I started watching oshi no ko yesterday and the plot and writing are actually really good, the animation quality is good, the music is good etc. etc. ..... but the artstyle. i hate it so much its just. not easy on the eyes. the character designs are not great. and i feel like this happens alot... ill start watching an anime and think. “well this is ugly.” and i keep watching and the story is so good. but it’s UGLY!................... and it just makes me kinda sad.

#bs #and sometimes the opposite happens where an anime will have a very lovely artstyle but. plot sucks......waah #i have a hard time articulating what i dont like about the artstyle i have to think about it more #i think it's just.. too much. everyone is too shiny. but also too little somehow.#and the babies looked gross LOL. like those were not babies.#but ive never really seen a good looking baby character in an anime so ill let that go #also i was almost gonna say that i hate blonde anime characters and it looks bad. but thats so untrue LOL.. dungeon meshi. vinland saga.#off the top of my head. but something about the twins is visually yucky to me.#anyway other than that its interesting
