#'but i just somehow gravitate more towards male characters/i just find them more interesting!' ok but examine why #again my problem is examination. there isnt even a lack but just a whole refusal in that community of self examination #of their own biases and bad behavior which really makes them look childish #and like. no i find people who bitch about fandom being so misogynistic while they dont make any effort to talk or create #content about female characters just as annoying (and very whataboutist and hypocritical) but. that doesnt make them any less right #in their complaints that fandom as a whole is woefully male centered and that female characters #often get shoved into 2-3 character trope boxes while make characters have lyricals waxed about their depth #anyways i read 'fiction is meant to be a fantasy outlet!' and then think why does that outlet literally involve. zero women.
