plot concept:

older regular guy gets put into position of extreme power by a large group of people. he feels sorta unqualified, but goes along with it anyway. after a while in this position, he meets a young woman who is obviously deeply traumatised but also incredibly powerful, along with her best friend who’s really only along for the ride. he accidentally imprints on the young woman and later tells her he sees her as a daughter he never had. she (rightfully) freaks the fuck out. he later learns she technically is his daughter.
