the knight doesn't join you in Merusea, not permanently, but he drops by every once in a while, still slightly in awe at the sight of the Creator living a simple life as a Melusine. your siblings adore him almost as much as they adore Foul Legacy, fawning over his starry cape and otherworldly air. it actually gives Legacy a bit of reprieve from their constant attention, a chance to quietly curl himself around you as he watches you and Mamere paint away... of course, they all return when Dainsleif comes to your little shell house to say hello, many Melusine trailing after him and darting over to Foul Legacy so they can clamber onto his shoulders and hold onto his horns

Legacy huffs, and you can't help but laugh, the sound so wonderful and reassuring to him and Dainsleif after all you've been through

zhongli’s kids would definitely have their eyes on the geo archon seat after he fakes his death. they can’t have scara getting all the glory of being the only sibling who’s an archon. zhongli suggests they make a tournament - whoever manages to stay awake until zhongli ends his lecture about the responsibilities of ruling liyue and going through its entire history and culture wins. none of them last an hour. the seat of the geo archon remains empty up to this day. fun little fact tho! zhongli didn’t tell them his plans to fake his death so they all thought he actually died. they were on the verge of tearing down liyue until you appeared and said ‘it’s a prank!’ they also help the adepti and the qixing in fighting osial!!

xiao is the honorary brother that scara refuses to acknowledge bc it would mean he’s not the eldest anymore. he half-raised those kids bc god knows their parents were too busy banging each other and spawning more of them. scara is actually a really good ruler!! the raiden shogun balances his softer side. xiao, scara, and raiden shogun basically half-raised their siblings. they bonded over it <3

AND VENTI LMAOO he would lament to diluc and the traveler about those two archons who “seduced his beloved priestess.” at windrise when venti’s telling traveler abt morax, he says something along the lines of “oh, and don’t trust that old geezer too much he’s a backstabbing little bitch who stole my wife.” traveler actually has a very different experience in this au. mostly bc traveler has to be the mediator whenever the three archons start complaining about the other ‘hogging you all to themself’.

venti arrives in mondstadt during the windblume festival with three other people and a boatload of other people who suspiciously look like a mix of their features. it’s better to not ask anything. jean didn’t ask to host that year’s festival with two additional gods and the high priestess herself who’s been quiet for centuries until now. oh, and now the electro archon is here in a grumpy mood, asking why they didn’t invite him over. um, probably because you have a whole country to rule? jean thinks it’s time for a vacation.

on a more serious note tho, their decisions could create a huge succession war on liyue. each kid fighting to become the geo archon. it could replace the inazuma archon quest since the traveler wouldn’t really encounter much problems there with scara as the electro archon. maybe scara gets involved at the succession war at some point as the eldest and the traveler gets dragged along. reader, ei, zhongli, and venti are all just watching and enjoying their retirement. it’s only a matter of time before the succession for the anemo archon’s position was put into question. luckily for them, venti doesn’t have kids with you. yet.

Diluc would never admit, but he grew fond of your new buddy rather quickly. You can tell by how much he cares for his comfort - be it the top quality dog food he ordered, the whole box of toys for him to enjoy, or just genuinely the way he looks at the fella. The bond between them is already showing.

After a few weeks he might even let him sleep on the bed with you. If the puppy is calm and isn't messy, it might turn into an everyday thing.

I'm so sorry but you have to take care of it alone. No matter how much you love Hu Tao, you just can't trust her with these things. Sure, she can accompany you to Bubu Pharmacy while you purchase some medicine and herbs to heal the bird, but the responsibility of actually taking care of it falls into your hands alone. Trust me, it's for the best.

Once the bird recovers, it would only take them a few days to become absolute best buddies. Your original plan was to let it go after it was healthy and able to fly, but no. The bird will not leave no matter what you do.

You now have a bird living on your balcony. Hu Tao named it Fanhui (返回 - meaning 'return' in chinese)! It's just so thankful for your help and love that it refuses to leave, which is cute! And Hu Tao loves it too!!

Congratulations, you can now trust him to buy food for her. He still calls her names sometimes, but it's not that bad anymore. Sometimes, on rare occasions, you can even catch him call her by the name you gave her. How adorable.

You will often notice her feasting on something when you arrive at home. You're sure she finished eating before you left, how is her bowl full again? It's not hard to figure the culprit out though. But please warn him not to feed her too much, you don't want that cat to roll around the house like a ball.

More often than not, he takes her to Wangshu Inn with him. He sits her down next to him to watch the sunset. So cute.

Don't worry he isn't forgetting about you either! He just treats her like his child, and of course, you as the other parent! You definitely have bracelets that match with the cat's collar, nobody can ever change my mind.

-> after crepus’s tragic death, you immediately took the responsibility of taking care of your younger siblings. it was hard, you had to admit; having to step aside in grieving your father’s death and deal with the things kaeya and diluc went through altogether.

