drabble idea where sans is an author underground and reader is just a video game character okay send blog post it’s under there 🤝🤝

This is embarrassing. He doesn’t even know what to write. Sans scoots away from the empty document on his computer, face buried deep in his hands. Maybe he should just cut his losses and go to sleep. Again.

But he doesn’t go to sleep. He mopes for a minute, then glances back at his computer and sighs, pulling himself closer again. Instead of agonizing over the blank page, he opens the UnderNet.

Scrolling will totally help him forget his problems.

And it does, for a few minutes.

He leaves five or twelve comments on Papyrus’ page, swipes through a few videos, only to quickly stumble onto another drawing of you. The caption says:

‘miss this game sm. who’s ur fave character? ^.^’ His thumb hovers over the keypad for a moment, then he ‘likes’ it.

It was a few years ago from now when he was getting coffee with Alphys, and she was gabbing to him about the things she had found in Waterfall. He was surprised when she handed him a copy of a video game he had never seen before.

“keep it, alph. you’ll appreciate it more than me.” Sans tried to respectfully decline, honestly thinking he’d be too lazy to play.

But Alphys insisted, her claw tapping the package. “I found a b-bunch of copies, actually. I-I’ve been trying to p-pass them around, get a bunch of p-people i-into it.”

“and how many you got so far?” he asked, placing his skull in his palm.

“Uhm, Undyne! A-and Asgore, for a f-few minutes…” She pushed the game towards him on the table. “And th-they both liked it! C-Can you just try it out?”

Sans shrugged and took the game from her, doubting that he would. But he could give it to Papyrus, maybe he’d get a kick out of it. He glanced at the cover, decorated with humans in odd-looking outfits. You didn’t stick out to him, not at first.

The video game ended up on the bookstand, under his quantum physics/joke textbook, for weeks. He was a busy guy, okay?

It would’ve sat there longer too, had Undyne not been over soon after. She grabbed the dusty case and insisted that they all play, waving it around wildly.

“It’s got swords and chainsaws, awesome characters, and a totally badass story! We’ve gotta take turns between levels!” Her eye had sparkled, and Papyrus had squealed at the thought, and that was how Sans found himself on the couch, sandwiched between them and watching them play.

It was a simple RPG adventure. And honestly, it didn’t seem like anything crazy to him, so he was content with just watching. But of course after a while his brother was shoving a controller in his hand and insisting he have a turn.

“alright, alright. ulna’t get your radius in a twist.”

“OH MY GOD, SANS. JUST PLAY.”

He snorted, but complied, actually enjoying solving some of the puzzles. He thought the art style was neat, too. And the NPCs were kind of interesting.

Especially you.

You were a loyal companion to Sans’ character, and he immediately noticed how… endeared he was by you. Your dialogue genuinely made him laugh out loud— he was definitely stealing some of your material. And your character just had this… aura, no, mystery about you, like you knew something more than he did.

Maybe this game was cooler than he thought.

Sans found himself quickly exhausting your dialogue options. He was just curious about what you had to say. When Undyne started to complain, he blinked, and handed the controller to her. He’d gotten distracted.

It’s only really spiraled from there. After playing the whole thing through right after Undyne left, he’s been a fan of the game ever since.

But if someone really asked him about it, he’s not sure what he would say. He liked it, but not much else. Because he wants to seem casual about it. He is casual about it.

That’s why he’s here now, a few years later, struggling to get down thoughts about you onto his keyboard. Super casual indeed.

He sucks in a breath, finally opening the document page again. You didn’t just fascinate him. He thought about you constantly, more than he’d like to admit. He found himself seeking you out outside your game, which worked well since it became pretty popular on UnderNet. He’s read his fair share of theories about you, only half of which he agrees with.

He wasn’t sure at all what to make of it, but he knew he liked thinking about you a lot. Sans had a lot of time for daydreaming as a sentry, since no humans ever actually came through. But that didn’t mean he couldn’t imagine you, shuffling past him in the snowy forrest.

Can he write about that? Sans puts down a few sentences, but it doesn’t really go anywhere, so he deletes it.

It’s not like he hasn’t tried with, y’know, real people. But he’s found that it’s a lot of effort to make relationships work. Sans has had a few great ones, but things always just sort of fizzled out. He hasn’t given up on it, but there are only so many folks down here. And he has a funny habit of finding his way back to you.

Is his little crush odd? Uh, yeah, maybe. But when his chest swells at the thought of you, or he thinks of a joke he just wishes he could tell you, he has to admit that he’s never really felt like this before.

He startles at the sound of pots banging downstairs. Papyrus, probably starting on dinner. For some reason, he wonders if you’d like his brother’s cooking. He pictures you at the table, eating and laughing with them in their living room. It’s sweet, but he shakes his head. Still underground. Not quite what he wanted.

When he thinks about what would really make him happy, he sees himself on the surface. The sun is hot against his face, and there’s a sky that somehow never stops. And when he looks, the hand entwined with his is yours.

Suddenly, he knows what he wants to write about.

Charlie Morningstar🌈 + Undertale❤️

🌈Upon entering your room, Charlie was about to remind you to come down to the lobby for the group exercise, until she noticed you being completely immersed on your computer. Curious, she walked over to you slowly, leaning over a bit to stare at your screen, wondering what you were doing. Noticing the shadow that had outlined in front of you, you looked up to see Charlie, staring with adorable curious eyes at the screen.

🌈"Oh Hey Charlie! I'll be right down, let me just try to find Temmie village first." Her red pupils were gazing at the screen with fascination, "Oooo what is this?" She had sat on the bed, where you were laying, computer still stationed on your legs. "Oh its a game called Undertale, its really cute and fun." Looking back at the screen, you motioned your hand to move the main character, to follow the illuminated mushroom path, searching for the hidden secret. After a couple of tries, you were able to locate the village, that was covered in these adorable dog like creatures, named Temmie. "YOU FOUND IT! OMG THEY ARE SO CUTE!!" Charlie was acting like a sports commentator next to you, she was so astonished by the game, wanting to see more.

🌈Seeing how much Charlie loved the game, you motioned the computer over to her. "Want to play?" Stars were literally in her eyes, once you said that. She nodded her head up and down rapidly, filled with excitement, as she started to play the game on the computer. As the game progressed, Charlie soon learned that the story of the game is about a human, who had fallen into the place called the Underground, where monsters roam. The human ventures throughout, encountering other monsters and either befriends them or attacks them.

