Take a Chance - Oh Kyeong-Tae x Fem!Reader
Tumblr media
Synopsis: Oh Kyeong-Tae is a dedicated police officer. He just needs someone to take a chance on him. That person is you, the beautiful detective who’s looking for a partner as passionate as you are. Kyeong-Tae can’t help but fall for you, but relationships between colleagues are frowned upon and he finds himself caught between his dream job, and the woman of his dreams.
A/N: someone please explain to me how the actor who plays Kyeong-Tae is almost 35. I thought he was 21, but he’s older than me 😱 Also, I found THREE different ways to spell this character’s name, so I’ve gone with the most popular spelling I found.
Typed on my phone when I should be working 😬 so there may be errors
Oh Kyeong-Tae had always known he’d wanted to be a police officer. Ever since he was a young boy he’d dreamt of serving his community, protecting the people he cared about.
The day he graduated from the academy was the proudest day of his life, but he quickly learned that not all officers of the law were as passionate as he was. Many of his colleagues were liars and cheats, doing the bare minimum for an easy life and yet somehow managing to soar through the ranks with ease. He was laughed at by his seniors for showing enthusiasm, throwing himself into even the smallest of cases.
If a woman had her handbag stolen, Kyeong-Tae would work round the clock to make sure her belongings were returned. If a petty fight broke out, he’d be there to stop it. He didn’t understand why his colleagues didn’t put the same amount of effort in, didn’t understand why they reserved all their energy for the big cases that involved rich or influential victims. Surely, as a police officer your job was to protect each and every citizen, not just the ones with the big bank accounts.
He’d spent five years in uniform, never understanding why he wasn’t advancing as quickly as the other rookies. Was he not working hard enough? He solved every case put on his desk, and he was out patrolling the streets from dawn until dusk, and yet opportunities just kept passing him by. He wondered if maybe he was just invisible, if he somehow didn’t stand out from the crowd. He’d always been that way, had always blended into the background a little too much. In school he was picked last for sports teams, left out of class projects and never quite seemed to fit in with any of the groups at school.
As an adult he never had much luck with women, his dates never extending beyond the third one as something better always came up for the women he dated. But his parents had always told him that if he kept his head down, and worked hard, it would all pay off in the end.
While Kyeong-Tae was sure he was as invisible at work as he was everywhere else, he hadn’t realised that you had noticed him. You were sick of the layabouts who cruised through life getting everything handed to them on a plate, simply because they knew how to schmooze the right people. You were tired of working with people who didn’t give a shit about the victims of crime, who came to work simply to rise through the ranks. You’d worked your ass off to get where you were, had given your blood, sweat and tears to the force in exchange for a detective’s badge.
Your job in Major Crimes was your entire life, almost every waking hour spent at your desk or on the street. You’d spent the last six months as part of a team cracking down on gang activity in the area, but you could see some of your colleagues weren’t as enthusiastic as others. They dragged their feet, showed up late to meetings and only seemed to put the effort in when the higher ups came to visit.
You were desperate to have someone on your team as dedicated as you, someone who put an equal amount of effort into every case. You’d heard about Kyeong-Tae from numerous members of the public, their constant praise of the young officer a refreshing change of tone. You couldn’t figure out why your colleagues weren’t singing the same praises, and decided you’d find out for yourself whether the officer was worthy of a place on your team.
From the moment Kyeong-Tae joined Major Crimes, he hit the ground running. The two of you were the first ones in the office and the last ones to leave. You worked well together, and for the first time, Kyeong-Tae felt like he belonged somewhere.
He’d be forever grateful to you, the detective who took a chance on him. You were beautiful, and confident, and quite possibly the greatest officer he’d come across. He found himself thinking of you more and more outside of work, his dreams filled with fantasies of the two of your entwined between his sheets. He found himself getting lost in you during briefings, hanging on to your every word like it was gospel. He couldn’t get enough of you, and finally he had to admit to himself that it was more than just workplace admiration. He was hooked on you, so head over heels some days he thought he might explode. You were the first person to see him, to really see who he was, and Kyeong-Tae spent his lonely evenings thinking about how it would feel to kiss your lips, to hear his name roll off your tongue as he buried his head between your thighs.
But relationships between colleagues were forbidden, and as your subordinate, Keyong-Tae didn’t stand a chance. So he kept his fantasies to himself, his growing feelings for you only surfacing when he was alone in his apartment at night.
