#of how fat and muscles are both different levels of squishy

Learning anatomy for art makes it so wild to see the trends online where people make shit up to feel insecure about.
Like, I try to practice drawing that body part just right, and then I see someone shaped like all the diagrams I'm memorizing, and they're making up a name for it and deciding it's something to feel bad about.
That's just how those muscles are shaped.
That's just your bones.
That's just where bodies store fat. That's just how fat acts with gravity. And that's how it is with something pressing on it.
You're exactly what I want my art to look like what are you talking about.
#riki babbles#reminds me of when a couple of kids I was babysitting#found out that their thighs look thicker when they sit down#and they panicked about it#and I had to draw them sketches#of how fat and muscles are both different levels of squishy#and yes they will spread out when you sit#and that's normal

Okay so why is barely anyone talking about the absolutely off the charts level of amazing body type diversity in this movie?
Like, yeah every main character has their own distinct shape (as should be the case for designs of animated characters anyway) but all of the background cast, too. There is no copy pasting of bodies there, there is no defaulting to a couple different shapes, there is so many fat characters all with entirely different bodies. There is so many skinny characters all with different bodies. They understood that two ppl of the same height and same weight can have vastly different bodies based on weight distribution, bone structure, muscle to fat ratio and so on, and they showed they understand this. And as a result all the recurring background characters are distinct.
Bear with me bc I'm gonna gush about Tyler again, as I am contractually obligated to do in every one of my TR posts, but.
It's a little hard to see if you're not familiar with that kinda body type he has, because he wears multple layers of clothes, including a long shirt that covers his butt, so it's easy to not take notice of how unconventional his design is. But not only is he clearly squishy, despite being in the range of vissibly skinny to most ppl (which is something that is already really fucking rare for character designers to go for) but on top of that, he is also naturally curvy as fuck and has big hips and a pronounced butt. And that is a body type a lot of boys and men have, but do you know how many examples of male animated characters I can come up with of the top of my head who have that kind of body type?
3. Including him. The other two are Miguel from Coco and Takato ftom Digimon Tamers.
I can not put into words how good it feels to see a character who looks the way I used to look when I was thirteen. A body type that most designers pretent doesn't exist. That most ppl will not differentiate from basic skinny boy but that a lot of boys feel so self concious about that they will hide it to pass as generically skinny. Dressing for example the way Tyler doed in the movie.
And I figure it's not just him. I am less personally attatched but I can't come up with a lot of characters from anything that look like Mei either. Or like Miriam. I have seen plenty of young teenagers who look like her but her entire vibe and design consists of traits that i feel are usually restricted to older teen characters.
And that's another thing. These kids are thirteen to fourteen. All of them will be at vastly different levels of development and the movie shows it. It shows all the messed up invetweens of puberty, at the absolute height of awkward and mismatched childlike and adultlike traits. You have characters who look like children, you have characters who would probably pasd as adults by the time they're fifteen and you have so much beautiful awkward transitionary phases.
There is a thing happening where visual media tends to pretent puberty doesn't exist. You have child actors for prebubescent roles and almost all teenage rolls are played by either older teens or adults. The amount of media depicting young teen characters by actual young teen actors peaked in autum 2017 when both IT and Stranger Things did it at roughly the same time and since then has kind of gone back down.
This creates an illusion where we kind of stop seeing kids that age in how we percieve age. We kind of just get used to prepubescent children smoothly transitioning into what may as wrll be smaller and more oyuthful adults. And it fucks up our perception of age on a significant level. Look at the discourse about Call Me By Your Name where people called Elio "visibly a teenager" and Oscar "visibly an adult" when their actors were in their 20s and 30s respectively.
This has consequences and they go beyond the awkward charm of Breakfast Club casting.
Imagine what this does to pubescent teenagers. To see themselves erased from representation because that stage of development is too awkward for TV. Think about what that does to someones mental health.
So yeah, ppl should talk more about the body type diversity in this movie.

Hey sovo, can you show how to draw male bodies? Like Atton and Ford have two different types and you drew them both so well. Including the arms?
yeah sure!
i can only show my simplified shorthand though ^^’’ as i understand it, there are two ways of drawing:
understanding the 3D shapes of what you want to draw, and projecting that into 2D
memorizing the 2D projection of what you want to draw, and repeating those lines whenever you want to draw it
i'm slowly starting to filter in and practice the first method, but i still mainly use the second method, so what i have to show is a couple of 2D projections i’ve memorized. these should definitely be checked against references!! and fleshed out with an understanding of the original 3D shapes
here’s one of my simplest go-to’s: the 3/4 angle, so classic. left is how i draw atton, and right is how i’d draw a slightly more more muscular version of his build. all i’ve really varied is the stomach, biceps, neck, and legs
for ford and stan, since i still draw them with broad shoulders and relatively trim bodies, they’re not too far off either:
going from this to something more detailed takes a few more lines:
when getting into more detail, i feel like defining/developing landmarks to use when drawing is the most important part. the most helpful tutorials i’ve seen on drawing bodies point landmarks out--some are common (elbow approx. level with navel, wrist approx. level with crotch, mapping out proportions of the body by using head lengths, etc) but others vary artist by artist, and you could also just come up with your own.
since bodies vary so widely, and since these landmarks can’t accurately describe the body to begin with, i try not to use them too strictly and mainly use them as guidelines.
here’s a more detailed 2D projection with a couple handy landmarks:
when i’m not sure how/where to position something, or if something i drew just feels off, i’ll try running through my mental library of landmarks for guidance.
to draw different body types, all i do is vary three things:
if i really want to use my brain, sometimes i’ll try to remember that the body is a skeleton covered in comparatively squishy muscle and fat:
the bottom of the rib cage (in pinkish red) helps me orient myself when using reference pics or just drawing from memory. i think of the stomach/abs as like a thick, elastic cord stretched between two solid objects, the rib cage and the hips.
you’ll notice that i’ve basically only shown the front view and the 3/4 view... this is because i haven’t studied backs very much yet.
and leading off of that, when it comes to arms, this is really all i’ve memorized ^^’’ i haven’t memorized how the muscles in the arms move when the arm bends/twists/whatever, so for the actual muscular structure, consult a reference!
#sovo answers#bottom line: use references!!!!!!!! pleaseeeee use references#i hope this is of some use though!

How do you draw chubby characters, if I can ask? I've only really been able to draw one type of body and I want to expand that! And your art is so lovely I wanted to ask you. If this ask makes your uncomfortable, you dont need to answer!
Oh stars, I dunno if I’m any sort of high tier speaker on this, but I can give a few tips?
First, it’s really common for most artists to start with only being able to draw a fairly lean or lean-adjacent stock body; it’s rad that you’re looking to work on that, and I’m delighted and cheering you on, right there with you! Also, super flustered and grateful that you’d say as much.
There are a few main things you’ll want to do to draw a better variety of body types:
Look at different body types! Actively seek ‘em out!
This sounds almost offensively obvious, but I really mean look.
Study, follow online - make observation part of your regular routine!
Are you on Instagram? Make a concerted effort to follow creators who have different body types. There are a lot of fat-positive bloggers & creators out there to vibe with! Same applies to Twitter, Youtube, etc - whatever your social media consumption, mix it up and make an active effort to diversify.
And if you’re not the type to regularly consume online real-person-visual-here content, that’s okay! Bookmark a few you like the vibe of, at least, and start checking on them more often - draw a couple random studies as you do so. Not anything you intend to post, but just - to help you get the feel of what that body feels like in it’s core lines, navigation of space, and so on!
Example of the kind of rough sketches I mean-
First one’s an exploration based on me feeling my own body, second’s referenced from online media, third’s a cross between them, and so on. These were all purposefully on the stylized end, and I focused on the feel of the body most of all.
(...Please note that I’m very sapphic and favor drawing ladies, but this applies to dudes and body types of all genders! I’m working on my dude game atm too, but it’s a WIP for sure, heh. We all gotta start somewhere, and that somewhere for us artists is... our eyeballs!)
((I imagine it goes without saying to study anatomy, from bones to muscles to of course fat itself, but here’s saying that in acknowledgement, anyways. It helps no matter how tedious it may feel to hear the advice ad nauseum XD ))
Follow and study artists that draw different types of bodies!
Maya Kern and Jijidraws (on Twitter) both pop to mind immediately, but there are so many more! I’m an artist that likes stylization, so though I work hard to get irl reference, part of being an artist is dissecting what other artists do to learn and grow on your own.
For example - on chubby/fat bodies, note how the neck & and jawline connect in a gentle slope or rolls! Note how boobs rest on tummy fat with a cat-like mouth (think the w in uwu) rather than a defined round-then-flat ‘skinny’ look. Notice how arm fat falls softly, but there’s still a little elbow definition - and often elbow ‘dimples’! Notice the way leg fat falls, moves, shifts solidly but softly against itself when kneeling... and so on!
Different artists have different ways of boiling these traits down - study ‘em and figure out what’s the core essentials, what works for your level of stylization, and keep applying those things until you get your own flare and can do it naturally.
