The only downside of dating a major stoner is that he informs me of weed things so i'm not just wandering in like "i need weed to make muffins idk which one".

This is a downside because i watch tv passively bc it's on at work and something involving weed comes up and i go "now hold on"

Like a lady dropping 50 bucks for two buds in a pill bottle, on a strain that supposedly *suppresses* hunger and ups energy.

Like. Show. This is weed. That's not how that works.

They also showed the shop only having two employees. A clerk and a dude specifically to sit by the door and check ID as you come in. The product was all in those like lift top jars that do NOT seal well. They were stacked in cases like 3 deep where you couldn't see the labels. There were no smoke rigs or thc and cbd products or edibles on shelves. Just like tacky decor. And this was supposed to be a Fancy Weed Place. Like i get that an upscale cali dispensary is probably not gonna be doing things like my small town smoke shop, but its like.

"Oh no the vibes here are wrong. these people source from a company somewhere that is doing just enough to make it expensive to buy while mass producing it. These people would not have smoked some of each kind before. They got their info from a pamphlet."

Ok so the actual downside is that i gut level expect weed shops to be like. community things. and place them mentally next to farmers markets.

Which is not a vibe my family, who v much have a dim view of weed, appreciate.