He continued to work hard, to show you he was worthy of a place on your team. But with each day, he fell harder for you and the stark reality began to set in.
Kyeong-Tae finally had his dream job, but it came at a price. He had almost everything he wanted, but he couldn’t have you.

Stakeout - Oh Kyeong-Tae x Fem!Reader (NSFW)

Take a Chance Stolen Glances
Synopsis: Holed up in a hotel room on a stakeout, temperatures and desires begin to rise, and Oh Kyeong-Tae shows a side of himself you never knew existed.
The hotel room was stifling, the air musty and stale. You’d tried and failed to get the ancient aircon to work when you’d first arrived, but it groaned loudly and then packed in all together. You didn’t dare turn the ceiling fan on, not entirely sure what was keeping the decrepit cooling system in place. It looked dangerously close to falling from the ceiling altogether. You’d been slowly stripping off layers over the last five hours, first removing your leather jacket, then your white blouse, before finally resorting to sitting in your thin camisole top and jeans. Oh Kyeong-Tae sat next to you, fanning himself with the hotel brochure as he stared aimlessly out of the window.
You’d been sent here to capture intel on a possible lead, some big players who were rumoured to have ties to the drugs gang you’d been hunting. They’d arrived at their luxury Airbnb across the road from your shitty hideout a few hours ago, but so far hadn’t done anything remotely illegal. They’d ordered takeout, crashed on the sofa and had been watching Netflix while you sweated away in some seedy hotel room. You weren’t able to open a window, weren’t allowed to turn on any lights in case your targets were alerted to your position. You and Kyeong-Tae had sat in almost complete silence since your arrival, making the odd little bit of small talk here and there.
You wondered if he felt the tension between you, whether he noticed the way the air felt heavy with the desire you could no longer deny. Leaning backwards onto the hard mattress, you propped yourself up on your elbows. Your back and neck were killing you, a result of too many hours spent hunched over your desk with the posture of a croissant. You could feel beads of sweat trickle down your chest, pooling between your cleavage. Absentmindedly, you wiped it away, cursing the cheapskates at head office for refusing to splash out on the nicer hotel next door. You were forced to sit in the dark, with nothing but the streetlights outside illuminating the dank space, as the criminals opposite lounged in luxury. This place was hell’s waiting room.
You didn’t notice Kyeong-Tae watching you, didn’t hear the sharp intake of breath he took as you dipped your index finger between the curves of your breasts. You looked so perfect, spread out on the bed, your cotton camisole clinging to you. As you tipped your head back, he followed the soft contours of your shoulders and neck, watched the rise and fall of your chest and you took deep breaths. He could see you were uncomfortable, could tell something was hurting you by the way you screwed up your eyes. Kyeong-Tae could read you like a book, and something wasn’t right.
“Is everything ok?” he asked you, all too aware of the fact that if he simply moved a few inches to his right, he’d be almost on top of you. “Yeah,” you smiled, “just got a trapped nerve, I think. I just need to stretch out a bit.” Sitting up, you arched your back, extending your arms above your head as you stretched out your aching muscles. Kyeong-Tae watched the way your back curved, pushing your breasts out so perfectly. The sigh of relief that left you was heavenly, and he stiffened at the sound. He was finding it harder to resist you, harder to ignore how beautiful you were. You drove Kyeong-Tae crazy, and he wasn’t sure how much more he could take.
Your sigh of pleasure was quickly overtaken by a gasp of pain. Something caught in your shoulder blade, a sharp pain spasming your back as the fatigued muscle was stretched too far. “Ow, fuck!” you hissed, reaching your arm back to try and release the burning cramp. But it was in the awkward place on your back where neither one of your hands could seem to reach. The pain was blinding, the cramp extending down the right side of your body. “Are you ok?” Kyeong-Tae shot up, startled by the pain evident on your face. “Muscle cramp,” you groaned through gritted teeth, wincing as another wave of pain rolled through your shoulder.
“Can I help?” Kyeong-Tae had taken a course on massage therapy and reflexology, and he knew he’d be able to help ease your pain. He also knew it would be an excuse to touch you, to feel your skin against his. You nodded, desperate for the pain to subside, not realising that his hands against your skin would present an entirely new pain.
