Ive recently been using ask hints for the first time this year and honestly I find them extremely useful but also very hard to come up with if the blog is either plotless or me pulling shit outta my ass 97% of the time (which is often) 🤣 I used to just go with whatever would come into the inbox, which can sometimes be fun to play around with, but I understand some people have Choice Paralysis when it comes to picking characters or asking certain questions even with the ask hints there. It helps to bold certain hints if you really want something pointed out!

I don’t usually send asks myself or have others send them, but only a very few number of people know the plots of my blogs lmao.

I wanna know some behind the scenes things!!

Ok! In replacement of taking munday questions, I have a few for fellow blogs. I'm always curious on how other people handle own their blogs behind the scenes and what types of responses they get. So here's a few questions I'd love answers for! Feel free to either respond as much or as little as you want through reblog, or reply. I don't mind.

Do you have your friends send questions to your blog with meta knowledge? (Alternatively, do you just send them yourself?) What do these questions normally highlight?

(Like, do you ask your friends to send asks specifically pointing out details that the general audience might miss. Or to point out specific nuances of your characters feelings over what they're going through. etc etc be specific if you feel the need to)

When people don't use the ask hints (if provided) when sending asks, do you still find that those asks that are still useful to you? Alternatively, if you don't have ask hints, have the asks being sent satisfy you enough to reveal what you want about your characters?

If you provide ask hints, how well do they work? Are the majority of the asks you get based off the ask hints? Do most of the hints you provide get used, or are there some that still never get covered?

Feel free to also include anything else that you feel useful to know! Add context, or maybe a different approach. I know this seems particularly plot-based blog focused but I'm all for hearing the responses of non-plot ones. It'll help with perspective! I did always feel a little.. lonely in knowing how other people feel about their blogs going, if it was going how they wanted or what challenges they face. It really helps to uncover the veil to understand the person behind the blog! Thank you, if you take the time to answer these, or even just read and consider.

"Ho, this is unexpected. I am Oinari-sama one of the protectors of Japari Park, are you perhaps a guardian deity yourself?" A girl of about 14 decked out in a pure white suite and sporting pure white fox ears and tail smiled at Hanyuu it seems the 'goddess friend' was a real one enough to be able to introduce herself to the other.

Hanyuu has a delayed reaction to the words directed at her, assuming they're meant for a corporeal being standing directly behind her until her status is brought into question, to which she lets out a light gasp, awkwardly hooking her sleeves together and raising her chin in shock.

"Eh?! ...Y-you can see me?" Awareness of Hanyuu's presence often serves as a portent of Hinamizawa Syndrome, and yet this girl is too lucid for that to be the case. "Ah...yes, I am. And you are...?"

I'm practicing playing the small drum for a festival to be held at a shrine, and I'm a little happy when I remember that Mystery's favorite instrument is the drum.

The festival I attend is also a festival dedicated to “oinari-sama”, the fox god, so I can kind of understand why Mystery likes the sounds of Japanese drums and flutes.

Hunting Log Tamamonomae

So I read though Tamamonomae bios and Kuzunoha is mentioned, but it does not tell us when she and Tamamonomae first met each other.

Another thing I want to say is that while Tamamonomae was wrong for trying to destroying the city, I thought that the gods who killed his wife and tried to kill him and his children as well as the onmyoji who killed his children were in the wrong and still unknown and the murders are treated as a non-issue by the narrative. These are technically unsolved murder mysteries and we do not know if the child mudering onmyoji were killed in the fire or are they are still walking around free and unscathed.

Also, Tamamonomae said that he does not trust the gods in his SP Memory Scroll because according to him they did not help him and is yet on good terms with Mikestu, Enmusubi and Suzuhikohime. Now it is good for a character to realize that it is not okay to generalize a group of people, but the story needs to explain it.

Speaking of Suzuhikohime, she knows Kuzunoha but the story never said how. I am speculating that is because Suzuhikohime is Ame-no-Uzume and Kuzunoha in Japanese Mythology was one of Ukanomitama/Miketsu's disciples and messengers and that Mikestu and Ame-no-Uzume were both Inari Gods. Ame-no-Uzume was also called Omiyanome.

I am still waiting to the writers to provide us with more information about Kuzunoha and Masuki and have them make a physical appearance. Also how was Kuzunoha able to mask herself very well and keeping the other onmyoji from finding out she was a fox spirit?
