I’ve currently got another Arthur fic and an Ollie Bearman fic in the works. I just wanted to write this little one as thank you for your kind words and requests. It’s also kind of based off how you felt today, enjoy ☺️

Arthur Leclerc x reader

Synopsis: After a bad day, Arthur just wants to make you feel all better

(He’s such a cute, lil smiley boyyyyy 😍)

You woke up on the wrong side of the bed, you felt down and depressed all day for no reason. Unfortunately, Arthur wasn’t around and wouldn’t be back for another 3 days. All you wanted to do was cuddle up and watch movies with him.

You stayed on the couch, drowning in your favourite hoodie of Arthur’s, watching your comfort tv show. You heard the door at the front of the apartment unlock, keys jangling as the door was pushed open. You pulled the baseball bat out from under the couch and crept over to the wall next to the hallway.

You heard shoes being toed off, sock padded feet slowly walking down the hallways. You waited for the footsteps to come closer before you stepped out from the wall. You swung the bat.

“OHHH HOLY SHIT BABY ITS ME” Arthur screamed in his Monegasque accent. You immediately dropped the bat, “oh my god, Arty! You’re not suppose to be here for 3 days!” Arthur smirked when he said “I know. I wanted to surprise you, gorgeous”

Tears sprung to your eyes and you buried yourself in your boyfriend. Your arms wrapped around his neck, your nose pressing against his jugular as you deeply inhaled his cologne. Arthur’s hands firmly wrapped around your waist, he kissed your temple and leaned his head against yours.

He felt teardrops on his collarbone, prompting him to let go for a second. He found you with wet eyes, teardrop stains down your cheeks. “Bèbè, what’s wrong?” Arthur pouted. He raised his hand and wiped your tears. You made eye contact with him and the flood gates opened.

You weren’t sad about anything in particular, you just started babbling about anything and everything. Arthur guided you to the couch and sat down, pulling you on top of him and he laid down. Your legs ended up in either side of his body, your chin rested on his chest, your noses nearly bumping.

Arthur let you get it all out, contently listening. After you finished, Arthur extended his neck and pecked your lips. “It’s ok to feel like this, love” you kissed him again “thank you Arty” you had cried yourself to exhaustion, he could see your eyes started to droop. He pulled the couch blanket over you both as he watched you fall asleep.

“Good night, my love” he said as he kissed your nose, “I love you, bad day or good day, I don’t care.” You lazily smile and confessed “I love you” back to him, drifting off to sleep. Arthur followed you not long after.

You knew being out in the cold and the rain would eventually catch up to him. And, of course, he always ignored you. Bruce tended to brush off anything concerning his health, and it stressed you out. Whether you asked him about a jacket, or even to sleep in a little longer, he always denied it. So when you heard sniffling coming from his side of the bed, you knew he was in for a few days of rest, even if he didn’t want it. 

You glance toward Bruce next to you, reading the morning paper and barely touching his food, his shoulders slumped more than usual. His constant sniffling makes you worry. Reaching over to rest your hand on top of his, you pull his attention away from the newspaper and onto you, “Are you feeling alright?” His palm turns over and interlaces your fingers, giving them a soft squeeze. 

“Yeah,” his voice revealed the stuffiness of his nose, “I’m fine.” He checks the time before quickly changing the subject, “Don’t you have to be at work? It’s getting late.” 

You’re studying his features as he speaks before you let go of his hold to bring the backside of your hand to feel his forehead, the skin hot to the touch. “Bruce, you’re burning up. I’ll take the day off, so that means you have to, too,” you walk over to Alfred to inform him of Bruce’s current state. 

“(Y/N), I told you that I’m fine,” a tone of annoyance hidden in his voice, followed by a nasty cough. You know that he doesn’t want to abandon his work for a single day. His work trumps his health, according to his logic. 

This pulls both your and Alfred’s attention. “Well,” you sigh playfully, “I guess Alfred can cuddle you back to health if you don’t need any of my help today!” You return to the dining table where Bruce still sits and pick up your purse. Leaning down to press a quick peck to the top of Bruce’s head, you add, “I’ll be off then…”

As you make your way to the front doors, a voice shouts your way, “Wait!” You peer over your shoulder to see Bruce standing, his eyes pleading for you to stay. “ I don’t feel…the best,” he mutters.

