Its been many hours later, neo has.. well. Died. Leaving his fate to orbot and cubot meant they panicked too lomg and the suffering werehog spent his last moments choking on his own blood and saliva until he finally died in a slow demise. But hey, atleast sonic didn’t care about him or the badniks as much as he cares for his friends, right? Eggman wouldn’t be catching any dirt for letting that mutt die.

By now, the doctor had been working on a new model for metal, without most of his memories, sentience, or even voice. He wasn’t having a repeat of all these magical followers of his getting attached to a robot with a voice. And sonic couldn’t tame something that couldn’t think. Easy fix to the solution. By now the werehog corpse had been tossed to the nearest city outskirts to let them deal with it. Wether they ate it, or trashed it was up to them.

The robot would sloowly power online. Red eyes flickered on as it stood almost immediately from the table it sat upon. The mechanical robot speaks no word. Just as planned. And once eggman tasks him to clean up the mess sonic made, he leaves the room and gets right to it. Infinites ears oerk when the new Metal passes him, and yips out.

“Metal- hey! I was worried sick about you— you’re okay now right-?

The jackal barks after him, pausing his persuit as the robot turns, stares at infinite.. and just turns away to continue its task. The jackals ears flop as he watches him walk off without a word.

“Baby..? Wh-..”

“Ah. You met him already?”

“Oh! Doctor— sir whats going on with metal? Hes silent as ever again—“

“Ooh.. simple thing, really. I rebuilt him and removed his consciousness and voice again. Sonic and his little brother will have to really put in the work if they even care that much to ‘rehabilitate’ him now. Im not having a rerun of that fiasco.”

The doctor hums and walks off at that. The jackals ears go back like a sad puppy. Everything he, rusty and metal had gone through and.. and he didnt remember it at all. He should’ve expected this. Infinite sucks in a breath, and turns to do something to take his mind off it. Saddened but.. accepting.

Lucia, a newly appointed knight, was sent on a solo mission to take care of the rumored werewolf stalking the local woods. The bumpkin of a beastfolk had a light guard up as she explored her surroundings, looking for her quarry. "Hmm... Now where could you be? Tracks are scarce and nothing too out the ordinary." She thought aloud.

Erik had kept to himself as he enjoyed the peaceful life in the woods. The damn townspeople always went with the stories of him killing things like the animals. He was in the bushes in his part wolf form, looking at her in silence.