🌈Charlie continued to play the game, having completely forgotten about the group exercise. However, Vaggie had managed to find Charlie, reminding her that it was time to come down. Slumping her shoulders, Charlie was so into the game that she didn't want to stop playing, but you told her that you could bring your computer down and both you and her can start playing again after the group exercise, which earned you a bear hug. The group exercise session had ended, and everyone went back to doing their own thing, while both you and Charlie, sat on one of the lounge chairs, continuing the game. The interactions with the human and monster characters always made Charlie smile, especially whenever the character became friends with the human. She loved Undyne cause it reminded her so much of her girlfriend, Vaggie, and she LIVED for the relationship between Undyne and Alphys.

🌈Her number one character, out of all of them, was definitely Toriel. She loved that motherly goat monster so much, wishing she could give her a warm hug. The music was Charlie's biggest compliment about the game, she couldn't get over how catchy some of the songs were. During the other times when you weren't playing the game, since the both of you needed a break, you would hear Charlie hum the "memory" song when the main character gave an umbrella to a statue. PACIFIST was the only route she would choose, the genocide route was a path she never wanted to take in the game, which was sweet since you knew how kind and generous she was, given the fact that she started this hotel. You knew for a fact if these characters were real, she would invite them all to stay, especially Flowey

🌈The day the both of you finished the game, was the day you both cried your eyes out, at the sweet adorable ending. Charlie was so happy that the monsters could finally be free and explore the outside world, as her arms were wrapped around you, tears streaming down her face. "It was so beautiful *sob sob*, but I'm so sad it's over." You placed a reassuring arm around her, trying to provide her some comfort, until an idea came into your head. "There is another game that the creator made. Want to play that?" The tears in Charlies eyes had disappeared, as she glomped you with excitement, happy to play another game with you.

Vaggie🎀 + Legend of Zelda: Breathe of the Wild🛡

🎀Vaggie was, well, she was nice, but she kinda scared you. She always had her spear around with her, ready to strike at anyone if she deemed them a threat. It was hard for you to get close to her, so you decided it was better that way. Charlie knew about your gaming tendencies and she was nice enough to get a video game console set up in the lobby room of the hotel, for you to play with and have other join in as well.

🎀You mostly played by yourself, but sometimes Angel and Husk would join in or either watch you play. Turning on the console, you sat on the couch with the controller in hand, as the game started to load up, as the words Nintendo flashed on the screen. A cut-scene plays with the main character, Link wakes up as a voice speaks to him, urging him to wake up. You progress the story by controlling your character, climbing up certain areas, and defending yourself against monstrous creatures. You were so in tuned with the game that you didn't noticed the shifting on the seat next to you, "Having fun?" Turning your head, you realized Vaggie had sat next to you, giving you a soft smile while her once eye glanced at you and back to the screen.

🎀"Oh..yes I am. I really appreciate Charlie getting this. Tell her again I said thank you." You smiled back at Vaggie, which she responded with a nod. You felt a bit awkward, so you continued playing the game. What surprised you was that Vaggie remained next to you, watching you casually play the game. "Does she like games like this? Should I ask?" Thinking to yourself, you paused the game and turned to look back at Vaggie, asking if she was interested in playing. Not expecting you to say that, Vaggie wasn't sure how to respond. She found the visuals of the game very pleasing and like the adventurousness of it, but she didn't want to intrude on your gameplay. Motioning the controller closer to her, she gave a soft sigh, and grabbed it, giving you a thank you

🎀The gaming continued as the story progressed with Link, traveling to different areas, training hard to learn master skills, upgrade weapons, and defeat the evil creatures that roamed the kingdom. You quickly realized that Vaggie had a bit of a competitive side to her, as she continued playing. She was quick to anger when she lost to the enemies, but would jump and celebrate when she finally beat them. She enjoyed the puzzle concept in the game as well, enjoying how different they were from time to time.

🎀Charlie had checked in on the both of you, happy to see the both of you getting closer, and that Vaggie was making friends, since she knew how heated her girlfriend could get. She gave you a thumbs up and walked away, leaving the two of you to play the game. Vaggie really liked all of the characters, but her favorite was Urbosa. She was the definition of a female warrior, extremely agile and quick. To her enemies, she was feared, but to her friends, she was a kind and motherly women.

🎀Seeing how late it was getting, you both decided to call it a night, as you loaded the save file to save your progress on the game. Letting out a sigh, the both of you leaned back on the couch, feeling exhausted from the long gaming session. "Well that was fun." Vaggie looked at you with a tired smile, while she nodded her head. "Wanna play again tomorrow?" She said to you, stretching her arms up above her head. Smiling back, you said yes, happy that the both of you were coming better friends now.

Angel Dust🕷 + Baldurs Gate 3🗡

🕷Gaming was something you really enjoyed, and it was something you did whenever you had the time since you always attended Charlies exercises at the hotel. Grabbing your non-Vox tech computer, you sat on one of the lounge chairs, and began to start up your game. As your game began to load up, two sets of arms had been placed against your shoulder, causing you to jump. Turning, you saw Angel, leaning against you, smirking, holding a bottle in his other hand-as always

🕷"Whatcha up to toots? Entertaining yourself with some porn huh~" His eyebrows waggled at you - magenta eyes filled with playfulness and somewhat lust. Shaking your head no, you told Angel that you were playing a video game. Angel slumped a bit in disappointment, and turned his head away, mouth guzzling down the beer. The both of you remained in silence as you continued to battle enemies with your team as well as interact with the characters in the game.

🕷You didn't noticed, but Angel eyes were gazing hard at your computer screen. Something about the game intrigued him a bit. He remembered when he was young, him and his sister would often play on the pinball machine, so it's been a while since hes played any type of game. Turning back to look at him, Angel quickly turned his head the other way - pretending he wasn't looking at your screen. Smiling, your poked his shoulder, which made his head to turn back facing you. "Wanna play?" Angel raised his head up in thought, debating it, before he smirked, showing his gold tooth, "Why not?"

🕷The game controls were a bit confusing to him at first, but he was able to get the hang of it. You had to explain to him the concepts of an RPG game, and how you are playing as a certain character, and there is also a storyline in the game as well and your actions/decisions can affect the story and may be good or bad for your party. Angel nodded the whole time you were explaining it, as he started being introduced to each new character in the game. "You can form romantic relationships as well with certain characters too." Angel raised an eyebrow at that, clearly interested.