As he fingers deftly worked your aching muscle, your body responded. The ache between your thighs was heavenly, but quickly bordered on painful as your imagination ran away with itself. His hands were like magic, melting the pain away in a matter of minutes, and you wondered how they’d feel elsewhere on your body. His touch was so confident, so sure and you couldn’t help but imagine how his fingers would feel inside of you, how it would feel to have his thumb press delicious circles around your clit.
A moan escaped you, half at the relief from the pain in your shoulder, and half at the image of Kyeong-Tae between your legs. It took you a second to realise that sound had come from you, and you clapped a hand over your mouth. “Sorry,” you smiled sheepishly, “that feels a lot better.”
Your moan had Kyeong-Tae standing to attention, his erection pressing uncomfortably against his jeans. The sound was heavenly, coupled with the feel of your skin against his hands. You were perfection, an angel sent straight from heaven, and you were driving him crazy in the best possible way.
The tension in the room was palpable, Kyeong-Tae’s hands still working the muscle of your shoulder. It didn’t hurt anymore, but you didn’t want him to stop. “Shall I keep going?” he whispered. “Yes,” you nodded, “please don’t stop.”
His hands moved a little further down your back, eliciting another soft moan as he melted away months of tension. Kyeong-Tae bit his lip to stifle his own moan, his stiffening cock aching for you. You snuck a glance over at the Airbnb, your targets still slumped in front of Singles Inferno. The bug you’d installed in their apartment picked up nothing but the sounds of them snoring, along with the flirtatious giggles of the contestants on the TV. You were finding it so hard to resist his touch, leaning back into his chest as his hands made their way around your waist and across your stomach. You knew this was wrong, knew you’d get fired if your bosses found out, but you just couldn’t help yourself. Your desire was overwhelming, the ache between your legs unbearable.
Your head came to rest on his shoulder, your gaze meeting. A shuddering breath escaped you as you realised there was no going back. You’d both made it obvious that you wanted each other; now it was just a case of who made the first move.
“Kiss me,” you whispered, your hand reaching up to entangle in his thick, dark hair. Now it was Kyeong-Tae’s turn to moan, months’ worth of dreams coming true in an instant. He wanted to get this right, wanted to make the moment perfect. Taking you gently in his arms, he lowered you down against the mattress. It squeaked with the pressure from your bodies, the rusted old springs straining against you. Neither of you seemed to notice though, so completely wrapped up in each other.
Kyeong-Tae looked down at you, your skin flushed with desire, your chest heaving with anticipation. He wanted to commit this moment to memory, wanted to make sure the look on your face was etched into his brain forevermore. He pressed his body down on top yours, his lips meeting yours in the softest of kisses. You swallowed each other’s moans, every cell of your body craving his touch. His tongue grazed your lower lip, his hand caressing your cheek as he pushed his body against yours. You could feel his erection against your hip, could feel how badly he wanted you.
“I want you,” Kyeong-Tae groaned, thrusting his hips against yours, desperate to feel your body against his. “I’m yours,” you breathed, “I’m all yours.” This was so wrong, so highly unprofessional and frankly dangerous, but you were so caught up in your carnal desires you no longer cared. You craved his touch, needed to feel his fingers, mouth and tongue on your body. You’d deal with the consequences later; right now, you just needed to quench that insatiable ache inside of you.
Kyeong-Tae didn’t need telling twice. He knew you probably didn’t have long, and he refused to waste time playing games. He unbuttoned your jeans, pulling them down around your ankles. Even in the dim light of the hotel room, he could see how wet you were, could see your arousal seeping through your underwear. Hooking his index fingers into the waistband of the delicate fabric, he pulled them down your body.
Your arousal glistened in the orange glow of the streetlamp outside, dripping down onto the bedsheets below. He wanted to touch you, wanted to taste you and he had no idea where to start. “Use your fingers,” you pleaded, “I want them inside me.”
Kyeong-Tae loved it when you ordered him around. After all, you were technically his boss, and he always aimed to please you. He slid one finger inside of you, swiftly followed by another. You were so tight, your walls clenching around his digits. The moan you released was guttural, and Kyeong-Tae clapped his other hand over your mouth to keep you quiet. You couldn’t risk getting caught; not when there were so many things he wanted to do you.
