true but to be fair i don't think danzou would've ever said that to sasuke to begin with. he knew how fucked up itachi was (shisui also), otherwise he wouldn't have used him. itachi had already been spying on the clan for konoha for some time, which sasuke never would've done to begin with, so i can't really see how that would've gone down at all unless they happened to freaky friday with each other right before danzou give the order

No offense to Itachi (jk full offense) but if Danzo had told Sasuke to kill his whole clan Sasuke would just have killed Danzo right there and ended the entire storyline prematurely.