🕷A few hours into the game, and Angel was groaning in frustration, "Toots, why did you make me play this?! Ya got me simpin for both the sexy vampire and the badass demon!" His comment made you laugh, falling of the couch from how hard you were laughing. "I didn't make you play this, I asked and you volunteered." Angel grabbed your hand, picking you up off the floor, as the both of you continued to play the game. He seemed to sympathize with the character, Astarion, a lot, like his backstory really got to him, but he also enjoyed how flirtatiousQ2w and funny he could be

🕷Seeing how late it has gotten, the both of you decided to call it a night, signing off on the game. Angel stretched his four arms up, letting out a yawn. "This game ain't half bad." You copied him as well, yawning as the both of you got up from the couch, ready to turn in for the night. "Yeah it's a good one, wanna go at it again tomorrow?" Angel smirked, "Hell yes, I need to see more of the horny parts with the vampire." Chuckling, you shook your head at him, as the both of you headed up to your bedrooms, ready to hit the hay.

Welcome To The Skeletwins AU Ask Box!

Snowdin Adventures With The Skeletwins is a fanfiction AU-ish thing revolving around my two favourite comfort characters, Sans and Papyrus! Why is it an AU? Well, the only significant difference (as of right now) is that they're twins! As of right now, there's just the one main story, but there's also a few side stories you can check out here!

I've been inspired by other ask blogs to create my own based on this series! So here, you can ask the twins pretty much anything! Well... almost anything...

No explicit NSFW, please. Both brothers, as well as myself, are part of the asexual spectrum, but they're more on the sex-repulsed side of things. Dirty jokes that can go over kids' heads, however, are okay! But no advances, please! Let's keep this place lighthearted, yeah?

You are allowed to submit your own art of the brothers or Undertale in general, and the brothers will react to it! But like the rule above, please no NSFW art. That would be very much appreciated.

Submit as many questions as you'd like, but please be patient! You can DM me for a private chat if you want (some of you have already done that lol), but I won't always have time to answer.

I don't do ships unless it's a canon ship like Alphyne. But if you want to mention them, that's okay! Just try to steer clear of the more... problematic ones. You know which ships they are. If anything regarding those ships are submitted, neither me nor the brothers will answer it. Sorry!

To any minors that might come across here, don't worry, I will try to make this blog as safe as possible for you! But if anything involving stuff like references to alcohol or stuff like bad mental health or even the kill kill murder route in Undertale comes up, then those questions will be answered. Guys it took ten years but I think I finally figured out who Gaster is

So I was talking to my friend in DMs yesterday about Undertale and I was telling him about how we basically know nothing about Gaster besides that he was the Royal Scientist before Alphys, potentially made Sans's blaster, and was shattered across time in space after falling into his own creation, which we assume was probably the Core. And also how we suspect he's a skeleton because his name is W.D. Gaster (being likely a combination of the fonts Wing Dings and Aster) and the so far the only characters that are named after fonts and speak with a font/typing quirk are obviously Sans and Papyrus, who are obviously skeletons.

So then I was like "haha, what if Sans is Gaster cause they're both sciency and skeletons" as like a joke. And then I started to think about it.

My initial theory was that Sans is just straight up Gaster and the "falling into his own creation and being shattered across time and space" thing was just a metaphor for Sans loosing his shit over figuring out the whole other time lines thing, but that theory had well- a lot of holes, to be nice to myself. For one thing, Sans and Alphys are friends. And if Sans was just straight up Gaster, one would think Alphys would recognize him and be like- "Dude didn't you use to be my boss?" Or smth. And not just Alphys, if Sans was Gaster I would think more people would recognize him. And that doesn't solve and of the weird stuff about Papyrus either. Given that he and Sans BOTH just kinda showed up one day, according to the shop keeper in Snowdin.

But I liked this theory, so I kept thinking, and came to what can only be described as an epiphany or my very own eurika moment.

Sans and Papyrus are BOTH Gaster.

CAUSE THINK ABOUT OK

IT ANSWERS EVERYTHING

Gaster was shattered across time and space after falling into what we assume is the Core. Key word, SHATTERED, as in split into peices. Sans and Papyrus randomly show up one day with little to no explanation of who they are or where they came from? ANSWERED BY THEM BEING WHAT'S PHYSICALLY LEFT OF GASTER IN THEIR REALITY. THEY DID NOT EXIST UNTIL GASTER FELL INTO THE CORE. Sans (and probably Papyrus) using Gaster blasters? ANSWERED BY THEM BEING GASTER. OF COURSE THEY WOULD USE GASTER'S ATTACKS IF THEY WERE GASTER. Sans being significantly physically weaker and smaller than Papyrus, all though he's better with people and scientific concepts? ANSWERED BY THEM BEING UNEVENLY SPLIT. Sans and Papyrus having drastically different personalities, typing styles, and character designs that could almost be described as exact complementary opposites? ANSWERED BY THEM BEING PARTS OF A WHOLE PERSON. Sans only having one glowing eye that's conveniently the same eye that what we assume is the Gaster overworld sprite has open? ANSWERED BY HIM BEING A PEICE OF GASTER.

"Oh but Sans and Papyrus are brothers!" What other word would they have to describe what they are? They're like brothers by mitosis or smth 😭

Edit: actually now that I'm thinking about it, their codepency makes a lot of sense if you look at them this way. They just want to be whole again @_@

Undertale Sans - Everyone is making fun of him because it seems Sans is pretty much just holding the rope. What no one sees is Sans' hand moving as he's tying his opponents' shoelaces together, one after the other, with his blue magic. When the game starts, all of them fall forward. Welp, he won.

Undertale Papyrus - Papyrus is a master at puzzles, so he knows strength is not the answer to this, but only how you position yourself. He's briefing his all team and wins in a few seconds because he knows exactly how to do it. He's very proud of himself.

Underswap Sans - He's a little ball of energy and rage, and he's pulling with all he has, screaming at the top of his lungs. It's a close match, but eventually Blue' unlimited energy surprises his opponents who are exhausted after a few minutes. Blue is celebrating as they're all panting on the floor.

Underswap Papyrus - He was supposed to be with Blue, but Blue said it was his moment and that he would watch him. The opponents pull, Honey faceplants into the ground lol. He did what he could, man...

Underfell Sans - So, Red thought insulting his opponents before the game started would break their focus, so he could win easily. It actually motivated them more, and they destroyed the heck out of him in seconds lol. Red is a sore loser and blips to not hear them talk shit in his back. He's sulking.