Keeping his hand clamped firmly over your lips, he continued to explore you. His fingers traced delicate patterns through your slick folds before he pushed them back into your tight core. He heard you moan against the palm of his hand, your hips arching into his touch. “More.” Your voice was muffled, but Kyeong-Tae knew what you wanted. He added a third finger, stretching out your tight core as you thrust your hips up, fucking yourself on his thick digits. He could see you had so much pent-up stress, so much tension he wanted to relieve you of.
“Do you need me to make you feel good?” he whispered, picking up the pace as your eyes rolled back into your head. You nodded, whining into his hand. You were usually so calm, so collected, but Kyeong-Tae had reduced you to a whimpering mess. “Do you want me to make you cum?” he asked, enjoying being in control for once. He wanted to see you relax, wanted to see you come undone and unburden yourself from the weight you constantly carried. He heard your muffled whines, saw the desperation in your eyes as you worked your hips against him. “You’re so tight,” he murmured, “so perfect. Let go for me. I want to see how you look when you cum for me.”
His words were your undoing, and Kyeong-Tae moved his hand away from your mouth as you came. You managed to hold in your moans, your body writing with pleasure as your walls clenched around his fingers. Your lips were puffy, your eyes bright as you held his gaze, your legs shaking as you lost control. “Fuck,” was all you could say, pulling him down on top of you. You needed more, needed to repay the favour, needed to feel him inside of you.
Just as you started to unzip his jeans, the speaker next to you crackled to life as your target’s phone began to ring. You both paused, frozen in your embrace as you listened to the conversation. “The buyer will be here in five minutes.” The disjointed voice on the speaker what was you’d been waiting for; it was your que to move.
As fast as lightning, you both dressed, trying to suppress the arousal neither of you had quite managed to satisfy. As you ran out of the hotel and to the Airbnb opposite, you knew what you’d done was wrong, and yet you didn’t feel an ounce of regret. You were a senior detective, someone who was supposed to command the respect of your junior colleagues.
But Kyeong-Tae had shown a new side of himself tonight. You’d been putty in his hands, allowing him to take control. He knew exactly what you wanted, and he hadn’t been afraid to take the lead.
You’d spent so long feeling like you always needed to control every situation, and giving yourself to him had felt so good. You wanted to see what else he could do, wanted to feel the pleasure he’d given you again and again.
Yes, it would probably end badly, but you were hooked on Kyeong-Tae in a way you’d never been with anyone else before.

Take a Chance Stolen Glances Stakeout
Synopsis: Determined to tell Oh Kyeong-Tae that your night at the hotel had been a mistake, you head to his apartment. But instead of ending things, you find yourself between his sheets.
You knew that what you and Oh Kyeong-Tae had done in the hotel was wrong. No matter how good it felt, despite the fire he’d lit inside of you, it never should have happened. Things could have gone so horribly wrong, your inability to quell your desires could you have cost you your job, could have jeopardised the entire case you’d spent months building. Whatever it was that had happened between you that night couldn’t continue. It would stay within the walls of the rundown hotel, a mere fever dream that you would try and forget.
At least, that’s what you’d told yourself as you made your way to Kyeong-Tae’s apartment. You hadn’t had a chance to speak in the days that had passed, too busy interviewing the drug traffickers, too swamped in paperwork to do anything else but work. You could feel your subordinate’s eyes on you as you sat at your desk, only daring to sneak a glance when you were sure he wasn’t looking. This thing between you, it was wrong; but it had felt so good.
You’d gone over to Kyeong-Tae’s apartment to tell him nothing else could happen, that the incident in the hotel room had been a heat of the moment mistake. You’d had so much resolve, but all of that crumbled the moment he opened the door. You’d had every intention of breaking things off, but you now somehow found yourself straddling him, your fingers digging into the toned muscles of his chest as your hips met in agonisingly blissful thrusts. Your moans filled the air of his tiny rooftop apartment, his hands exploring every available inch of your body. “This is wrong,” you breathed, grinding your hips against Kyeong-Tae’s in a way that made him see stars. “Then maybe we should stop,” he whispered, his arms pulling you off him, the feel of him leaving your tight core making you whimper for more. “Do you want me to stop?” He asked you, his eyes filled with longing. “No,” you finally relented, your head tilting back as he pushed himself inside of you again, your heated moans filling his ears.
