it’s your first time seeing jungkook since the wreck and you’re mesmerized. despite his scratched-up face, he’s still the same handsome man you fell in love with. your eyes travel to the brace on his left arm while his right looks a lot better than the pictures eunwoo had shown you when he was at the hospital.

“Yn welcome him, give moon to me” whispers alina as she gently takes the small infant from your arms. once moon is comfortable in your best friend’s embrace, you go up to jungkook and wrap your arms around his waist burying your face in his chest. “i missed you so much” you say and the longer you hold him you find yourself bursting into tears.

the emotional moment is enough to bring everyone in the room to tears. it’s a miracle, a blessing that you’re able to stand here and hold your lifelong partner because the last time you held him he was unconscious in your arms but here he is—alive and well.

you pull back from jungkook’s chest and place your hands on his wet face to wipe his tears away. “wow…never thought i’d be brought to tears when i told myself i wasn’t going to cry” says jae-eon as he wipes his tears with a tissues provided by ji-yeon.

he then approaches you both and turns his attention to jungkook. “son, i am so proud of the man you’ve become and i can confidently say that you have hit the jackpot. although a simple sorry cannot fix everything i’ve done i hope that strengthening our bond is a step towards your forgiveness. if there is anything and i mean anything either of you need please do not hesitate to call”

“and we mean it. we’re right here for the both of you” says ji-yeon as she stands beside her husband who goes to embrace you and then jungkook. eunwoo is shocked. for years, jungkook and jae-eon have never seen eye-to-eye but it’s time to let that ship sail.

and it’s all thanks to you.

“alright alright, enough with the mushy stuff. don’t you think we’ve cried enough?” interrupts eunwoo. “it’s time to celebrate guys!!”

alina mentally facepalms herself before passing moon over to you so jungkook can get a chance to hold his small daughter. “she might be hungry. wanna feed her? here, sit right here. i’m gonna warm her bottle” you gently place moon in jungkook’s arms before heading to the kitchen.

Jungkook is SO happy.

As he holds another piece of his heart in his arms- he is a mess. She’s so tiny and beautiful, all he feels is nostalgia, the first time he didn’t even know to hold a baby but now that his princess- his moon is here, Jungkook holds her like a pro.

So much better than with Seol.

“Awww look at you- absolutely beautiful like the moon- my moon.” He whispers to her, cradling her in his arms, kissing her tiny chubby face as he holds her tightly to his chest.

Eunwoo was actually right. She’s just like him, she also resembles her older brother, You’ve given him such a beautiful baby.

Just as he’s looking at moon, savoring the feeling of finally getting to hold her, you approach him.

She’s so hungry, still sleepy as you hand Jungkook her bottle.

“She’s so beautiful yn- her name is so fitting.” He coos, gently pushing the bottle into her mouth. Jungkook then looks at you, his eyes sparkling with an obsessive look.

“Now you are mine forever aren’t you?” He whispers to you.

It’s been a few hours. And now moon is sleeping. Jungkook and you are with his friends, surrounded by love. “GUYS LETS PLAY UNO.” Jaehyun suggests.

It’s so stupid but why not? “Okay fine. But the winner gets to do whatever he wants.” Jungkook winks. “Girls can do whatever they wish to.”

 The guys begin to play UNO while the girls start to sharing your new experience of being a mother and the girls are so happy for you and Jungkook.

“Wow yn.. You are so strong. I kind of imagine delivering a child in a situation like that.” Lisa remarks, alina agrees. “you’re literally like a superhero that’s why he’s so obsessed with you.” Lisa goes on.

“Actually…. Mingyu and I have started trying for a baby too.. so maybe we might be next?” Jihyo blushes, sharing her progress with you all.

“YAY! ANOTHER BABY.”
