Can I say smth controversial. I think I’ve said it before. But I wish MCR had just stayed in the past. The fanbase that has come from the reunion is .. so… AGH
#also like ofc I love emo and nostalgia these are things everyone knows abt me#but when u make ur whole personality that you USED to be emo?? that’s embarrassing#and like. still make fun of new emo / gen alpha / z. the same way the older people in ur life made fun of u#and then also do the whole ‘what the new kids are listening to isn’t real emo u have to listen to these bands that I like or ur a poser’#like ok go off it’s embarrassing how scared u are of new music and of change and of things evolving and esp#of kids having fun and engaging in subcultures to find themselves RHE SAME WAY U DI#DID#AND U GOT RIDUCULED FOR IT SO UR GONNA TURN AROUND AND DO THE SAME#I’m ngl I’ve been guilty of this in the past I think we all have a gatekeeper devil on our shoulder but U HAVE TO SHUT HIM UP#u will be happier for it and u will see the world in such. a beautiful way when u stop#acting like changes in subcultures u like are a personal attack on ur#nostalgia#ESP WHEN U ARENT EVEN PARTICIPATING ANYMORE U JUST GO ONLINE#AND TALK ABT MCR#Jesus
