It had been a pretty relaxed morning so far on the Thousand Sunny. Luffy had gone to sleep at around the same time that people had started waking up, and frankly the captain was the cost of the most chaos on the ship most days. So Nami was keen to wake up at her usual time, have some orange wine and a fruit crepe that Sanji definitely went overboard with the toppings and whipped cream on but who was she to complain, while soaking in some of the morning sunlight, and taking in a good book.

Even with a new crew member, the Straw Hat crew was still prone to fall back into its comfortable routine. Still, chaos on the ship was always inevitable, and soon the ship’s familiar noises, the sway and splash of the ocean against her hull, the soft flap of the sail as it caught a different wind current, the bend of the wood planks beneath Nami’s seat as she adjusted her weight, were disrupted by an abrupt and cutting bout of shouting.

Sudden enough to startle the woman mid-sip of her drink, Nami jumped in her seat, jostling the drink that she’d had in-hand, causing no small amount of it to spill not only on her front, but some of it even getting into the pages of her book, giving another unsightly stain to the pages.

Blood vein pulsing on her otherwise beautiful forehead, the woman quickly hauled herself to her feet, and glared down towards the source of the disruption. Oh great, it seemed that Zoro, Brook, Usopp, and Diane had gotten into some kind of scene. Of course there being a little bit of grating against one another when sharing such a new and tight space was to be expected, but still; Nami wasn’t the type to just allow them to run around without any sort of oversight.

“HEY!! IDIOTS!!! SHUT THE HELL UP BEFORE I THROW ALL FOUR OF YOU OVERBOARD!!!!”

Surprised, Thor catches her before she falls. "Always good to see you, Diana," he chuckled before hugging her. Then, seriously, he asked: "you aren't here because I killed your dad, right?"

       Perhaps lying to the Queen of Truth wasn’t the smartest idea. Though, it took her a few minutes to figure out the boy was still sick with a fever, when he stumbled and coughed uncontrollably during their practice. Bashful, and quite honestly embarrassed, he did has he was told by Diana and by Alfred, whom were sternly chewing him out of lying. Alfred took his temperature, complaining the entire time, as Tim nervously glanced over to Diana from time-to-time. He wondered if Amazonians ever got sick, and if the gods had some secret way of dealing with it with their godly powers? Wow, he really needed to rest after that dumb question.

          Once Alfred left his side, preparing tea by the break area in the Batcave, he cleared his throat, which only made him cough again. He shivered, covering his body with his cape, rocking slightly back and forth. Damn flu! 

            ❝ Um--! ❞ He started, before he coughed into his cough, then massaged his throat with a cape draped hand.  ❝ I’m sorry... I should have been honest about my condition. I got all the eyes on me, so the last thing I want to do is let anyone down. I--.... ❞ he hid his face a bit, looking away.  ❝ I don’t want to let HIM down, in particular. Dick and Jason-- they were prepared to be heroes, one way or another, but me? I’m a joke compared to them. That’s why I train even when I’m sick. I just want to make a difference... ❞ He paused to shiver, before glancing back to Diana.  ❝ Don’t tell him I told you this. I’m sure he’ll keep me from being Robin ever again. ❞

Maybe that’s why it’s so easy for him to take his time and explore her curves, admiring how anyone could have such a soft and yielding and still so powerful figure all at once.

👫🏾 Diana and Goku (even though I suck and they haven't totally interacted a lot)

In such interactions I’m imagining Goku and DC heroes met during the time skip between King Piccolo and the World Tournament arcs.

While Goku’s battle-happy nature probably made Diana initially sour to him, it probably wouldn’t take long for her to realize that it’s not a love of violence, but more about self improvement in Goku’s case. At which point, it definitely becomes a playful rivalry.

His naïve nature parrots Diana’s when she initially came to the World of Man, and low-key they bond over it when Goku gets confused by some modern innovation or trend that he hasn’t caught up on (due either to training, his rural lifestyle, or being dead).

They’re both dummy thiccc and thiccc dummies.

When they try to teach each other their respective things (chi control from Goku and weapons from Diana) there’s a lot of struggling and Goku almost lopping his arm off from trying to use a sword like a staff.
