#sasha speaks#remember when we had a full enough orchestra to play romantic/post romantic symphonies...#okay we had to hire a couple of ringers but like. we did not have a contrabassoon of our own.#oh the good old days before covid when we had three oboists...and a clarinet who could also play oboe sometimes...#i'm not even That Much of a romantic/postromantic symphony guy i am so classical/beethovenian at heart#but saint saens 3. dvorak 8 and 9. tchaik 1....special to me
