BUT. he and kuai keep in contact. its long distance and they make it work#sometimes scorpion vacays to Kuai's farm. as a treat. thats what this drawing is#i cant deny that i literally just want them to be happy ok. thats literally all i want for these gay old ninjas#bonus commentary: at the time of drawing this i was still figuring out how i wanted to draw hanzo. he's so fucking hard to draw#when i draw him without his mask or beard he looks so fucking off. but if i draw him with the beard it feels weird too.#babygirl why are you so hard to draw?? dont you want me to draw you?????

so i finished watching a no commentary playthrough of TWEWY a couple days ago. 10/10 story and characters, i literally loved it. favorite character ended up being neku (shocker its almost like hes been my pfps on literally everything for weeks now) but joshua and beat are close second and third. shiki is a lot of fun too :3c. ryhme ;w;. oh my gal ever you did not deserve that i literally screamed. why do they always have to take the autistic coded characters away from me dawg its not fair. ik she makes it out in the end (somehow im still kinda confused but idk probably joshua shit) but still. AND THE REVEAL IT WAS A REVERSE OF HOW THEY DIED,, HOLY FUCK ;w;
currently watching one of NEO: TWEWY so no spoilers. current fav character is Fret he's so fucking stupid. not a think rattling around up there. i could shake him around and just hear a marble or two maybe. if im lucky.

M*uthwashing was good, the only things i didn't enjoy lie in the area of writing (but so do some things i enjoyed the most!) - but I expected more from it? kinda?
#putting this into tags because spoilers ->#like ok let me get this out of the way. the only woman on the crew is the doctor and has problems related to pregnancy. groundbreaking.#but i have no problems with the rest of the cast. swansea's monologue was top notch#and you can see that everyone loved the cast because 90% of posts in the tags is JIMMY MUST DIE#so whatever.#my biggest gripe is that one delusional asshole is basically the root of all evil in the story#it makes the story not about how people deal with a horrific situation but about one man ruining everyone's lives. that seems flatter to me#so up until The Reveal the game is stellar to me#it would be so much tastier to me if it was curly after all. life sucks so much for everyone that the captain#decides to commit murder suicide - and then doesn't even die and condemns them all to a slow painful death#but instead it's ''a violent man with inferiority issues cracks under pressure and betrays everyone'' which. okay now that i've typed it out#doesn't sound too boring but still#my commentary#also since i'm here#watched another small sci-fi game about an au soviet 70s? space station manned by an AI and it reminded me how much i love sci fi#it's a 2001 a space odyssey-inspired game where you are woken up from cryogenic sleep on a space station#but it turns out that the station ai used alien mold to clone you and your coworker and thus circumvent the 3d(?) law of robotics#because neither of you is strictly speaking human anymore#the point was that the ai was like a child (and the mc who is a female psychologist in charge of working with the ai who had developed this#kinda mother-daughter relationship with the ai OF COURSE#anyway aside from the visuals and vibes/design the game is mid#but it made me crave a story where the ai is a child simply because it is easier to make a simpler ai and then to teach it instead of making#a full grown human-like intelligence#but then it does behave like a child. make a mess on accident and does its best to hide it. a staff member dies and it clones them to fix it#a chain of unfortunate events that happen only because this god child put in charge of the station wants its caretakers to not be upset#that would be mwah#i will need to check this wall fo text for spelling when i get home!

me after I watched Barbie: that was a 2 hour commercial for Barbie.
#I'm sorry I really did not like it.....#even when I try to analyze the movie's mechanics (rather than its social commentary) it's still not a good movie to me....#it really did just feel like a literal commercial -- a lot of flashy music costumes and pitches but no actual substance....sorry#so much of the characterization/suspense/setting would be thrown at you with a zingy one-liner and no further attempt to establish it....uh#like Mattel trying to capture Barbie and return her to Barbieland had 0 explanation for how they knew she was there...why it was important#to send her back...what would happen if they didn't send her back...and Mattel was not funny enough (to me) to ignore the lack of stakes lo#so that subplot did not emotionally engage me.....same with the Kens...their takeover was like....um. ok? what's actually at stake?#their world seemed to not have any disease so the status of 'doctor' didn't mean anything -- so why does it matter if Kens have that status#and they had no wars or crimes so who cares if Kens are president or judges...like....these are just titles!!! there's no value behind it!!#the most emotionally engaging part of that arc is Barbie losing her house#and I think they should have dug into that part more#but that scene is just zingy one liner after zingy one liner....god#marvel's obsession with zingy one liners has destroyed the brightest minds of our generation I fear#anyway....this is all before I even get into the social commentary....but I'll stop now lol

JUST finished Unlucky Monkey and MANNNN. The use of color and sound... so so so well done. ESPECIALLY sound- the scenes where stuff just gets completely drowned out are. chefs kiss. Also!! the heavy emphasis on luck/coincidence... I know i should've seen that coming goin by the title but its so neat to see how that was woven into the story! anyway 10/10 fun ride i enjoyed it

i'm SOOOO glad you enjoyed it tho !!!! as much as it is a comedy, it's also a REALLY good thriller and it's SO fun watching ttm's character spiral more and more throughout the movie and ultimately never getting what he wants in the end, just left to be tormented forever without receiving any satisfying punishment for it
i love the sound design of sabu films so much i HIGHLY recommend checking out sabu's other stuff (esp if they include ttm lol..... sabu loves putting ttm in situations and i love sabu for that). monday/mandei is another really good film in the same vein of Guy Whose Day Starts Bad Seemingly Gets Worse. if you ever wanna give it a watch, i watched it on this site here (tho warning, subs are missing sometimes BUT its generally easy to make out the context of what's happening. except for the ending uhhH BUT IT'S WORTH THE WATCH LOL)

#Ok so I had a seizure/ministroke at the age of 17 which wiped a lot of my brain's knowledge#I basically had to learn how to write and read again and it just hasn't been the same ever since#From straight A student I fell down to Ds because suddenly I had this impairment at the end of high school#Grammar punctuation etc absolutely GONE in my head#I've recovered as much as I could but I still do shitload of mistakes and errors and struggle with low key dysgraphia and dyslexia#(on top of really highkey dyscalculia)#And I tell this to people who edit and or grade my things! Like I'm trying very hard#Don't think I'm dumb just please lemme know if there's anything wrong I'll change it#And for some reason sooo many people disregard this and they're downright almost malevolent#Like it'd be enough if you just wrote There's a comma missing#And not make fun of the mangled sentence that comes out of me not using a comma there#Or if you find me using the wrong i/y in a verb just!!! It's a duty that can (and will, and has) potentially destroy him, even kill him, but one that he can't back down from or falter in because if Kariom makes a mistake?? Even one??? It's, to his understanding, completely over and he wouldn't be able to handle it. He cannot disappoint them, nor can he abandon them, and to fail in the slightest would be doing just that. It would be detrimental to the people that he loves and that, to say nothing of wider consequences, is unfathomable.))
