band of brothers episodes ranked to me a few days post-first viewing: (girl who will almost definitely for sure change her mind once she rewatches)

10. part eight the last patrol. just didn’t have the sauce to me in the moment but since i saw it and especially since reading more about webster i think this one has the real potential to move up like crazy once i get to rewatch the whole thing

9. part three carentan. i loved this episode when i watched it. like genuinely i say with it for days and days. and that was mainly due to not having time to get to the next one. so i’m not rating it low in a malicious way i think that this one is good i just genuinely think the rest are next level great… you get me!

8. part one currahee. an excellent introductory episode fr. goes insane. alas it has to be so close to the bottom because the other ones are JUST THAT GOOD!!

7. part ten points. insane conclusion… the dread that hangs over them in austria when they think they could still be deployed to the pacific because japan hasn’t surrendered yet and the fact that none of them have enough points to go home despite literally having been through every horrible thing you can imagine... dick wanting to transfer to just get it over with because he is SUCH an impatient cunt, and nix wanting to go with him because they always stay together… he can’t let him go alone… i actually have more shit to say about them in this episode but here is not the place check back later

6. part six bastogne. incredible fucking episode. maybe even the best. made me cry my eyes out like a baby like four different times when i watched it. wild. i love you eugene roe….

5. part four replacements. bull randleman!!! the whole episode i was like woah guy who should be dead but somehow is staying alive… possible i’ve been holding this episode up as better because it took me so long between 3 and 4 so i was just really really excited to watch 4 and that made it better. so what i loved it…

4. part nine why we fight. probably the actual best episode in the series. can’t call it a favorite though because to be real with you this one was devastating start to finish i don’t think i was happy even once during its runtime… and it was awesome of course but imagine me screaming in passionate anguish. yeah. this is probably how like. all those depressed romantic poets felt

3. part seven the breaking point. if you don’t fuck with the breaking point you are WRONG and you don’t fuck with ME. also die…. hell it was you first sergeant!!!!! my best friend forever carwood lipton…. you do not get it i loved that guy… i loved how in the next episode he had pneumonia and everyone was like here’s a blanket let me tuck you in why don’t you take a nap we love you so so so much get better <333 and he was like yeah yeah i’m trying to do my job guys i’m not a dainty victorian lady 🙄 and they were still all like ok well we love you BAD sorry for not wanting you to DIE. he’s like. everyone’s favorite <3 and i cannot fucking believe he’s donnie wahlberg. craziest twist i’ve ever experienced lowkey. i thought i was gonna hate this episode because i hate blue bloods soooo bad. and then that crazy son of a bitch did THAT…

2. part five crossroads. i love dick winters :) not even much more to say that hasn’t been said. i love that man…
