IMAGINE if Ezra left a message for Sabine… to pass to Tristan Wren which gets witnessed by the entire CLAN WREN
Sabine: Ezra, Ezra, what do you need me to do? Wait, he left me a holo in my room? Maybe it’s a clue on how to get him back!
Holo Ezra: Sabine… listen, I don’t have a lot of time and this might pester you, but I have a big confession that may overwhelm you…
Sabine: Oh no, Ezra, I thought we were brother and sister-
Holo Ezra: Sabine, it’s about Tristan…
Sabine: Ohhhhhhhhh. Ok, don’t know how to feel about that.
Holo Ezra: Look, if you can just pass the message to him if he doesn’t mind, I mean, it’s his choice if he wants to see what I have to say… (gets out a guitar)
–
Clan Wren assembled in the main chamber on Krownest.
Ursa Wren: As you all know, Sabine has passed us this crucial intel that I believe is important for us to see. I have not looked into the contents of the message itself, but I’m told it concerns Clan Wren, particularly Tristan Wren. As things concerning Tristan is a family matter, the family must see this. Tristan, do the honors and play the message.
Holo Ezra appearing, reviewing the message sent to Sabine before he takes out a guitar and starts strumming…
Holo Ezra: Tristan, I regret not getting to know you better before I summoned the Space Whales to carry me out. But if the Space Wales can’t take me home and I’m still sailing out into the unknown… then, you must hear this final message. This song is only the first in a concept album, but I hope you’ll like it.
Clan Wren watching, as Tristan watches with his mouth agape and sweats nervously.
Holo Ezra: (singing) Tristan, you never got know that you’re my star /
You’re like the tar that can’t leave my heart
/ And a Mando like you and I a Jedi makes us very star-crossed
/ And it’s worst that I am now lost…
–
14 conceptual songs later with the entire Clan Wren staring and listening.
Holo Ezra: Tristan, I know, I hope these songs reach your heart even if we’ll never be together. But I also prepared a nice bonus track about our future if I were to return. It’s called “Let A Jedi Be Your Count”-
Tristan: ENOUGH! (bats hand down on holo) Seriously, let’s just talk about something else, like the ongoing reclamation of Mandalore.
Ursa Wren: Tristan, this is a serious matter. What the Padawan proposed is serious. This is a matter of discussion among Clan Wren.
Tristan: Mother…
Wren 1: He’s an outlander, I don’t like him.
Wren 2: Now, now, Clan Wren tolerates everyone, you know we adopted outlanders into this family. What kind of Mandolorians could we be if we don’t welcome outlanders into our Clan?
Ursa Wren: I know he’s up for discussion, but I do think it’s less advantageous that Ezra Bridger is a Jedi, a Jedi who may have been an ally, but we have contentious history with Jedi.
Tristan: Mother…
Alrich Wren: Ursa, love, listen to the Jedi’s plea and song. Do you doubt his devotion? I’m not saying this because the boy saved me from Saxon, but that mellow voice, the labor of love he puts into even his most subpar rhymes, this boy, is Clan Wren material.
Ursa Wren: That is true, Bridger proposed the Mando way effortlessly. And he’s of age.
Alrich Wren: Anyway, I champion Bridger. Because he sings to Tristan from the heart. Such passion from the Jedi’s voice and songwriting will melt all the snow of Krownest and save us from all the snowstorms.
Wren 1: That’s true, the Jedi does have a nice voice.
Wren 2: Second that, Bridger’s value to Clan Wren is certain due to his art. The Jedi has a nice voice.
Alrich Wren: All agree that the Jedi’s technique of serenading is more than adequate?
All Wrens: AYE!
Ursa Wren: All right, I’ll take Alrich’s input. All in favor of inducting the Jedi Ezra Bridger into Clan Wren?
All Wrens: AYE!
Ursa Wren: All in favor of sending reinforcements to retrieve Ezra from Wild Space so he can properly marry Tristan Wren?
All Wrens: AYE!
Tristan: Do I get a say in this?
