Treating myself to a warm soak in a natural geothermal pool to relax my body. It’s one of the ways I treat myself on this expedition. I like to find the off the beaten path public ones where locals go instead of paying for the touristy spa. Sometimes I opt for that if it’s affordable and my body needs it, but I’d rather ride 6 hours in the cold to go to a public one. True story. Transforming into a swimsuit is so funny to me. I literally shed 10lbs of gear: helmet, gloves, jacket, pants and boots. It feels like what a turtle would feel like if you took of its protective layer of a shell. Lol.
