HELLO Davros loves you so so much. He actually made an adjustment to his casing/mobility aid so that you have a spot to sit now! It’s near his chest, so that you can cuddle up nice and cozy with him as he does his planning and scheming. HMMMMMMMS please forgive the late response my head is made of Hollow Rocks . and also my memory of the happenings of hw is bit fuzzy so sorry for any inconsistencies or incorrect stuff

i personally headcanon that everything during the hyrule warriors dlc/legends parts never happened. meaning he never met toon/wind there; nor mask/time; doesn't know marin, tetra, ravio, etc. this isn't rly anything to do w an actual problem w the dlcs i have, it's just that i generally dislike time travel shenanigans (it is a Miracle i like lu in general actually, now that im thinkin abt it). it makes everything confusing and it's VERY hard not to create paradoxes and paradoxes make me so . sosossoso os [explodes]

basically anything past the shining beacon scenario is Not In My Head and therefore has not been experienced by our dear boy warriors linked universe

it makes it a bit less confusing for me, rly, and it also means that wars didn't let two children (toon, mask) fight in a war . i don't think he'd Ever do that if he could help it (unfortunately wind is not spared from a journey w him later .... even then, wars wishes he could've prevented him from the physical/mental harm lu may have brought on. he may be a damn good hero and very capable, but that doesn't mean wars doesn't regret letting all the trauma seep into him)

other than the many, many (many) scars and burns he gets throughout the war, it obviously deals a great amount of damage to his mind as well. he was fucked up Before the war in a sorta different sense (terrible father, stifling home, forced to dedicate all his time into being smth he didn't want to be, conditioned to overwork himself, fear of abandonment). but the war brings a lot of new stuff:

paranoia is a big one. every time he enters a room his eyes dart to all the exits. he is Never unarmed and always carries at least his dagger w him. sometimes he gets days where the Dread is too much and he's jumpy and easily startled and keeps looking over his shoulder. there's been times where somebody taps him to get his attention and he Whips around and has his dagger to their neck in a second (he always feels terrible abt it afterward and apologizes profusely)

^ that extends to the paranoia he has abt people not actually being who they appear to be. a wizzrobe during his game could shapeshift into other people and be nearly indistinguishable from the real deal. sometimes when his friends/allies have an off day where they don't quite act like themselves, he can't help but be wary of them and watch them closely. he doesn't mean to not have faith in his allies, he just,,,has trouble thinking of anything else

i've mentioned his big fear of fire. in the future, any moment he's ever w the chain and they visit the deku tree he can't look at it without seeing it up in flames. after his final fight w volga and having the memory of a giant dragon pinning him down and shooting fire at him at point blank range, he's likely . never going to get over that fear

in the future Anytime the chain goes near a great fairy wars just . stays near the back. or better yet he simply waits outside/a very very far distance away. he's terrified of them for numerous reasons

i also like to think that most of his men adore him and think he's a damn good captain. and during the war there was a certain lil band of em who would dare stray out of line to simply ask him if he's Okay. it may seem,, rude, to speak out of line and out of turn, but wars was never the type to gripe about little things like that anyway. and he ? rly appreciated the fact that they bothered to ask. especially when they thought they might've gotten in trouble for it

and lastly, when he was younger wars was !!! a bit naive. and while his mother had always taught him that the world was good and there was sm good In It and so many reasons to love it, it might not have had the desired effect on him in the long run. he grew up thinking that everybody was simply . good. and that made it all the more challenging for him to identify whether or not he was being used or played or even abused. he's told that everything is good and he should be good too, and then he's immediately thrust into an environment that is decidedly Not Good, but he's 9 years old and who is he to think his mother wrong ? mom Must be right. This must be good