Underfell Papyrus - He could have won if he hadn't teamed up with Undyne. Both on them couldn't agree on what strategy to adopt, so they basically screamed at each other and didn't notice the game started. They lost in seconds... Then Edge jumped at her throat, pissed off.

Horrortale Sans - His reaction time is way too slow, and by the time he realizes the game has started, it's already over lol. He's just staring at his empty hands in confusion. Where did the rope go?

Horrortale Papyrus - He sadly can't participate because of his back, but he's cheering his teammates the best he can, by screaming at them to check their position. He's stressing Grillby so much that his flames start to burn for real and then the rope starts to burn. Oops.

Swapfell Sans - He's fighting against Alphys. That's five hours now. None of them wants to let go. There's no public anymore, everyone left hours ago. Nox is growling like an enraged animal, throwing bones at her so she loses her focus, but she's doing the same thing with spears. Rus set up a camera and is taking bets online lol.

Swapfell Papyrus - He does it entirely naked. It confuses his opponents enough for him to win this. Well, he's also banned from ever competing again, but that happened. He doesn't regret anything lol.

Fellswap Gold Sans - Oh, that's easy. He makes all of his opponents' souls suddenly very heavy and watches as they all faceplant into the ground, unable to stand up again. He then picks up the rope and pulls it very slowly towards him, not putting any effort into it. Now, what did he win? He hopes that's money. He loves money.

Fellswap Gold Papyrus - Coffee pulls with his arms but he completely forget he has legs too, and eventually he slips and hits his head hard on the floor. He's not seeing very straight for a few hours after that, but that's ok. At least he got some chocolate as a comforting prize and it's way better than a stupid medal.

It was a beautiful day outside, birds are singing, flowers are blooming.. on days like this, monsters like Sans were standing outside his house chatting with his friend, Alphys who's waiting for both you and Papyrus.

"H-hey sans, tell me something, w-what do you feel about (_____)?"

"Uh.. they're... A great friend.."

"R-Really now?"

She says eyeing him up and down giggling.

"Yeah.."

"S-Sans, I've seen the way you look at them! Tell me the truth."

The skeleton blushes, scratching the back of his neck, looking at the ground while singing and looking back at the lizart woman again.

"Oh well, looks like ya caught me there heh... Can't blame me, can you? they're just so.. perfect.. their eyes, their face, their mouth, their voice, their body, the way they talk... it's all just so... Unique and beautiful.. the way they laugh at my puns... It just makes me feel so... Warm inside you know? They're the one I want in my arms when I wake up and fall asleep.. T-The one I want to get married to! Maybe even have a kid someday...."

"Oh? Is that so Sans?"

He freezes when he hears your voice and slowly turns around, staring at you, his eye sockets go completely black, his face going bluer than a blueberry. He teleports to his room before any other word could come out of your mouth and slams his face on the mattress, grabbing the blanket and wrapping himself on it, screaming into the fluffy pillows.

Hot take, I don't like the Xtale Frisk X Muffet ship because it's basically Fran's but less popular. 

So a while back Jakie released a post (https://jakei95.tumblr.com/post/753964540646014976/this-will-be-the-last-update-about-the-accusations) apologizing and explaining a bunch of drama and problems that occurred within the fandom that included her. One of those things she addresed was the Frisk X Muffet ship, and I have to say her explanation of this doesn't cut it. Her reasoning for this is that we don't really know if Muffet is an actual adult in Canon undertale and the relationship between XFrisk and XMuffet are both consenting adults in an AU so it's okay. But… it’s not. After looking into it, I can say is that most likely Muffet is not a child and it’s not okay to ship her Xtale counterpart with Xtale Frisk.

Starting off with what we know about Muffet is that she wasn't a character made by Toby Fox nor Temmy Chang but rather the OC of a person who contributed enough money to undertale kickstarter to have it put into the game as a fight. Muffet runs a full blown business, wearing snazzy clothing with outrageous prices on her food and also hates anyone who she deems doesn't like spiders, going so as to imply that she would have killed alphys for annoying her by warning her to evacuate during the neutral going on genocide run. All in all she's a pretty interesting character and her song’s an absolute banger.

What does this have to do with the Frisk X Muffet ship?  Well what we do know about monster culture is that all children wear striped shirts, a call back to Earthbound (In which undertale was inspired by). In the pacific and some neutral runs you can get a dialogue from monster kid within Snowdin where they talk to Frisk and say that they must be a kid like them because they’re wearing a striped shirt. This supports the idea that in Monster culture, all children wear striped shirts. This is further supported by the fact that all the child characters that we see with the underground are wearing striped shirts. Monster kid and Asriel have striped shirts and Chara who is adopted by monsterkind is wearing a striped shirt, heck they were wearing one when they fell into the underground and so was Frisk so maybe it’s a universal thing.  

Muffet, on the other hand, is never shown wearing a striped shirt. Now, you could chalk this up to Muffet being an OC that wasn't created by Toby so she would be an exception to this, but you'd think that since she’s believed to be a child by some that she would have some sort of dialogue implying that she was a kid. Fox never skips out on details, so I would expect that if Muffet was a child character she would say something like “oh ho ho ho, I use to have a striped shirt like you, but I got rid of it because it blended to well with my spiders and I was afraid they might get squashed because of it.” but instead she acts like Mr Krabs without the two extra legs and is willing to cannibalize monsters & has with her spiders.

Others also try to use the excuse that she's short therefore she must be a child, but there are two other characters that are adults who are also around the same size as Frisk, those being Sans and Alphys. They both, just like Muffet, have jobs like an adult would. Sans has three- doing stand-up comedy at the MTT Hotel, running multiple food stands throughout the underground, and of course being a sentry. Alphys on the other hand is the Royal scientist. It’s obvious both of them are adults despite there short stature. I mean alphy’s is dating undyne for goodness sake and Toriel tells her when she's about to kiss undyne at the end of true pacifist run that there are children present, not that Alphys is a child. It's also implied that Sans & Alphys know each other through being scientists, so neither of them can be children. We know that Papyrus is obvious adult and Sans is his older brother so of course Sans is an adult too ( and it generally freaks me out that some people try and rationalize saying Sans isn't an adult because of his short stature just so they can ship him with Frisk)

Muffet has a job just like these guys (which no other child does) and never in her dialogue does it imply that she’s a child nor does it ever within canon. Just because it’s never outright stated in the game doesn’t mean that it’s not canon. It’s like how people try to rationalize that sans is a child (cuz he's short) despite all the signs saying he isn’t within the game. 