Feel how your own body feels, and read accounts from others if possible!
No, really. Even if you’re not chubby or fat yourself - feel how your body distributes it’s mass as you bend, twist, hunch, crouch, curl. You’d be surprised how much translates - our squishy bits have to go somewhere, so figure out where that is on yourself! Both by touch/feel, and in the mirror/using the camera on your phone, if possible :)
Biased bit here, but- watch good animation with different body types!
I really like the Ghibli-type approach of stylization where you don’t just draw what you see, but you draw how the thing feels. From tears to laughter, to sleeping, to stomping in frustration, to running! That applies to literally all parts of the body.
Even if you’re not an animator, you can learn and grow so much from studying how animators move different types of bodies (and personalities) through space. Try to figure out why and how, and translate that into your own art! It’ll benefit both in helping variety in your character designs, and in portraying how they carry themselves, regardless of their shape.
====
These are just a few tips, but they’re the core of it. When in doubt, observe! But don’t think that just means still-life, fancy nude studies - though those are important and helpful too - basically, be mindful of the choices you’re making.
Use reference for everything, until it’s freakin’ second nature - and even then, use reference! And observe other artists work just as much as real life - every act of creation is in fact an act of remixing, and that’s okay - heck, that’s the beautiful, wonderful thing about creating. We’re all building off one another, and ideally, pulling one another up with each other as we go :)
Godspeed, and happy chubby drawing!! :D
#night answers#drawing tips from night#man i feel you#it's so easy to get in a body rut#personally my chubby/fat drawing's also benefitted from working on my own body positivity#bc that subconscious fuckery sure does sneak in while drawing#but hey it's all a process!!#love urself love fat bodies love ur art#love it all and trust in the process#mindful practice best practice#that's what i think a lotta basic art instruction neglects to really drive home#all the body studies in the world won't help if you don't think about *why* you're making the choices you're making#why the body 'boils down' to these key lines#and so on!#it's tricky but it's really truly doable#also think about volume over outline#if that makes sense - don't think about outlining the body#but the lines as... defining the underlying volume#start basic#then work your way up with details!#Anonymous#honestly i just love ladies of all shapes so i think of it as a treat and a relaxing exercise to get to study bodies these days#i gotta do it more often myself but try to celebrate your success rather than beat urself up for your mistakes#carrot not stick when it comes to practice habits

Hugs
Detroit: Become Family event ( @dbh-found-family ) Week five: Hugs (Week one: Home; Week two: Safety; Week three: Numbness; Week four: Future)
→ on Ao3
Humans are soft; humans are skin stretched over fat and muscle, with a certain give to them. Androids are solid, they do not have a certain give to them; androids are dermal nano liquid spread over a carbon fibre-reinforced polymer base. There is no softness, no cushioning between the layer of simulated skin and hard plastic casing.
Dermal nano liquid uses nanoparticles in a silicone suspension that change property when electrical currents are run through them at different voltages; the higher or lower the voltage, the harder or softer the nanoparticles bind, allowing the different textures of their skin and hair to be achieved. It bypasses both the need for a permanent solid synthetic coating, creating a better illusion of skin, and the expensive, wasteful need for wigs.
The branch of domestic models programmed to care for children have a thicker dermal nano liquid to simulate a little give to them, so when children embrace them they don’t feel so uncomfortable to hold. Connor is not a domestic model, he was certainly not crafted to be held. He wishes he were, though.
On that cold morning, hours after they won their freedom, Connor had approached Hank at the Chicken Feed. There were far too many things racing through his head as he tried to process it all, but the one thing he remembers so clearly was how soft Hank was when he mimicked his embrace.
Connor had never been held before, had never known what it was to wrap his arms around someone else and squeeze gently as a sign of affection. Hank had cupped his nape and guided him to rest his cheek on his shoulder as he slid an arm around him and Connor knew the definition of ‘embrace’ but it was an altogether entirely different matter to experience it.
Everything he did had been but a mirror to Hank’s actions, everything from the brief, hesitant smile to the tight lingering hug. It was a whole slew of firsts, one after the other, starting from his moment of deviation when he lowered the gun pointed at Markus RK200 all the way to wrapping his arms around Hank and applying the same gentle pressure Hank applied to him.
“Let’s go home, son.” He’d said, and Connor can replay that memory with perfect clarity- an unrivaled advantage of being an android. After that first embrace, Hank has embraced him a further three times: once when Connor legally became Connor Anderson after the passing of the Sentient Life Act, again when he legally became Detective Connor Anderson with the DPD, and then on Christmas Day after exchanging gifts. Connor has come to the conclusion he quite likes hugs; they are a tangible expression of empathy.
Aside from Hank, Connor has received hugs from other androids too. He has received an embrace from each of the Jericho Four at different times for different reasons. Markus Manfred likes to greet him with hugs, treating him like a half-brother since they are both RK units. Simon PL600 offers hugs out of comfort, soothing Connor when he brings news of a difficult case. Josh PL500 has hugged him twice now, both times to reassure him he is not to be held accountable for all his actions before his deviation when Connor aided Josh with the memorial for their fallen. North WR400 has hugged him only once, and it had been more of a leap from behind that turned into him giving her a piggyback across the main thoroughfare on his first visit to Jericho.
It does not come easily to him, though. Connor has never instigated a hug, hasn’t the slightest clue when it would be appropriate to initiate one and how he would even go about signaling his intent.
He wishes it came naturally to him, wishes it were programmed into him so he can offer hugs as freely as the Jericho Four offer hugs to him. He wishes his social programming covered interacting with children rather than just adults, because there have been many a lost child dropped off at the precinct with high stress levels that could, he hazards a guess, be quite receptive to hugs.
Humans need to be held; it is a scientific fact that humans thrive on touch. Connor is the most advanced prototype ever made, and deviant or not he still strives to learn and adapt to his situation and surroundings. Therefore he must practice initiating hugs with the one human in his personal life; Lieutenant Hank Anderson.
“Hank.” It’s a cold January morning and that adds another layer, another possible excuse, to Connor’s request. “May I give you a hug?”
His father looks across the breakfast counter at him, coffee mug in hand, brow cocked. There’s an uncomfortable stretch of silence and Connor feels his stress level rise.
“I should state that you should not feel pressured to give consent just because you are a family member.” Connor says hastily, deciding to just abort the mission altogether. “I am merely asking bec-”
“C’mere kid.” Hank huffs a laugh, putting his mug down and holding out his arms, making a beckoning gesture with his hands. Connor rounds the counter and slots himself into his embrace, squeezing gently.
“I saw you hug Samuel Barlett yesterday to comfort him and lower his stress levels. He was quite distressed while waiting for his parents to pick him up from the precinct.” He explains, voice a little muffled in Hank’s shoulder.
“You’re jealous a five year old got a hug from your dad and you didn’t?” Hank laughs as he pulls away, hands on Connor’s shoulders. “Is that it?”
“No.” He shakes his head. “Well, you’re correct that I felt jealous but more because you know how to embrace people to comfort them and I do not.”
“...So what am I? Hugging practice?” Hank cocks a brow again, expression bemused.
“My friends are other androids and I do not feel comfortable enough asking this of my colleagues as I am not as close with them as I am with my friends.” He explains matter of factly. “Humans are soft, androids are not. I do not want to accidentally harm a human when embracing them by applying too much pressure.”
Hank’s quiet for a moment before he laughs, shaking his head. “Alright alright I’ll be your hugging practice human.” Connor pauses for a moment before leaning in and wrapping his arms around him again. He’ll never tire of it, he discovers.
*~*~*
Hank can’t remember the last time he was held. Well, the last time since Cole’s funeral that is. He’s always been the hugger because he’s big and has a knack for making people feel safe. Cole received countless hugs and he’d give him countless more if only life had been kinder to them both. Sometimes lost kids at the precinct need a comforting cuddle or two, and he’s held the newborns of his colleagues, even bounced them to settle them and rocked them to sleep when their young parent was run off their feet with a case.
It’s different when it’s not a kid though, it means putting some polite distance between him and the other person. It’s reduced to a squeeze of a hand, a shoulder, a comforting pat on the back. It’s hard when they clearly need a hug but it’s not his place to offer one.
Is it any wonder he hasn’t been on the receiving end of an embrace in so long, not when he was pouring his career down the drain as he poured alcohol down his throat. It’s what he deserves, but at least there’s still Sumo at home. Poor dog deserves better though.
Everything changes when he’s dragged kicking and screaming into a front row seat to the android revolution. At first the only feeling coursing through his veins is pure hatred that some clever pricks programmed an android to play pretend detective. It even buys him one for the road and the amusement wins over the anger, but only just.
And then it’s not like that at all, it becomes a rollercoaster ride of emotions and he’s forced to check his prejudices at the door when the Android Sent By CyberLife behaves more like a human than some humans he’s had the displeasure of meeting. Connor is alive, Connor is brave and confused and torn between doing what he’s been ordered to, and deciding for himself. Hank realises he’s on the wrong side of history, and that needs to change.
