𝐒𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐄𝐐𝐔𝐈𝐍𝐎𝐗 𝐌𝐀𝐒𝐊𝐄𝐃 𝐁𝐀𝐋𝐋 . . . the mystical force that has kept all the inhabitants of gaea remains steadfast, showing no signs of waning. however, as days have turned into an entire week, and there still no answers to be found despite all the scholars in the capital working endlessly to uncover ways to combat this unknown entity, the guests in the palace have become restless. they were allowed to venture to the rest of the capital, but such sights certainly do loose their appeal when everyone realizes they do not know how long this mystical force intends to hold everyone in the capital.

spring was now in full motion, the floras and faunas in full bloom, and the time of the spring equinox was upon gaea as well as the spring court. in an effort to ease tensions, to lift spirits, and allow the spring court faes to celebrate their spring festivities without interruptions, the royal family have arranged the spring squinox celebration in the form of a masked ball . the royal family hope this was will serve as a way for their guests to forget the ordeal surrounding them for the time of the celebrations, to enjoy the coming of spring, and have some form of entertainment.

this masked ball will be held outside in the royal gardens, the expansive land of the gardens were entirely decorated to resemble a spring wonderland, canopies and gazebos were added for seating, refreshments and food in an never-ending supply, and fairy lights were hung to illuminate the space for when the sun set on the horizon. gaea's best musicians were present once more, as well as entertainers. the gardens looked like something out of a fairytale, the royals sparing no detail to transform the garden to resemble the ballroom. the royal family has made masks a requirement, and the attire must contain themes of spring

𝐔𝐏𝐎𝐍 𝐁𝐄𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐓𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐏𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐄𝐃 𝐓𝐎 the dusk court, the seven courts of prythian, as well as the capital have been endlessly searching for answers. many still calling out to the mother but there is total silence on the deity they worship, leading the inhabitants of prythian to believe she might be truly be gone. the young king continues his efforts to keep his courts and his people together, urging the high rulers to work with one another until they have answers or a means of escape. the danger that the courts fear does not make itself known to their surprise, the entity that was revealed to be the dark mother no longer tormenting them, but instead disappeared once she teleported all of prythian to the dusk court. the fae navigate this mysterious court with caution, while the high ruler of the dusk court hopes to build an amiable relation with the rest of prythian. in an effort to welcome their guests to the dusk court, and to ease tensions, and allow both sides to mingle and know one another, they have arranged a halloween celebration that ties into their yearly tradition of a lantern festival. a long standing tradition that consisted of donning costumes, lighting bonfires, dancing, followed by a grand feast. guests are to don costumes of any fable creatures they favored, and when the sun set and they all arrived to expansive gardens of the palace, they find an array of booths that contain all kinds of treats and foods, vendors selling their creations, some offering services such as reading tarot cards of fates, and a plethora of activities. upon entering, guests are asked to light a candle and placed along with the many others to commence the evening celebrations. they find their surroundings decorated with the festivities, jack-o-lanterns placed at every corner, dim fairy lights offering just enough to watch one's footsteps, and then greenery draped in what appeared to mimic feather-like cobwebs. the beginning of the evening would be dedicated to allowing the attendees to participate in all they desired, a few hours into the celebration a bon fire would lit initiating another tradition of dancing around the bonfire. a few hours prior to dawn, everyone will be asked light a lantern that would be released to the skies, which would then, finally, be followed by a grand feast to end the celebrations just as the sun rose across the horizon.

ooc: the event will last an entire night IC and OOC concluding on october 25. old existing threads can be continued, but any new threads from this point must be event-related. enjoy!

CORONATION BALL

following the death of the late king dev of prythian, the fae realm is thrust into a period of uncertainty, the loss of a ruler who had kept their continent in order for decades resonated throughout the faerie lands. now, a young king whom the realm believed would not live past his childhood years, by some miracle he does, and he's ready to claim his seat on the throne of prythian. it is said that the start of spring is rebirth, of a new beginning, a new time and what better time to coronate the new king of prythian then on the cusp of spring? the flora is beginning to flourish, as each day passes the harsh winter winds gradually transition to cool, dewy breezes across gaea. the queen mother has invited all the prythian fae to the capital a week prior to the occasion, accommodating them in the palace, ensuring that every fae in the realm was to bear witness the birth of a new era. a new era filled with uncertainty, perhaps, but the queen mother would not allow this tragic death to weaken their family legacy in the face of their subjects. this coronation was not only a celebration of her son, but a show of strength, a reminder to all of their courts that they were still the leaders of prythian.a coronation ball is held in honor of the young king, the guests were to arrive in the expansive ballroom at sun set, and as they enter through the double doors they will find everything has been set for their arrival. the attire of this ball will be spring colors, therefore, no dark colors and shades, including and not limited to black will be allowed. their attires should reflect the arrival of spring, such as pastels, and lighter shades. there will dancing and all forms of entertainment will take place for a couple of hours, followed by the coronation itself just before dawn breaks.

ooc: the event will last one week starting from 03/26 to 04/02, and all new threads must take place during the coronation ball. please tag all event starters as ofcourtfables:event01 and lastly, have fun! as a reminder, all muses must wear spring colors, no dark color articles of clothing allowed !
