I will always remember walking into John’s apartment in Clovis to meet Jordan for the first time... I was was a young 21 year old college student meeting his 13 year old teenage daughter for the first time. So I brought my large black caboodle with all the makeup I could carry and introduced myself. I remember being so nervous and afraid, was she going to like me, was she going to hate me, was I thinking to much into it? Then we broke the ice one she saw me putting on my makeup asking me questions, looking at all my glitter, that’s all it took was some girl time and makeup... We had our ups and downs like any relationship but little did I know that day I was going to find the dearest friend, one of my closest family member and daughter over time. She was my supporter when I needed her the most in our empty apartment. My protector when others tried to shame me. My shoulder to cry on when things got hard and the young lady who motivated me to be the best stepmother I could be... Now I have held it in for quite sometime but now I get to share it with the world that my amazing, loving, bold, selfless, passionate, caring daughter is now blessing my life again... She is bringing a baby into to this world to share with us and we could be any happier to have this new addition to our family. We know she will be an amazing mother and Nick will be one heck of a father. We are so so excited to be grandparents to another little blessing. Praying for Jordan and Nick in this new journey and for a healthy baby to be born.
