going 6/10 on best picture noms rn!!
#best i can do is gonna be 9 bc i'm still here is not streaming anywhere#but the battle to get myself to watch the other three.............#nickel boys i know is incredibly good i just also know it will be hard and hit hard#the brutalist......... long............ historical fiction about some dude............ tough to get me to sit through i fear..........#a complete unknown i'm torn on bc on the one hand i fucking hate biopics i think 90% of the time they're so formulaic and boring#and SOULLESS like there's nothing more soulless than a movie that only exists to glorify a Celebrity so another Celebrity can win an award#plus i don't really care about bob dylan SORRY i like three songs but in general he is SO whiny and i don't really fuck w folky stuff#on the other hand i'll admit it i'm a chalamet enjoyer and this press tour made me giggle#(we can't stop quoting it. we've been shouting 'BOB DYLAAAAAN!!!!!!!!!