You fully face him, waiting for him to say something else, but he doesn’t, so you give him a push of encouragement. “You don’t feel the best, and you what,” you ask him in a sing-song voice. You know you’re pushing it a bit, but you still stand there waiting for his response. 

“...And I would like for you to stay here. With me,” he adds. 

This makes you grin as you walk over to Bruce, enveloping him in a hug. Bringing up your hand to brush his hair out of his face, you peck his forehead, “You’re stubborn, you know that right?” 

You only receive a huff in response, but you’re satisfied. As the two of you walk up the stairs and back to bed, Alfred can’t help but chuckle at the two of you. You have Bruce wrapped around your finger, and he loves it.

Gojo’s method of trying to comfort you is trying to make you laugh. 

Gojo is the “Run from you emotions and never ever ever confront that shit” and while he would never push that on to you, it’s how he knows how to cope

He’d hold you close while making soft jokes just to try and make you smile

Hopefully if you’re with Gojo you have a sense of humor, even a dark one, so hopefully it doesn’t hurt your feelings more.

If it does, he P A N I C S but internally to not stress you out more. Outwardly he softly apologizes and shuts the hell up

Which is honestly probably what you need as well

He brings you tea for sure

Tea is warm and safe and comforting, and here: Put it inside you, it helps

Making him feel better is a little more straightforward. 

Make him laugh, make him giggle, joke around with him anything. 

When Gojo is sad, the last thing he wants to do is think about it. That can be saved for late at night when he can't sleep. For now, he just wants to take his mind off of it. 

So just make him laugh. It won’t be hard honestly. 

Sit with him and distract him, he’ll feel better eventually. 

Your proximity to him ensures that.

Suguru Geto

His comfort is quiet. It’s him holding you while you cry into him, assuring you it will all be ok.

It’s gentle forehead kisses and back rubbing while you cuddle on the bed

He wraps the two of you in your favorite blanket and turning on your comfort medias. 

He’s willing to cancel the day and just stay with you and be there for you when you’re upset, honestly

He’s dedicating all of his time and love into you while you're emotionally recovering

And when he’s upset he honestly just wants the same thing.

He wants you to rest your head on his chest and tell him how much you love him.

He needs to know you're going to be there for him, no matter what and unconditionally. 

Geto is in an almost constant emotional pain, and he’s extremely good at hiding it. 

So when it gets to the point that it’s visible you know it’s bad. It’s soul crushing.

And a part of him hates the fact that all it takes is a hug from you to soothe that pain, just a little.

A part of him is relieved that he has you to remove some of this immense emotional burden off of him.

But 100% of him is positive that he needs you, more than he needs air. 

So just hug him for a little bit when he’s sad, yea?

Kento Nanami

He does the guy thing where he tries to find solutions

Even if you don’t want solutions.

He copes with his own sadness by trying to solve the problem, so logically that would help others, right?

But, if you communicate with him that you don’t want solutions you just want to vent, he will shut up and listen. 

But, ya gotta communicate that first. 

He’d probably make you your favorite warm meal while you talk as well, that way you have another form of comfort when you finished venting.

He makes that as well as your favorite hot drink

When he’s upset, he wants to talk about it.

He wants you to sit with him and come up with ways to try and solve the situation. Just talking with you helps really

He finds your voice rather soothing

And if there really is no way possible to fix it, he wants a distraction. 

Talk to him about the weather, what shows you like, how your day has been.

He doesn't want to waste energy on what he can’t fix. 

He'd rather pour that energy into you.

Ryomen Sukuna

AH SHIT, HERE WE GO AGAIN

I struggle so hard anytime yall want Sukuna to get all cute and fluffy because he Does. Not. Function. Like That!

Sukuna doesn’t do comfort. When he sees you cry he gets annoyed. 

He tells you to stop, like full stop my guy lmaooo

He’s like throwing toilet paper rolls at you like “Tears! Ahh! Dry them, Dry them!”

….Buuuuuutttt It wouldn’t be my Sukuna if he didn’t have a soft spot.

Sukuna is avoiding you, yes. But, you do find small comforts around the house. Ones that he surely left you. 

Little candies or even flowers.

And eventually, late at night, he does come around to hold you while you drift into sleep. 

Not for you though, not at all. All of this is for him…somehow. Just trust me, ok!

When he’s upset, if you were smart you’d steer clear of him.

But you’re in love with Sukuna, so how smart could you be?

That was a self burn btw.

