Alhamdulillah a wish fulfilled. @entmagazineme with At the Global Dialogue for Happiness, held in Dubai on Saturday ahead of the 2018 World Government Summit (@worldgovsummit), the UAE’s Minister of State for Happiness and Wellbeing H.E. @OhoodAlRoumi showcased an article from a newspaper in 1971, dated three weeks prior to the establishment of the UAE, which quoted the UAE’s founding father, the late H.H. Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, as saying: “My wealth is the happiness of my people.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Reflecting on this statement, H.E. Al Roumi said that the responsibility of every government today should be to boost the happiness and well-being of their people, which led her to announce the first Global Happiness Policy Report, which sets out policies needed to make a genuine difference in the well-being of humanity. “My dream is that one day we can look back and see this as the moment when we started to build a world not focused only on the material aspects of growth, but on people’s happiness and well-being,” H.E. Dream big - never let your BS ( belief system...what were you thinking?) hold you back. I am a SMILE strategist and the acronym I coined for SMILE is a mindset training tool that helps people get from STUCK to UNSTUCK. It helps with coming to a place of acceptance for the good and the bad that life gives us. I have presented it in different countries and platforms - TEDx included. The SMILE strategy has even been a part of @happyuae Carnival and been acknowledged and appreciated by Her Excellency @ohoodalroumi When I see the content by lead speakers at @mindvalley I am in awe. One of my wildest wishes was that my simple but effective SMILE strategy message would find a place on that prestigious @mindvalley stage.