Now, some people like Jakie may say that since Xtale is an Alternate universe that has both Muffet and Frisk the same age, it’s chill to ship them.

They are w r o n g

Take the ship frans (frisk x sans). Some people try to get around its pedophilic nature by aging frisk up (example sooner or later you'll be mine). This is still really really gross because at the core- it’s a pedophilic ship. You are taking a canon child character and matching them with an adult, then aging the child up like it’s a loophole that “doges” how it’s pedophilic. Lemme repeat that. YOU. yes YOU are taking a canon CHILD and making them be ROMANTICALLY INVOLVED with an ADULT which is a PEDOPHILIC RELATIONSHIP, and you trying and remove its roots by aging them up STILL MAKES IT GROSS. If you are so desperate to ship sans or an adult with someone- MAKE AN OC. 

This reminds me of the ship Xvial which is xgaster X ink (ignoring the fact that both are aroace) with people trying to rationalize that since ink doesn’t have a bio dad that’s a gaster and technically Xgaster isn’t cross and XPapyrus’s bio dad it’s okay to ship them. NO NO IT'S NO GUYS PLEASE UNDERSTAND THIS I'M BEGGING YOU. Ink had TWO dads that are gaster’s and although they aren’t bio related to him THEY’RE STILL HIS PARENTS and cross + XPapyrus see XGaster as a parent. That’s not even mentioning the fact that Xgaster was also emotionally and physically (implied) abusive to them so SHIPPING XVIALS IS GROSS. It’s like incest but with extra steps, and why would Ink date someone they know to have been heavily abusive and manipulative to his friend and their family? The people who ship this are waving a major red flag, one filled with the hole of loophole’s they try to exploit to make this ship normal.

Back on topic, It’s the same principle with Xtale Frisk and Muffet. Frisk in canon undertale is a child while Muffet is an Adult. Although their Xtale counterpart’s may not know this nor do they show it, the creator of xtale (Jakei) DOES. 

THAT MAKES IT NASTY.

The only reason why there isn't a big uproar in the fandom about this is because Muffet isn’t as popular as Sans. But if Jakei had shipped sans with frisk when she began writing Xtale/underverse- most people by today would have had absolutely no tolerance for that crap and she’d be shunned by a larger part of the fandom. 

The fact that Jakei tries to defend this leaves a sour taste in my mouth because you'd have to be either blind or doing mental gymnastics in order to defend it. Like dude it is OBVIOUS. I’m not sure if Jakei is aware that Muffet was an OC which might explain why she thought she was a child, but everything about Muffet points towards her being an adult, just being a less popular character. A pedophilic ship is still a pedophilic ship if you have to age up a character so it wouldn’t be called that.

Needless to say- unless toby fox himself descends down from his chair and says that Muffet is a child or some canon info disproves my conclusion- the ship is gross and I don’t want to deal with anyone who ships it (the same goes for xVials).  -Cheesey thoughts anon

OH MY GOD UUUUUGGGGHHHHHHHH okay. so I think the reason why I have such a strong reaction is because (im crazy, but also) its been quite a bit since we’ve seen a one on one between these 2 dummies (genius scientists) AND THIS ONE IS REALLY SAD KNOWING WHAT THIS PROJECT WILL EVENTUALLY BECOME.

But before going through the pages themselves, I want to first acknowledge the fact that. Wingdings didn’t acknowledge/tell Sans about the tape. That was PROOF of time travel, WHAT ARE YOU DOING??? WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS????????? 😭

WHAT IS HE THINKING IN THAT SICK BRAIN OF HIS- but lets be real for a sec, ive been putting off examining this fact for a bit now, because It was unclear if Wingdings would eventually tell Sans about the tape, but now it has been made very clear that he has absolutely no plans of giving up that piece of information. And that. Confuses me- IN A GOOD WAY Im confused but im INTRIGUED

and NOT because Wingdings isnt telling him, but because he IS telling Sans about his research…So whats the purpose of controlling information like this when it’d be vital to their research?? Well, i’ll get into that after I actually analyze the pages…

First thing I noticed since it was already on the last page of the last update- was Wingdings using the talking stick and pointing it at Sans heheheh makes me giggle so much, that adds to how much I love the set up to this conversation in general. Sans is just sat down looking up as his brother as he yaps about his newest hyperfixation.

I also do find it fun how the soul project will in fact intertwine with what they’ll later discover, I also wonder what and how they’ll use Determination, if at all in this equation. I assume so since thats sorta the whole point of the timelines being all funky, but we’ll just have to see…

And GOD I could yap about the brothers interactions all day… “I trust youre smart enough to-“ STOP RIGHT THERE SANS.

Though I really like Wingdings’ point here on how humans have forgotten magic, and so what they/we define as impossible may not be so to Monsters. Sans’ face in page 2 also- I love it. It’s just like “alr i have my doubts but i’m hearing you out bro-“

BUT MY FAVORITE BIT BY FAR IS THE FACE SMACK/WINGDINGS GETTING ALL UP CLOSE EHVHEHEHEH IT’S SO THEM!!!! THE THEY!!!! THEY ARE THE OF ALL TIME!!!!??!?!?!?!?! Sans’ note here about “You’re the boss” makes me ponder on how…why not Sans? why isn’t HE the royal scientist? well! because he’s a simple man who doesn’t have the ambition that Wingding does. He both doesn’t want to be it, and I imagine doesn’t have the will power to be the boss, lets be real.

There so much to unpack here, in just these 2 frames. It’s actually driving me crazy just a little bit- “You’ve always been the one with the crazy ideas.” and “Sure, let’s do it.” First, its the dialogue, then, its the FACE. Despite Sans hearing out Wingdings, and certainly being curious about it alongside him, he also still very clearly doubts it will go anywhere/be even possible. But that doesn’t change the fact that he has FAITH in his brother, he trusts him, he knows that whatever Wingdings is interested in, its worth researching

It just goes to show that Sans willing to go to the ends of the earth with his brother. To attempt the impossible.

Then Sans reminding Wingdings that Alphys exists 😭 It makes me sad that she’s not in on this explanation, but I get why…I still wonder how Wingdings feels about her, how he feels about getting her involved, i wonder if he’ll fight back at all. I dont personally think so, but also if he did it wouldnt surprise me much-

Whenever I question why Wingdings doesn’t tell Sans about the tape, I tell myself that he’ll just tell him later and theres nothing to analyze! BUT AT THIS POINT I HIGHLY DOUBT IT. So! I want to ponder on that fact.