Comforting Sukuna is honestly just being domestic with him. 

DO NOT acknowledge the fact he’s in pain. That's calling him out for being vulnerable and that will not end well. 

But, do make him some tea and talk to him about your day. Ask him to sit with you while you tend to the flowers, or walk the grounds with you. Cuddle into his side while “forcing” him to watch something on tv.

Those are the little things he needs. Despite what Ryomen says, he’s completely and utterly in love with you, you being alive is testament to that. So when he’s upset, all he wants to do is be near you. 

Ryomen is constantly paranoid that you don't actually have feelings for him. For all intents and purposes, you shouldn’t. So, when he gets even a little bit of confirmation that you actually do love him too, that’s all he needs to feel even a little bit better.

You've been doing just work, work and work everyday. Going to work at 10AM, coming home till 6:30PM, then preparing dinner, eating it and sleeping that's your daily routine.

You're a person who always overthink and worry about things and your anxiety doesn't help at all.

So, you can't help but be nervous about meeting Mingyu again like what if you embarrass yourself? Cause you tend to do that a lot,you feel awkward until you get close and comfortable enough with that person. You're an introvert who needs their time before showing them the real you , so you're always on the edge when things are new.

Well good for you, Mingyu being the friendly, super extrovert and the cutest hyperactive puppy he's, he's perfect for you, someone you need in your life, he's gonna make it so much easier for you and you're about to discover all of that.

You're on your bed scrolling through social media.

Other than Chan you're pretty close with Seungkwan and then Seokmin. So it doesn't surprise you when Seungkwan texts you.

You booked an uber, Seungkwan and Jeonghan's place was hardly half an hour away.

You reach there and knock on their door, which chan opens for you ..teasing you the instant he saw you ..

"Ohhoo you missed me that much,as soon as hyung said I'm here you came here? come on we just saw each other 3days back" he says with playful eyes and fake pout.

You scowl at him, swatting him on side of his head, out of your way. "Get out of my way I'm not here for you."  "SEUNGKWANNNN" you call out to him.

You're looking for him when chan spots the food in your hand and tries to steal it , you're trying to stop him not letting him take it, screaming at him when Seungkwan comes .."Seungkwan help he's trying to steal your food." You say still fighting with chan.

You give the food quickly to seungkwan which he takes and scolds chan saying "It's mine she brought it for me"

Chan whines,"But it seems enough for 2 people plus we already ate ,we can share ,you guys are purposely doing this to me"

"Oh damn, thought your dumb ass won't get it,but yes that's what we're doing" you say while seungkwan snickers.

Chan huffs at you two. While seungkwan says opening his arms wide, "You come here "

You smile ear to ear looking at him going to hug him. He pats your back, giving you the warmest hug ever. Then he ushers you to sit beside him on the couch.

Chan then says in a pout, "wah I didn't even get a hug you greeted me by hitting me."

"Well you deserved it." You make faces at him he huffs at you.

Meanwhile Seungkwan is eating the food you brought,"oh my god what did you put in this, why is it so delicious" he's literally eating in awe, hurriedly, while his eyes are round fixed on the food.

"Really ? That good? ...thank youuu I'm glad you like it .. please eat a lot."

Then you put some in a plate and give it to chan, he smiles sheepishly at you "I was waiting, I knew you will give it to me. "

Well ofcourse you'll, you were just teasing him before.

You smile at him "yeah eat well, also there's dessert here, I'm sure you'll like it,it's my favourite one I always make it."

"Woah you make dessert as well ? You really do work hard ,meanwhile there's us eating takeouts and ramyeon" seungkwan says amusingly.

You laugh, "well I do that as well, but you can't help but make it when you miss your homemade food . And the dessert lol I have this weird habit , I've to have something sweet while eating or after eating that's why I always have something sweet prepared."

"Woah that's amazing" says seungkwan.

"Y/n omg you really are such a great cook you can't blame me when I crash at yours for dinner " says chan while munching the food.

You say," well I don't mind but dude inform me beforehand, I don't always have extra food prepared and then you eat all of it"

Jeonghan comes out of his room because of the chaos. Then he spots you, "oh y/n, hiii ,didn't know you were here ..what's up how have you been " he asks giving you a smile.

You smile back at him, " Hey jeonghan I'm good how are you?"

"I'm good, I'm good" he says while taking a seat beside chan.