Connor remembers Cole. It’s what saves him from his doppelganger, and what saves Hank in a roundabout way. It’s what leads to him waiting outside the Chicken Feed at fuck-off o’clock in the morning when hell’s frozen over and he can’t feel his fingers. It’s what leads him to pulling that wonderfully alive young man into his arms and squeezing him close and feeling him tremble, feeling him fall apart as if the weight of the revolution has finally caught up.
Connor-the-Android-Sent-By-CyberLife becomes ‘just’ Connor, RK800 Assistive Unit, to Connor Anderson, to Detective Connor Anderson. Hank loves him, this bright young man with an equally bright future ahead of him and enough sarcasm and wit to give Hank a headache trying to keep up. His house feels like a home at last and less like a tomb.
There’s something to be said, probably a lot of scientific journals and think-pieces and dissertations, about how the average American White Male is touch-starved as a result of toxic masculinity and homophobia. Hank can’t remember the last time he was held after Cole’s funeral but that changes after Connor decides he actually likes hugging and would like to hug people more. And that means practicing on Hank because Hank is, well, squishy in a way androids aren’t. And no he’s not about to admit aloud how it nearly shatters him when Connor wraps his arms around him at breakfast, that very first time he asks if it’s alright to do so.
After that, with permission permanently granted, Connor starts to hug him in greeting and in parting, pairing it with good mornings and hellos and be safes and see you laters. At first he doesn’t apply more than gentle pressure, probably too scared to hurt Hank with his inhuman strength, but what he does do, always, is mush his cheek on Hank’s shoulder the way Hank had guided him to do that fateful morning after the revolution.
It takes a lot of practice, mainly because Hank nitpicks his technique a lot, before he says Connor’s finally got the hang of it. Only on pain of death would he ever admit it’s really just because he hadn’t been held in so long and assumed he’d never be held ever again.
Life can change in the blink of an eye, in a moment, an hour, a day, a week, a month. It has a predictably unpredictable way of keeping people on their toes and Hank goes from trying to come to terms with his late fatherhood, and then with his grief, and then with an android revolution, and then with his new family with his new android son- and then it’s one freezing February morning and he’s rescuing the brother of his android son, and then he has two sons.
Two androids take on the Anderson surname. Hank thinks he’s really seen it all in his fifty-five years on this godforsaken earth, having survived 2020, but apparently not. ‘Rescuing the younger brother of your new android son from an illegal android cage fighting ring’ somehow tops ‘adopting an android as your son’ and it’s only been three months.
Ronan is far more skittish than his older brother despite being built to be far more powerful. The boy could probably crush a car with his bare hands, not that he wants to. He even turned down a job with the DPD, of working with his brother and father, in favour of becoming an android first responder and trauma surgeon for both humans and androids. He chooses to use hands built for violence, to save and nurture instead. He gets a big hug for that, Hank makes sure of it.
This also means Hank becomes the human dummy for yet another android, so that’s more practice and more tutoring to perfect the highly coveted technique. There’s a little less joking this time, and no sarcasm at all because the boy’s lived through enough abuse, enough humans spouting lies that he can’t discern between things said in jest and outright disdain. There’s something joyful though, something that fills him with parental pride, when the younger android learns to reach out without fear of physical reprimand and seek affection.
He calls them kiddo, boy, son, and they’re somehow both grown men and young boys at the same time. They can run circles around him, physically and mentally, but emotionally all deviants are more like newborn foals wobbling around. Life stole Cole away from far too soon and he never got to see Cole grow and graduate and find his feet in the world.
They’re not replacements for Cole, not by any means, but he’s always wanted to be a father, to raise children to be good and kind. In a way he’s been given a second chance- two of them, actually.
*~*~*
The RK units do not need as much time to recharge as others, though Connor finds sleep is a fine indulgence. He rises from sleep mode at 5am because it’s nice to watch the sunrise from the living room. He expects to see Sumo rouse a little, grouse a little, before rolling over to sleep again. What he doesn’t expect to see is his father sitting at the kitchen table.
There’s a small photo frame in his hands and Connor realises today is the 23rd of September; Cole Anderson’s birthday. Today would have been his tenth birthday. Connor lingers in the doorway, taking note of Hank’s hunched posture, the faraway look in his eyes, and the slow, tender way he’s rubbing his thumb over Cole’s face.
He steps forward, keeping his steps heavy so as to alert the human of his presence before he slowly wraps his arms around his father from behind, resting his chin on the crook of his shoulder. Reaching out, he gently touches his fingers to the smudged glass as if tousling Cole’s hair.
“Happy birthday, Cole.” He keeps his voice soft and gentle. “You’ll be pleased to know dad actually got a haircut on time last Thursday. The mop is a thing of the past.”
Hank snorts, huffing a not-quite laugh as he elbows Connor. “You little shit.”
There’s movement behind them; Ronan getting ready to leave because today he’s rostered to work at Detroit Metro instead of Jericho and he’ll need time to travel. The younger RK brother joins them at the table, leaning down to embrace both his brother and father. He doesn’t use his voice often, but he knows it’s important to use it in times like these.
“Happy birthday Cole. Rest easy, we’ll take care of dad today.”

How to Lose the Killer Fat Around Your Tummy
When you are diagnosed with diabetes, the first bit of advice you get from your doctor is: lose weight. Fact is... most diabetics carry too much belly fat.
You have two kinds of fat around your waist... subcutaneous fat and visceral fat. Subcutaneous fat is fat that is located under the skin. It is visible fat and is usually soft and squishy, the reason it is often referred to as 'love handles' when it is around your waist. If you are not overweight and lead an active life, this kind of fat is not dangerous even if your tummy protrudes a little bit. It only becomes a problem if you become seriously overweight. Visceral fat is different. It is not so visible. This is because it is 'deep fat', ie lies within the abdominal wall where it surrounds organs and releases hormones (which is why it is also called 'active' fat). Too much of this fat can result in the release of excessive amounts of hormones... this causes inflammation, which puts you at risk of a variety of health problems. In contrast to subcutaneous fat, visceral fat can make the stomach feel hard. Though it is not visible, as it grows visceral fat causes your tummy to expand. A hard, protruding stomach signals danger.
Why is visceral fat bad?
Many chronic health conditions are caused and/or made worse by this type of fat. These include heart disease, diabetes, some types of cancer, and back pain.
Heart disease... visceral fat cells release cytokines, chemical messengers that affect the actions of other cells such as, for example, those that control blood pressure, cholesterol and the regulation of insulin. As cytokines affect how organs function, having them floating around in your body is not a good thing. Elevated blood pressure and high cholesterol levels contribute to heart disease. Visceral fat tends to affect men and women at different stages in their lives. Young women tend to gain subcutaneous fat on their hips and thighs while young men usually add visceral fat to their bellies. Thus men in their 30's are more likely to experience heart disease than women. Woman are more at risk of visceral fat later when they reach menopause. Diabetes... persons who are overweight or obese are actually 90 times more likely to develop diabetes because belly fat affects how your organs work. Studies indicate that people with deep belly fat lose their sensitivity to insulin, the hormone that regulates our blood glucose levels. If you have diabetes or are diabetic, you need to lose weight and reduce your visceral fat so that your blood sugar levels are normalized. Cancers... cancer is caused by mutations in our cells. When we have excess visceral fat it signals our bodies to produce hormones that cause our cells to divide and multiply. The more often our cells divide, the greater the chances that one of them will mutate into a cancerous cell. Thus more fat means more opportunities for cancer to develop. Indeed, the WHO states that up to one-third of all cancers of the colon, kidney and digestive tract are linked to being overweight. Back strain and pain... your core, ie your abdomen or center of your body, needs to be strong if you are to have good balance and healthy joints, and protect yourself from injury. Having too much belly fat usually means that your abdominal muscles are weak due to the visceral fat surrounding your vital organs. When these core muscles are weak you back muscles have to take up the slack. As a result you are likely to strain you back and experience chronic backache.
What causes visceral fat?
There are plenty reasons why you put on fat around your waist... eating too much... growing older... family traits... alcohol... stress.