-> you weren’t there when crepus died but when you found out what happened, you immediately came home to dawn winery and comfort your brothers.

-> during your first dinner together with your siblings ever since crepus’s death, kaeya comes clean about him being a “spy” for his homeland, khaeneri’ah. you understood kaeya— however you started looking at him differently since then (either bad or good, it depends on you).

-> don’t worry though! diluc is willing to write letters to you weekly with the help of a bird, who’d fly over to dawn winery and wait for your response. though, he never told you about him working for the network.

-> for kaeya, he still stays in dawn winery but is rarely seen in the place. you watched as he slowly rises up at the knights of favonius ranks with your support. of course, he still talks to you— just only whenever he’s in angel’s share when you’re the one serving drinks for the night.

-> when diluc returns to your home, you took note of how there’s been a lot of rumors in mondstadt about the “guardian of mondstadt.” obviously you found out that he was the darknight hero when he came home late while you were in the kitchen drinking water.

-> time flew so fast and before you know it, they’re now adults.

-> whilst diluc continues on to work in his wine business and kaeya became the calvary captain of the knights, you later became one of the best adventurers of mondstadt.

-> they both have ways in showing you that they care for you. like in my prev hc, kaeya would consult some knights who’d patrol around the nation or adventurers who was with you for an expedition and ask of your day (you rarely talk to kaeya and diluc about your adventures so he has to use what he can to know if you’re okay).

-> obviously when you found out about kaeya checking up on you, you discussed with him that you’d tell him all about it in angel’s share when you have time and that he doesn’t have to confront the knights or adventurers about you.

-> diluc on the other hand would give you gifts that can help you on your adventures or listen to you talk about your day whenever you come home and he’s around. he’s also the one who helped you in wielding a sword and using one.

-> given that all three of your jobs kept you busy often, the only times you actually bond with your brothers together are when you three go to angel’s share.

-> during those times together in angel’s share, kaeya and diluc are only communicating each other for your sake. although it saddens you that they are no longer close to one another like before, you understood that it’ll take time.

-> it’s honestly chaotic for diluc if you’re an alcoholic and became kaeya’s drinking buddy. he’d be like “oh my god there’s two of them...” (unlike kaeya though, you usually drink a mild alcohol and drink at least one bottle).

-> whilst you’re kaeya’s potential drinking buddy, you are also the darknight hero’s #1 nurse/buddy.

-> as an adventurer, adventuring at night has its perks. one of those perks is your chance of encountering mondstadt’s mysterious guardian— the darknight hero.

-> you’d meet diluc somewhere around the areas of mondstadt seldom. when you did, you often tag along and help him hunt down hilichurls and abyss mages (much to diluc’s dismay). whenever your brother is done clearing around the areas near the city, he’ll definitely try to help you out on your commissions (much to your dismay as well).

-> whenever you don’t get the chance to encounter your brother at night, you sometimes have the chance to nurse him instead. you often lecture him in watching out for himself when fighting against more than two enemies whilst diluc hums in agreement to whatever you’re saying, too exhausted to listen most of them.

-> of course, being the oldest out of the three, they sometimes consult you for advices or favors as an adventurer. kaeya would sometimes ask you if you can navigate certain enemies around the nation with the help of the adventurer’s guild. diluc on the other hand would ask guidance on the winery industry (given that you’re more experienced than him).

-> you’re basically one of the people that your brothers trust the most. they very much look up to you.

-> ok but like, imagine diluc always trying to put alcohol away from kaeya before he can drink more and kaeya would be using you to convince diluc to give him more alcohol.

-> “that’s enough alcohol for today, kaeya.”

-> “no fair.. y/n, tell diluc to hand me back the dandelion wine— the night is still young, you know?”

Heyy, step-bro Kaeya anon here. I should be asleep right now but I really want to share an idea that hitted me like a flipping (not sure if I can swear) brick.

Imagine Zhongli or Xiao (or even both) with a reincarnated darling. Darling is the reincarnation of their past lover that they lost during the Archon war and met again so many years later. I feel they both would be clingy and protective at first (Xiao maybe not so clingy but definitely protective), constantly watching over darling. In the meantime darling is just confused, why this strange yet familiar guy keep following her? Darling is just so overwhelmed by their constant presence that one day she just broke down in front of a rival of yan (I'm thinking about Childe or Aether, but I guess Venti would work too) and yan just snap. They really don't want to have you tied up in their bedroom (we all know that's a lie), but you leave them with no other choice. After all you're just a weak and clumsy mortal, how can you protect yourself? They can't afford to lose you again.

Bonus point if darling has a strong bond with the rival(s?) even before meeting yan.

Also I feel this can be also applied to Venti but he genuinely don't seem one to kidnap his darling, more like manipulate them into staying but for this I have another different idea.

