Animated Movies I think could make Loki cry | Marvel Headcanons

Okay heads up this not meant to be serious but I love animated movies, I love Loki and I'm in a hurt/comfort trope mood so my mind wandered off to what animated movies could make Loki go:

or at least...

Walt Disney Pictures:

Dumbo: especially the song Baby Mine, Loki is such a momma's boy that he would crumble like a cookie, more if you settle in post TDW. Also he would project on Dumbo being the outsider and would be obssessed with the character.

Bambi: again, momma's boy syndrome would get to him and he'd be holding back tears.

The Lion King: Mufasa's death, EVERYONE cries with that, Thor would be more susceptible to that one tho. Loki could still somewhat relate to the "prince who ran away" trope in a sad way.

Lilo & Stitch: especially if he watches it with Thor, everyone melts to Stitch but Loki is another level: blue? Alien? Dangerous? 🥺 Also back to the Thor point, the movie focusses on the hardships two siblings deal with, both would break.

Treasure Planet: the way Jim is abandonded by his father would strike a really sensitive nerve on the younger Odinson since he thinks Odin didn't really love him (he did baby I swear 😭)

Brother Bear: same point of siblings as Lilo & Stitch, and more considering the dynamic of both being adopted and the little being an annoying little shit.

Honorable mentions to Encanto because Bruno, but I don't think he'd actually cry, just painfully relate and The Beauty and the Beast, difinetely one to project on Adam (the beast) about being seen as a monster and seeing his happily ever after would give him hope.

PIXAR:

I don't think any would literally break him to the point of tears but maybe Inside out and Wall-E would move him.

DreamWorks:

Prince of Egypt: oh the parallelism between MCU!Loki and Moses fans of both movies found is nothing new, and so would Loki who'd definetely feel all of Moses pain as his pain.

How to Train your Dragon 2: (first off, Loki and Thor would ADORE the HTTYD saga okay?) I think mainly because of Stoick's death, since I believe Loki do blames himself for Odin's death and he deep down carries some guilt from killing Laufey (don't honey). So the grief from Stoick's death would hit hard.

This is not a new movie but man I'm realizing I like it when Loki cracks under all the love he actually has for his brother. Adopted my ass, FAMILY IS FAMILY.

BlueSky and Illumination Studios:

None, sorry. I loved BlueSky but their stories were considerably more light-hearted, which is good! Just not what were looking for.

Same for Illumination.

Laika:

Oof, this one pains me because Coraline is one of my favorite movies ever and my all time favorite horror movie (I still fear cry when I watch it lol) but non could break Loki.

He would like the studios' crown jewels: Coraline and the Corpse' Bride they're beautiful and I imagine right up Loki's alley, mainly Coraline.

Hello Anna  🌸!! 🐓 - What is a comfort movie/show for you? I think I answered this one previously? But Matilda is my all-time favorite comfort movie. As for a show, hm...... Well, there is one particular episode of Dr. Who, the one where they go and meet Vincent Van Gogh and he gets to see how much people love and cherish his work in the future. That one moment really made an impact on me and it’s something I still think about to this day even though I have little interest in watching Dr. Who again. Another comfort movie is Lilo & Stitch since AH I do love me a good found family dynamic!!

🐇 - What is a song you really like?

OH you know, I can pick from my Fiona playlist, I really like Orange Trees by Marina when I listen to it. It’s just a very good, fun poppy song that is so very dreamy and makes me feel how I wish summer felt.  🥞 - What is your favorite breakfast food?

I do love SO many!!! Breakfast food is my favorite, uh, genre of food? LOL. I really, really love fried eggs (and eggs in general) and all of the breakfast sides that goes with it: hash browns or fried potatoes, sausage or bacon, toast, etc etc. Fried eggs tend to be the center of my favorite breakfast plates.

🍯 - What is one thing you like about yourself? Y’all have me sweatin’ with this question because I’m not a braggy person, or I try not to be. Uhm, I guess I like that I know how to make certain people laugh?
