When I started shipping them: i can’t remember if i shipped them from the get-go or if there was a specific moment… if there was any particular moment though, it’d probably be the when that tiny bit of miyumei history was revealed in the miyuchris flashback ep lolol. or just before, when 

My thoughts: CHILDHOOD FRIENDS GOT ME W E A K. also why have the rivals-to-friends-to-lovers trope when you could have all three at the same time?? i have A Lot of thoughts but i uh… won’t ramble too much. i’m just… so emo……….

What makes me happy about them:  i love love love how despite that they go to different schools, mei still kazuya’s dearest friend (or… like at least one of his 2 and a half friends LOL). they’re obviously so fond of each other and they, like, GET each other, you feel. ahgadhlja miyuki is so closed off from everyone else but with mei… well, there’s still some distance there but mei is the closesttttt anyone has gotten to him?? ;;;; also i die whenever they watch each other’s games and they’re like? very observant of each other, and low key happy/proud……. really every canon moment kills me

What makes me sad about them: ohhhh man. they have like? kinda similar personalities but that is exactly why they would destroy each other omg. they’re both too stubborn sometimes, too proud. they’re lowkey an “we almost dated” or “the one that got away” kinda ship and it kills me. even if they did date i can see them fighting a lot ;; and it just wouldn’t work out… maybe in another life?

Things done in fanfic that annoys me: just like… characterization i don’t like? like when mei is Too Bratty?? idk. i feel like… i can’t be too picky LOL

Things I look for in fanfic: you already know though. angst, mayybe with some fluff hehehe. a happy ending is optional. a kind of open ended but slightly hopeful ending is uhghghghgh good. + miyuki with Commitment Issues ™ is a very good.

My wishlist: MORE BACKSTORY bc i’m greedy. and let them… hug……. please

Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: hmm.. i ship miyuki with a lot of ppl but the top 3 after mei would be kuramochi, furuya, and nori probably? for mei… i really like itsumei lately hehe

My happily ever after for them: they play on the same pro team, form literally the most op battery, and become the #1 power couple in the sports world, OKAY

How I feel about this character: I ADORE HIM. after miyuki, furuya was one of the characters who really helped get me HOOKED on the series early on, i think. the first few eps are.. eh, but as soon as THIS BOY showed up i was in for a ride. i guess since i didn’t know anything about baseball, he seemed really ~cool~ or smth like that lol. his backstory and why/how he ended up going to seidou really had me like… wow

Any/all the people I ship romantically with this character: furumiyu was actually my first daiya ship, i think? and still has a v special place in my heart

My favorite non-romantic relationship for this character: can i say the whole team? LOL bc this boy didn’t rly have a team before so ;; i’m happy for him

My unpopular opinion about this character: is liking him an unpopular opinion i got my Two Cents i wanna throw in about furuya Discourse ™ but i’m shy about it but basically i just think he gets way more hate than he deserves idk i’m adhgjahglahalg

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: I WISH HE’D GOTTEN A MENTOR LIKE EI HAD CHRIS Y'ALL DON’T EVEN K N O W like… i guess you could say miyuki low key reached out to him as a “senpai” but let’s be real fam… miyuki is not a Senpai ™ kinda guy, so

Favorite friendship for this character: i know they don’t interact that much but i really want him and nori to be good good friends… both shy beans. ichinen squad is also Good
