hello! I've seen your drawings in the httyd book tags and they are very well done. But i will admit i don't really get the appeal of vore. I'm not disgusted by it or anything I'm really just confused. I was wondering if you would please help me understand what you enjoy about it? Thank you either way!

Hello! Thank you for your politeness and curiousity, i understand not getting it and thank you for being nice about it. I missed your post asking about the appeal, i woke up to this ask and got very confused. I'm not into vore sexually myself (i also happen to be ace, i'm not into anything sexually), and beyond just the stuff i've shown off i enjoy safe and not-safe stuff (with peril and death being involved) thought it varies on my mood quite a bit. The amount of internal shame i've felt over it througout the years is a lot, because people online can be really mean (even if it's not directed at me, since i never actually showed up in any vore-related spaces, just observed from a distance), but recently i've just decided fuck it. Explaining the appeal is tricky, because it's just a thing i found interesting in childhood/early teens that i didn't even know could be a kink untill i was like 16? it's everywhere if you look for it, kids shows have it quite a bit. If i had to summarize my feelings as like. An observer to vore, it's something about seeing a creature disappear completely into another i guess? Sometimes to never reappear, sometimes to the ends of safety. Explaining the safe vore enjoyment as being like a Tight hug might be the best because yeah, not really any closer you can get, the safety also comes from being cut off from the outside world entirely and the thing cutting you off from it being (presumably) someone you trust to keep you safe. It's also just weird fun. With Fatal and perilours stuff..... i have less of an explanation, even thought i personally like them too. It's a weird fun dramatic & perilous situation i guess. Throw some guys into that situation, they won't have a good time. It's got many dangers you can explore, and that's always fun. A lot of it for me is imagery and vibes, so an entirely coherent explanation has also been elluding me. Hope this helps at all.