Xiao is the type to be passive-aggressive about it, I think...? This guy is violent, and he knows that more than anyone else. If he were to let this rage take over him, he might do something even more terrifying than you can ever imagine. He's bad with trying to talk it out in general, so he'll might come in and just...sweep you away in the darkest of the night, never to be seen again. There's really no use in using words against him at this point, he won't answer you directly because in his mindset, it should all be common sense on why he did this.

You were a cheater, a whore who forgot about him after providing him with so much love and care before. It's your fault, you brought this upon yourself so, go ahead…Use every last bit of your brain cells to process all that out. You are not leaving him anymore and he’ll make you realise that.

Venti~! Aaah...Venti is interesting because he's one of those guilty-type of yanderes, sweethearts really. Rather than being angry, he'd be sad, really, really sadwhen he finds out that you have someone else now and would desperately try to make you remember him. He's honest to a fault as he gives you a scared smile, holding out his hand for you to reach. It’s fine, it’s fine if you forgot about him, he’s not mad! All that matters is that he finally found you after so many years! He's here now, so won't you hold his hand like you did before and come with him instead?

Venti would never have the heart to kidnap you, the guilt would eat him alive. If he ends up committing to that act, he wouldn't have the right to call himself the god of freedom, would he? That’s why, you’ll just have to trust him, he swears he’ll make you even happier than you were before! Please…?

okay unoriginal but ahhhh genshin danganronpa au......

i kinda see makoto as the anemo archon dkjfkshd he’d be much different personality wise from venti but their views line up from what i can tell. letting the people rule themselves and keeping watch from afar, encouraging them to find purpose in their freedom.....that sounds like makoto to me. i’d like to think he keeps the archon thing under wraps so he can just wander around mondstadt normally like zhongli does.

speaking of which, i think byakuya might work as the geo archon. contracts and stiff aura and all. though he’d be more lonesome than zhongli and probably have a better grasp on his money haha. for a businessman, he’s awfully content to sit back and just pitch in occasionally but zhongli is also meant to be a support, so i figure it could work. also i just. love the idea of makoto and byakuya bonding over the whole immortal god thing like they do over their shared trauma in canon.........

i think nagito might work as the anemo adeptus? the hp draining fighting style and karma thing matches up a bit with ko’s horrible self depreciation and esteem as well as his luck cycle if you squint. xiao’s design is also pretty firmly rooted in chinese culture and ko’s name implies an older lineage or something. also venti-xiao makoto-nagito parallels go brrrrrrrrrr (forgive my reaching here i’m spitballing)

as for the traveler.......i have no idea dkfjskhfkd. there’s so many characters that it’s hard to pick just one. i’m biased towards traveler hajime abyss prince izuru because i just want hajime and makoto shenanigans and later on, hajime trying to get nagito to chill out during the lantern rite. also izuru would totally have the skill to be able to just climb up the ranks like that especially if he were bored and found that kinda thing to be interesting. (and the aesthetic of that idea bangs hard i will not lie)

oooo but also i just thought of traveler mukuro abyss princess junko........mukuro would definitely be desperate to try and find her sister again, but i could see her being willing to help out everyone else along the way. junko would also totally become the abyss princess just because she could and have the time of her life doing it.

in the case of mukuro-junko, i think the unknown god could be izuru. if it’s hajime-izuru then junko would probably fit. also if we go with the “paimon is the unknown god” theory, can you imagine mukuro traveling with a little hajime? dkfjkehf their friendship......so pog.......though i’m not sure who paimon would be if it were hajime-izuru twins. maybe chiaki? though her and izuru being the same person trips me out a bit aha.........

oh but in the note i have in bear about this au, i actually have kyoko as the traveler! no abyss leader is listed, though i’m thinking maybe shuichi because 1.) detective solidarity and 2.) honestly evil shu is one of my favorite things ever......or maybe he could be paimon because of the mc/helper vibes? that also could lead back to the bad guy shu thing. ack i like all of these possibilities......ohhh and it could also work with kaede traveler!! gah i could see her being so heartbroken finding out that shuichi, someone she trusted and used to travel with, could betray her like that......

uh moving on, so. i know we don’t have much info on the other archons and i just listed her as a traveler but. but but but!!!! consider: electro archon kyoko. just. the purple aesthetic matches so hard......also something i notice, people with electro visions tend to have a strong sense of devotion to something? razor to his lupical, lisa to her magic and research of the elements, keqing to her work and the qixing. beidou, her ship and crew, and fischl, her fantasies. kyoko’s pretty dedicated to being a detective, and i figure it could work.

also i just like anemo and electro because it brings up the imagery of a storm, but also like. electricity isn’t the most gentle thing ever. kyoko isn’t super soft all the time, but she does have a soft spot for makoto, and i like the image of him sweeping in on a gust of wind and her laughing quietly, her eyes sparking a bit as he stumbles and lands next to her with a big goofy grin. just. man i love them.......also i like the image of geo and electro not being the most compatible or reactive elements together and kyoko and byakuya kinda begrudgingly getting along because of makoto dkfjskjdjshdk
