Y'all want to hear a story about something that should have been a sign I'm autistic and something that haunts me to my cringe core?

When I was a kid, maybe 10 or 11, I was being interviewed by the local news channel on a pumpkin patch I was visiting. I don't remember any of the other questions or answers I gave, just the worst, stupidest answer I gave.

The cameraman asked me to describe the pumpkin patch and what I saw.

I looked around, there was a lot of dirt, tree bark, and leaves littering the ground. "Brown."

WHY DID I SAY THAT?!!?! THIS IS ONE OF THE TOP MEMORIES THAT REPLAYS IN MY BRAIN WHEN IM EMBARRASSED. I COULD HAVE SAID WOW, THERE ARE SO MANY PUMPKINS OR A LOT OF FAMILIES ARE HERE HAVING FUN. BUT I SAID BROWN LIKE THE FUCKING DIRT.