Excessive eating... when we ingest more calories than we use up in our daily activities, our bodies store the extra calories as fat. We all need to eat less. Growing older... as we age we start to lose muscle mass and gain fat. This is normal but it means that if we don't learn to eat less we will put on weight, ie get fat. Family traits... our genetics and family history plays a role in the type of fat we gain. If your parents had excessive visceral fat, the likelihood is that you will also have too much unless you take steps to stay slim and trim. Alcohol... drinking to much intoxicating beverages (wine, beer or spirits) contributes to a build-up of 'beer belly' which is mainly visceral fat. But note that beer belly can be developed by drinking wine or spirits, not just beer. Stress... continuous high levels of stress, of the sort we experience in modern life, causes a build-up of cortisol, the stress hormone, in our systems. Over time, this hormone leads to increasing amounts of fat around our tummies. Who is most at risk of visceral fat?Any one at any age who overeats (ie, eats more than they burn off in various activities) will develop tummy fat. However it does tend to increase with age, especially among women. Those most at risk of developing excessive visceral fat are... white men... Afro-American women... Indian men and women from the subcontinent... people who drink sugary drinks... those who are already overweight or obese. The good news is that visceral belly fat responds very well to diet... and all belly fat can be reduced significantly through exercise. So, to trim down to a sleek tummy line, forget about pills, purgatories and herbal remedies, and ignore the miracle cures... you can get rid of belly fat naturally with nothing more than a healthy diet and plenty of exercise. Reduce belly fat through diet One of the best ways to reduce both kinds of belly fat... subcutaneous and visceral... is to create a calorie deficit, ie eat fewer calories than your body burns. All you need to be able to do is to make a rough calculation of the calories you eat each day and reduce that figure by at least 25%. It is not too hard to do, and it works. At the same time you need to follow the Beating Diabetes diet. Here it is: Eat natural foods that are low in sugar, low in fat, low in salt, and high in fiber, and have a low Hypoglycemic Index. Your diet should consist mostly of plants and lean protein. Wash your food down with plenty of water.
Following this diet is pretty easy. First get rid of sugary drinks and foods... no more sodas and no sugar in your tea and coffee, which have been linked in some studies to the development of visceral fat. You must also cut out cakes and sweets, indeed any food with added sugar. If you crave sugar, fight the craving... it can be done. Eating lean protein from legumes and lean meats can help you feel full and reduce your cravings. To reverse your diabetes and reduce visceral fat, you must eliminate as much fat as possible from your diet. You need to eliminate entirely trans-fats and saturated fats which are closely linked to the development of visceral fat. This means eating unprocessed foods, ie lean meats, avocados and other fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as beans and oatmeal which are full of soluble fiber. To reduce your intake of salt simply stop using the salt shaker and avoid all processed foods as these are packed with salt, both to preserve them and give them favor. In fact, processed foods also usually contain copious amounts of sugar and fat in order to enhance flavors. Foods that are high in fiber are wholemeal grains such as oatmeal, most vegetables and fruits. Getting plenty of fiber ensures smooth digestion (provided you drink plenty of water). Eating wholemeal grains means you are avoiding simple carbohydrates such as white bread, other refined grains and sugary foods which are low in nutritional value but high in calories. These foods are high on the hypoglycemic index which means they are digested rapidly which gives rise to spikes in blood glucose, the scourge of diabetics, and the rapid development of visceral fat. Wholemeal grains are digested slowly (ie, they have low GIs) and are much healthier.
Reduce belly fat with exercise Research has shown that exercise plays a significant role in eliminating belly fat. A study published in the Journal of Applied Physiology in October 2005 compared men who exercised with men who did not and discovered that exercise is crucial in reducing visceral fat. The researchers found that a modest exercise program prevents significant increases in visceral fat, while more vigorous exercise results in significant reductions in visceral, subcutaneous, and total abdominal fat without any changes in the intake of calories. However, undertaking exercises that target the stomach area, such as crunches and sit-ups, does not get rid of belly fat... even though they strengthen abdominal muscles.
There are several ways you can reduce tummy fat using exercises: Get moving... just increasing your level of physical activity will burn more calories. If you have a sedentary occupation, get up from your desk and move around every hour or so. Parking away from your destination so you have to walk the final few yards and walking up the stairs instead of taking the lift can burn more calories and reduce you tummy. Take up cardiovascular exercises... it gets the heart pumping and reduces visceral fat by burning up calories. But start slowly with walking or swimming before working up to running or skipping rope. High intensity interval training... in which you alternate intense exercise with slower activities, burns abdominal fat and is ideal if you are not ready for sustained high intensity exercising. Start slowly by (say) walking for 5 minutes and then running for 1 minute. Strength training... can help you lose weight because muscles burn more calories than fat. You need to practice regularly several days a week. As well as reducing belly fat, strength training can help you to control your diabetes and prevent other chronic illnesses such as osteoporosis. Takeaway Belly fat can give rise to serious health problems whether you are diabetic or not. But you can get rid of it easily enough with diet and exercise... Eat fewer calories than you burn Avoid sugary foods Avoid fat in your diet as far as possible Avoid added salt Avoid refined carbohydrates Avoid processed foods Eat lean protein Eat foods that are digested slowly Eat lots of soluble Fredrick alcohol sparingly Reduce your stress level Take up aerobic exercises (cardio)Paul D Kennedy is a type 2 diabetic. He used his skills as an international consultant and researcher to find a way to beat his diabetes using diet alone and, about eight years ago, he stopped taking medications to control his blood glucose levels. 21 DAYS TO A SLIMMER, SEXIER YOU! [Translation] 20200513 - anan (cover:Travis Japan)❶
***My English is not very good, so it maybe difficult to read. But I'll try my best!***
Travis Japan :
lithe body, strong tie.
Travis Japan is attracting attention because of their synchronized dance and the recent solo activities that each individuality stand out. What is like the relationship between the members that we can see through their mind about building up their bodies?
Kaito Miyachika
Honestly, I don't have any training now. Maybe I don't really like muscle training ... Therefore, I can fully understand the feelings of people who want to procrastinate. Let's believe that “If I do my best, I’m sure there is something happy!”, Set goals and work hard together. It should be easier to continue if you have specific goals. In my case, I want to be my ideal body and show off it at the sea (lol). I admire Mr. Kane Kosugi. And I like bodies of soccer players like Cristiano Ronaldo who have a toned body. In our members, it seems that Noel is close to it. I hear that he gets muscles without doing something special. A texture of my body is soft like paw pads or smoked tongue. All told, my motivation for training tends to waver, but my belief never waver. I stick to do what I think is good, and believe in myself when I lose my way. I don't know why I became such a character, but I feel that I’m living my own way in the present moment.
If I start training again, a body part I want to train most is my bottom. I want to perform with a firm bottom. Sometimes I listen to music while training, I think our song "VOLCANO" is perfect for training. It has a good tempo, and it seems that it will burn fat like its title, right? I recommend it.
Kaito Nakamura
I'm not strict with myself about training, but I went to a gym when I felt like it a little while ago. I want to make my legs skinnier. My inner thighs are pillowy while my outer thighs are squishy maybe because the way of walking is not properly. So while I toned up the muscles of inner thighs with squats, I also went to myofascial release to loosen up the muscles of outer thighs. It was so painful that I screamed. It was painful as quadruple what I expected. I cried (lol). But it was effective, and I felt that my height was slightly increased, my body became lighter, and my legs became skinnier. Like this, my body has both hard parts and soft parts, so if I compare it, I would say “Tonkotsu Ramen Kata(*Hard noodles of Tonkotsu Ramen)”. Those are like in that there is a little core left. It's just an idea (lol). I'm not aiming for a macho, and I don’t need much muscle. My ideal is a slender body. In our members, I think Noel has the best body. Its overall balance is good.
I train my body for myself. I want to be thought that my body is beautiful by my fans and also non-fans. Even though it might be self satisfaction, I want to be perfect condition. If my legs become skinnier than now, I will tone up my bottom and make it charming.
Therefore, even though you are about to give up on muscle training or diet, I want you to do your best with thinking that it will definitely benefit yourselves. You can keep on it when you set a clear goal like "I will be like that by when !".
Ryuya Shimekake
Currently, I mainly do core training. With the help of my trainer, I try to build muscle to the extent that I’m not too muscular. The core isn't visible, but training it can make a difference in performance. The skill of the dance stopping movements called "stop" improve and the singing voice stabilizes. I'm probably good at keeping on the same training. Even when I was in elementary school, I belonged to the baseball club and practiced swing all the time. Originally, I couldn't do something immediately after being taught, and I couldn't do it without practicing many times. About four or five years ago, before the dance lesson at Johnny's, we were always stretching for about an hour. It was hard for me because of my stiff body. I really didn't like it, so I started stretching every day after taking a bath. Then I could open my legs 180 degrees, and after the body became softer, I have been less likely to get hurt. I can keep on something because I know that it will benefit myself if I do it, I think.
For readers who are thinking of starting training, I think that you can continue if you have goals. For me, "I want to show my fans my good appearance" and so on. When this difficult current situation calms down, we want to cheer everyone up with our performance. Let’s do our best together now and I hope you will come to see me.
Genta Matsuda
The satisfaction level of my body is 2 out of 100. Recently, I have gained 4kg. I eat about 5 meals a day, and the major reason is that I graduated from the stage “Endless SHOCK”. So for the diet, I asked Mr.Koichi (Domoto) to make me cast in the stage again. He said, "You can appear" (lol). But I really reflect on being fat, and I started going to the gym to build up my body. I can't go there now because of this situation, but instead I'm training at home to train my inner muscles. I do push‐ups with my own weight and brush my teeth while riding a semi-circular balance ball. What I want to train is the chest muscle. I sometimes take off my costume and show off my body on stage, but I thought by watching the video, "I have no chest muscles than I thought." Noel's body, which is an inverted triangle like an ice cone, is enviable. I always think it's cool. The texture of my body is like firm tofu. It's elastic, but not stiff. I'm aiming for a more charming body like grapes!
