I certainly try to keep my schedule on a 1-3 week basis. It’s convenient for me to not be tied down with deadlines (because lord knows I have to deal with that enough already) and I feel like that’s fair to you as the reader. Summer’s around the corner so I might be able to get chapters out at a faster pace, which is a shame since I plan on having only a few left. Like maybe around ten or so. Geez. I didn’t realize how close I was to the end. I honestly didn’t think I was going to make it this far but I’m here till the end baby!

This Commander Mercury is from before he and his Archie…”reconciled” after months of forced actions and anxiety and stress. And Archie at that time was…let’s say not good, and seeing the man you love not good is dreading.

Ruthless snobby leader of Team Magma.

Has yet to admit his compassion in a genuine and open way.

Believe in humanity a bit too much.

Well reserved, hair smooth and clean as well as his clothes.

Has yet to realize how much of a dick he is.

Wants Archie thrown into a volcano more than anything and refuses to believe he would marry anyone other than a volcano.

Can't swim for dick.

Although he calls Archie a psycho, he himself has yet to realize he too is a psycho.

Team Galactic Commander Mercury Maxie

Kidnapped by Galactic and forced to work for them after months of hiding in Sinnoh with Archie.

Has also yet to make amends with him. (Basically before they fucked for the first time.)

Has yet to call Archie his lover out loud (Thanks insecurities!)

Has never felt so powerless in his life.

Realizes how his life as Xavier Manchester (his alias) is the life he wants.

Tired. Just tired.

Has a recent new fear of drowning.

Open to change, like new hairstyles and hobbies or jobs, like teaching.

The hairstyle he has now is recent.

Has let himself go a bit. It's not very noticeable but he is not as skinny as he used to be.

Has learned to swim thanks to Archie.

Has overcome the grief of losing Camerupt. (HC that Camerupt dies at the end of OHtMF)

Oh How The Mighty Fall - Chapter 3 preview

Chapter 3 is slowly coming together! However I feel bad for leaving such a big gap between each chapter, so here is a short preview for the upcoming one! 😌

���I know it’s not okay.” 

Robert sees Aaron watching him with an open look on his face, intending to listen to what Robert has to say. 

“The nightmares, they get me every night. It’s always about when I was inside, and I just don’t know why it’s so hard to talk about it” Robert says, curling his body so he’s now facing Aaron on the sofa. “I keep saying that I’m not ready to talk about it, that it will pass eventually, but I think it’s because I’m not ready to face anything that happened in prison. I’m too scared to face it, so I just ignore it all.”

“I was the same.” Aaron says in a soft tone, resting one arm on the back on the sofa, fingers hovering over the material on Roberts shoulder, like he was aching to touch, but knew right now wasn’t the right time. “You think because your out of prison that suddenly it all magically disappears and your you again, you live life how it was before. You realise the hard way that it isn’t like that.” 

“I wish sometimes that my mind would just shut off.” 

“Well unfortunately at times our minds aren’t assigned to just forget stuff” Aaron says with a light smile, “but talking can help, it helped me a lot. And I meant what I said when I mentioned that you can talk to me.”

“You shouldn’t be the one to listen to my problems.”

“Well I want to. I want to be here for you, to support you. You were there for me many times throughout the years.” Aaron squeezes Roberts shoulder, and the blonde man sinks into the small comfort as his green eyes meet gentle blue ones. “Let me be there for you Robert, I don’t mind being the shoulder that you can cry on.”

Robert remains silent, eyes flickering away, but the mask that he held was slowly slipping away.

Just talk, Robert thinks, it’s Aaron, you can talk to him.

But it’s hard to get the words out, there stuck in the back of his throat. He’s hesitant, because he knows once he starts talking…he doesn’t think he will be able to stop.

“You..you said that you were sick of being trapped in your cell.” Aaron says, coaxing Robert to say something about the things that have been haunting him since he’s been out. “Is that what your nightmares are all about?”

“Oh there much more than that.” Robert replies with a bitter chuckle, he places his cup down on the table, the tea now cold and leaving a sickly sweet taste in his mouth. Fragments of his nightmare come back, but the start…the beginning of it all is always clear. “But it always starts there, me, in my cell, trapped between the four walls with no way of escaping.” 

“Escaping from what?” 

Robert clenches his fists on his thighs, his lips trembling again. “Everything.”
