#ok but no I love jathar so much

oh my god I absolutely ADORE Jathar so much. I'm so glad I can finally talk about him now

rant + photos below. NO fastpass spoilers and 0 bias from fastpass episodes. This is going off my thoughts when I first saw him.

Ok first of all, just how enthusiastic he is?? He's a literal golden retriever omg.

the way his eyes lit up with joy when he saw not one but TWO ah'kons with their hair grown out, one even partially dyed / bleached. They had earrings, access to jewelry, something he could only dream of before. He's like a child on Christmas. The way he was just so... soft with wanting to wear Sahed's earrings. He didn't say "I want them!" but instead he was amazed, hoping to be able to become like them.

AND THUS MY SECOND THING I ADORE

Imo, Jathar gives younger brother vibes. They are the PERFECT found family. Knowing now that Rainah and Sahed aren't blood siblings just gives me so much happiness knowing they most likely see each other as found family. The dynamic of the two of them with Jathar- how they hit it off instantly. Sahed being SO excited to have someone like him (I still feel like he was partially drawn to Julia because he saw himself in her) but someone who understands the "we hate the military!" side other than Rainah. Rainah is the best big sis older vibes, just so amazing. Rainah has been such a queen lately omg

just look at how HAPPY sahed is. I bet Sahed hasn't been this excited in ages. Jathar and Sahed are such an unstoppable duo. I can't wait to see what stuff Sahed gets him into.

I do think overall in the circus Jathar joining will be positive. He seems a very optimistic person. He could probably show Julia the good side of the circus, helping her see the light. Jathar had it firsthand seeing the crap of the world while Julia had a somewhat privileged life, so lucky to not even believe a bit into the existence of magic.

Can't wait to see more Jathar content in the future!!