About how to keep training, you should make some rules for yourself. I have rules like "I don't touch my phone until after training!" If the fans do muscle training and become their ideal body, I'll go for a real hug, not an air hug. So, do your best! (lol)

{Headcanon} Butcher Boys
I~ love Leatherface. I doubt that’s a surprise to anyone at this point, but what may be a surprise is--well actually I don’t have a good segue from that point to the point that I want to write about him, today. I’ve been obsessing over him again, so I wanted to talk about him because he doesn’t get talked about enough.
Anyone could likely guess that’s why I started paying attention to him in the first place. Boy stirs up my Mama Bear like nobody’s business for lots of reasons.
Now, I should mention I sort of split things up a bit differently than what is considered “canon” in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre universe--there’s actually two Leatherfaces: Bubba Sawyer, and Thomas Hewitt. In my head, when it’s just me and my embarrassing thoughts, I merge the two together because it’s easier, but in terms of roaming about the Haus, Bubba and Thomas are both here. Why, you ask?
Because twice is nice, and two adorable Leatherfaces are better than one, why are you asking me stupid questions.
I’m planning on doing dual headcanons so I can talk about the difference and similarity between the two boys, and really just allow me to gush about them because I need to. I’m going to be writing them with the ‘you’ perspective being a random member of the Haus wanting to read more about Leatherface; I’m not sure how Moni feels about the boys (they absolutely adore her already, but I told them they have to wait until I get the all-clear) so I won’t throw her onto their laps...
...yet...
L E A T H E R F A C E The Texas Butcher
First things first, we need to talk about the physical differences between Bubba Sawyer and Thomas Hewitt, because it’s one of the easiest ways to tell them apart, and that way you’ll know who I’m talking about when I refer to them by name for the rest of the headcanons.
And just, you know, because staring at them is nice. ♥
Bubba Sawyer
Bubba’s a big boi
He’s doughier than Thomas is
Round belly and thick thighs, this Texas Cinnamon Roll is A+ for cuddles
Bubba runs hot (boy’s practically a furnace 24/7) but doesn’t seem to notice the heat
0/10 affected by the cold
Don’t let the squishy boy fool you, though; he hauls meat for a living and he does heft a full-sized chainsaw around every single day
There’s fat, but it’s just insulating muscle
Bubba’s got biceps to make any man jealous, and those thighs may jiggle when he walks but they’re tree trunks that have to support his towering frame on top of the bodies meat he hauls day in and day out
If you’re worried about Bubba’s physique being a hindrance, don’t
Bubba’s hair is shorter than Thomas’s, but that’s mostly because it’s curly
Thick, bouncy, unruly dark brown curls that he doesn’t do a thing with
Seriously, someone needs to wash this boy’s hair, I promise it’s worth it; he’ll giggle and try to sit still, but he’ll bounce a little, excited just because you’re paying him attention
Bubba wears a full face mask, always made of someone else’s face/skin, held together by thick leather twine that he ties at the back fo his head
Thomas Hewitt
Thomas is another Biggun
Thomas appears taller than Bubba, but that’s because Bubba is wider
Thomas would argue he has more muscle than Bubba, but there’s really no way of telling; this argument is touted mostly just because Thomas’s muscle is easier to see
Another round belly boi, though Thomas’s chest is broader and his gut is smaller than Bubba’s
Arms, arms, arms
Thomas’s forearms are the stuff wet dreams are made of; thick and veiny, because he’s another butcher who spends his days hauling meat and victims back and forth
Legs like tree trunks, a back broad enough to sleep on, and since Thomas is heavier-handed than Bubba is, his fists really carry the appearance of sledgehammers
Thomas has the power and desire to back that up
Thomas’s hair is longer than Bubba’s and it’s straight--except during humid weather, when it gets a little wavy
His hair is black, not dark brown, but just as thick as Bubba’s
Like Bubba, Thomas doesn’t give two shits about his hair and you’ll need to wash it for him if you want it done
And he does want you to do it, because that means you’ll be close to him
Thomas wears a partial face mask, that has to always at least cover his deformed nose, jaw, and chin. Unlike Bubba, Thomas will wear regular leather, and since it isn’t a full face mask, it doesn’t have facial features, simply an open slit for his mouth
What makes them both Leatherface:
Both Thomas and Bubba suffer from facial scarring and disfigurement due to a degenerative disease and self-mutilation
Bubba’s scarring is more pronounced, as his disease is more aggressive and he’s more prone to self-mutilation than Thomas
This is due to two reasons; one, Bubba is an abuse victim with horrific self-esteem issues, and two, he’s a masochist who enjoys the sensation of pain
Both men suffer from heavy disfigurement in their noses, which leaves their noses all but gone--
Bubba is easily the shier of the two when it comes to his face; he wears a full face mask vs Thomas’s half-mask, and he will not be seen without it if he’s not around someone he loves and trusts
Thomas also wears his mask faithfully around the Family, but he seems to exude a different aura than Bubba so one might assume he isn’t as shy--don’t let the Big Guy fool you. If you’re not one of the two people he loves and trusts, any attempts to take his mask off will result in aggression
Growling, squaring his broad shoulders, and glaring as he pushes your hand away from his masked face
Bubba will just blubber and whine, and duck his head out of your grasp until you stop
Any attempts to remove either of their masks from anyone outside of the Family will get the motorized end of the saw
Personality
Bubba is the teddy bear of the two; he’s squishy, cuddly, and eager to please. Because he’s been abused the majority of his life that’s led to a Pleasing Complex, where he is constantly, desperately searching for acceptance and to know he’s done a good job
Thomas comes from a family that was more supportive and he doesn’t have Bubba’s pleasing complex as a result, but that doesn’t diminish Thomas’s need to provide for the Family and ensure he’s doing his part
Thomas is more the quiet protector or enforcer out of the two; he observes, he’s defensive and overprotective of what’s his, and he is dangerously unforgiving
Loyalty and Family are both incredibly important to both men, and neither one will hesitate when it comes to killing to protect or defend anyone who calls the Haus home
Because of the abuse in Bubba’s past, he is quick to over-correct bad behavior and will overcompensate to correct even the slightest mistake
Both Thomas and Bubba share an incredibly strong work ethic, which has been ingrained in them by their original families for years and years
Both men are mute as a result of their degenerative disease
This has led to incorrect assumptions that either or both men are slow or retarded; there’s been no proof of this.
Bubba cannot read as his family never tried to teach him (as they themselves treated him as though he was retarded) and Thomas never put much stock into school (he didn’t/couldn’t attend due to his disfigurement) but he is able to read simple words and sentences
Bubba can recognize his own name when it’s printed
Thomas knows ASL but most aren’t aware as he doesn’t usually sign back--this is by choice, by the way, not because he can’t
Despite not being able to speak, Bubba is a noisy boi
Giggles, sighs, inquisitive noises, moans--Bubba likes to express himself and will do so in any way he can
Thomas is the quieter of the two, as Bubba prefers to babble like a toddler, expressive even though he can’t actually speak
Some mistakenly believe Thomas can’t make noise but that isn’t true. His noises are deeper than Bubba’s, and he prefers grunts and groans to giggles and soft sighs
Bubba is not afraid of expressing emotion
Thomas is more reserved about the showing of emotion, but if he is shown emotion he will reciprocate immediately
Bubba answers to any variation of his name, but sadly he will also respond to any negative names people call him due to his family taking to call him “Retard” when he was growing up
Do not call Thomas anything negative if you like your head where it is
In fact, just call Thomas by his name; no nicknames outside of Tommy, just to be safe
Both men answer to Leatherface
Quirks / Traits
Both Thomas and Bubba prefer chainsaws over any other weapon of choice and it’s become something of a security blanket for them both, as it’s a way for them to defend themselves and the Family
While he’s working, Bubba prefers hammers and butcher knives
Thomas prefers meat cleavers or his bare hands
Bubba is an excellent cook
Seriously, let this boy cook for you and you’ll have a belly to match his in no time; he’s been responsible for cooking for the Sawyers for years and it shows. He knows his way around any and all cuts of meat, and if you praise him a single time over his cooking he’ll be trying to feed you constantly
Thomas knows how to cook, but he prefers to prepare the meals and leave the actual cooking to Bubba or someone else. It’s not that he’s against cooking, it’s just he’d rather do the hacking and slashing. He likes his hands dirty
That is also where the boys differ
Bubba was raised to believe it’s Family against the world, and was taught to murder through abuse and thus was never actually taught it was wrong. Any attempts to tell Bubba that killing people is wrong will be met with confused puppy head tilts and blubbering to the contrary
It can’t be wrong if it’s for the Family!
