"no, not quoting anything." peyton replied with a shrug, gesturing to the music surrounding them. "plus, we're in a music shop. i think it's self explanatory as to why i was saying what i said." she didn't mean to come off snippy, if she did. "no, you're fine. i can be a bit passionate about music."

"are you quoting something?" astrid asked before she realized it was coming out of her mouth. she made eye contact with the other before looking away slightly embarrassed, "sorry, i didn't mean to sound judgmental. it was just a...curious statement."

peyton nodded her head, "you could say that again. i'm still adjusting myself." she shrugged her shoulders, letting out a small sigh. she didn't think about it a lot, but she did think about how much she missed home. "yeah, do you not have those where you're from?" she asked.

astrid shrugged in response, "i just kind of wandered into this place. i'm still getting my bearings." it's been a few weeks since she's arrived really, but she was still discovering things every day. "so there's music on this thing?" she holds up one of the square record covers.