In the office, you were Kyeong-Tae’s boss, but in the bedroom, he’d discovered that he liked to take charge. That night in the hotel room, he’d enjoyed watching you come undone for him, had relished the way you let him take control, had allowed him to give you what you so desperately needed. He’d never been much of a leader before, but he enjoyed telling you what you to do, liked guiding you to bring you as much as pleasure as possible. You always needed to maintain order, felt the need to take charge in every situation and Kyeong-Tae was determined to show you that sometimes it was ok to relinquish control. You looked so beautiful as you rode him, his hands gripping your hips, guiding you with each thrust. Your breasts bounced as he fucked into you, your loud moans spurring him on. He knew what you were doing was a fireable offence, but neither of you could seem to stop. You were everything he’d ever wanted, and now that he had you, he wasn’t about to let you go.
Kyeong-Tae flipped you on to your back, his lips peppering kisses along your jawline, neck and collarbone. You wrapped your legs around him as he fucked you, whining against him as he whispered the dirtiest sweet nothings into your ear. “Cum for me,” he whispered, “give yourself to me. I want all of you.” His demanding, authoritative personality was so different from how he was at work, usually so meek and mild. You found yourself obeying, each thrust taking you closer to the edge, until you finally let go, your tight walls fluttering around him, your guttural moans his own undoing.
You lay together afterwards, listening to the chaos of the traffic outside his window. Kyeong-Tae’s arms enveloped you, placing gentle kisses on the top of your head as you clung to him. It was no use, as much as you’d tried to fight your desires, you’d been powerless to resist. “We could get into so much trouble,” you sighed, “if we… if we choose to keep seeing each other, it has to remain a secret.” “I know,” he smiled sadly. As much as Kyeong-Tae wanted to sing your praises from the rooftops, he knew that news of your relationship could ruin you both, your careers reduced to lowly traffic cops for the rest of your days. He knew he wouldn’t be able to take you out on a date, wouldn’t be able to walk hand in hand with you down the street, but he’d learn to live with it.
“I can cook for you at home,” he said, “and we can have movie dates on the sofa, and breakfast dates on the roof. We’ll make it work.” His lips grazed delicately over your knuckles, his fingers cupping your cheeks as he looked into your eyes. His whole world was lying right next to him in bed, and Kyeong-Tae would do whatever it took to be with you. He clocked the time on his watch and smiled softly. “In fact, why don’t I cook for you right now?”
You sat and watched while he worked, the most incredible smells filling his small apartment. He was an excellent chef, and you knew there was no going back. You were all in, your secret relationship with your junior detective cemented the moment your lips had touched his on that hotel bed.
Keeping your feelings for each other a secret would be hard but tonight had ignited something in your souls that neither of you wanted to let go of. If you had to sneak around in order to be together, then you would. What you had together surpassed any logic, the chemistry between you too strong to deny.
You stayed with him that night, your body flush against his as Kyeong-Tae held you close. You had no idea how this would, but you knew you’d be fools if you didn’t at least try to build a relationship with the man who made you feel alive.

Take a Chance
Synopsis: When you find yourself unable to tear yourself from a grisly case, Oh Kyeong-Tae keeps you company. But the growing chemistry is getting harder to ignore, with neither one of you sure how much longer you’ll be able to keep your desires hidden.
The office was in near darkness, most of your team having left for the night. You knew you should leave too, knew you should catch up the sleep you’d desperately been missing, but you couldn’t seem to drag yourself away from your desk. You’d spent the last two weeks trying to catch a drug gang, one that prayed on the weakness and vulnerability of teenagers. They’d swept through the city like a hurricane, leaving a trail of destruction behind them. Multiple overdoses and three deaths had kept you cemented to your seat, unable to go home for fear of feeling like a failure.
You’d sent the rest of your team home to rest and spend time with their families. As much as you wanted to catch the bastards destroying the lives so many people, you knew your team members still had lives to lead. But you didn’t; any semblance of a social life was sucked dry by this job, taking your friends, family and boyfriends one by one. You couldn’t remember the last time you’d had a date; couldn’t remember the last time you’d gone on a girl’s night out without a care in the world. You’d completely closed yourself off to everyone, and you only had yourself to blame.
