now: how his brother has pretty much manage to convince himself he's been usurped, and meanwhile Manwë is somewhere in the corner like, "I never wanted this; I would have been perfectly content to follow you if you hadn't gotten it in your head to become the personification of evil."