Wingdings gets Sans involved, but not wholly so.

Well lets first breakdown what the tape said/the contents of the tape as a whole- REWIND THE CLOCK

It talks about how there is something BEYOND the surface, and they must prepare the entire world for its influence. Its also in wingdings’ voice- so that may be a tad concerning. Maybe thats why? not because of the contents but because he doesn’t want Sans to hear that and go “YOU DON’T SOUND WELL- BRO-“.

…Thats my new headcanon/theory I think. “It does not resemble something he would say…yet it is undeniably wingdings.”

Just his luck.

Why did he have to have a favourite pie in a whole other universe?

The Toriel looks very apologetic “I am very sorry. They just sold out very quickly this time. I will have new ones tomorrow morning!”

Blue smiles as he pushes down the disappointment “It is okay! I can always try again later.”

Toriel smiles before motioning towards the other goods she has for sale “Anything else? The cupcakes are amazing today.” she smiles.

Blue shakes his skull “No that is alright. Thank you so much for checking!” he waves and leaves the small bakery.

He sighs as he stands outside.

Damnit.

His luck sucks today. He had hoped he could cheer himself up with some nice pie but it seems like they are out after all. Ugh. Then again, maybe it is his own fault for liking things outside his own universe so much.

Blue looks from side to side. Maybe he can look around a bit? See if there is another bakery. He doubts it because the town, and well this very universe, is very small and he hadn’t seen it when he visited this place with the Stars all that time ago.

But well. He doesn’t really have anything planned today.

He looks left and right and decides to go right for now. He wanders down the street and waves at people along the way.

Okay. So he can’t get the cherry hazelnut pie he wanted. Which is a shame. But he can do something else to cheer him up!

It had just been rough in his underground. Alphys had been very distrusting of the human this time around and it had been exhausting to get her to at least try to get to know them. That is not even the multiverse mess.

At least people don’t demand his help at every turn anymore. Sure he loves helping others but before it got so bad. Back when Dream was still doing the positive guardian thing. People had also demanded help of Blue. And Blue loves to help! But there had been the fear that if he said no it would reflect badly on Dream and Ink.

There is a reason he hardly travelled the multiverse alone before. It was just easier to give himself rest that way.

But now with Dream officially having a new god goal and Ink still being MIA it means people stopped bothering Blue all the time!

Blue tries to ignore the hurt that thinking about Ink brings. He had done so much to help Ink and had thought they had been friends! That Blue meant something to the other! Apparently not. Seeing as Ink hasn’t even shown his face anywhere yet, aside from meetings but Blue doesn’t really count that. They don’t even hang out afterwards. Ink just leaves again.

Blue shakes his skull and keeps walking. It is fine. Ink is also a god and probably busy with god stuff. Reaper was going to talk with Error and Ink about their godhood after all. Ink is probably just busy.

Blue just… he hopes Ink didn’t just… forget him…

Blue shakes his skull and pats his own cheeks twice. Come on Blue! Snap out of it! You got this! No need to dwell on the negatives. Especially if you don’t know what Ink’s reason is! There is no reason to worry or feel sad about things you don’t even know yet!

Blue sighs as he grabs his phone. His phalange hovering over Dream’s icon. No. Dream is dealing with enough. And asking him to track down Ink just so Blue can ask him why he doesn’t want to hang out anymore is just… a lot.

Blue scrolls through his contacts and pauses when he sees Red’s name. Huh. It has been a while since he hang out with Red. Maybe the two of them can go to some motorcross universe and drive a set of bikes around? Just go fast and have fun with a friend? He taps a message and sends it.

Blue grins at his phone as he waits. Oh this is going to be great. Just him and a friend having fun and talking about motorcycles!

A ping and Blue grins before it falls. Red says he can’t at the moment. Bad run going on in his universe and that his brother is very stressed. Apparently the last reset had gone very badly and Red had died and apparently Edge had gotten somekind of memory or dream about it and is hovering a lot more than usual.

Blue sighs but types back that he gets it and if he needs help just to let him know. Red answers with a thumbs up and a thanks.

Blue sighs and just looks up. Huh. He recognises these streets but can’t quite remember where from. Maybe all these areas just look alike? Blue shrugs and looks back at his phone.

Maybe he can ask Sans, or whatever everyone decides to call him. Sans is a bit… strange. No one is quite sure why, Sans least of all. It is just weird how everyone just decided that no nickname really fit him. They tried Comic and Classic. But in the end everyone just ends up referring to him with Sans.

Which is weird as fuck with all of them originally being Sans. Yet Sans is the most Sans.

It is hard to explain.

He finds the number and grins as he is typing a message.

A moment later he answers that he is down to hang out.

Blue grins as he starts typing, not really paying attention to where he is going. He texts his friend about maybe going to Outertale to just hang out at the café. Or even to try and find a new universe.

Sans says he is down and asks if he wants to meet wherever he is now to travel together or to meet at Outertale and search for each other there.

Blue thinks and is about to type for Sans to come to him as he looks up for a reference for Sans to teleport to. Only to freeze.

That is the Cuddly Cat.

More importantly.

That is the back of Killer’s jacket leaving around the side of the building.

Blue doesn’t even answer the text as he runs towards the other road.

He gets there just in time to see the portal melt shut. Blue searches for the right app on his phone and holds it near the slowly fully closing rift. Praying he was fast enough to manage and get there in time.

It takes a moment and the signal the app is picking up disappears. But it is still loading and Blue stares at the program as it slowly slowly loads.

Then it pops up with coordinates to an universe!

Blue stares in shock before seeing another message of Sans appear at the top. He quickly texts him that he is very sorry but that he just spotted the gang out and about.

Sans’s reply is mostly confused. Asking why it matters as Sans thought that was all already solved? So why try and track their movement?

Blue is thorn. Does he share that Dream doesn’t actually know if Nightmare is dead? That Dream is actually looking for Nightmare?

Blue ends up typing that Dream still wants to personally apologise for the gang and Sans says he gets it and just let him know when he got time to hang.

Blue sighs as he opens the right chat window and starts to type. But then removes the message as he tries to type one again.

Over and over as he struggles over what to exactly say before he settles on a message.

“I saw the gang. I know to which universe they went. We got a lead if you want to check it out?”