As a result, Bubba is fiercely protective of the Family and the Famlly property, and he’s a saw first, ask questions never kind of guy
Be patient with him, he doesn’t know any better and he thinks that’s how it’s supposed to be
Thomas, on the other hand, knows better. He was raised to understand right from wrong and he knows that, on some level, killing and cannibalizing people is “wrong” in the eyes of the law
But the law is wrong
Thomas won’t care if you try to change his mind about that; he likes the way people taste and he doesn’t care about anyone who isn’t Family, so you may be wasting your time trying to convince him otherwise
Besides, Thomas is a butcher, and he slaughters farm animals all day. There’s no way that’s right but killing people is wrong. He’s a simple man but he’s not stupid
Bubba does not leave the Haus properties; he has a wide array of masks but all of them are made of human flesh and he can’t exactly leave the safety of the Haus properties wearing someone else’s face
Thomas will leave the Haus properties; he might get weird stares wearing his half-masks but he’s a hulking behemoth anyway, so he’d be stared at regardless
Bubba enjoys classical music, especially when he’s working
He knows he’s hideous (why do you think he hides behind someone else’s face?) but the music is so pretty it makes him think of pretty things, like flowers and sunshine, and for a little while he can forget his own face while he sits and listens
Thomas prefers bluegrass or rock
He needs something loud, and he likes that some of the songs he can relate to on a more emotional level. Music can help him express himself as he can’t speak, and he likes the way it feels
Bubba only likes cold drinks; sweet teas, sodas, milk!!!, and beer
Thomas is fine with anything; he will drink black coffee, and he prefers darker ales when he’s drinking beer
Affection
Both boys are absolutely touch-starved and crave affection, so there’s never a worry anything is considered “too clingy” for them
Bubba is unused to positive touch at all, so he’s going to be over the moon with the smallest gesture
A pat on the head? He’s cooing
A hug? Hope you don’t have anywhere to be as he’s not letting go
A kiss on the cheek? You’re not crying, he is
Bubba will openly seek out and ask for affection, and he’ll be clingy even when he shouldn’t be, as the boy isn’t afraid of being hit or pushed away
Unlike some abuse survivors, Bubba isn’t discouraged by anger or shows of aggression, so even if you try to push him away, he’ll shuffle to the side and then immediately try again
You’ll have to forgive him; he’s touch-starved and in desperate need of some TLC, preferably 24/7
Thomas doesn’t come from an abusive background (per se) but he also was never really given affection so he’s just as touch-starved as Bubba is
Thomas won’t seek out affection like Bubba, but he’ll make it clear that’s exactly what he wants
Oh, you were putting your hand there? Well, his just happened to be there before yours
Were you going this way? That’s nice, so was he, and you won’t mind if he walks close to you, right?
You’re going to bed? He’s already in bed waiting for you, you’re the little spoon, good night
Thomas is always the Big Spoon; that’s just his preference as he prefers to curl his body around yours, one arm beneath your head, his other arm curled completely around your middle, and he’ll sleep with his cheek against yours
Thomas sleeps between you and the door always, because he’s distrusting and overprotective, which makes for an overbearing combination so i hope you don’t mind being smothered and also never out of this man’s sight just in general
Thomas is a wall of muscle and he’s pretty intimidating up close, especially since he can’t speak...and he likes to stare at you until he falls asleep
You’re just...the prettiest thing he’s ever seen, and he’s a man who has known a lot of ugly in his life. You can’t blame him for wanting to appreciate beauty now that he finally has it
I hope you used the bathroom before you got in bed, because Thomas’s grip is like iron. You’re not getting up without him
Bubba will switch between the Big and little spoon; depending on how his day went or what mood he’s in when it’s time for bed
When he’s the Big spoon, he prefers to sleep with you facing him, but given Bubba’s a big boi he’s plenty tall enough to bury his face in your hair, his arm around your lower back and the other around the middle of your back, keeping you locked to him all night
Remember when I said Bubba’s a furnace? This boy generates heat
You really won’t need any covers with him, but he likes snuggling under them with you anyway
Please don’t try to leave him in the middle of the night; if he wakes up without you, he will panic, and he will be a blubbering mess by the time you come back to bed--it doesn’t matter if it’s just to go to the bathroom, wake him up to tell him because the fear of losing you terrifies him
If Bubba’s the little spoon, he still prefers to sleep facing you, so anytime he opens his eyes you’re the first thing he sees. He sleeps with his head buried in your chest, his arms cinched tight around your middle
Other sleep arrangements include--
Sleeping on Thomas’s chest
Bubba half-crushing you by insisting he sleeps on top of you (especially if you are prone to getting out of bed without telling him)
Being wedged between both bois, trapped with zero hope of moving until both of them are awake and ready to let you go for the day
NSFW
You don’t need me to tell you, do you?
Everything is bigger in Texas
You don’t need to worry about any disappointments in the bedroom when it comes to the Sawyer boys, because the downstairs matches everything else
Girth, length--it’s all designed to leave you shaky, sore, and pregnant
Bubba’s cock has more girth, but Thomas has him beat in length
Bubba will stretch your walls to the point of discomfort and he won’t know any better, because he’ll be too busy burying his face in your neck to stifle the needy, wanton cries he’s making because you’re so tight
Thomas will knock your bottom out and he’ll take your scream to mean it’s good, he’s good, keep going--and he will, because he can’t stop now that he’s finally, fully inside you
Bubba, despite being raised on a farm, has very limited sexual experience. He’d seen his uncle’s magazines that had been stashed under the bed when he was living back home, but he didn’t understand what he was looking at
But what Bubba lacks in experience, he more than makes up for in eagerness
This boy is a pleaser in every sense of the word, and you’re going to have a fight on your hands if you’re wanting to please him for once, because he can’t keep his hands, his lips, his body off of yours long enough to understand there’s things you can do to him
Thomas has a little more experience than Bubba; he was also raised on a farm, but he paid more attention to the animals and he knows what breeding looks like
And trust and believe, Thomas will breed you
You’ll barely be able to get ahold of the edge of the mattress to steady yourself on your hands and knees before Thomas is drilling you into it, perhaps misunderstanding that the deeper he is, the more likely you are to be pregnant
You’ll have to forgive him, he’s just so needy...
Bubba is a S/switch, but he’s predominantly a submissive
Bubba’s kinks include praise, humiliation (abuse has unfortunately warped his masochistic tendencies into thinking this is love), S&M, littlespace (Bubba is both a little and a Daddy, depending on the situation/day) edging/orgasm denial, incest (Bubba comes from a close Family), forced feeding (you’ll be on the receiving end of this, every time), lactation, roleplaying (he’s got a wildly overactive imagination, so he’s extremely good at this), marking, necrophilia, and cannibalism
Bubba will pretend that he doesn’t like when you fight him, but he’s spent his whole life chasing down victims; he gets a thrill from the chase and the capture, so if you run from him, he will chase you down
If you don’t expressly tell him not to, he will chase you down with his chainsaw
But don’t worry, he won’t hurt you with it! He’ll just make you sit right on top of it’s vibrating handle until you’re a shaking, sticky mess, terrified of the spinning blade and trusting the iron grip around your middle not to let you slip and be split right in half
After-care is hugely important for Bubba even after normal sex, especially if he had his mask off during
Kisses, cuddles, letting him hold you as tightly or as closely as he wants, taking baths together, eating together--it doesn’t matter what you do, just be there with the Big Guy and he’ll be happy
He just needs you
Thomas is a Dom. Full-stop, he does not submit and he will expect you to, eventually
Thomas’s kinks include DD/lg (Thomas is a strict but caring Daddy Dom), edging/orgasm denial, S&M (Thomas is both a sadist and a masochist), forced feeding (again, this one is entirely you), breeding/forced impregnation, rape, necrophilia, marking, cannibalism, pet play (Thomas has a thing for collars and leashes) and bondage
Bubba doesn’t exactly like you in his workspace (it’s dangerous! What if you get hurt?!) but Thomas likes you down there--but on his terms. You’ll either be strung up on a meat hook (hung by a rope, not impaled--unless you tell him you want to be) with your feet barely touching the ground, so he can touch/fuck you as he likes while he works, or you’ll be lying in a pet bed beside his workbench so he can drop onto his haunches and feed you scraps through the day
Like Bubba, Thomas enjoys chasing you down, and even if you tell him not to...he may still chase you with his chainsaw. He’s pretty attached to the fucking thing, and he likes how wet you get when you’re scared
Thomas loves when you fight him, so go right ahead
Thomas takes aftercare seriously, and please don’t forget that he’ll need some of that, too. Thomas is a Dom but he’s also a man with a broken soul, so he’s going to need you to stay close to him, to stroke his hair or let him brush yours, to take baths together or let him slowly come down by marking you as much as he wants. It makes him feel better, to know you’re his
No matter the situation, the boys will have rules for you, and they do expect you to follow them
Bubba’s rules include do not talk to strangers, no leaving the Haus property without telling him, do not eat without him, do not go to bed without him, do not get out of bed without him, and no going into his workspace without him
Thomas’s rules include no talking to strangers, no leaving the Haus without him, do not go to bed without him, do not get out of bed without him, do not leave his sight if you are not with the Family, do not cover up his marks
Punishments for rule-breaking generally means a spanking, and both boys have hands calloused and large enough to count as a paddle, so you’re really not missing out on anything since they don’t use toys
Bubba prefers to bend you over his lap, but Thomas will bend you over any surface or even force you against a wall
If you continue to break the rules, the punishments will escalate to orgasm denial, branding (yes, that kind of branding), being tied to the bed/restrained, forced orgasms, and even forced impregnation
The boys will never punish you in a way that separates you; neither of them could stand the separation
Bubba doesn’t actually like punishing you (well...maybe he does, a little) but Thomas is entirely fine if you want to challenge the both of them left and right. They’ve both got a heavy hand--
But you knew that, by now, didn’t you?
