the fact that this man's extreme misogyny went unchecked for so long clearly shows that either his fanbase agrees with his opinions about women or simply considers misogyny not a big enough issue to make them stop watching

thousands, sometimes MILLIONS, of views on somerton's videos = thousands, sometimes MILLIONS, of ppl influenced by his hatred disguised under the thin sheet of 'progressiveness' = continued normalization of misogyny in queer and 'progressive' spaces
