i havent even hit any of the big setpiece scenes, but reading umi makes me want to cry. again, haven't reread the answer arcs ever except for a couple of scenes in 7 and 8, so finally rereading these over a decade later, knowing what i know now and having sat on all of that info and mulled it over for that long..... even the most normal scenes are making me emotional aughhhhhh!!! ououughhhhh!!!!!

#constantly second guessing myself like 'is umi that good or did i just get into it at a pivotal moment in my life?'#no... it's just that good... what the hell!! it feels comforting idk... (which is wild to realize given everything that happens in umi lol)#i'm waiting for all of the ep5... yknow... waves vaguely... to start and break my heart into a million billion pieces...#but mannnnnnnn it's so good. the downtime is so good. the tension is so good. the horror is so good. the tenderness... ;-;#ok gonna stop blabbering!!!!!! i just missed this so much. nothing has hit quite like umi since i read it. <3 #046txt