aaalllll the way up until he's 18, he's sorta convinced that the world would never need this many soldiers to defend their land, bc who in their right mind would kill people just for the sake of power ? it's a very innocent way of thinking, and it isn't until literally his First mission out in the field, right before he's revealed to have the triforce of courage and he's promoted, that he learns that not everybody is good. he's ripped from believing such nice, tame, wonderful things and immediately faced with literally some of the most horrible sights a person could ever witness. sure, his father prepared him for a war, but his mother had prepared him for a world that's much softer than this. and he tended to take his mother's advice much more to heart than his father's

so me and my parents are out looking for houses in the area, right, that are reasonably priced. because obviously i did not specify where i was to you all because internet security but we might end up centralized here as a family right. so we were looking and this area is... generally a pretty expensive place with an expensive real estate industry. and there’s a lot of privilege in the fact that my family is financially stable and well off enough to be looking here and i do realize that but i mean obviously we are not made of fucking money and we’re working on a budget for one house right.

anyway one of the agents casually dropped in the middle of the conversation that she owns five houses and. i cannot describe it to you the psychological response i had to that

yesterday i woke up at 5 am, could barely get back to sleep before i had to get up at 7, then couldnt find my keys (bad omen) nor my card after i was already running late to my college orientation at 9...arrived late, left as early as i could (at least a bought a .2 mm mechnical pencil im excited as hell about) then drove back down to wv bc id been in pa.....then i had a long, smooth ass drive down to nc! it was great!!!! 

until about 9 or 9:30 pm when i was pulling into my last stop for gas and i locked my keys in the damn car, and nobody had anything to pop open a door so i called a towing service a mile away. 65 dollars. no thank u. i had to call aaa (triple a) who couldnt find where the hell i was! for like 5-10 minutes! despite me giving the exact address! and for whatever reason a drunk dude walked past and hit on me! then i called my friend katie (who is the reason im in nc at all) who took EVEN LONGER to find despite me telling her all the shit that was around me and the exact address and dear lord the place simply did not exist...and after i was done talking to her and waiting for aaa to call me back, this drunk ass dude, smoking in a golf cart, pulled up. asked me if i wanted to race for pink slips. hit on me. tried to get me to say where i live. im glad i was sitting on the roof of my car lmfao....after he left i went inside to charge my phone bc it felt unsafe as hell outside...where i waited talking to the cashier lady (god bless her like honestly she was nice as hell) until 11 pm! for the aaa guy to come!!!! and i had almost forgotten to fill my gas tank so i did that at LITERALLY the last minute like wait fuck BHDBCHJCDBHJD

and he took at least another HOUR to open my car door bc the goddamn thing is so easily jammed like he got the lock open? but bc the door wasnt slammed shut, it still wouldnt open? and when i hit the door the lock slipped back so it was locked again like ohhhmy fuckin god.....i was so happy when he got it open i tipped him 5 dollars :’’( 

aand then when i drove back up the street to get back on the highway the police were out checking driver’s licenses and the lady was like oh a pennsylvania license, mustve been a long drive :) and i was like....man...you do not know the half of it......

so i finally got to my friend’s house took a shower and got to sleep and rn im laying on the floor gayly cuddling a pink and purple body pillow and im gonna get myself a spare key made today so i am NEVER gonna deal with that AGAIN

ohhhmy god that'sso fucking soft. they're SO soft . sky takes him on a ride on his loftwing, shows him the surface and what they've built so far,,,,,,,,,,,,, wild brings him to see the lord of the mountain and the dragons,,,,,,,,, legend takes him to the best spots in his hyrule for pretty views of the kingdom or lets him dig through the Special Off-Limits Castle Library to borrow a book or two or ten <3

god . wars isn't an idiot. he Knows what they're all doing. they Only bring wars on all these trips and very rarely any of the others and he Sees the looks they give him, especially time's. he keeps reassuring them that they don't have to drag him along on trips—it's more effort for them, he "gets in the way" of quality time between them and their families, and he's one more mouth their families have to feed (he tries to pack food for himself to avoid this . they drag him to the dinner table anyway)

he says he's being a burden exactly Once (1) and nearly every chain member shuts that down So fast. they make sure it's known that wars doesn't Have to go on these trips if he doesn't want to, but they're all more than willing to take him and they Love having him around they literally adore him so much We Love You, Let Us Love You