And he waits.

His phone pings.

“Please.”

Seems like he got plans after all.

Onion Theory

(Aka Abstraction Theory but that isn't as funny)

So I've been doing a lot of thinking on the Undertale and Deltarune meta now that the game is less than two months from release, and I think I've got a good way of thinking about the world: as a series of layers, not unlike an onion. Well, more like how the Earth has layers, but like I said, Onion Theory is funnier.

Getting to the very bottom of it:

Layer 0: The Code

The code is the deepest foundational layer of the utdr universe, functioning similar to tectonic plates. It's also a literal thing, like saving and loading are actual, in-universe things. There isn't much to elaborate on here, but it comes up later, I promise.

Layer 1: Dark Worlds

So Deltarune is a game, similar to the way Undertale is a game, but dissimilar to how, say, The Last of Us is a game. You all know why: you can play The Last of Us aggressively, passively, die once, die a thousand times, have ten saves or a thousand, and it has no impact on the actual characters, because those occurrences don't actually exist within the world. Unlike Undertale and Deltarune, where those things very much do exist. And it seems pretty clear with the way chapters are going, Dark Worlds are meant to represent escapism. Chapter 1 revolves around old toys and trinkets lost in an old school closet, Chapter 2 about the internet and technology, and it's nearly certain Chapter 3 will have a TV theme.

Given these things, it's reasonable to consider Dark Worlds to be an escape from Light Worlds: more simply, games within games. They take place in several layers of abstraction, but just above the code, which would be considered total abstraction.

Layer 1.5: Undertale

This is when it starts to get convoluted. Undertale, on the abstraction scale, would be between the Dark and Light Worlds within Deltarune.

The Underground doesn't seem to represent escapism. In universe it's a real place, beneath a real mountain, and the freeing of the monsters has real consequences in the world. I'm putting it in between Dark Worlds and Light Worlds because of the differences in mechanics. Save points, and therefore save files exist in both Dark Worlds and Undertale, but not in Light Worlds (in fact, Mr. Fox was resistant to have save points in the Light World, likely for a reason).

Several characters in Undertale seem to be able to recognize that they're in a game. Flowey being a main character guilty of this, but also Sans and Asgore can recognize that you've been in certain situations multiple times. Alphys has an interesting role to play here as well, but I'll elaborate on that in a second post. Several characters remark on how familiar you are upon a second playthrough, implying that they're further abstracted than those within the Light World. They recognize you, because on some level, they're closer to the code-- closer to total abstraction.

Layer 2: Light Worlds

To my knowledge, those who reside in the Light World have no understanding that they're in a game. They would not consider themselves one note NPCs. They have rich inner lives and backstories, that are continuing with or without player input. Different from those in the Dark World, who are based off specific things (decks of cards, chess pieces, internet ads, etc.), and presumably stop existing once we enter the Light World. There's little abstraction, and therefore little "meta" elements for characters to detect.

So, cool. We've got a set of foundations for these worlds, but what's the significance of it? Why make these distinctions at all? Well, there's another piece of the puzzle to consider, one that starts connecting everything:

The In Between: FUN Values

"Oh but BadGround, there's no such thing as FUN Values in Deltaru-" Well if you just GIVE ME a second I'll explain it.

As a quick refresher, FUN Values are something that occurs within the code (most abstracted form) of Undertale, represented as a number between 1 and 100. Depending on the number, various things can happen in a playthrough: The Wrong Number Song, Clam Girl, Sans' Prank Call, and totally not Gaster. Not yet, anyway.

What I'm getting at, is that FUN Values are a way for things to travel between and across layers of the world. In other words, traveling from code, aka total abstraction, to the Undertale world, several layers above abstraction. This could also lend to the theory that things happening in Deltarune can leak into the Undertale world via FUN Value. FUN Values don't function as a roulette wheel, the way we think of them now, but more like some cross between a teleportation + time travel occurrence. It allows things to go between the Deltarune and Undertale worlds, using the code as a connecting point.

But what happens when something gets stuck at this connecting point? Or in between layers? What if that which goes down, fails to come back up? Well, that might just be exactly what happened with

December Holiday

Not a ton is known about Dess at the moment. She's Noelle's older sister, she was in the same friend group as Asriel Deltarune, and she's gone. Straight up. We don't know what happened to her, at least not yet, but there's quite a bit of speculation that Dess is the mystery character trapped within the code. There isn't a ton of proof on this front, but it's a solid putting together of the pieces: Dess is missing, we don't know where she went. There's a mystery person in the code, we don't know where they came from. I don't think it's a stretch at all.

However, while there aren't holes in this theory, exactly, there are still two big questions: How? And why?

Well, if we consider Abstraction Onion Theory, we can get a bit of an idea of both. Dess, somehow, fell between the layers of the world, and ended up stuck within the code. And if we consider Onion Theory even harder, we can say that Dess discovered a Dark World, pushing herself one layer deeper into abstraction. It's possible, somehow, she found another Dark World, a game within a game within a game, and became more and more abstracted, until something broke, and she ended up code-bound.

And what if I told you that this has happened before? To another character we all know and love, another character shrouded in mystery? That character, of course, being

Dr. W. D. Gaster

Not a ton is known about Dr. Gaster at the moment. He was the old Royal Scientist in Undertale, he worked before Dr. Alphys, and he's gone. Straight up. We don't know what happened to him, not yet, but there's quite a bit of speculation that he has significant ties to Deltarune.

Keeping Onion Theory in mind, his disappearance starts to make more sense: He "creation," as one of his followers describes it, could have been something designed for inter-dimensional travel. Him "falling into it" could be literal, he fell into the code, total abstraction.

His and Dess' situations are different, however. Dess was only traveling downward, deeper into Dark World after Dark World, and by the time she reached total abstraction, she couldn't find her way out. Dr. Gaster, however, completely nuked himself throughout dimensions. He's in the code, in every layer, and in every point between layers. Not only that, but even beyond layers as well. Up until the final piece of the puzzle:

Real Life: The Final Layer

You really thought yourself separate from these worlds? You think you're separate from these abstractions, these games within games? Did you really think that being within an abstraction doesn't imply a sense of without?

Let me clarify.

Dr. Gaster, as established, somehow created a way to separate pieces of himself throughout the universe, deep into layers of code, with pieces coming back out, either within Undertale or Deltarune, but also, somehow, Twitter. Rather than using code to travel between two equally abstracted layers, pieces of him found itself even further up than he would have ever thought possible.