They finish eating, Chan brings beers from fridge, for you all. You're drinking while seungkwan is telling you something funny that happened today, how chan was doing something cool but ended up making fool of himself.

Doorbell rings and chan goes to the door.

"-and then there was silence for a minute and then everyone burst out laughing." You're laughing loudly, a genuine laugh bubbles out of you while saying,

"oh my god he's such such a clown.. godddd -"

You stop suddenly when you noticed who chan came in with.

It's seungcheol and there stands Mingyu beside him looking all surprised .

Well it's a pleasant one for him, but you, you stop talking and just look shocked.

His heart skips a beat when he spots you, and yours can't stop beating fast. You're both looking at each other,when Seungcheol speaks,"oh hey y/n ..and are y'all having a party without us, should've waited for us "

You say hii to him, Then jeonghan speaks ,"You're early I thought you said you'll come till 11?"

"Well we finished early " seungcheol says shrugging.

And suddenly you feel nervous among so many people.

Jeonghan and cheol go inside saying they planned to do a weverse live together .You feel a little relieved at that. And also tf is wrong with you , why are you thinking about your appearance you were fine until now, is it mingyu ? You care about how he sees you,you wanted to look good infront of him? oh my god why..you shrug off those thoughts quickly.

And you manage to give a smile to Mingyu.

He smiles back saying, "heyy...this is a very pleasant surprise-"

"Yeah which I didn't plan" chan says with a scared expression putting his both hands up.

You huff and Mingyu snorts at him.

"Calm down, I didn't say anything" you say.

" Hyungg try this y/n brought it, she made it ,it's really good" seungkwan says passing mingyu the dessert container.

Mingyu takes it curiously "Oh really"

"Oh my god-"  he looks up after eating, mouth open,eyes wide.

"You made that?? It's really really good."

You nod at him saying "thank you."

A few minutes pass, they are talking and are involving you as well, you talk a little.

Mingyu keeps stealing glances at you, wishing for those two to leave you two alone.

Unknowingly you're stealing glances at him as well.

You notice the time it's getting late,you need to sleep, there's work tomorrow, so you say , "ok I'll go now, you guys carry on, I'll see you later..."

"Oh wait I'll drop you off" chan says getting up.

Seungkwan stops him "Hello genius you can't ,we had drinks just now if you forgot"

"Oh shit yeah" says chan.

"It's ok I'll book uber, it's not that far anyway-"

Chan cuts you off, "no you're not going anywhere alone at this time-"

"It's ok I can drop you, I know your address as well" Mingyu says casually with a hint of mischief in the last part.

And tf is wrong with your face ,you're not blushing are you and your heart is at it again.

You open your mouth to deny but he cuts you off-

"Nuh-uh I'm not taking no for an answer, it's ok I can drop you off ,let's go"

There's chan trying to supress his big smile but failing so bad and seungkwan also has a mischievous smile on his face.

You sigh internally. Chan gives you a hug telling you to take care, seungkwan also hugs you. You bid them bye and go with Mingyu.

He's driving when he says, "It's like God wants us to meet don't you think ? "

"Um not sure about that, I think you somehow you found out I'm there and that's why you came early ."

He can see that you're teasing him you're trying to supress your smile.

"Heyy" he says scoldingly

"Sorry,sorry I'm just kidding" you laugh at him.

He whines ,"Not you toooo, you know literally everybody teases me all the time."

"I knowww" you laugh again.

He gives a scandalised expression, "what do you mean you know?  don't tell me you've watched our videos."

"I might have" you say, a big smile on your face.

He groans," ughh that's embarrassing."

"No, it's not, I think they tease you because they love you. Personally teasing is my love language"

At that, He looks at you at the speed of light, raising both of his eyebrows

"What?" You ask confused.

"You are saying you're using your love language with me? Does that mean you like me?" He's looking at the road ahead lowkey smirking.

He thinks he's too smart, isn't he. No matter how much you're freaking out, you won't back down from a challenge. So you say, "What if I do? "

He almost hits a car, his eyes popping out of the sockets looking at you.

"You can't just do that what if I caused an accident" he whines.

You laugh at him , "well you started it."

He tries to supress his smile,"You're a dangerous one aren't you"

"You're provoking me ..you don't want me answer you back rn, trust me then you'll whine again if you hit something "

Mingyu's heart is beating fast, even missing a few beats.

"Why what will you say? " He asks voice small.

