One Piece episode 1111

Woo! Plot is coming along!

I kept thinking the silhouette for who was coming down the stairs and who had shot Shaka was a pretty revealing/obvious to who it was. And lo! It actually showed who it was.

Some nice animation when S-Shark was gonna attack. Sanji still hasn't really done much. On that note, <3 on Robin saying there'll always be someone to come help Nami when she's in trouble. It gave me fond Wano flashbacks with Black Maria, but flipped around. I do like how the crew have gotten to a point where they can genuinely rely on each other.

The Usopp gag is still funny.

I liked the "3 months ago" explanation. It helped put things in context. Hilariously, we still haven't learned what this incident is. Though I think the Straw Hats and co. should be leaving Egghead soon.

I really liked the bit where the researchers finally evacuated. Yay.

Also like how the anime's been showing more of Saturn. It will help later when he becomes more of a jerk/threat.

I completely forgot about Robin and Chopper going with Atlas to the sealed off part of the Lab. I remember there being the part that hadn't been used, but had forgotten who was with who. Robin being there makes sense in retrospect, knowing what I know about what happens after the plot jumps forward a little bit.

Still waiting on Sabo's explanation and Cobra's death.

Wow. So we're getting a whole episode about the Red-Hair vs Kid pirates. On one hand, I don't recall it taking up a full chapter, but these episodes have been splitting chapters for awhile, I think. On the other hand, it's a cool way to extent the time between where the anime is and where the manga is. Also, good for Kid finally having an episode I might actually be able to remember him in as a distinct character without lots of other characters being involved (outside of his loyalty to Killer/crewmates).

Finally, I keep thinking this now, but if those final character explanations were real, how many people would donate to the Punk Library?