Okay! Actual ranch au question time - until the ranch is expanded, who is sleeping where? Because that seems like absolute chaos. Also like. Which of them struggle the most adjusting and in what ways? Not just the why, but the little things they do that make it obvious. I guess maybe even what little things all of them carry over from their befores? (Sorry just... rambling whatever things that came to mind)

just like when they were adventuring, they pretty much settle wherever ! most of the time that involves a big cuddle pile in the living room <3 it's basically turned into a glorified guest bedroom for a while until time can get to planning the expansions and getting help from all of them to build them. the boys r used to sleeping like that anyway, so they don't mind it at all—they missed each other after being separated, so cuddling is always nice

it Is chaos though. a living room is smaller than an entire clearing they might've set up camp in during their journey. their bags and shoes take up like an entire fourth of the kitchen where the front door is, and u better believe the kitchen is very crowded during meal time GVIEAGYV they basically have to remodel the Entire house—they're accommodating for 8 extra people after all! plus,, time and malon only have one bathroom when the boys first start living there . winces in sympathy

all of them struggle to adjust a little, some more than others. legend is So very not used to just,,,, lounging around. he's not used to staying in one place, and he's Definitely not used to not spending all of a precious break preparing for the next day of traveling. he struggles to sit still and get into that mindset of just,, relaxing and living. he seems rly tense and unwilling to let his guard down for a while before he's able to truly let himself lounge around

it's a bit jarring for wars to not have Anything pressing to do as well. he's,,, Always doing smth, whether that be tending to his troops back "home," finishing up paperwork, going to meetings, makin sure the chain is alright,,, u name it. he's a rly busy guy. so now that he's just....... sitting here ..............................doing fuck all, it's very odd for him. he's almost Forgotten how to relax

wars sticks himself to odd jobs around the ranch; old projects time had that never got done, touching up the house, Cleaning the house, helping w the horses. time Knows what he's doing (the fear of being thrown out is still fresh in wars' mind,,, time hates that that's been drilled into him so ruthlessly growing up). and he Knows that wars will lose his marbles if he has nothing to do, so time ends up givin him,, Simple jobs . jobs that won't utterly destroy his still-young bones, but will still occupy him

after a Long while—many reassurances and the chain being ever so patient— wars manages to,, unlearn that lesson, at least a little bit. he stops being paranoid abt abandonment when he takes a day to just relax, and even though it's not a straight shot to recovery and wars definitely has days where he buries himself in work and acts like they'll instantly kick him out if he doesn't do the dishes, he's getting there. he takes up reading a lot again :) and even starts writin that book he'd always wanted to

sky has to adjust to living On Ground . he walks outside and surprisingly isn't in vague danger from falling off an island and to his death, and that's . an adjustment GVIYEAGV he misses touching the clouds. his favorite spot to hang out is on top of the roof where he can feel the wind a bit better. he naps there

wind misses the sea and his family, but rly he takes the change quite well. he's finally back to Being a Kid and,, sliding down the hall on socked feet and stealing cookies from malon's trays and annoying (/aff) his brothers relentlessly <3 a chunk of his childhood was kinda stolen away right along w his sister, but maybe bein here will allow him to make up for at least some of it

another who takes the change in stride is twi :) living on a ranch is definitely in his comfort zone and he loves staying there—absolutely adores giving a helping hand and tending to the animals. i think the strangest part for him is Living With Time . he's past the shell-shock of it by now, of course, but he's still aware it's so so strange . if Future Twi had come to Past Him during his journey and pointed to the Hero's Shade and said "that'll be ur father figure and you'll live on a nice lil ranch together w all ur homies" twi would have thought the weird fog permeating the realm he'd been put in was eating away at his braincells.