"I'm not telling"

"That's not fair"

"No that was no filter me it just came out of nowhere"

"Now I'm real curious"

"Keep on being curious then" you laugh at him.

"Ugh you're insufferable" he's smiling while saying it tho .

You tell him to pull over when you spot a convience store near your apartment.

"Wait here I'll be back quickly" you tell him through the window before running inside the store.

He chuckles muttering a "cuteee" .

You come back with two icecreams in your hand and give one to him.

He furrows his eyebrows," thank you but what is this for"

"Um just because..I thought I'd give you a treat " you shrug.

He gives you a big smile, "wait you're not bailing me on Sunday ,are you?" He asks teasingly

"No why I would I, I still owe you that one." You tell him.

"Hmm good " he says while giving you cute little smile.

And when he drops you at home , and when you're trying to sleep, all you can think about is the moments between you and Mingyu. And his gorgeously beautiful smile.

And you're like ..what's happening to me ??? I met seungkwan and chan as well we had fun too, why am I thinking about him only.

Needless to say his smile is the only thing you see before closing your eyes, and after opening them the next morning and the day after that and the day after that....

“Please, Sir. I’ll keep up, or you can leave me behind. Just… go back to your boys.” Sky yanked himself out of Time’s grip and wrapped his arms around himself.  “Please.” His voice threatened to break and he looked away. Why wouldn’t the eldest just… go?

“Sky…” Time caught his arm. No, not in front of Time. Not when he was holding on to…everything by a thread. “I am with one of my boys.What’s wrong?” And the kindness in Time’s voice was the final straw. 

“I haven’t slept more than a half watch in two weeks.” He admitted. “I’m exhausted and Surface Sick but…” here he stopped as his voice choked. “I just need…” Another sob he fought to stifle. He needed the nightmares to let him sleep. He needed his head and body to quit aching. He was already a burden to the other heroes. He pushed through this on his adventure. He’d do it again…

There was a clatter as a golden gauntlet dropped to the ground and a cool wrist was lightly pressed against his forehead, then the eldest hero carefully pulled him into a hug and it was at that point that Sky fully lost his grip on everything and sobbed into Time’s chest.

Sky collapsed into him, sobbing and Time caught the Chosen hero and fought to contain the panic. The boy had a fever. He wasn’t sure what Surface Sick meant other than Sky seemed familiar with it, some sort of illness obviously. Then there was their current situation. They’d hoped to reach a town soon. It would be better to stock up on supplies and catch news of their quarry but could they even move if Sky was very bad off? He knew the Chosen would feel awful about disrupting the group’s travel but he couldn’t imagine forcing pace when the boy was sick and clearly exhausted. All this was currently being frantically pushed to a back burner as the urgent issue was a teenager breaking down with a simple hug. 

“It’ll be ok, Sky.” He assured, shifting to take more of the Chosen’s weight. "I've got you, it'll be ok."

Time was saved from trying to come up with more than reassurances by the noise of rustling in the bushes and the emergence of Wolfie from the undergrowth. For a wolf, the expression was clear concern. It required shifting the Chosen in his arms to sign. So he ended up making an executive decision then and there.

"Go tell everyone to settle in for a bit. We're overdue for a rest day anyway." His pup nodded and trotted off towards camp. He turned his attention to Sky, whose cries had subsidided into exhausted shudders. He needed to get the Chosen somewhere he could rest.

"Let's get you back to bed, Sky." He shifted to pick the Skyloftian knight up, only getting a miserable whine in response. "It'll be ok, Kid." He hummed the Goron Lullaby as he walked. Twilight was human once more as Time approached the edge of camp. Now came the hard part, convincing the boys to not ask too many questions yet. He needn't have worried. Warriors had most of the others occupied with sword work or sparring. Twilight helped him get Sky wrapped up in his bedroll so he could rest. Wild broke from the group long enough to hand over a potion meant to keep a hylian from overheating in desert sun, hopefully it would help against a fever.

"How's he doing?" Wars asked quietly as he dropped to a crouch beside them. Sky was sleeping once more, albeit fitfully. Wild’s exilir plus a damp cloth had done wonders for Sky’s fever. But it was clear the young knight was still struggling.

"Better, a little..." Time turned his attention to Sky as the Chosen’s breath hitched and he began showing signs of distress. The cloth had lost its cooling properties anyway so Time carded a hand through Sky’s hair as he resolved the cloth. It seemed to soothe him.

