Magitek sits there on the floor, looking to the boy, recognizing the barcode. They stay still. Magitek looked down at banner, folded neatly, placed in a box. Magitek had served for a long time, five whole years. Magitek assumed it would be reclaimed now. Magitek sits there and waits.

Magitek is curious if clones are in charge of reclaiming process as well as incineration. Magitek recalled watching incinerator for months before deployment in Lucis. Now, Magitek is here to be recycled. Magitek opens chest cavity, putting down a can of armor polish, a potion bottle, and a single black chocobo feather.

It puts the items aside. They could still have some use. No point burning it too. Magitek was ready now, and waited for the clone to take them away. Nothing happened. Just staring. Magitek stared back. Magitek’s mask and helmet is cold, and cannot feel touch through the metal.

Prompto realizes after it comes out of his mouth that he probably sounds rude. He winces, clearing his throat as he looks up to the man - a glaive, he can tell by the uniform, and chuckles nervously.

“S-Sorry. I’m sure you’re lots of fun to hang out with –” there’s a ‘but’ hanging loosely in the uneasy air, and it takes him a few deep breaths before he addresses it. “But y’know, uh, claustrophobic.”

So of course, the idea of being stuck in an elevator at all is crippling. He slides down onto his knees and tries to keep the panic from setting in.

“Just my luck, right?”

Nyx let out a very clear amused exhale at Prompto's intial reaction, then his following reaction when he started chuckling as if he wanted the floor to swallow him whole.

"Don't mention it, kid." He responded to the obvious elephant in the room first, showing he wasn't offended. However, hearing he's claustrophobic...

"Oh boy." He echoed the boys first words, his voice echoing in the elevator. As Prompto slid down on his knees presumably to keep himself calm, Nyx took a look at the roof of the elevator for a hatch to enter through.

"Well, if you like climbing and getting lost during the process, there's always the emergency exit." He glanced back at Prompto, angling his head to the hatch in question.

The slow blink and hesitation were out of surprise and nothing more.  Noctis had lost track of time, looking out into the distance and sinking into his own thoughts.  It wasn’t such a bad thing, really, but he was grateful for the interruption.

Not that it necessarily showed, one hand going for Prompto’s hair to ruffle it gently in a gesture of affection.  At least, that’s what Noctis thought it was.  “Hey.  What’re you up to?”

And then, for no specific reason at all (maybe instinct, maybe just because), “You okay?”

Watches from afar. He's well aware that Ardyn probably already knows he's here, but he's sneaking around anyway, heart pounding mercilessly in his chest. It was stupid of him to come here alone. So stupid.

Oh, look at that. The little one thinks he’s being so sneaky. Ardyn smirks to himself, making a show of turning so that his back is entirely facing the boy. He’s more than willing to indulge in Prompto’s little assassin games. After all, it’s not like he can be killed - at least, not by this waif of a boy.

Photography, guns, and chocobos, huh? It was actually endearing how everything about himself was just. What he liked and did. And he looked fucking adorable.

She briefly thought of the beat up stuffed Chocobo Blackbeak in her closet, her favorite of the Li’l Malbuddy side characters growing up. Well, she’d always been a fan of birds. Snorting, Crowe swiped right.

Gladiolus immediately flushed at the sight of the shy little blond. He was not used to being this close to people at all and the way Prompto seemed to be thinking it wasn’t going to be an ordinary conversation. He blinked in surprise, however, when soft lips pressed to his own. A smile tugged to his lips as he leaned down to return the action, eager to please It was nice, soft and warm, he enjoyed the contact and practically melted into it. Pulling away softly, though reluctantly he pressed their foreheads together softly with a fond smile.

Many oh man, it’s been a year and two months since I made this blog, and what a seriously awesome journey it’s been! Honestly, I never thought this account would ever come into being. What began ten years ago as a silly fanfic I started back in high school exploded onto a fully realized vision of what I hoped my take on Versus Noctis would become, and so much more. But with anything, I really couldn’t have done it without you guys. 3 years already???

New Years Eve was my 3 year anniversary of turning this blog into an RP blog. Time has gone by so fast but it’s been wonderful for the most part. I appreciate all of my followers, even if we rarely do so or haven’t at all. There’s obviously going to be a few that have really helped me get through these last few years, and especially this last one as it’s been the worst year of my entire life. I want to thank them.

@royalxshock It’s really been this last year that we’ve gotten closer, hasn’t it? We spoke sporadically before but it’s nearly constant now. You’ve supported me in so many ways and through so much of this last year’s utter tragedy that I can’t not mention you here. You’re one of the funniest, most talented people on this site and I wish you were around more but I understand how busy you are. I hope you’re loving your job right now and I honestly hope that you stay this happy.