“You’re still here?” Oh Kyeong-Tae wasn’t surprised to still find you in the office. You worked harder than anyone he knew, but he hated to watch you run yourself into the ground. You’d ordered him to go home a few hours earlier, but he’d returned when he realised he’d left his wallet at his desk. You looked up at him, the bags under your eyes clearly visible even in the dim office lights. “I can’t bring myself to go home,” you admitted, stifling a yawn as you again looked at the embarrassingly sparse evidence board. You had almost nothing on the people who were causing such devastation in your town, and it chewed away at you, the guilt almost unbearable.
“You need to rest,” Kyeong-Tae said, coming to sit by your desk. Even sleep deprived and exhausted, he still thought you were so beautiful. “Have you eaten?” he asked, knowing you often forgot to take care of yourself, so wrapped up in your investigations. “No,” you sighed, “I know I need to. I just…” You didn’t know how to explain your feelings. You didn’t know how to tell Kyeong-Tae that you felt physically unable to go home. “You feel like if you rest, you’re letting the victims down?” he offered. Kyeong-Tae was observant, and he’d spent a lot of time watching you. He’d gotten to know you well over the last few months, had started to pick up on the little things that made you tick.
He knew you needed at least two coffees in you before you could tolerate anyone, he knew you chewed the inside of your cheek when you were stressed, and he knew that you found it almost impossible to switch off during a case. He wanted to tell you it was ok to take a break, that you couldn’t solve cases if you were burnt out. But Kyeong-Tae also knew you were stubborn, and that you never listened to anything anyone said. He wouldn’t be able to make you go home, but he could make sure you were well fed and caffeinated. “I’ll be a back in a moment,” he smiled, before grabbing his wallet and heading out. He hadn’t seen you eat all day and knew you must be starving. Heading to a local fast-food place, Kyeong-Tae loaded up on food and coffee, returning to the office ladened down with bags.
“You didn’t need to do all this,” you sighed, but your stomach betrayed you by growling loudly. You hated it when people tried to help you; it made you feel weak and useless. But Kyeong-Tae was sweet, and you were absolutely starving. “You need to eat. Please,” Kyeong-Tae offered you one of the bags before pulling up a chair. “We’ll eat and then we’ll look at the evidence again.” You were glad to have his company, the two of you eating in companionable silence as you went over the case for the millionth time.
Kyeong-Tae was so kind, so generous and you found yourself gravitating to him as each day passed. He kept you level-headed, kept you sane on the days when work got too much. His presence was calming, and you enjoyed working with him more than you wanted to admit. He was handsome, and hard working and the more you thought about it, the more you realised he was everything you wanted. He understood you; he got why you were so stubborn and determined, and he accepted you just the way you were. He didn’t try to change you, didn’t try to make you into someone you weren’t. You tried to deny the growing attraction, but you found it harder to push your feelings down.
He stayed with you until the early hours of the morning, both of you pouring over witness statements, crime scene photos and tiny snippets of DNA evidence. Neither of you wanted to leave, partly due to your commitment to the job, but also because neither of you wanted to say goodbye. There was an underlying tension between you, one that had been slowly fizzing away for the last few months. You felt the spark each time you both entered a room, felt the fire deep in the pit of your stomach when your gaze met from across the room. There was something there, something that you wished you could explore. As you sat at your desk, you thought about Kyeong-Tae laying you down on top of the solid oak surface, making love to you as you moaned his name.
You tried to rid the thought from your mind, but it was well and truly ingrained on the front of your brain, further fuelling your desires. You were playing a dangerous game by allowing your fantasies to play out as much as they did, but you couldn’t resist. You knew you had to find some way of getting Kyeong-Tae out of your head, before you found yourself doing something you’d regret. Sleeping with a colleague was an absolute no-go, and it could wreak havoc on your career. But you’d seen the way he looked at you, had noticed the stolen glances he gave you when he thought you weren’t looking. You wondered in Kyeong-Tae knew you looked at him too, whether he knew you lay awake at night and thought of him.
Even now, sitting so close together as you worked, you wondered if he could hear your heart hammering in your chest, whether he could sense the mounting desperation you felt for him. You didn’t realise that he was thinking the same, wondering if you knew how tense he felt around you, if you could tell that his heart was pounding in his chest as he thought you fucking you on your desk, and then on his.
You both knew you wanted something you couldn’t have, and you both knew you needed to be careful. If you gave in to your desires, there’d be no going back.
But actions had consequences, and for you those consequences could mean the end of the career you’d worked so hard to build.