"Anything you need?" Wars asked once Sky had settled once more.

These kids to stop breaking my heart. Was his immediate thought, but he shook his head. "Unless you know how to fix what's kept him from sleeping and made him ill..."

Warriors smiled ruefully. "We'll just have to keep an eye out. I'll switch you out when you need a break or in two more hours, whichever comes first. Ok, Sprite?"

Time nodded with a small chuckle. The Captain knew him too well to not set deadlines. He'd stay as long as it took to take care of his boys otherwise.

Just imagine you are the game with Lewis and you saw that he cant continue anymore and you are like “ pls don’t no no no” while having your hands to your face/mouth and when you saw he is getting subbed off your lips starts to tremble and your eyes are filled with tears and when Lewis sees you he softens and he’s like “ oh cmon here” and hugs you and you start to cry in your hands bc you can’t believe it. After you calm down a little are like “I can’t believe it and it’s so not fair, he deserves more and he was so happy he was starting again” while your voice trembles a bit and are like “I have to go to him rn” and you stand up and Lewis catches your arm and he’s like “you can’t go there sweet not yet at least you have to wait up” and you just cant be like “I can’t wait I need to see him now and reassure him, I can’t stay here knowing he is there and not ok”. Eventually you go and enter the dressing room and he looks up all teary and you immediately are by his side and take him in your arms and try to calm and reassure him and are like “ it’s ok baby I’m right here, let go, it’s fine bubba” and he sobs in your neck and your heart breaks and you feel like crying all over again but you have to be strong for him. After he calm down a bit he stays in your arms with his head on your chest and you run your fingers through his hair and kiss his head from time to time and he is like” I can’t believe it, not again, it’s setback after setback and once again I disappoint everyone” and that’s when you intervene “ baby look at me, you couldn’t ever disappoint anyone especially me and your loved ones bubs. You were just unlucky in that moment and it happened and we couldn’t do too much about it now, you are so talented my love and you’ll bounce back again better than ever. It’s going to be ok bubs and you aren’t alone, we are going through this together. It’s okay to feel upset and angry and you have every right but it breaks my heart to see you like this. I love you sm and we are in this together. And he gets so emotional and you feel him and he kisses you while telling you he loves you and he rests his head again on you needing comfort and loving from you still. After a while Lewis calls you that you have to leave and we all meet after the game finishes in the carpark. It’s hard for you to leave knowing that he is in this condition but he says he’ll see you soon and pecks your lips. Fast forward the game finishes and you can’t wait to get home and baby him. Lewis drives and mason is in the passenger seat and from time to time you caress his arm. When you arrived home, ace comes immediately so happy to see you and mase becomes grumpy and he goes straight upstairs after you asked him if he wants smth to eat as he snaps he isn’t hungry. You don’t take it to hear bc you know he doesn’t mean it but you can’t say it ain’t hurt you. You saw that Lewis wanted to say smth to him and you’re like “ it’s okay Lew don’t worry, just let him cool down”. In the meantime you and Lewis eat and you put masons plate in the microwave to keep it warm and get ready for bed but stayed a bit on the couch with Lewis and ace staying next to you ready to be pet by you. After a while, mason comes all cozy and sits next you and hugs you so tight and he’s muttering I’m sorry and you soften and are like “it’s okay baby don’t worry” and he’s like “ no it’s not, I can’t do it without you bubs and I shouldn’t have snapped at you” and you just kiss him to reassure him it’s alright and forgiven and he cuddles you while also petting ace who is next to you and talking to Lewis also and you are content that he is feeling a little bit better 🫂🥰

Lewis being there for you and knowing how much you’re hurting, but he knows he can’t stop you when you try to go to the dressing room to see him, knowing it’ll only make you more upset not being able to talk to him

Luckily the staff at United would recognise you and on that occasion would let you through because the game is still going and they won’t need the dressing room any time soon and god is mason happy to see you 😭 you’re his comfort and he feels better whenever he’s in your arms

