Historically maybe not, but I can tell you I've seen Marvel do it with at least 4 titles since I started following current comics during the pandemic.

While attempting to track down the issue number of a particular Star Wars comic I discovered that there have apparently been four completely different serialised publications all named Star Wars Adventures, all of which have an issue #3, and it isn't even a Canon-versus-Legends thing because two of those four fall into the Canon continuity. Disney, what the fuck?