#{theme} : headcanons#{character} : thomas hewitt#{character} : bubba sawyer#{ this turned into a goddamn character study }#{ but...it was nice to write }#{ i could talk about them for hourssss }#{ if nothing else it was good practice for learning/studying other characters later }

World Building Wednesday
(yes it’s Thursday I didn’t finish it yesterday shut up)
@ghostyreader said #3! #3 would’ve been Koyane but Maron is currently off being leveled so Drosia is third :)
Writing is under the cut~
Drosia stretched her limbs. Her elbow joint popped and a small “oh” escaped her beak.
“Well, that felt interesting.”
Pouli looked over at Drosia and shook his head. He stuck his head back under his wing.
Drosia didn’t notice her parrot’s reaction. She was too busy looking to the sky. The pop hadn’t hurt, so she wasn’t bothered. Her eyes traced the clouds, looking for shapes. She and Pouli had been cloud gazing before they both drifted off into a light slumber. The sky had been blue one second, then orange the next.
She could’ve believe she had slept that long. Drosia rolled over with an overexaggerated groan. Her wings fell beside her. The grass tickled her belly and made Drosia feel itchy. She lifted her rear off of the ground and stretched her forelimbs out.
“Uuuugh.”
Pouli looked over once more and gave an angry squawk. "Quiet!"
"Oh hush you grumpy bird." Drosia pushed her chest off of the ground and gave herself a good shake. "It's time to go home."
"Shush."
"Pouli."
"Pouli sleep. Drosia go home."
"Pouli," Drosia sighed, "the last time I left you behind, you got lost and i didn't see you for a week. I had to hire someone to track your fat feathered rear down."
The parrot gave his feathers an angry shake. "Drosia go home."
"Yes, that is the plan. But you're coming with me." Drosia walked over to the tree that Pouli was perched in and picked him up. "I'll carry you the whole way if I have to."
"No! Pouli fly! Pouli fly!"
"Good, now let's go."
Drosia spread her wings and pushed off of the ground. Her muscles stretched and ached. They had been still for so long that the sudden exercise was not welcomed. Drosie felt their unwillingness to work. She glanced behind her and saw Pouli coasting alongside her back claws. He was definitely a grumpy bird. Pouli never liked being interrupted from his beauty sleep, especially when it was in the sun.
It was a significant flight home. Pouli and Drosia had ventured over the border, into the Sunbeam Ruins. The best light was there. It was brighter longer, and warmer longer too. The perfect situation for sunbathing. Not only that, but the ground was much dryer. Unless it rained of course. The Tangled Wood had a habit of being wet all over. The moisture rarely evaporated and it made for some moldy situations.
The sun had long disappeared behind the pines of the forest by the time they got home. Drosie landed easily on an old, tilted column. The column had once belonged to the Crescent, but Drosia brought it home for easier, and less muddy, landings. Pouli landed on Drosia's shoulder just a moment later. The sound of his wings fluttered heavily in her ears as his feathers beat her neck.
"You need to work on that landing still."
"Stickler."
Drosia rolled her eyes as she hopped off of the platform. She landed hard onto some mushrooms. Their squished bodies made her feet glow for a short time, before the bacteria died or was wiped off by passing brambles. Drosia wished she could teach an old bird new tricks, but she new it wasn't possible. At least not with Pouli.
After a couple of minutes, Drosie found the entrance to the clan's cave. She hated how dark everything always was. She wandered inside and took her route to her own place. Pouli jumped off of her shoulder as soon as they were in their own little cavern.
"Pouli hates the dark."
"I know." Drosia walked to one side and hit the stone with her claw. A spark lit the wick. The wick trailed around the room and lit all the candles. "I hate the dark too."
"Pouli go home."
"This is home."
"Pouli go back."
"Pouli can't go back."
"Pouli go back."
"Pouli." Drosia looked over at him and ran her claws through her feathers. "We follow the clan. They've protected us. We'll go back if they go back. You know this."
Pouli ruffled his feathers and flew back over to Drosia. He sat on her head and balled himself up. "Pouli hate."
"Drosia hates it too." Drosia sighed and moved towards her stash of candles. However much she hated the dank, dark cave that Avie had chosen, she loved the glow her candles gave off. They made her feel warm and safe. Drosia did find it very frustrating about just how often she needed to restock. The candles burned so fast. She looked over her collection and sighed yet again. Her stock was starting to thin. She'd have to venture to the markets tomorrow.
Drosia moved away from her candles and over to her cupboard. Her stomach growled. She was hungry, but she didn't feel like eating. At least, she thought she was hungry. For all she knew, it was the homesickness that sat in her stomach. Drosia missed the daily trips to the Promenade. She missed the markets back in the Sunbeam Ruins, and the balls, and the parties, and the carnivals. She missed the everlasting conversations with those in different career fields. They were the experts. If they lived in the Sunbeam Ruins, they knew what they were talking about. Drosia missed that.
Instead, Drosia had wet. Dank. Drab. Moldy and muddy. Squishy and messy. Mud. Drosia was a neat dragon; she took care of herself and her looks. But here, in the Tangled Woods, Drosia felt like she was bathing herself way too often. Sometimes three times a day.
Pouli hated it too. He didn't have to worry about the mess so much though. He mostly sat on Drosia when they were out in the wilderness. He just hated the dark. He cried and threw fits if they went too long without visiting the Ruins.
"Hungry," Pouli chirped in Drosia's ear.
Drosia's head pulled back in fright, dislodging Pouli from her head.
"Rude. Mean. Hungry."
"Sorry Pouli. You scared me is all. I was just thinking... I was thinking is all. " Drosia reached into the cupboard and pulled out a jar. She opened it up and dropped a few seeds into her hand. "Here you go." Pouli hopped down her neck and to her shoulder. She lifted her hand up and he jumped into it. Pouli snapped up some seeds and ate them quickly.
"More."
"Later. Too much at once is bad."
"Fine."
Drosia put the lid back on and put the jar back. She pulled out a second one full of larvae and straight up chugged the whole thing. Drosia didn't feel like thinking about her food around here. Everything was squishy, even the insects. There weren't a lot of beetles or ladybugs around. At this point, Drosia wouldn't have even minded some cicadas. But no, only larvae and caterpillars and flies.
Drosia made her way to her nest and laid down. Pouli hopped over to her and perched himself on a nearby shelf. "Good night."
"Good night Pouli. I'm sorry I got cross with you."
"It okay. Drosia protect Pouli. Clan protect Drosia. Clan is best for Pouli."
"Yeah. Maybe one day we'll move back. Talons crossed."
"Talons crossed."

5 Critical Keys to Kill Your Cellulite
One of our contributing experts recently put together a kick-butt article that is the “Do This – and DON’T Do That” rule-book when it comes to getting rid of unsightly cellulite dimples, shadows and ripples. It’s a quick read with some eye-opening tips and a cellulite elimination hack that you’ll want to see while it’s still up.
Contributed by – Gavin Walsh, Womens’ Body Enhancement Specialist — M.S., Exercise Physiology and creator of ‘The 28 Day Cellulite Elimination System ~ My Cellulite Solution‘
“Ask any woman on the street what the definition of “cellulite” is and you’ll get a confused variety of answers. From “toxic fat pockets caught in the skin” to “bands of fiber pulling down on the skin” and many odd things in between…”
The truth is: most people really don’t know what “cellulite” actually is, or, what causes this odd appearance of the lower body trouble zones…”
This is no surprise as there actually is no such thing as ‘cellulite’… So how do we get rid of something which doesn’t exist?”
Here’s the answer:
“The word, “cellulite”, was cleverly made-up several decades ago, in a European beauty-spa, to DESCRIBE the bumpy, shadowy and dimpled appearance of skin in the lower body trouble zones of the female body. (butt, hips, thighs, legs)”
The beauty spas then started cashing-in and profiting big-time by marketing “beauty” services and products to get rid of “cellulite”. And if you’re like most women who’ve been challenged by this issue, then you probably already know all of those passive and superficial beauty treatments do not get rid of the dented shadows and mushy dimples on your buns, legs and thighs.”
In order to make your lower-body smooth, tight and attractive, there are 5 steps to follow.
5 Critical Keys to KILL Your Cellulite
Here they are:
#1 You cannot get rid of the dimples and shadows (cellulite) by rubbing an odd gel, weird lotion or goopy cream on your trouble zones and problem spots.
