I saw someone say that the Gun Goddess would be akin to this America's 9/11 and I simultaneously do and do not agree with this take.

It isn't 9/11 because it is so much worse.

When the bullet was shot it was not just shot directly to Japan, it was shout through the US.

This means that possible hundreds of thousands to millions of people could've died. It is so much worse than 9/11, it's an international tragedy unlike anything else.

I presume that this is the, uh, "shell" from the bullet fired from the God Goddess' shot. It's a trigger finger.

First Born Sacrifice and the meaning of the Red Sea

How are you my friends!! I'm bringing you the second meta from 14x12 Prophet and Loss, if you want to read the first meta (Destiel) is right here.

Ok... Let's star.. this will be an intense one

FIRST BORN

I've talked extensively about how John Winchester influenced on Dean Toxic heritage in this two mini metas:

It surprised me that they used the FIRST BORN topic, not bc I would probably sound like a fortune teller, not at all, but bc is brilliant to bring this fact over the surface.

One of the BIG CAUSES OF DEAN'S IMPEDIMENTS IS HIS TOXIC HERITAGE, and one of them, is his role as a FIRST BORN.

The first born, the big brother, is the person who carries with the HUGE BACKPACK of responsibilities delivered by his parents (heritage) the OBLIGATION TO FULFILL THE MISSION or mostly TO FULFILL HIS RIGHTEOUS FATHER EXPECTATIONS.

When the episode starts, we had the Nightmare scene, as a reflection of DEAN IS AFRAID. HE DOESN'T WANT TO DO THIS BUT HE HAS TO.

And this is the Healing!Dean fighting the Toxic!Dean there. I had a meta about this and the "emotional prison " Dean had constructed for himself (as the bar and as the coffin). The meta is here.

After that, Dean woke up, and Sam arrived to the room... And I want to point the picture in the wall behind Dean.

Is a dock and a bridge, where people can go for fishing, maybe? Again the FISHING RELATED WITH THE LAST GRANTED WISH A MAN COULD MAKE BEFORE TO DIE.

In this meta here I made the parallel between Jack's granted wish, fishing with Dean in 14x07 and Dean's dream in season 4 (The Rapture).

The first born is preparing his path to one horrible death.

There was this scene in the car, where Michael trying to get out the fridge, and Dean face was full with a red light...

Reminding us what red color means for Dean... Again his toxic heritage making him take a bad decision that includes SELF SACRIFICE.

When the "incomplete Prophet" killed the first victim we saw, he drowned her into a "fake red Sea" and then he proclaimed himself "I am God."

That quote jumped into my mind and I related it with Michael, and that lead us, inevitably, to John. Forcing the sacrifice on Dean.

One of the big plagues that revaged Egypt in the Ramses's edge was THE ANGEL OF THE DEATH, who went through the city killing the first born child from each Egyptian family. As a proof of God's rage bc the Ramses didn't want to release the jews. The Jews were celebrating Easter that night, and they had to colored with blood their doors so this ways, the Angel if the Death, wouldn't enter in that house.

I brought this here bc the sacrifice of the first born was a consequence that Ramses has to suffer bc he took a bad decision not releasing the Jews people.

The Red Sea

@drsilverfish wrote a wonderful meta here about the Greek Sphinx mythology related with this season storyline.

I had added to her thread the Egyptian Sphinx, and I will bring that back here, bc the meaning of this mythic creature.

The Egyptian Sphinx represents LIFE AFTER DEATH, that's why she is placed in front of the pyramid, like a custody.

Having this in mind, and bc this episode show us this creepy guy killing innocent people in front of this "SPHYNX" metal plate, and bc they mentioned Egyptian plagues, I can talk now about the meaning of the RED SEA for Judaism and Christianity.

The Passover of the Red Sea represents freedom, and is the new beginning of a new life. Is the new Easter (PASCUA) for the Jews and it represents liberation, leaving behind the slavery to bad life, and rebirth to a new one.

For Christianity is represented by Jesus Christ sacrifice, He gave His own life saving the world. He was dead and by the third day and he resurrected from death to a new life. And is very curious too that the Temple and the priests are coated in red, reminding us SACRIFICE, till Easter, when they use the white color.

That's the meaning of the word PASCUA (passover) again, death and rebirth.

How we can related this, I think is very obvious and you already thought it...

The Mal'ak box represents REPRESSION, emotional prison, death, slavery to that toxic heritage Dean is carrying, and the sea, the red Sea, is a symbolism of liberation.

IDK if Dean will die or will be just symbolic, but it needs to happen so that way, and repeating my theory about the Phoenix Complex I talked here and here, he needs to rebirth to a new life. To break free for once and all.

I wanted to talk about Nick and the amount of complicated parallels he is, but I think is better write a third meta x that... I will have mercy with you. 🤣🤣🤣🙊 Bc this one is very large...

To conclude

"We will find another way" we just have to repeat this all the time, bc is a classic Winchester quote, and I truly believe Castiel and Sam will find another way. Maybe using the Mal'ak box, but with another idea.

And I'm positive about Castiel saving the day this time, you know what I think about the decoder ring and all of that, he has the KEY to save Dean this time. And recalling so much to season 10, where a lot of people thought CAS will cure the mark, but I didn't feel that in that season , but I'm this one... I'm feeling it very strongly. Not expecting a huge DESTIEL/BLUE PRINCE SALVATION but yeah, let CAS save Dean as he did 10 years ago in Hell.

And to finish, FIRST BORN SACRIFICE not good, related to TOXIC HERITAGE (from John Winchester). This Toxic!Dean needs to die (maybe physically or figuratively) to let the Healing!Dean passover the red Sea.
