Thor #300 (Gruenwald & Macchio/Pollard, Oct 1980). A massive story. The long retcon is complete — Wagner’s Ring cycle kinda explains why Odin created the ominous Odinsword and the Destroyer. He takes both to confront the Celestials, whose fifty year judgement inexplicably accelerates to right this moment. The All-Father and his son fail to stop the giant aliens. Ultimately Thor’s mother, Gaia (Mother Earth), offers up twelve Young Gods as proof of humankind’s worthiness. All of Asgard is scattered, Thor lies defeated, and the threat of the Celestials is ended. I feel like Kirby would have pulled this off better.

2015: Patent Pending: Miles texts Peter about a job Warren has for them. Jean meets Hope A. in astral form. Laurie texts Wade to check on him following the mission to save North.

2016: Emma posts an open invite to her suite to celebrate her birthday.

2017: Garrison and Laurie have an intense discussion during a training session in the Danger Room. Jean-Philippe quotes the national anthem of France in a post. Bobbi expresses her need to drink this weekend.

2018:

2019: Fear in the Dark: Marie-Ange goes into a precognitive state and starts texting Fourteen with various drawings, who then shares them with Doug; in the morning, Thor arrives at the mansion with explanations and something to help Tandy with the Dweller; Thor and Tandy explain the situation to the leaders of the various teams, plus Iron Man and Captain America, and a collaboration is made; Clea posts to her journal about calamities across the world, while Cyclops posts an all-call to the mansion for help; the eight Worthy are in various cities across the world generating panic and fear for Cul to feed on and eight teams of mutants and Avengers take them on; a ninth team goes to Norway to confront Cul, who tries to free the Dweller; Marie-Ange and Doug help Tandy fight the Dweller for control while Cyclops, Hellion, Wolverine and Skin back up Thor who confronts his uncle with a new Odinsword; Cul knocks the sword away from Thor and it lands in front of Doug; Tandy approaches Cul and hits him with an enormous light burst and Doug beheads him with the sword; all over the world, the Worthies’ hammers turn to dust and the possessed bodies are released; Doug posts about needing an Odinsleep.

2022: Monica posts about visiting Louisiana with her dad.

2023: Jubilee reflects on her going no tech has meant she’s out of the loop on mansion gossip and asks someone to fill her in. Quentin accidentally posts a text to Cyndi on the journals as a whole and mentions Jean having stayed with Haller overnight; Nica picks up on the slip and texts the Grad Girl Squad, unhappy at Haller for two-timing Sooraya. Inez goes to visit Darcy at the X-Force office, before their discussion takes a bit of an unexpected turn.

June 18th - Mangog

The Mangog is a powerful entity whose form is composed of the summation of all the fear and anger of an entire alien race that had been extinguished by a cosmic event.  Taking on the physical form of a giant monster, The Mangog attacked Asgard and was defeated by Odin.  The creature was imprisoned in the bowls below Asgard until he was freed by Ulik The Troll who hoped that the creature could prove an alley in his efforts to destroy Asgard.  Once freed, the creature attempted to release the Odinsword from its scabbard and hence end the universe.  This destructive plot was thwarted by The Mighty Thor with assistance by The Odinforce.  The Mangog was once more imprisoned, but has escaped on a number of occasions leading to subsequent battles with Thor as well as Thunderstrike.  The Mangog also briefly served as an agent of Thanos in the Mad Titan’s efforts to conquer the cosmos.  The Mangog first appeared in the pages of Thor Vol. 1 #154.

This is exciting. I’ve got the Heirophant dropping an Angela shard every day, forever. I’ve got the Earth’s Mightiest Heroes deco doing the same for comics pages, and the Big Cheese doing likewise for stam packs. My next objective is the Odinsword, which will similarly drop an Odin shard daily. Once Odin & Angela reach max rarity, that will translate to two additional gold capsules every 45 days! This is especially good news now that I have a job again 😭

Good point. 

I wonder if Odinsword exists in MCU, and if Destroyer somehow survived destruction of Asgard in “Thor Ragnarok”... provided it was repaired after Thor trashed it in his first movie.

Cause in comics Odin created them to fight The Celestials, so I think it would be a good idea to use them for Thanos too.