So, stop using them – as some can actually make your cellulite worse.
Despite the fact that there are dozens of supposed ‘cellulite reduction creams’ on the market, there is no possible way for any one of them, no matter how expensive, to get rid of your cellulite. Cellulite is not a skin problem. Its an underlying structural issue, that can only be corrected by reversing the cause of atrophied muscle fibers directly beneath your “cellulite” trouble spots.”
Since the squishy dimples and shadows are a superficial symptom of a problem below the surface; it’s impossible for the creams, lotions or gels to have any physiological impact on the cause of the issue…”
#2 Risky and expensive ‘medi-spa treatments’ can only reduce your bank account – not your cellulite problems. And there are many consumer reports about women being seriously scarred or injured as well.
Stay away from these as the FDA reports show women who’ve been scarred or injured for life.
Painful, dangerous and uncomfortable services ranging from endermologie to body-wrapping have been proven to be totally ineffective when it comes to treating cellulite. However, advertising and marketing loopholes allow these services to be cleverly marketed to desperate women who are at wits end with the unattractive dimples and shadows on the lower-body problem areas.”
#3 The unattractive dimples, shadows and saggy ripples known as cellulite are not ‘genetic’ and you are NOT stuck with them forever if you have them.
Falsely believing this will prevent you from getting rid of your cellulite. So, don’t entertain this nonsense for 1 second.
These two ridiculous myths are often passed around by ‘neighborhood know-it-alls’ – and many women actually believe these 2 myths – especially if they haven’t found the right way to get rid of the cellulite. Whats even more alarming are the number of doctors who also believe in and foster these 2 demoralizing falsehoods.
Yes – it is common to see a mother and daughter, both with the lower-body “orange peel” look, BUT this doesn’t mean cellulite is genetic – it simply means both women have not found a way to lift, tone and firm the muscle layers under the dimpled, saggy skin.”
#4 You can get rid of cellulite, regardless of your age – or when you began to notice it.“
Since cellulite is a structural issue (muscle) – it can be fixed with simple and unique body movements which target the cellulite areas.”
These types of moves can be followed by any woman, regardless of her age or fitness level. And it doesn’t matter if the cellulite started in the early teen years – or after pregnancy – or after menopause – it’s still a structural issue that results from soft, un-toned muscles underneath the saggy, dimpled, shadowy skin.”
#5 The only proven way to permanently get rid of the dimples and shadows of cellulite is through a series of simple, yet specifically targeted lower-body movements“
These unique movements focus on lifting, shaping and toning the muscle layers so they gently push outward against the skin – to bring back the smooth, tight and sexy appearance, while burning off any excess flab, if there is any.”
This is how regular women reverse the cause of cellulite dimples and shadows… AND, if there happens to be any excess fat in those zones – it will be burned off as fuel by the muscles. This bonus of losing any unhealthy excess body-fat is nice because it reveals a great body and it works wonders for your health profile.“
BUT you won’t learn about these unique slow-tempo movements in the gym or your local health club.
These body movements are NOT done with typical weights and machine type exercises.
Most regular fitness instructors don’t even know about this type of targeted cellulite-killing method. (click to learn more)“
These muscle-stimulating movements can be done right at home, in total privacy.
The female lower-body has over 90 muscles… Picture those 90 muscles BENEATH your skin’s surface in your legs, butt, hips and thigh zones. That’s where the magic happens in regards to true removal of mushy dimples and saggy shadows in the trouble spots and problem areas…
Despite what most women have been led to believe, there is a critical difference between a ‘general workout program’ – and a laser-focused, cellulite removal method.
The sweetest benefit of this is; you don’t need access to a health club or fitness center.
These are simple, unique moves you can start doing today, right in the privacy of your own home. And if you start this type of targeted muscle stimulation method today – you will start feeling results within 2 weeks and seeing results within 3 to 4 weeks.“

EXTRA TIP – #6 The Dimples, Ripples and Shadows of Cellulite Get Worse if They Are Not Taken Care of Properly. And the worse it gets, the harder it is to reverse.

How to lose weight fast
There are plenty reasons why you put on fat around your waist... eating too much... growing older... family traits... alcohol... stress.
Excessive eating
... when we ingest more calories than we use up in our daily activities, our bodies store the extra calories as fat. We all need to eat less.
Growing older... as we age we start to lose muscle mass and gain fat. This is normal but it means that if we don't learn to eat less we will put on weight, ie get fat.
Family traits
... our genetics and family history plays a role in the type of fat we gain.
Who is most at risk of visceral fat?
Any one at any age who overeats (ie, eats more than they burn off in various activities) will develop tummy fat.
Reduce belly fat through diet
One of the best ways to reduce both kinds of belly fat... subcutaneous and visceral... is to create a calorie deficit, ie eat fewer calories than your body burns. All you need to be able to do is to make a rough calculation of the calories you eat each day and reduce that figure by at least 25%. It is not too hard to do, and it works.
At the same time you need to follow the Beating Diabetes diet. Here it is:
Eat natural foods that are low in sugar, low in fat, low in salt, and high in fiber, and have a low Hypoglycemic Index.
Reduce belly fat with exercise: Research has shown that exercise plays a significant role in eliminating belly fat.
There are several ways you can reduce tummy fat using exercises:
Get moving... just increasing your level of physical activity will burn more calories.
Takeaway
Belly fat can give rise to serious health problems whether you are diabetic or not.
But you can get rid of it easily enough with diet and exercise...
Eat fewer calories than you burn Avoid sugary foods Avoid fat in your diet as far as possible Avoid added salt Avoid refined carbohydrates Avoid processed foods Eat lean protein Eat foods that are digested slowly Eat lots of soluble fiber Drink alcohol sparingly Reduce your stress levels Take up aerobic exercises (cardio)Paul D Kennedy is a type 2 diabetic. He used his skills as an international consultant and researcher to find a way to beat his diabetes using diet alone and, about eight years ago, he stopped taking medications to control his blood glucose levels.

5 Critical Keys to Kill Your Cellulite / http://cellulite-out.blogspot.com
http://cellulite-out.blogspot.com / In order to make your lower-body smooth, tight and attractive, there are 5 steps to follow. Here they are... 5 Critical Keys to KILL Your Cellulite !!!
1: You cannot get rid of the dimples and shadows (cellulite) by rubbing an odd gel, weird lotion or goopy cream on your trouble zones and problem spots. In order to make your lower-body smooth, tight and attractive. Its an underlying structural issue, that can only be corrected by reversing the cause of atrophied muscle fibers directly beneath your “cellulite” trouble spots." Since the squishy dimples and shadows are a superficial symptom of a problem below the surface; it’s impossible for the creams, lotions or gels to have any physiological impact on the cause of the issue…" 2: Risky and expensive ‘medi-spa treatments’ can only reduce your bank account – not your cellulite problems. However, advertising and marketing loopholes allow these services to be cleverly marketed to desperate women who are at wits end with the unattractive dimples and shadows on the lower-body problem areas." 3: The unattractive dimples, shadows and saggy ripples known as cellulite are not ‘genetic’ and you are NOT stuck with them forever if you have them. Yes – it is common to see a mother and daughter, both with the lower-body "orange peel" look, BUT this doesn't mean cellulite is genetic – it simply means both women have not found a way to lift, tone and firm the muscle layers under the dimpled, saggy skin." 4: You can get rid of cellulite, regardless of your age – or when you began to notice it." Since cellulite is a structural issue (muscle) – it can be fixed with simple and unique body movements which target the cellulite areas." These types of moves can be followed by any woman, regardless of her age or fitness level. And it doesn’t matter if the cellulite started in the early teen years – or after pregnancy – or after menopause – it’s still a structural issue that results from soft, un-toned muscles underneath the saggy, dimpled, shadowy skin." 5: The only proven way to permanently get rid of the dimples and shadows of cellulite is through a series of simple, yet specifically targeted lower-body movements" These unique movements focus on lifting, shaping and toning the muscle layers so they gently push outward against the skin – to bring back the smooth, tight and sexy appearance, while burning off any excess flab, if there is any." This is how regular women reverse the cause of cellulite dimples and shadows… AND, if there happens to be any excess fat in those zones – it will be burned off as fuel by the muscles. This bonus of losing any unhealthy excess body-fat is nice because it reveals a great body and it works wonders for your health profile." BUT you won’t learn about these unique slow-tempo movements in the gym or your local health club." These body movements are NOT done with typical weights and machine type exercises." These muscle-stimulating movements can be done right at home, in total privacy." – The female lower-body has over 90 muscles…" Picture those 90 muscles BENEATH your skin’s surface in your legs, butt, hips and thigh zones. That’s where the magic happens in regards to true removal of mushy dimples and saggy shadows in the trouble spots and problem areas… Despite what most women have been led to believe, there is a critical difference between a ‘general workout program’ – and a laser-focused, cellulite removal method. The sweetest benefit of this is; you don’t need access to a health club or fitness center." … Check HERE:
