Although the threat of big ole grumpy gills was gone, it didn’t mean everything was safe. The storms caused by Dagon’s episode were something awful. Talk about a sigh-clone. Oof. The coastal cities were pretty shaken, and not just by the earthquakes, but there were some places there that held a lot of history. The humans weren’t willing to risk anyone to protect them, but Imani couldn’t just let them be destroyed. She was also too scared to go alone, after the last ruins she’d gotten stuck at. This would be her first time out on the field since then, and let’s just say the ground wasn’t the only thing that was shaken. She asked Seraphina to go with her, once she finished making sure the humans were safe of course. When they got there, Imani was cracking as many jokes as she could come up with to calm her nerves. “Do you know why sharks swim in salt water?” Imani asked as they walked down stairs that now led straight into the ocean.
