he'd see it from a message popping up on your phone when you're away, maybe showering or just out of the room for whichever reason. and he swears he doesn't want to snoop around, but he's never seen the tumblr app on your phone before.

so when he looks at your phone a little longer in confusion, face id automatically unlocks it and the notification includes not only the words "user xy liked your post" but also his name, he pulls his eyebrows together a little tighter.

checking the door to make sure you're not coming back yet, he quickly taps on the notification. the initial discovery has him confused at first, not fully making sense to him, but once he scrolls through your blog and sees that it's basically just you simping, he'd probably go through as many posts as he can manage before you come back. trying to hide his smug grin, he tosses the phone back to where he remembers you leaving it and tries his best to act normal (but failing miserably). when you look at him in confusion, asking a half-shy "what?", he just goes "nothing, nothing," although his face tells the complete opposite.

if he saw you reblogging a short soft thought or something, bonus points if it's something he's never done before, he'd copy the action just to see your cheeks flush. and when you ask him what he's doing, he just replies "i thought that's what you wanted? 'when will this be me'? rings a bell?"

you open your mouth but before you can reply, he chuckles softly and beats you to it, "why read stuff online when you have the original? you know, if you wanted something, all you had to do was ask."