It is significant that Undertale, Deltarune, Light Worlds, Dark Worlds, are inside these layers of abstraction. It is, too, significant, that we are outside of it.

Code affects these worlds like an earthquake: hard, solid ground, that depends on stability. Once this ground shifts, worlds are changed permanently. Cracks are formed, things fall in, and things shoot out. Mountains are formed as easily as caverns.

But we, the players, affect these worlds like a tornado. From the top down, we level the landscape as we please, destroying areas without discrimination while leaving other places untouched. We disappear as quickly as we show up, and we can never, ever, be predicted.

"There's no way this is my mother"

Sirius saw the girl in the picture and didn't recognize her. But there was a sensation that he knew her very well. She seemed familiar but too far away.

They there were, the same gray eyes he saw when he looked into the mirror everyday. The same arrogant eyebrows. The same cheeky smile. The same black hair.

Many members of his family told him that he looked like her. But Sirius didn't believe it until now.

"Oh that's Wally in the flesh" Uncle Alphard said as he lit his cigarette "Back when she was fun anyway"

Fun, she did look. At least in the old picture he was holding. Walburga looked around eighteen. She was truly beautiful, as she glowed in her youth. She was wearing a cool red dress, ripped thighs, boots and a leather jacket that Sirius would definitely fall in love with.

Walburga wasn't smiling at the camera. She was poking her tongue out. And showing rock fingers. Walburga didn't even like rock, did she?

Sirius couldn't have gotten his good taste from his boring mother.

"Your mother changed a lot" Alphard explained, as if he was reading his nephew's mind "I suspect it was your father's doing... But she is not longer the cool girl from the picture"

It hurt even more, Sirius figured. He felt better believing he had nothing to do with his family. That he was different and better than all of them.

Sirius was very silent and very curious. Walburga conserved her beauty. But she was nothing like the girl from the picture. She dressed elegantly, always. With makeup and jewelry. Always neat.

"I told you, Wally. I don't like Sirius hanging out with the faggot of you brother" Orion commented as he took a sip of his wine.

"Alphard is not a faggot" Walburga answered calmly.

Orion snorted in a mocking way. "Right"

Sirius was too busy staring at his mother, trying to recognize her that he didn't defend his Uncle as always.

Was it really true his father changed her? Alphard didn't want to go into details.

Walburga had noticed she was being stared, though.

Walburga moved on her chair uncomfortably. But she held his gaze.

Hey, it's nighttime here, and I'm getting ready for bed, so here are some sleeping habits!

Presto/Papyrus - What is sleep? Just kidding. He used to sleepwalk a lot when he was younger. You know, back when he actually slept full nights... Sans is pretty much the only thing that can get him to sleep for a little while. He's a moderately heavy sleeper and is prone to thrashing around, but the nightmares do a good job at waking him up. Poor Papyrus...

Lento/Sans - He has an incredibly irregular sleep schedule. Sometimes he sleeps through the night, sometimes he stays up all night, and sometimes it's a mix of both. He can fall asleep standing up and it's kinda creepy. When he's lying down, however, he can actually be quite clingy, hugging the closest people, objects, sometimes even himself... He sleeptalks too. He's chatty, even in his sleep.

Undyne - Snores. Really loudly. She will also kick off the blanket sometimes. She's a pretty deep sleeper. Not much to note since she has a regular sleep schedule.

Alphys - What's a sleep schedule? She definitely stays up all night watching anime and writing fanfiction. Don't tell me she doesn't. She also falls asleep with her phone on her face sometimes.

Asgore - Poor Asgore, man. He loses sleep because of the guilt weighing on his shoulders, the sins crawling on his back... Oh, and his horns get stuck in the pillows. Also a sleep hugger.

Mettaton - Sleeps standing up, kind of. He puts his wheel away and shuts down to recharge. It's quite comfy, actually.

Napstablook - Sleeps on the floor because they feel like garbage 24/7. Also likes sleeping on leaves.

For me, it's partially how rich the pairing is in symbolism and meaning, and how much it could potentially represent with regards to Deltarune's themes... and it's partly because I love the boy with every shred of my soul and I want him to be happy :')

I believe our reasons for liking Kralsei are just VERY similar, symbolism, meaning and Ralsei as well!! And that's why I always identified so much with your analysis about them! You basically write everything I would like to say of them in your texts, haha!!

Kralsei, to me, it's about how the narrative is trying to tell implicitly that Kris and Ralsei's relationship will be about a journey of understanding your identity, understanding yourself, belonging...

Kris and Ralsei have very similar problems at the moment: lack of identity. You see that everything Kris and Ralsei do will always be on Asriel's shadow. Everything Kris had before he left was always because of Asriel and how he was a kind of guide for them. Ralsei clearly has references to Asriel, (and Flowey) the kindness, prince thing and etc. But YET, he still doesn't know what it's like to be Ralsei: he doesn't know what it's to be HIM. And honestly, from there you start to think that there is something much deeper to Ralsei than just being an Asriel from a different universe.

This video talked about a little theory: how Ralsei is there to make Kris find their own identity, I highly recommend watching it! And that's where I wanted to start my point about: Ralsei is here to help Kris, to serve his lightner. But on the other hand, Ralsei also needs to be rescued, he also NEEDS his identify, without living in someone else's shadow, if he will help Kris to be themself, will Kris be grateful enough to do the same for the Darkner who helped them?...

I honestly got to think that maybe this is one of the connections of their names? The Undertale Frisk/Kris Ralsei/Asriel connection?? Where Frisk had to save one last person and it was Asriel????/Hj

This idea of Ralsei and Kris being an allusion to "find yourself" or even "self-love"... It's beautiful to me. Not wanting to go into too much detail, but since 2023, I feel like I've been having symptoms similar to identity crises, very focused on who I am, what I should be and how I should act with everything in general, learning that this is an aspect of Ralsei made me find comfort in him, and Kris as well. The supposed meaning of their relationship comforts me and makes me want to see lots of arts, fics, anything good related to them. I hope one day they develop and we have lovely scenes of them doing arts and crafts, hanging out in Hometown and having fun at school!!!!

I can't forget to mention that the thing about light and dark symbolism!! Both need each other.

If we have the few implications of love between the two in the game, I hope Toby will lead this nicely, in a good developed way. In case of becoming an endgame, could be a good one for the end of Deltarune! And then we will have another important canon couple like Undyne and Alphys and the royal guards muahahaha