And when he snaps at you once you’re home you know he doesn’t mean it and is just frustrated so you give him some time alone no matter how much you want to go and be there for him 🥺 knowing he’s hurting when you can’t do anything about it is horrible but you know that he’ll come back to you when he’s ready and he eventually does, finding you down stairs with Lewis who leaves not long after to give you and Mason some space and you spend the rest of the evening cuddling on the sofa, talking about what comes next and reassuring him that you’ll be there every step of the way no matter how long the recovery takes

and in target, I get super panicky to be locked inside. the fact i can’t sleep in my cozy bed stresses me out but i try to hide it and put on a brave face but i’m not good at it and he sees right through me!!!! he distracts me by playing house, puts on a frilly apron and “grills” beef jerky on a display bbq pit, in the little summer backyard patio display section in the back of the store,,,, he has me sit down and serves me little jerky strips while he’s yapping and making quips about what a nice day it is to be barbecuing :’) he’s such a cutie. n then after we eat little makeshift meals that he put together out of random pantry items, he can tell i’m feeling a little better, rubs a hand on my knee to reassure me a lil more. suggests a fashion show! picks out clothes he wants to see me in and shoves me in the dressing rooms. claps and cheers so loud it echoes n it makes me giggle. once he gets me smiling and laughing he feels content. spends most of the night trying to distract me n make sure i’m comfortable— the display beds are so uncomfortable it makes us laugh and we hardly even sleep. it ends up being a rly unexpected bonding experience for us <3 :’)

This is literally everything I love about this band in a nutshell bc 1) this is literally a book they put out with their 7th record You Are OK which like. Need more be said on that album title? And they were just like “hey we not only want to do this record but we want to show you our headspace while we were writing it and let you know we see you and this is how we got here.”

2) the reason they can be like “fuck it lets also do a book” is because they have been completely 100% independent since 2011 (cough fuck Warner Bros cough) and it ALLOWS them to have the mindset Evan mentions. They DID the big label and the one hit in 2008. They could have probably been playing arenas and getting radio play on the alt stations long before now, but they aren’t. Which brings me to 3) because they want to do things authentically and not just churn out money.

This is the band that did a FOR FREE TOUR. AN ENTIRE TOUR!! WHERE YOUR TICKET WAS FREE. JUST SHOW UP. They *CALL YOU* when you pre order their record just to say thanks (and sometimes to prank you but that’s a story for another time #BigStimmyEnergy)

They hop down off stage right after the gig and take photos with as many people as they can. I’ve met these guys more times than I could accurately count. My cousins thought I was dating Jared the guitarist cuz I had him in so many of my profile pics on Facebook 😂 I have NEVER done a paid m&g for TM because their whole THING is “we want to meet you too. Come talk to us.” They don’t HAVE m&g, they have Pat the drummer slinging merch or the post-show hangs or walking the line while everyone is queuing. I think it’s harder to NOT meet TM than to actually meet them 😂

They make it SO OBVIOUS that they care and want to have success in the industry yes, but not at the expense of us. And that is so incredibly rare. I never question if the guys in TM are good people - I sometimes question if they think their shit through enough and definitely know they stumble like everyone. But I never question their intentions. Or where their hearts are.

They’d rather be where they are and happy than the next big thing.

I will bite and pick at the skin around my nails constantly. My nail beds are atrocious, but also delicious.

I will also pick at any loose skin on my arms/legs

I will twirl my hair.

I am currently biting the inside of my lip (the outsides of my lips are irritated because Ive been chewing on them constantly)

I typically will bite my hand when I am working on something and need focus.

I have given myself a bruise, or a hickey like bruise on my chin from pinching it so hard while working on something. It looks like I fell

I will pick at my scalp, disgusting I know

then theres all the rest of shit the internet tells you, like hyperfixating in a song or a tv show or not being able to fall asleep, or sounds...

I just need someone to tell me I'm not the only one struggling because if I speak about it irl I am told that I have no isses and like to stop biting my nails hands etc

I just need idk someone to either tell me nah we all do this you aren't special oooorrrr not everyone does this but it's ok we get it (it might not be anything outside of ordinary but idk)

As for my own response, let me say a few things:

Firstly, I wish I could give you a hug. Alas we are gonna have to use emojis 🫂🫂🫂🫂

Second, I have been formally diagnosed with ADHD and I do most of these things if not all of them. Especially the skin of my fingers thing. I would show you my thumbs right now it weren’t kinda weird and gross to put that out there lmao.

HOWEVER, I’m not qualified to diagnose you, and, my guess is, these symptoms of behaviors could be indicative of other causes. Maybe like really high anxiety or something else. I’m not N expert so I’m not going to do you a disservice by incorrectly diagnosing you.

