having brushed up on some. extratextual sources (may or may not have skimmed tvtropes’s basic descriptions) i’m pretty sure that Elden Ring is mostly just fucking complicated lore-wise compared to other ‘from games. relatively less *blatant* environmental storytelling/not as many loredump npcs either. so my constant confusion will be brushed up in time playing/re-playing it (also apparently i’ve just straight-up haven’t been noticing some environemental details which.... wow i’m loosing my touch lfksjkdjflkljfdskljsfdjlk)