My therapist usually distinguishes between “weird little quirks” and actual symptoms by asking “does it interfere with your day to day life?” Like the hyper-fixating and the not sleeping and all those things. Do they get in the way of you functioning? If you think “yes” then maybe yeah you need a professional diagnosis.

I can’t weigh in on whether or not it’s normal because I’m not normal, lmao. But I can say that I understand 100%. I do that stuff too. And what I can do is ask where you live (only if you’re comfortable sharing) cuz maybe someone on here could be able to help connect you with a professional who’s understanding of your financial situation? Or like maybe someone knows about resources in your area?

If you’re a student, maybe ask your health center for a referral. Usually they’re good about payments for students.

Ok I need to rant to someone so I hope this is okay

I was getting ready for bed and went into the living room to make sure everything is okay and safe (making sure the doors are locked,lights are out Ect Ect.) (also I live with my mother, her boyfriend, my sister, and my brother)

When I was making sure the door was closed properly I heard my mothers boyfriend (let’s call him V) make a comment I asked what trying to make sure I heard what he said correctly

I did indeed hear him correctly “boogy man Tom is gonna come”

It might not seem important but it is

Tom is the name of my bio father he is an awful who was abusive, homophobic, racist, transphobic and a bunch of other things  which still bother me

A thing you should know is hearing toms name always upsets me (I can type it but if I hear it spoken I flinch, and my breath stops for a moment)

I also have PTSD from two incidents one from a ex best friend who threatened to stab me and then proceeded to bring a knife to school (luckily another (toxic) ex best friend told me about it which I proceeded to tell my mom and the cops got involved and I was safe physically at least)

Second traumatic experience is from my father (let’s just leave it at that) (I also get nightmares from it/about him chasing my mother, my siblings and I around trying to hurt us)

Anyways after he said that she kind of froze and I swear to god I heard him laugh

I was extremely angry and wanted to punch him

Now I just want to forget he even brought him up

I’m falling asleep right now so I have to go to bed

I just hope I don’t have nightmares about him

The Pokémom arrived as soon as he heard his master, hugging him and comforting him patting his head to make him feel better

As the time passed Renee was resting on her Bed, the fever got a little worse but she knew as long as she rested she will be fine. UNTIL! a knock on her door can be heard while a timid voice tried to make it is way.

"my sunshine... are you there?... Smeargly are you sure this is the number? I know this is where she usually stay when she visits Johto"

A rustle can be heard when the door opened slowly "Kaede?... what are you doing here?" Before she could finish the man made his way inside the apartment, placing his things and searching for something on his bag. His Smeargle holding Ren hand to guide her back to the bed "Kaede!! If you stay you will catch my cold...I appreciate the visit but i don't want you to get sick!!" the man pulled what it seems a container with some home made soup and looked at her "Nonsense!! The great Kaede never fall sick! Now my dearest you shall rest and under my charge you will heal!" The pokémon looked at him with the most poker face a pokémon could make, if he could speak will definitly said "really?!?! Never?!?!" Ren apprecaited the gesture she giggle of how cute he could be sometimes with her.

She let herself rest, Kaede tucked her into the bed, placed a wet towel under her head and feed her the soup he made for her, it wasnt the best but it had the best intention. Ren feel content slowly falling asleep "thank you..." giving him a tender smile while finally letting herself be dragged by the world of dreams. Kaede smiled whispering a small "everything for you my dearest shine of light" patting her head he planted a small kiss on her lips and started drawing until she wakes up again.

After some time Ren heal and was like a new person! But now.... the one sick was Kaede resting on the bed of his studio on his pjs the man speaked with a drowzi gaze and his Furret at his side while he was petting it "My dearest sunshine come closer...." the man called for Ren she scold him "I told you, that you will get sick... i appreciate it but i just knew it!!" placing a wet towel over his forehead, the man coughing "it was worth it... i will give my life for you... but listen..." Ren sit next to him he hold her hand and as he speaks "my shunshine... my light of life.. Renee my dearest, as my last words..." cough cough Ren and smeargle just looked at each other moving their heads in negation "darling you are not going to die..." she knew how dramatic he can be sometimes specially when sick, the man interrupted opening his eyes "But what if now i do!!!" Ren just tucked him back to bed and told him "not under my watch now rest you doofus!"

Kaede did as Ren told him, he knew she was right... it was hard for him but he was happy that now she was back to normal, it was the only thing that mattered to him, seen his light of sunshine back at her brigthest self.
